In another time and place many hearts were in turmoil, and as the rain hit many souls remember.

Inuyasha kneeling at his mother's grave had a painful look on his face. How long since he's seen his mother smiling at him, her laughs and gentle hands holding him. He didn't care that his shirt was soaking wet, after all, who would dare to disturb him or see him in his helpless stage.

" Everything isn't the same after you left," he says, recalling his mother's demise when he was 9 years old.

He recollected his mother dying from an illness the humans have been receiving. On her dying bed, she beamed at him and told him to stay strong and to never forget his worth. He remembers sobbing and his father squeezing his shoulder to comfort him.

Inuyasha asked him to resurrect her, but his father only said he cannot undo what fate has already planned for her. He can't bring the dead to life, only God can. hearing this Inuyasha cried even harder. He yells and tells him, why he can't try, would he have done it if it was Sesshomaru's mother.

When he said this, Toga raised his hand, but then held himself back out of respect for his wife who just passed.

Looking at the sky, Inuyasha stood up. He recalls a few weeks after his mother's funeral, how his father told him he was packing up to go and live with his master to get stronger. Inuyasha refused to leave, saying he wanted to stay near his grave. Toga hook him and told him, his comfort is gone, where will he get his strength to fight the world. They will pick on his defenselessness until his death.

Without looking at him, he told Inuyasha his master is waiting for him outside before turning to leave.

I was scared on a long, long night

Inuyasha, looking forward, turns to leave once more and promises to visit again. While leaving he saw a wolf figure leaving as well, but before he left he heard his cry. Walking away he saw a familiar figure on the outskirts of the field. He growls seeing her but stops when he sees her crying while sitting beside a tree.

Inuyasha was puzzled, wondering why someone as cold as her could look so weak, and just like him, she was looking at the sky but with tears in her eyes. He was compelled to go to her to ask if she was ok, after all, he is part human as well.

I was praying for a distant star

遠い星に 祈ってた

In the time of going around

めぐるめぐる時の中で

Kikyo in her thought heard approaching footsteps. She looks ahead to see the hanyou she loathed. Quickly wiping her tears she grabs her bow from her back " are you here to fight me demon"

Inuyasha scoffed " if I wanted to fight today, I would have attacked when you were in tears and cut your throat"

Kikyou's eyes widen before looking stern at him " you have a lot of confidence for a half breed"

Inuyasha, still not removing his sword, turns to leave " and here I thought you were like me, but I guess I was wrong"

" I would never be like your kind you demon" she sprouts. She watches as he turns his back and walks away from her before she sighs. She wasn't stupid to attack someone who wasn't willing to fight.

Just for today, she will let it go, but tomorrow she will begin her mission. Looking one last time at the hanyou, she puts her bow down and sighs " I miss you so much" she mumbles.

Koga, watching, heard a voice asking why he was not coming back home. Why is he always watching after the dog boy? He responded by saying "because their friends, and right now he needs a lot of help"

Toga looking at the mirror saw his wife approaching he knew she was worried for their son. I mean who wouldn't after they felt powerful energy coming from him before leaving his body. He didn't know how that was possible when he can't even access his power since it was gone he had no choice but to ask his wife.

He asked his wife, Kimi, if she knew what was happening. Even though she didn't know, he decided to illustrate to his wife what had happened and recommended that she ask her lord. Kimi rapidly rejected that idea. She had even denied helping her son when he was in danger three days ago.

Knowing this troubled toga a lot, he wondered if Kimi didn't save their son, then who did?

Looking back at his wife, he wondered how things became so complicated. Why did she leave them when She knew she would miss her son? Sure he fell for the princess's beauty, but he never aimed to breed her, his beast was in heat, and the princess happened to be swimming at his favorite spot.

Toga, gazing at his first love pacing back and forth, wonders through the years why her heart became so cold towards him when she was the one who decided on leaving.

Kagome unconsciously recalled her father picking her up from school; he decided to take her to the park after being upset. While playing he got a call and told Kagome to hold on before turning away from her. sliding, she felt a shake. Timid, she ran to her father.

Her father, feeling the shake, promptly hung up and whirled, fearing for his daughter. He moved to grab her hand when the surface split. Kagome's eyes widened when her father started wobbling, before falling to the ground. She wailed for him, and he told her to calm down. She shut her eyes as her father instructed and breathed out.

When she opened her eyes she saw the rails holding the swings fall and landed on him. Her big eyes enlarged, before crying out.

Every Heart sleeps happily

Sesshomaru landing saw a building in ruins. He saw news correspondents' video recordings and ambulances. He didn't care for them, his objective was to find Kagome. He passed by them and strolled further in until he sighted a hair. Still having no control over his body He raised his arm and felt something tingling. Seeing what it was, he tried to take control of his body, but still no luck.

He saw what looked like a white whip appearing before he swerved it, eradicating the things concealing Kagome. It didn't take long before he hoisted her up and took her away from the building.

Sesshomaru enters her house and puts her on the bed before his body stops working, and falls beside her.
