What's wrong with your Divide?!
Faith and Commander Idris cry out, as the both of them chase after a Superior Weapon in the distance. Inside, Grace is seen to try in vain to stop her Superior Weapon from moving, but her attempts are ineffective, as she is powerless to stop it's seemingly random movements.

Stop moving! Dammit! I can't get it to stop moving!
As Grace continues to struggle to stop her Superior Weapon, it is seen attacking both allies and enemies alike in space. Unknown to her, her Superior Weapon has been taken over by Emperor Stanley, whom directly controls her Divide's actions from the safety of Grissom, where here he speaks.
"SCENE TRANSITION"

Hmhmhmhmhm...yes, Grace. Continue to attack both enemy and ally alike, as you need to attract the attention of Bijou and her friends for our future plans to succeed...!
As Emperor Stanley continues to control Grace's Divide from his terminal, some other personnel around him inform him of their latest aqisitions.

Sir. I'm happy to report that Rhapsody Luisant, Sacha Luisant and Georges Luisant have all been taken into our custody by our operatives.

Good. Very good. Were there no witnesses before they were taken?

No, Sir. They were taken discreetly and without arousing any suspicion from any of their allies. All that remains is the aqisition of Susan Pinnacle, Sebastion Luisant and Cesario Luisant-of which for those last two Luisants their aqisition is nearly at hand.

Excellent. Inform me as soon as they have been acquired, and make sure you give me full control over the Divides piloted by their replacement E-AndroIs. Even though they have data based on the skill of Rhapsody and Susan, I'll need to make sure they preform accordingly for our future plans to succeed.

With that, the mysterious woman leaves, leaving Emperor Stanley to continue to control Graces' Divide from his position on Grissom, as the scene then transitions back to Grace.
"SCENE TRANSITION"
Back with Grace, she continues to involuntarily attack both enemy and ally alike, while continuing to desperately stop her machine from attacking anymore. As her efforts continue to fail, eventually two Confederation Superior Weapons come into focus, and their pilots are then reveled to be-

...That Superior Weapon is attacking both it's allies and us at the same time...?

What could it's pilot be thinking? Why attack your own side and us all at once?
The two question why Grace's Superior Weapon is attacking indiscriminately, while also drawing in closer to her at the same time. As they approach, through the eyes of Grace's Superior Weapon, Emperor Stanley is able to identify the paint scheme of both Jhonathan and Charlotte's Superior Weapons, to which he then speaks-

Ah, good. Those two Superior Weapons belong to Jhonathan and Charlotte-two friends of Bijou. They'll make perfect targets to lure in Bijou and Perle, which will then lead to the conclusion that my family is seeking today...!
As Emperor Stanley says this, he forces Graces' Superior Weapon to now abandon it's current targets and concentrate solely on Jhonathan's and Charlotte's Superior Weapons. As this occurs, both notice that they are now in it's sights, as they speak-

Uh oh. Looks like it's spotted us...whatever shall we do, Jhonathan...?

Heh, it's obvious. We need to take care of it, as our reputation as "Ace" pilots hinges on the outcome.
Charlotte Knighthood
Hmhm. You are so predicable. Let's go!
As Charlotte says this, both she and Jhonathan blast forward in their Superior Weapons, as they speed straight towards Grace's attacking Divide.
Back with Grace, she spots two Superior Weapons coming closer to her, and in response, she struggles to contact them-

