34. Chapter 34

Hey everyone, sorry for not updating quick its just that one of my pets died today and I really just wanted to crawl into a corner and cry my heart out but I thought that it wouldn't be fair to you guys if I just didn't update. So here is the next chapter...

CHAPTER 34

PIERS POV

I just couldn't believe what I just herd from my captin...I-I have to go on a 4 month mission.

Chris: "Whats wrong?"

Piers: "What about Claire..."

Chris: "Well, she seems to have forget about Steve so your job is done."

Jill: "I know this is hard but your going to have to let her go, this mission is going to help the Earth. Your relationship with her hasn't even gone that far but I'm sure you will have some kind of place in her heart."

Piers: "Alright...when do I leave?"

Chris: "In two days, get packed up."

Piers: "Yes sir."

CHRIS POV

I watched as Piers left the room. I knew that I had to break the news to Claire to I walked out of the room behind him and left to go to my house, where Claire was.

CHRIS'S HOUSE

Chris: "Hey Claire, I'm home!"

I could hear Claire running down the stairs really fast.

Claire: "Hey."

Chris: "Listen Claire, I need to tell you something about Piers."

Claire: "Ok?"

Chris: "He is leaving on a mission tomarrow."

Claire: "Ok? I don't see where your going with this."

Chris: "Its a 4 month mission."

Claire: "Oh...I think I'm going to...to go take a nap upstairs."

I could see her eyes fill with tears as I watched her walk up the stairs and into her room. God I felt bad, I really tried to stop him from going to the mission but my higher up's needed him on this mission. Maybe I shouldn't have started this whole 'plan'. Jill was right, I shouldn't have gotten into Claires love life because in the end I just messed it up again...ME AND MY STUPID PLANS, I should always ignore any plans that come to mind...

CLAIRE POV

I walked into my room and closed the door. I couldn't breathe...I didn't like the thought of being away from him for 4 months...I slowly started to release the tears that I had been trying to keep in. I got on to my bed, pulled the covers over me, and cried myself to sleep...
