"Luca, if you don't sit still, I'll get sunscreen in your eyes and that's not good. You won't be able to watch Power Rangers for a while." I warns.

The sun was out, the beach was almost full with people, some laying on their blankets, some in their beach chairs, some were swimming. Lisa had offered to book a private beach for the family but I thinks it's a perfect opportunity for Luca and Lily to mix well, interact, with other children.

Luca had on a bright green trunk, he was already itching to play in the sand, in the water, with his siblings and with me and Lisa.

Once I was done, Luca runs over to Lily and they start shoveling sand into their buckets. Lily had on a tie dye swim suit and sandals.

Lego was lounging on his chair, sunglasses on as he just watched everyone. He still had a day to go before he could get his gadgets and books back, so he had nothing to keep him company. Unlike Kuma who had actually brought a book with him. Attachments by Rainbow Rowell.

"Do I want to know what you're reading?"

"It's about two women who talk through email at their work. I'm still in the fifth chapter but it's really good."

"I'm dying here and you're reading that? I bet Nicole is making you." Lego calls from where he was lounging. I simply just raised a brow at Kuma whose cheeks turn red. Huh.

I smacks Lego's arm, earning a cry from him. "Don't be mean to your brother or I'll add two more days to your punishment."

"Mom!" Lego tears off his sunglasses as he stared at me with a pout on his face.

"Don't look at me that way."

"But..."

I narrowed my eyes at him, who just huffs and falls back onto his chair, pulling the sunglasses back down on his face. I look back at Lily and Luca and finds a child with them. The three of them building what has to be the best castle I has ever seen. I am not biased.

"Here we go." Lisa says, holding a large bag. She starts to take out chilled bottles of pepsi, handing it off to Lego, Kuma and me while she settles with a chilled can of cherry coke.

Lisa had on just a pair of black sports bra with trunks, she tied her hair at the back, Her skin smooth, abs, her legs, her smile and that bright glint in her eyes that made me want to kiss her.

The boys chorus their thank you and so I does.

"Dada see!" Luca screams, motioning at the castle in front of him. Lisa cheers and raised her two thumbs up at her son.

Lily runs over to Lisa and takes a sip of her drink and then over to me and took a sip of my drink too before going back to join her little brother.

"She's going to spend so much time in the toilet, isn't she?" Kuma teases and Lisa and I laugh.

"You leave your sister alone."

"What? Kuku was just saying the truth." Lego pipes up from his spot. I just rolls my eyes at my children and goes back to watching Lily and Luca. Me and Lisa had pressed our chairs together so we were touching. Well, at least our elbows and legs were. I'm wearing my red bikini.

"Did you put your sunscreen on?" Lisa asks.

"Yeah. Lego helped." I replies as I slips on my sunglasses.

"I packed a couple sandwiches, chips and kebabs. I wasn't sure what else to add."

I chuckles as I turns to her. "You could have called me."

Lisa pouts. "I wanted it to do it. It was my idea for us to come here anyway." She said. She reached out and took my hand in her, our fingers intertwined. She raised our locked hands to her lips and pressed kisses over it, loving the way I softly giggles.

"Thank you though, for doing this. For today." I says, her cheeks heating up. Turning a lovely shade of red.

"Don't thank me. It's what I should do. I love them and y- I like you very much, spending time like this with you five makes me happy." Lisa looks down at our fingers and squeezed a bit. "I missed this. Spending time with you five."

Kuma looks up from his book while Lego looks over at us but we don't care we were talking softly while staring at each other.

"I am going to try my fucking best to not mess up again." She says. I cup her cheek with free hand and closes the distance between our lips. It was a soft press of lips that leads to something a bit harder with Lisa pullingme closer.

I saw in my peripheral view Kuma and Lego quickly look away, the two of them going back to what they were doing.

"Even after twenty two years you stil make my heart go crazy." I admits, quietly when we pull apart, our forehead pressed against each other.

"Even after twenty years, I am still madly in l-" Lisa takes a deep breath, chuckling a bit as she angled her head down so I could let it out.

I understands. After all, I was the one who told Lisa she didn't want to hear the 'I Love You' word until I was sure I wanted to hear it. We haven't been dating for long and we had our first meeting with the counselor Vanessa had set them up with, on Sunday. Scratch that, tomorrow.

We aren't anywhere near where we need to be but I knows what I want, Lisa had also said what she wants. We were on the same page. It wouldn't be fair to Lisa.

I was in love with her. Always has been but I isn't ready to say it again. It wouldn't be fair to Lisa if I was the only one saying it.

I steals a kiss from her before pulling apart, ready to relax in my chair when I notices Luca about to put a handful of sand in his mouth.

"LUCA JULES MANOBAN! DON'T DARE PUT THAT IN YOUR MOUTH!"