!...Why are you coming closer to me?! Stay away! I don't want to fight you!
She cries out, as she continues to struggle to try and stop her Superior Weapon from moving-but her efforts are all in vain. As her Divide moves on it's own, a battle soon occurs between her and Jhonathan and Charlotte.
In this battle, both Jhonathan and Charlotte open things up by unleashing a barrage of ranged attacks at Grace, with her easily able to evade all of the incoming beams and missiles. In response to this, Jhonathan decides to move in closer for hand-to-hand combat with Grace, to which he draws his blade and closes the distance between him and Grace. As this occurs, Grace's Divide engages it's own blades and parries Jhonathan's blades perfectly-
"CLACK!"
While parrying Jhonathan's blades, Charlotte circles around to the back of Grace's Divide, hoping to end this battle quickly by slicing off her Divide's arms-however, Grace's Divide is capable of slipping away from this attack from behind by flying upwards. The Divide then swoops downwards, cutting into the bodies of both Jhonathan and Charlotte's Superior Weapons.
Seeing the damage caused by Grace's Divide, both Jhonathan and Charlotte realize that the pilot of the Divide is aiming to kill both of them, to which they speak on-

Tch...that pilot is aiming for the cockpits...

I've noticed. Be careful around this one...
As they say this, both Jhonathan and Charlotte prepare to make another pass at Grace's Divide. However, before they can act, a contact occurs in the form of-

STOP!

Now, two more Divides get in between Jhonathan/Charlotte and Grace, to which Commander Idris's voice is then heard over the comms.
Commander Idris Requiem (comms)
Listen to us, please! Grace is in that Divide and she's not acting like herself! It's almost as if her Divide is acting on it's own!

Upon hearing this, both Jhonathan and Charlotte are surprised to hear this information. However, as this occurs, Emperor Stanley speaks to himself-

Hm...looks like they've figured it out. However, it's not like any of you can stop Grace at this time...!
As Emperor Stanley says this, he engages a kind of device that causes a kind of EMP effect to occur from Grace's Divide. The effect only has an influence on Faith and Commander Idris's Superior Weapons, as neither Jhonathan nor Charlotte's Superior Weapons are affected.
As this occurs, Faith and Commander Idris notice that something is wrong with their Divides, as they speak-

GRK! What the hell...?! I can't move my Divide anymore?!
Commander Idris Requiem
How is this possible?! Who could've done something like this?!
They say, as their Divides are now immobilized and unable to move. They now make the perfect targets for Grace's hijacked Divide, as it prepares to move in for the kill-

As it draws it's weapons, it speeds towards Commander Idris and Faith, who are still unable to move their Superior Weapons. The two notice it coming closer to them, but unable to move, they can do nothing but watch-
"ZOOOOOOOM!"

!...Grace...?!

Why is this...?!
"SMASH!"
Just then, the blades from Grace's Divide impales both Superior Weapons...belonging to Jhonathan and Charlotte. They use their Superior Weapons to knock aside Commander Idris and Faith, whom are shocked to see that they were saved by them.
Inside of both Superior Weapons, both Jhonathan and Charlotte will have paid a price for their quick saving of Commander Idris and Faith, as they will have been wounded by shrapnel to both of their faces and upper bodies, blinding them and causing them to cough up blood.

Coughcough...heh...did we...make it in time...?!

I think so...honey...I didn't hear any explosions outside of our cockpits...so those kids must be safe...

As both faint from their injuries, the blades from Grace's Divide retract, as it looms over Jhonathan's and Charlotte's Superior Weapons. It then raises then up once more, but then, another surprise stops it in it's tracks-
"BEAM FIRE!"
Grace's Divide

Reacting to the incoming beam fire, Grace's Divide backs off from delivering the killing blow to both Jhonathan and Charlotte. As Grace's Divide looks in the direction where the beam fire came from, three Superior Weapons speed into the fray.
Courtney Knighthood
Tch...those two are always causing trouble...
Courtney says, in an irritated tone, as she and her friends speed to the rescue of Jhonathan and Charlotte. She then speaks again-

Stella! Loretta! Go and hold off that Divide for just a few moments!
Loretta Rhazien
Got it!

Got it!
As Courtney says this, both Stella and Loretta break off from her sides and engage in battle with Grace's Divide. By doing so, they move it away from the Superior Weapons belonging to both Jhonathan and Charlotte, which gives Courtney the time to get out of her Divide and check on their status.
However, when she finds them, they are unresponsive, as they have fainted from their injuries already. Courtney speaks from the Divide belonging to her mother-

"GASP!"..MOTHER?!

