Ginny ran her fingers through Sirius' hair.
"You know, they're going to come looking for us eventually," she commented, laying back down on the grass.
"Of course they are, Red. They care about you."
"Wish they didn't, care so much I mean. Maybe I just want to spend the day laying here in the grass with you, letting the bugs crawl all over us," she laughed, brushing a grasshopper off her jumper.
"Or, we could head back to the Burrow, make our little appearance, sneak up the stairs-"
"And fulfill my fantasy of taking you in my childhood bed?" Ginny asked, sitting up. A cricket jumped off her shoulder disappearing into the grass.
"Great idea, so glad you suggested it!" Sirius exclaimed. Ginny laughed, letting out a happy sounding sigh.
"You're incorrigible," she stated, leaning over to kiss his cheek. He turned his head and she ended up kissing his lips instead.
"I know I am, but that's one of the reasons you love me, Red."
"And what are the others?" Ginny teased
"Let's see, there's my charming wit, my impeccable fashion sense, that fact I can make you make noises in bed that-"
"Yeah, yeah, all of those. You're right, though, we should head back. Mum's probably about to send out a search party. I mean, we could stay here in this field, wait for them, maybe lose a few articles of clothing," Ginny suggested.
"As much as I'd love to greet any search party your mum sends out in the nude, I think your brothers might hang me if we did that. "
"Killjoy," Ginny laughed, rising to her feet. She offered Sirius her hand, he yanked her back down into his lap, kissing her.
"Really should get going," she tried to protest weakly,kissing Sirius back.
"Ginny! You out here?"
"See, search party," she stated. Sirius gave her another kiss before pushing Ginny to her feet and joining her.
"I'm coming, Bill, just a minute!"
"Mum's looking for you. Put your clothing back on and come set the table!"
"Think we should tell him we weren't?"
"Nah, come on, race you," Sirius exclaimed, darting off towards the Burrow with Ginny following hot on his tail.
