738: Everyone forgiving Tai, is probaly because they know he is a heastrong hotshot, but as for our Meldoy she knows him when he is normal and not super competitive...so it will probaly take some time for him to be completly forgiven by her. Thanks for loving the story:)))

Gabumon, Matt, Melody, and Renamon laughed. Tai looked back to where Melody was out of the corner of his eyes.
"We haven't rested Our feet!"Gomamon replied
"There's no place to sit, except on a cactus!"Joe said
"Great view up here!"Tokomon cried from the top of TK's hat
"Next time, I ride."TK replied
"You look terrible, Koromon. If only I hadn't acted like such a bonehead, you never would have digivolved!"Tai replied

Melody tried to contain her laugh, but couldn't. Tai shot a look to Melody.

"You know, what we need right now is a whole bunch of shade! A big umbrella or a really big tree! Or maybe I could grow into a giant cactus and smile down on all of you as I provide cool, refreshing comfort!"Palmon replied
"It's official. The sun has just turned Palmon's brain into a French fry! Earth to Palmon, come in!"Matt replied
"Palmon, look!"Mimi cried
Mimi points to a giant Cactus close to them
"Woah!"Everyone said
"Wowie, I did that? I'm pretty amazing!"Palmon cried
"Yeah, you better believe it, Palmon! Come on everybody, let's head for some shade!"Tai shouted
"Yeah! Woo-hoo!"Everyone cried
When they arrive at the Cactus, they find there is no shade behind it.
"Aw! What happened to the shade?"Tai asked
"Huh?"Everyone asked
The Cactus sadly vanishes.
"It was just a mirage! We've been tricked!"Matt shouted
"Aw..."Everyone cried
They collapse to the ground. Then, they look at each other as a voice comes from nowhere. The group looked around till they saw who had spoken.
"Well, well. It's about time you got here! I was just about to give up on you!"A voice said
"It's Gennai!"Matt and Melody cried together
"Gennai, we found the tags and a couple of crests, like you wanted, but where we got into trouble, Our Digimon couldn't digivolve! They just ended up worst off than when they started! Just look at poor Agumon, he is just not himself, and I'm supposed to be helping him!"Tai replied
"I think those crests are more trouble than they're worth!"Mimi replied placing her hands on her hips once she was behind Melody.
"Calm down, kids, let me explain! Those tags and crests are extremely important. You must not let anyone else get a hold of them! In the end, you will see that they will come together to create total harmony."Gennai replied
"Huh?"Everyone asked confused
"In English?"Mimi asked
"That would be nice."Melody replied
"Just trust me. After all, I'm the floating, glowing guy! As for Koromon, he wouldn't be
so helpless if you had known how to care for him in the proper way."Gennai replied
"But I did the best I could!"Tai shouted
"Patience is what you need to learn, my friend. And you will learn it in time."Gennai replied
"That's one lesson Tai will never learn Gennai."Melody replied
"But I want to have Agumon back now!"Tai cried
"Do I need to show you any more evidence sir?"Melody replied
"I'm beginning to lose my connection. That's something you're going to have to figure out by yourself."Gennai replied
"Wait a minute!"Tai cried
"Sorry, I'm on a tight schedule!"Gennai replied
Gennai disappears. Everyone now had even more questions and even less answers. What they did know that Tai was super impatient and Melody was super mad at Tai.
"It never fails! Every time I need to know about something, he leaves me out to dry!"Tai cried
Biyomon went over to Gabumon and Renamon.
"Are we being cared for properly?"She asked the two beast digimon
"If we were, Agumon wouldn't have digivolved backwards."Gabumon replied
"Come on! Don't freak me out!"Matt replied
"If I may, I think for us it depends on how our tamers handle the situation. I only digivole for Melody since she is my partner as for you Gabumon digivole for Matt. What happened to Tai and Agumon have nothing to do with how we will or would react to our crest. Also I think we are getting taken care of."Renamon said to Biyomon and Gabumon
"I'm...better with computers!"Izzy said to Tentomon
"That's ridiculous! As far as I'm concerned, you're the best!"Tentomon said
"You look bummed."Gomamon said
"How am I supposed to take care of you? Is there an instruction manual somewhere? I feel very inadequate."Joe replied
"Me too."Gomamon replied
"Huh?"The two asked
"Huh? Ah!"Everyone asked
A large ship is coming toward them.