FATHER?! Can you hear me?!

With both unresponsive, but still alive, Courtney glares back at the battle between her friends and Grace's Divide.

"GLARE"..How dare yo-!
However, just as she does this, to her shock, Grace's Divide is able to disable both Stella and Loretta's Divides-

AUGHHHHHHH!
"EXPLOUSIONS!"
In a shocking display, both Stella and Loretta's Divides are nearly destroyed by Grace's Divide, which slices them to pieces-but spares both the pilots in the same manner as Jhonathan and Charlotte. In response to seeing this, Courtney rushes back to her Divide, but just as she does so-
"STAB!"

Just before Courtney can reactivate her Divide, Grace's Divide rushes towards her and stabs it's blade directly into the cockpit. The blade stops short of slicing into Courtneys' face by just a few inches, which leaves her paralyzed in fear.

...Who is...piloting that Divide...?!
She asks, as the blade continues to stay mere inches away from her face. Then, in a shocking display, the blade once again retracts, sparing her life, as Grace's Divide then looks out towards the distance to see two lights nearby.
Grace's Divide
...!
As Grace's Divide spots these two lights, they gradually come closer and closer. They are then reveled to be the Tyranny ErotiCake and Liberty ErotiCake, and it's here where Perle and Sabrina notice that Courtney, her friends and parents have been defeated by Grace's Divide.

"GASP!"..Are those...!

That's Courtney's Divide over there! And Stella, Loretta, Jhonathan and Charlotte, too!

Looks like we came in the nick of time, as they might not have lasted much longer...!
As Divitiya points this out, suddenly, a voice emerges on the comms.

STOP!

As Commander Idris says this, Faith explains further-

The pilot of that Divide...is Grace!

Upon hearing this, Perle and Sabrina are shocked, as they recall the time that they spent with Grace 3 weeks prior to right now. Chole and Isaac also recall this time they spent with Grace, and are also shocked to hear that she is the person attacking their friends-

Is piloting that Divide and hurting all of our friends...?!
Commander Idris' voice is then heard once more, before his comms cuts out-

Grace's Divide is-"cut comms"
Before Commander Idris can explain further, the comms from his Divide are then cut, as Graces' Divide then moves to attack both the Liberty ErotiCake and Tyranny ErotiCake Mk-IIs. As it does this, both Bijou/her friends and Perle/her friends brace themselves for a fight, as Grace's Divide then speeds towards them-

"ZOOOOOOOM!"
As Grace's Divide speeds towards both Superior Weapons piloted by Bijou and Perle, it locks blades with Perle first. As she struggles to keep it back, inside her cockpit she is seen, saying-

Ngh! What was Idris trying to say to us?!

You can't worry about that right now, Perle!

She's right, Perle. You have to defend yourself.

Alright, I get it!

As Perle says this, she gets serious about defending herself and pushes back Grace's attacking Divide-if only for a moment. As it staggers, Bijou moves in quickly to protect Perle by then engaging against Grace's Divide personally.
"TWACK!"
"CLACK!"
"SMASH!"
As Bijou continues to block and parry the blades coming from Grace's Divide, the two are seen to be nearly evenly matched against each other. As they fly around at rapid speeds and continue to swipe at each other when the moment arises, Perle and her friends are simply left to watch their battle in awe.

...Hm? Perle, look over there.

As Divitiya points out, suddenly a team of RF Superior Weapons happens upon the scene and begins assaulting the Liberty ErotiCake Mk-II. These RF Superior Weapons act in perfect sync with Grace's Divide, which is something that Bijou and her friends notice almost immediately-

Tch...it's almost as if that Divide called those Superior Weapons over here to stop us from helping Perle...