Luca freezes and turns to me, his hand stopped halfway to his mouth. Lily was snickering, so we're his brother. Lisa rushes over to our child and smacks the sand away from his hand.

I moves closer and asks him. "Why were you about to put that in your mouth?"

"Lily said the sand had salt. I wanted to taste it."

I ran a hand down his face, turning to glare at Lego who was openly laughing.

"Bunny, we don't taste sand." Lisa scolds Luca.

"Lily you should know better than that." I chastised her who sighs and looks down, a small pot beginning to form on her lips. The other child with them also managed to look like me was reprimanding her also.

"Fine. Play for a few more minutes and then come and get your snacks, okay?"

"Okay." They chorus.

"No sand." Lisa repeats, looking right at Luca.

"No sand." Luca agree.

Me and Lisa go back to our seats. I grabs the cooler, pulls it open and takes it four sandwiches, handing two each to Lego and Kuma.

"Mom, I'm bored."

"Go play in the water." I instantly replies.

"I don't want to yet. I want to do something. Anything." Lego dramatically sighs. Kuma smacks his brother with his book while I looked through the small duffel I brought. I takes out a rubik's cube.

"Here." I says and then tosses it to Lego who catches it.

"Really? Can't I have your kindle or something?"

Lisa gives Lego a droll look that mirrors me. "Do you want me to take it back? You looked like you enjoyed watching other people have fun."

"That is just cruel." Lego says with a shake of the head.

We all laughed at Lego who begins to twist and turn the cube. It takes a couple minutes for Luca and Lily to come get their snacks. Afterwards, we all join them to build a castle, Kuma and Lego included. It goes up from there.

We go from building castles me and Lisa dragging both Kuma and Lego to the water with Luca and Lily running alongside of us.

"Nooo! Dadaaaaaaa..." Lego whines as he's dragged to the water. It's the shock from the title that makes Lisa literally drop him into the water.

I had also heard it. Lego has screamed it out loud just as she pushed Kuma into the water. I gives Lisa a big smile when she turns towards me, the little ones playing by our sides. Not getting into the water, the two of them running away whenever the tide comes in.

"Did you hear that?" Lisa asked, her words coming out shaky.

"I did."

I says moving closer to her. I places one hand on Lisa's shoulder and squeezed.

"He hasn't called me that in years."

"I know." I replies, not letting it slip that Lego had actually called her that a while ago when they were talking.

"I think I'm going to cry." Lisa says, letting out a wet laugh. Before I could reply, Lisa had ran right into the water, tackling Lego down. I laughs loudly when Lego lets out a wail, his hands flailing around.

"Mom get in!"

"Someone has to stay with the little ones!" I calls out.

Kuma comes out and quickly runs towards where we set up he grabs the big floater and tells me he's going to find a pump. I laughs with Luca and Lily as we touched the water with their feet. Luca taking a big delight in running away whenever a wave hit.

I also watched Lisa and Lego splash about in the water, Lego raising both hands in victory whenever he dunked Lisa into the water. I shakes my head fondly at them.

Kuma appears with the floater all done up, I help put the little ones into it while Kuma pushes it into the water. Lily screaming happily.

I keeps an eye out on the little water as I made my way towards Lego and Lisa. I closes in quietly, shooting Lego a look over Lisa's shoulder. Together we both tugged Lisa into the water, Lego letting out a loud cheer.

"You two are going to regret that." Lisa huffs when she got out of the water, her hand wiping the water away from her face.

"Bring it on, Priya."

Lisa scrunched up her nose. "Don't call me that."

I stuck my tongue out at her who immediately starts swimming towards me. I chooses to make my way over to Lego who was laughing maniacally, he doesn't notice me using him as a shield. I moves fast enough that I escapes being pushed into the water. Instead of dragging me in, Lisa had dragged Lego instead.

I laughs. I laughs so hard, I would have peed a little if I hadn't been careful. Kuma was also laughing, so were the little ones. Lego sputters when he comes back up, the most betrayed look on his face. He glared at us before making his way over to Kuma where he was safe. Lisa makes her way over to me I wraps my arms round her neck.

"You look absolutely lovely when you laugh."

"I love it when you make me laugh." I replies. "I can't remember when last I laughed this much."

Lisa pressed a kiss to my nose and my cheek and final one to my forehead before pulling back. "I love making you laugh."

"You are...so sweet and silly and wonderful." I confesses, shivering a bit when Lisa pulls me close, one hand sliding down to my ass.

"I could say the same about you. You are so much more than that though. You are the apple of my eyes. You make me so happy just by being you."

I breath hitched and I pressed even closer. I looked right at Lisa. "Kiss me. Please kiss me."

"who was I to say no to that?"