"Is that a battleship?"Tai asked
"Could be! But it looks more like fancy cruise ship!"Sora asked
"The passengers will want their money back when they see this place!"Joe replied
"Yeah!"Mimi replied
"It may be just a mirage!"TK replied
"Yeah, it looks pretty real to me!"Matt said
"Whatever it is, it's giving me a bad feeling."Melody replied
"Ah!"The kids cried once the ship got close enough to them
The kids run out of the way, and the Ship comes to a halt.
"Ahoy!"A Numemon shouted
"Ah!"the kids shouted once they saw the familiar digimon
"Numemon!"Mimi cried
Koromon cried, Tai looked down at his partner and started to cheer him up like he would Kari and Hayden.
"Hey, fella! Could all of us come aboard and freshen up?"Tai asked
"Ugh..."The Numemon replied
"If you don't mind, this needs a woman's touch. Well, hey there, big boy! Your ship looks so inviting! How about letting us on board so that we could check it out? Oh, please? Hmm?"Mimi replied
Mimi puts on a cute face, and the Numemon falls in love. The stairs come down
"Is it safe?"Joe asked
Mimi laughs and they all run onto the ship. The kids were amazed with what they saw.
"What? No linen table cloths? Well, I guess we CAN rough it!"Mimi cried
Mimi and Sora go to their room. Tai saw that Melody was still there so he decided now would be a good time to apologize to Melody. However, Mimi came back and grabbed the blond by the back of her shirt and drug her down the hall.
"MIMI I CANT WALK LIKE THIS!"Melody cried
The three girls walked into the room shocked to see how it looked.
"Wow! Nice!"The girls said
The girls quickly shrugged out of their clothes. Mimi laughs and said:
"We can spend hours just pampering ourselves! Totally yes!"
"Yeah, we were getting pretty smelly! They've even got little tiny soap bars!"Sora replied
"Look, we can take a shower!"Mimi said
"I'm in heaven!"Melody cried

In the Dining Room
The TK, Matt, and Izzy walked in to see a huge table with food spared from one in to another.
"Look at the incredible spread!"Matt yelled
"It looks highly edible."Izzy replied
"Might I propose we eat a bit, and take the leftovers with us!"Tentomon said
"Let's eat it all now!"Matt replied
"Oh, I can't believe it!"TK replied
"Remember when the food was just an illusion?"Izzy asked
"Another alien plot?"Matt asked
"It doesn't smell like an alien plot!"Tentomon said
Gabumon burped then quickly covered his mouth and said:
"Excuse me."
"Oh..."TK said
"Ugh...After extensive deliberation, I have come to the conclusion that it would be rude to allow this cuisine to become cold. "Izzy said
"Yeah!"The group said
"Let's go for it, guys!"Izzy cried
"Yeah!"The rest of the group called
The boys start to eat the food like there's no tomorrow.
At the Pool
Even though Tai's mind was racing with thoughts he calmed them down to a few.
"I'm confused, Joe. What do you think Gennai meant when he said we're not taking proper care of Our Digimon?"Tai asked
"I don't know. We've done everything but give them an allowance."Joe replied
A man watches Joe and Tai from far away.
"Aha! I see the couple have taken the bait! Time for me to get started! They'll never
forget this cruise!"Captain said
The man changes shape to become a digimon.
"Etomon will reward me greatly when he finds out I've trapped the Digidestined on my ship!"Cockatrimon said
Cockatrimon tries to connect with Etomon. However, something happens and he can't get in touch with him.
"Something's wrong. Etemon's network appears to be down. Aw, who needs him? I'll have the pleasure of plastering their feathers all by myself! Cocka! Cocka! Cocka! Cocka! It's amazing how my brains surpass my good looks!"Cockatrimon said then he looks to the NUMEMON "Now hear this! I have an important message. Listen up! I'll give you Numemon an extra serving of dry bread and I'll even throw in some jelly if you capture those kids!"
At the pool, the Numemon throw nets over Tai and Joe.