I noticed, honey. Whoever's in control of these guys is cleaver, as it's obvious that they are just puppets...
They say, as Bijou is forced to divert her focus away from Grace's Divide and concentrate on defending herself and her friends from the 50 attacking RF Superior Weapons that just appeared. Despite being technologically superior, the sheer number of RF Superior Weapons is enough to keep Bijou and her friends at bay, while Grace's Divide then reorientates itself to look down at Perle and Sabrina in the Tyranny ErotiCake Mk-II.

Back with Emperor Stanley, he speaks on the situation.

Phew...I guess Bijou and her friends were a little too skilled for Grace's Divide to keep up with. No matter, as what needs to be done now is in my sights...!
As Emperor Stanley says this, he has Grace's Divide move itself to look away from Perle and Sabrina in the Tyranny ErotiCake and look over to where Faith and Commander Idris are immobilized. They are still unable to get their Divides moving, as they are frozen in place by the EMP, which as it looks over at them, it targets Faith's Divide specifically, hinting at a sinister plot.
Perle and Sabrina catch sight of it's gaze, and speak on the matter.

Is her Superior Weapon under the control of someone else?

...! Watch out, you two. It's moving.

Now, Grace's Divide draws it's blades and points them directly at Faith's Divide. The move is shocking to Faith, who spots Grace's Divide pointing it's blades in her Commander direction, which informs her that Grace is truly not in control of her Divide at this time-

"GASP!"...Grace is...she would never attack me of all people!
Commander Idris Requiem
Whoever is in control of her Divide must be forcing her to do this!
Faith Nadir
GRACE! STOP IT!
Faith cries out, as Grace's Divide then speeds towards her Superior Weapon.

"ZOOOOOOM!"

I CAN"T STOP IT!

As Perle and Sabrina spot this, they try to stop Grace's Divide using long range attacks-

Faith is your sister!
They cry out, as they launch several long-range attacks at Grace's Divide. However, it's able to easily evade all of their attacks, as it continues to make it's way closer and closer towards Faith's Divide.
As this occurs, Bijou and her friends in the Liberty ErotiCake are powerless to stop it's advancement, as they continue to battle against many RF Superior Weapons attacking them similar to a swarm of bees. Back in the Tyranny ErotiCake Mk-II, Sabrina and Divitiya press Perle to get in closer to stop Grace's Divide-

Perle! You have to get in closer to stop her!

I...I can't do that! What if I hit the pilot?!
Divitiya Iran
Her Divide is out of control right now. It's unfortunate, but you might have to...you might have to hit the cockpit to stop her from killing her sister...

WHAT?!
Perle says this with shock in her tone, as she continues to struggle to speak-

I...I've never done something like that before, Divitiya...taking another person's life...I can't ever come back from doing something so horrible!
Divitiya Iran
I understand that, Perle, but we don't have the time to argue right now. Grace would never attack her own sister, so the conclusion that we have to accept is that her Divide is out of her control right now. If you don't act, then Faith is going to die.

Faced with this reality, Perle continues to struggle to make her decision, as Grace's Divide continues to zero in closer to Faith's defenseless Divide. Inside, Faith is seen to be scared for her life, as she screams out in fear.

STOP! Whoever is controlling my sisters Divide-STOP IT!
Inside of Grace's Divide, she cries out in fear of what is about to happen-

NOOOOO! Don't make me kill my sister!
With that, time seems to slow down, as in these few seconds a shocking event occurs.
"STAB!"

Now, in a shocking turn of events, a blade from the Tyranny ErotiCake is now seen to have pierced through the side of Grace's cockpit from behind. Perle and Sabrina both engaged the Wings of Light system to speed directly towards Grace's Divide from behind and push their sword directly into the back of Grace's Divide, stopping her mere inches from killing Faith...but at the cost of Grace herself.
However, while on the outside it appears that Grace has been cut into from behind, inside her Divide, it is revealed that she has been absorbed into a kind of metal straightjacket, which wraps around her and protects her from the ensuing explosion-

"EXPLOUSION!"
With that, an explosion occurs from Grace's Divide, which knocks away both Commander Idris and Faith in their own separate Divides. As they are hurled back, they scream out in agony-

GRAAAAAAAACE!

