Musutafu Hospital (Morning)
Dominic woke up in an odd location. The first thing he noticed after opening his eyes was bright florescent light. Once his sight adjusted, he was able to make out more details. He was in a hospital bed, and was in a gown as well. Several tubes were injected into his skin, though none had any fluids in them. Most likely due to being too close to his body. He looked out a nearby window to see a blue sky, telling him the plan worked. 'For how long remains to be seen.' he told himself as he tore the syringes from his body. He then left the bed and stood up, swapping his hospital gown for his normal attire.
'Let's see the damage.' he said in his head while conducting a psuedo-MRI on himself with Earth Magic. His heart was beating. Good. No visible broken bones. Good. His brain wasn't a puddle of jelly. Good.
As for everything else, things were pretty bad. His lungs were torn to shreds, the right side of his skull was fractured, and to top it all off, he was hungry. "Time to see if this world has an Everymart." he said as he walked out of the room.
It became clear to him that this place didn't follow the same rules as Frammentato as soon as he laid eye(s) on one of the doctors. They didn't have a magical signature, but still had an Elemental Affinity. It was fascinating to witness for him. Even back on Remnant, where only a handful of people could use Magic, every living being had a magic signature. But, then again, he knew each Universe had different rules.
Especially his own.
His eye glowed red as he tried to think of where his teammates might be. After what happened with the evacuation, there wasn't a lot of hope that they were even alive. But he still held on. If he managed to get out without any fatal injuries, there was a chance his friends did as well. But without knowing where they are, he had no way of being sure.
His thoughts were cut off by the overwhelming sound of shattering glass. 'What in the Super Nut?' he asked himself, running to the room where the sound originated from. And it wasn't a good place. He was led straight to the Emergency Room, but there was something off about it. Oh, yeah. There was a GODDAMN GIANT BUFF BLONDE MAN STRANGLING ONE OF THE NURSES!
Naturally, Dominic acted in the same way anyone else would. He antagonized the Hulk cosplayer. "YO, DIPSHEEP!" he yelled, gaining the man's attention. He threw the nurse to the side, where she was quickly tended to by her coworkers. 'Good.' "So, did you come in here for a checkup? Or are you just salty that they won't accept your insurance?" the younger blonde taunted, prompting the large villain to approach.
"You sure got some balls on ya, kid. Who are you?" the man asked.
"It would be my utmost pleasure to tell you." Dominic said with a grin. "Dominic Xiao-Long, the Mountain King! My reign is known on a scale no normal human could possibly comprehend!" he proclaimed, a spotlight shining on him from above. Though, there was nothing there that would cause this effect. "And you happen to be something that threatens that reign. So, if you don't mind..." His eye started glowing red after those words. "PLEASE GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!" he yelled as he slammed his palms into the floor, manipulating the Earth Element to transmute the ground into sand, then treating like a glorified treadmill to push his opponent out of the building.
"Now this is interesting." the man said, spitting sand out of his mouth.
Dominic then stepped out of the broken glass doors before turning to the patients and doctors still in the hospital. 'I can't use pyromancy while I'm near this place. The oxygen tanks would ignite, killing several innocents. I need to lure this putz further away before I can actually get serious.' He glared at the villain, who walked toward him slowly with a manic smile. "Okay, then. I'll play your game."
Without warning, stone spikes jutted out from the ground and pierced the villain's legs. Dominic then used Time Break to halt his opponent's movements before delivering a massive explosive punch to the abdomen, launching the man into the air. When time resumed, he fell into a city street over a mile away from the hospital.
'What the hell just happened!?' the villain wondered, confused. 'I was going to punch that smug look off his face, then next thing I know I'm falling out of the sky! What kind of Quirk does this brat have!?' Angered, the villain activated his Quirk and grew bigger, his muscles beginning to tear through his skin. After all, he was Muscular!
Meanwhile, Dominic held his arm in pain. His skin was flaking off like dirt, revealing the magma and volcanic rock that made up his inner biology. 'Looks like I'm still recovering. I can't afford to expend too much of my magic, or I'll pass out again.' With his eye glowing red, he started running toward Muscular. 'Let's just hope it doesn't come to that.'
Unknown to both him and Muscular, there was someone else watching these events unfold. Someone with glowing green eyes. "Found you, partner." he said as he vanished in a cloud of black smoke.