"Ah!"Tai and Joe said
"Ah!"Gomamon cried
"They need me!"Koromon said
"Don't you know I'm claustrophobic?"Joe cried
"What's gotten into you Numemon?"Tai asked
"Okay, you asked for it! Marching Fishes!"Gomamon said
The Numemon reach for the crests.
"You better keep your hands off!"Tai said
"Digivolve! Koromon Digivolve to...Agumon!"Koromon said
"He's back!"Tai cried
"Pepper Breath! Ah!"Agumon cried
The two digimon look to see Cockatrimon.
"That bad egg is Cockatrimon!"Gomamon said
"Tetra Fire!"Cockatrimon yelled
Agumon and Gomamon cried out:
"AH!"
Agumon and Gomamon are turned to stone.
"Ah!"Tai and Joe cried
"Poor Agumon!"Tai cried
"Gomamon!"Joe said
"Look, they left me a present!"Cockatrimon said
Cockatrimon takes the crests.
"Oh!"Tai and Joe cried
"You're stuck without these! But I wouldn't worry. Now you've got yourself a
couple of nice Digimon garden ornaments!"Cockatrimon said then laughs
"Oh..."Tai and Joe cried
Back in the dining Room
The three boys and their digimon were battling for their lives.
"Blue Blaster!"Gabumon shouted
"Super Shocker!"Tentomon shouted
"Bubble Blast!"Tokomon cried
"It's your turn!"Cockatrimon replied running into the room
The digimon turned and looked at him.
"Ah!"Digimon replied
"Tetra Fire!"Cockatrimon yelled
"Ah!"The digimon cried as they are turned to stone
TK, Matt, and Izzy cried in alarm when they saw their partners turned into stone.
"They've been turned into rock!"Matt cried
"Impossible!"Izzy replied
"Poor Tokomon!"TK replied
Cockatrimon laughs running down the hall with Joe's and Tai's crest. Once he makes it to the girls room he sees the Numemon looking for them. He then says:
"Where are the other children?"
A Numemon who had stopped looking under the bed when Cockatrimon walked in said:
"Uh, we don't know!"
"Grr. Huh?"Cockatrimon said when he heard water running
"I'd give anything for a good moisturizing shampoo!"Mimi cried
Cockatrimon walked into the bathroom to see the small window open and three puddles of water there.
"Ah! Huh? Ah! You little chickadees think you're sooooooo smart! You won't get away that easily!"Cockatrimon replied
With towels around them Mimi, Sora, Melody, and their digimon ran down the hallway of the cruise ship.
"Ah!"Mimi Sora and Melody cried
Cockatrimon appeared at the end of the hallway.
"Ah!"He cried
"It's Cockatrimon!"Biyomon, Palmon, and Renamon replied
"Is that the Easter chicken?"Sora asked
"Sora now isn't a real good time to pull a Tai joke."Melody replied
"He's bad news!"Biyomon replied
Cockatrimon laughs, and at that moment Mimi noticed something.
"That omelette-head has Tai and Joe's tags!"Mimi said
At the mention of Tai's Crest without the goggle head Melody felt her stomach drop. She had been mad at him all day and hadn't said anything to him, except mean things...now he could be really hurt or in trouble and she hadn't said anything to him.
"I ran into a couple of your friends by the pool. But don't get your heads in a spin. They're just drying off! Nothing like little sun baked faces! Burnt to a crisp with curly crunch spuds and lots of coleslaw!."Cockatrimon replied
"Where are the Digimon?"Renamon commanded
"Don't worry about those guys. Confidentially I find them to be a little bit on the
stiff side, but that just happens to be my personal opinion."Cockatrimon replied
"Your opinion stinks!"Palmon replied
"Now you're about to meet the same fate!"Cockatrimon replied laughing
"You've cackled once too often! Spiral Twister!"Biyomon replied
"Poison Ivy!"Palmon shouted
"Diamond Storm."Renamon shouted
"Tetra Fire!" Cockatrimon shouted
"Ah!"The girls and their digimon yelled as they took off running
"Come back here, you chickens!"Cockatrimon shouted
"Who's he calling chicken?"Sora asked running
"Ah!"The girls cried as they dogged another attack
"Come back!"Cockatrimon shouted
The girls ran till they were at the bow of the boat.