GRAAAAAAAACE!
They cry out, as unbeknownst to them, the metal straightjacket now containing Grace drifts away from the explosion.
Back with Perle and Sabrina, they both have just committed the unthinkable. They have taken their first life. The world around them swirls uncontrollably and in a distorted manner, as they have NEVER once taken the life of another living being...until right now. Their sadness and shock swallows them into a dark abyss that they can never return from, as they lean back in their seats in utter shock at what they've just done.

As Divitiya unbuckles herself from her seat, she leans over to both Perle and Sabrina and sees their faces. Both of them are crying at the crime they've just committed, as killing another living being has left them in utter shock.

Faced with this, Divitiya is left unsure of what to say to both girls, as elsewhere, the RF Superior Weapons that were attacking Bijou and her friends in the Liberty ErotiCake Mk-II back off and fly away into the distance. As they go, Bijou and her friends discuss the oddity in their actions-

...Why? Why make Perle and Sabrina commit such a tragedy onto Faith and Idris...?

Whoever did this is a cruel individual indeed...
They say, as they look over towards the Tyranny ErotiCake and wonder how their children are handling what they just did.
Back inside of the Tyranny ErotiCake, both Perle and Sabrina continue to weep uncontrollably, as they soon hear the cries of Commander Idris and Faith on the comms.

"CRYING!"..Grace.."CRYING!"
Commander Idris Requiem (comms)
...Who?! ...Who would force Grace to do something like this...?!
Commander Idris says over the comms, as Divitiya then asks him a question-

...Idris? Do you really think Grace's Divide was under the control of someone else...?

Of course! There's no other explanation as to why Grace would do what she did! Attacking our allies and all of you at the same time...it's just not like her to do something like this by her own volition!

Sensing the hate that Commander Idris is feeling, Divitiya doesn't reply, as inside of his Divide, he too is seen to cry at the "death" of Grace.

..."crying!"...
Then, all of a sudden, a round of applause can be heard over the comms-

"HANDS CLAPPING!"

Now, it is reveled that the hand clapping is coming from two RF Superior Weapons that have landed on a piece of destroyed ship. These two RF Superior Weapons belong to none other than-

As both Howard and Susan are revealed in their separate Superior Weapons, they speak.

...Wonderful. Now that Grace has been killed, I can deliver Faith to the Confederation-just like my mother and I agreed upon...!
As Howard says this over the comms, he will sneer sinisterly, hinting that he already knows the impact this will have on Faith's future actions. True to his intelligence, Faith slowly starts to move in her seat, as she then speaks-

...You...you monster! You two will NEVER acknowledge Grace was my sister-even in her death?!
Susan Pinnacle (comms)
That is correct, my sole child. We are in need of your service to the Pinnacle family, so we'll be taking you with us now...!
Sensing something approaching, Susan will turn her Divide to see an approaching Superior Weapon coming closer to Howard. As it approaches, the voice of a familiar person comes over the comms-
Rhapsody Luisant?
Howard! Don't think I'll let you off the hook by saying that!

In an instant, Rhapsody's Divide now lunges towards Howard with a blade in hand, to which just before it pierces through Howard's cockpit, he instinctively engages one of his own blades and swings it at Rhapsody's Divide-
"SMASH!"

Seconds later after the impact, Bijou and her friends bare witness to a horrific scene. Howard's blade now has punched cleanly through the surface of Rhapsody's cockpit, to which as his Divide backs off, the voice of Rhapsody comes over the comms.

...Bijou...never forgive Howard for this...
"EXPLOUSION!"

MOTHER!
Bijou cries out, as another explosion occurs, seemingly killing Rhapsody in the process in front of Bijou and her friends. As this occurs, Bijou is also left in utter shock at what just occurred, as just like with Perle, she cries openly for her mother.

