Hello Guys, Sorry I was away for so long I was getting around to writing this chapter but I went on vacation for two weeks before I could finish it. So to keep you from waiting I give you this short chapter before I write the other one. I hope you like it :)
A few weeks have passed since the Sled incident, Agent G aka Goody was starting to get the hang of being an agent. Unfortunately for them, almost dying from The Ski Hill's rocks and snow has caused them to be paranoid about going sledding. Fortunately for them, they have an awesome brother who is willing to help them out during these trying times using some relaxing exposure therapy.
"FOR THE LAST DAMN TIME YOU CAN'T MAKE ME GO DOWN THAT CURSED HILL!" Shouted Goody was currently fighting their brother from pushing them down the hill.
" You seriously need to chill penguins are starting to look at us," Pi replies as he waved at some of the onlookers observing the siblings.
"Well maybe they wouldn't be looking if someone wasn't trying to push me against my will!" said Goody glaring at their brother.
"Hey, you told me you were thinking about getting over your sledding fear so here I am. Helping YOU get over that accident so that we can have fun sledding again" he says. Goody crawls out of Pi's grasp and backs off the edge of the hill staring down at the bottom. Their vision started to contort the sled piste making it seem longer and jagged than it really was. They shuddered and shook their head aggressively, refusing to my any further contact with the bottom.
"Today…is just not the day. You go ahead and just sled without me alright?" said Goody as they turned around to hitch a ride down the ski lift.
'Perhaps tomorrow would be their day' they thought to themselves as they waddled over to the Sports Shop so that they could just hide at HQ. On their way over to the secret entrance, they bump into Gary who was too busy staring at his spy phone to notice his surroundings (classic).
"Oh! My apologies agent I was too preoccupied to notice your presence," says Gary as he tucked away his spy phone in his lab coat.
"It's fine G. Honestly I just came by to just escape from the ski hill…again," they said as they set foot into HQ.
"Hm still trying to give sledding the Old college try? Agent, there is no rush in trying to overcome Bathmophobia," says Gary putting his flipper on their shoulder. Goody snorts a bit slowly removing Gary's flipper from their shoulder.
"Uh no G I'm not afraid of baths or hills or whatever fancy word you throw at me. I'm…just simply being more cautious around the ski hill so that I don't fall," said Goody as they sit down on the computer chair and face the monitors.
"Besides checking the I.S.E.E.U. is far more interesting and beneficial for an agent like ME than some silly activity like sledding. Far more useful…." Goody mutters the last part under their breath. Gary simply just shook his head from his coworker's denial before receiving a call from his spy phone.
"Hold that thought Agent…G speaking!" Goody stared at their superior who was silently listening to whoever has called him.
"Hm…Understood. I'll let them know right away," He says before hanging up and putting his phone away.
"So Good news you have a new assignment to distract you with your sledding problem. The bad news is that the Gift Shop has been robbed," said Gary. Goody felt like they needed to do a double-take on what they've been told.
"Robbed? Who in their right mind would want to steal from the Gift shop?" they ask.
"That's what we are trying to figure out. We currently have a new recruit on the scene at the moment but The Director themselves feel that he could use some encouragement from a fellow new member. Do you think you can handle it?" Gary asks. Goody responds with a simple salute "I won't let you down G!" As they quickly waddled to the scene of the crime.
" I suppose teleporting is another phobia we need to discuss," Gary comments as he sits down on the chair to check the security cameras.
Bathmophobia basically means a fear of stairs and or slopes which I felt fitted with the situation. See you guys in the next chapter :)