"What do we do now? We're trapped!"Sora cried
Cockatairimon appeared and said:
"Time to walk the plank!"
Melody had enough of this guy.
"Renamon walk all over him!"Melody cried
Renamon smirked and charged at Cockatrimon. Melody's digivice, that was in her hand, started to glow.
"Renamon digivole to...Kiyubimon."
"Biyomon! Do your stuff!"Sora said
"Hmm! Biyomon Digivolve to...Birdramon!"Biyomon shouted
"Hey, that's not fair!"Cockatrimon cried
"Meteor Wing!"Birdramon cried
"Fox Tail Inferno."Kiyubimon yelled
"What's the matter you big cluck, can't you fly?"Sora replied
"You messed with the wrong friends."Melody replied
Cockatairimon dogged the two attacks the best he could.
"Palmon? It's your turn!"Mimi replied
"Hmm! Palmon, Digivolve to...Togemon!"Palmon cried
"Meteor Wing!"Birdramon said
"Ah!"Cockatrimon cried as he dogged the attack throwing the crests away. Melody quickly ran and grabbed them, then ran back to the two girls.
"Needle Spray!"Togemon cried
"Ah!"Cockatrimon cried as the needles hit him
Togemon punches Cockatrimon.
"Ah!"Cockatrimon cried as Kiyubimon slapped him with her tails.
Cockatrimon falls down the smoke stack.
"Fried chicken!"Mimi said
Sora, Melody, and Mimi smiled at each other and then laughed. What the girls didn't know was that the digimon and their friends were turning back to normal.
"Huh?"The digimon replied as they changed back into normal.
"We're outta here!"Numemon yelled
After everyone was clothed and had their belongings they watched the numemon run away.
"I say we do the same as they are and abandon ship!"Tai replied
"I guess it's a little late for a mutiny."Izzy replied
"Don't worry, the captain's already been fricasseed!"Sora replied
The kids quickly ran off the ship then started back walking in the heat.
"Well, the weather sure hasn't gotten any cooler."Joe said
"Oh..."TK replied
Melody who was walking beside TK stopped walking and said:
"Do you hear something?"
Everyone turned around and was shocked to see what they saw.
"Ah!"the kids cried when they saw the ship is chasing them
Cockatairimon laughs as he watches the children run for their lives.
"That's one mad digimon with his feathers out of joint."Matt replied
"Matt less talking more running!"Melody cried
It was then that they see a cactus in front of them.
"The giant cactus is back."Palmon said
"Oh, no! Not another mirage!"Mimi cried
"What were you expecting, an outlet mall?!"Tai said
"Hurry, get over on the other side!"Matt replied
"Ah!"Everyone yelled as they ran around the cactus.
The ship hits the cactus and spring back into the air.
"Oh! I can fly! I can fly! Oh, I can't fly! Ah!"Cockatrimon shouted
The cord of the network is split, and the ship explodes.
" Huh?"The digidestin and their digimon questioned
"Look up there check it out you guys!"Tai replied
Above the cactus, a flower starts to open, and something comes from it.
"Oh!"Everyone cried
"What's that?"Mimi asked
" Maybe it's a crest!"Tai cried
"Oh!"Mimi replied
A crest begins to float in the air.
"Ah! Ah!"Mimi cries
"Woah!"Everyone cried
The crest easily slips into Mimi's Tag.
"Oh! He was right! It's just like Gennai said! The crests and tags somehow work together, Mimi!"Sora replied
"I can't think of another girl other then Sora I would want to work with, besides you Mimi."Melody replied
"Oh! It's the Crest of Sincerity! I don't deserve it, but if it'll help me take care of Palmon, I'll keep it!"Mimi cried
"Aw...thanks, Mimi!"Palmon replied
"But I'm going to have to teach you some manners! Did you know you slurp when you eat soup? But don't worry a single leaf on that pretty little head! Mimi's going to take care..."Mimi replied
Melody sighed.
'One more crest down so that means three down five to go...I bet they will just be harder to find and get.' Melody thought.