...mother...why...why did this have to happen..."crying"...?!
Back with Howard, he is now seen to be in utter shock at what he had to do. He speaks-

...Why, Rhapsody? I thought you left the battlefield already after we settled on a draw...

...Howard...!
Now sensing something, Susan turns her Superior Weapon to see the Liberty ErotiCake Mk-II charging it's Liberty Blaster Mk-II. As it does, Bijou says-

Don't move, Susan...!
"LIBERTY BLASTER FIRING!"
Just as she says this, Bijou fires a blast of energy directly towards Susan's Divide. Though she is highly experienced, in these few seconds her Superior Weapon locks up much like Commander Idris and Faith's Superior Weapons, and just like with Grace, a metal straightjacket envelops Susan and moves her away from the impact zone of the Liberty Blaster.
Moments later, the blast from the Liberty Blaster cuts cleanly through the cockpit of Susan's Divide, seemingly killing her as well, and causing another explosion to occur-
"EXPLOUSION!"

?!
Howard, still caught off guard at him seemingly killing Rhapsody, will become shocked momentarily to see Susan being seemingly killed by Bijou. In response, he recalls a flashback scene where he was talking with Stanley over creating clones of Susan-
FLASHBACK
Emperor Stanley Wilber
...Howard. Are you sure you want us to create clones of Susan...?
Howard Pinnacle
Yes. For the past 19 years, I have been married to Susan-even after that horrible incident of her being assaulted by those men. I've kept this a secret from her all these years, but I want to believe that your work in this cloning business will allow for me to create a new wife-one that is pure and free of any impurities.
Emperor Stanley Wilber
But still...you are willing to abandon Susan as she currently is...all for the sake of a "perfect" clone. How would she react if she were to learn of your deepest feelings...?
Howard Pinnacle
She will never know, as this conversation will be kept strictly between us. I know that you can use this blood vial of hers for cloning, so I'll trust that you can make my fantasies a reality.
As Howard says this, he presents a red vial of blood to Emperor Stanley. Though reluctant, Emperor Stanley does take the vial and then leaves off by saying-

As Emperor Stanley says this, he hints that he has his own intentions for using Susan's blood for cloning, as simply creating a "pure" version of Susan is child's play to him. He'll want to mass produce Susan in large quantities, while making sure not to tell Howard his true intentions, as Howard then says-

After this flashback is revealed, Howard looks at the wreckage of his wife's Divide solemnly, but slowly his face looks more morbid than usual. Though subtle, he does feel some sympathy for his wife that was just seemingly killed by Bijou, as he looks back at the Liberty ErotiCake with a fierce gaze.

And back with Bijou, her friends can do nothing for her, as she continues to cry for her murdered mother. Chole and Isaac take issue with her darkening mood, while Noah takes control of the Liberty ErotiCake Mk-II.
Elsewhere, Divitiya does the same for the Tyranny ErotiCake, as just then, several lights emerge from several Confederation ships holding their positions near Schirra.

Everyone knows immediately what these lights mean, as they signal an immediate end to all conflicts in the area. As both sides withdraw from their respective battle zones, slowly the Confederation amasses it's forces around the planet Schirra and brings back with them Bijou, Perle and all of their friends. Upon reading the list, several names are highlighted that cause Chairwoman Francoise's face to become pale. Before her, the names of Rhapsody, Sacha, Georges, Sebastion and Cesario are mentioned to have been killed in action, which will sadden her greatly. Despite her deep loss, she will still have a duty to preform, so she will hide her emotions and prepare for the future. Though the battle is over, the war between the Ascension and Confederation will continue, as several days will then pass by...

Back on Grissom, the now home planet of the Ascension, the Two Queens are seen addressing their people through a new proclamation. As they speak, they say-

With that, the gears are set into motion for the AF to continue building up their military to fight against the Confederation. As this occurs, Emperor Stanley moves forward with many personal projects that he's working on, as back in the Confederation, the four leaders will also work towards their own personal projects.
As this occurs, time will move on by 15 years, as the chapter then ends.
