In Jeremie's room, he was working on his computer, as usual, when he gets a call from Odd.
"What is it now, Odd?" Jeremie asked.
"Yumi and Aelita bet they could wipe us out in foosball, so Ulrich and I are gonna teach em a lesson. Wanna watch?" Odd asked.
"How many times do I have to tell you that I'm currently working on the Nav Skid reinforcement program? I can't pull away." Jeremie said.
"Relax Einstein, we were just thinking you'd like a front row seat to watch, we weren't gonna make you play." Odd said. "You should come join us. Take a little break."
"Reinforcing the Skid is slightly more important than foosball." Jeremie said, hanging up. "If that guy calls again, I'm gonna break his neck."
"That's a bit harsh, don't you think?" A voice said as Jeremie turned to see Simon along with another boy standing next to him.
"Patrick?" Jeremie said.
"He's being enrolled on your parents' recommendation." Simon said. "And he'll be sharing your room with you until an extra one is found." he said as the school groups and Lyoko Warriors arrived. "Hey guys."
"Hey, we got the camping bed for Patrick." Ethox said. "It'll be a bit packed with Pit and Jeremie, Patrick. Sorry about that."
"It's cool, Ethox. I appreciate it." Patrick said. "By the way, it's nice to meet you guys."
"Likewise, Patrick. I have a feeling we'll get along well." David said.
"Same. I heard you've got a band. Love to hear your covers." Patrick said.
"Oh, trust me. You'll be hearing quite a bit of it soon." David said.
"That's great, but for right now, everybody out." Jeremie insisted. "My report on the Vikings?"
"Okay, we know when we are not wanted. C'mon guys, table's getting cold." Kaibara said as the others left.
"Is something wrong, Jeremie? You seem pretty agitated." David said.
"It's because I know my cousin." Jeremie said. "He tries to act super cool to make me look bad. It was like that at summer camp, Patrick would steal all my friends and act like I didn't exist."
"Somehow, I find that a little hard to believe." David said. "I mean, the least you could do is give him a chance to explain himself."
"Are you blind, David?" Jeremie asked. "Can't you see that he's doing the same thing he did at camp right now?"
"He's just trying to make some friends in a new school. There's nothing wrong with that, right?" David asked. "I mean, I know I have more than my fair share of rivalries back home, but whatever you have against Patrick, I think you might be taking it a little too far."
"Think what you want. Go ahead to the rec room, I've still got Skid work to do." Jeremie said.
David sighed. "Suit yourself." he said as he headed out.
"Honestly, there are some things I would like to…" Jeremie said as his computer detected something. "Aha!"
Jremie called up the team on the Galaxy King. Connor was the one to answer.
"Yeah?" Connor asked.
"I've detected a new Replika. I'll notify everyone here at school. Can you let everyone else where you are know?" Jeremie said.
"Sure. We'll fire up the Digimon Storage portal and get ready on our end." Connor said, hanging up. "Yo! New Replika alert, guys!"
"Give me a minute, I'm checking the progress of Harpuia's maintenance." Mari said.
"You're still doing that? Wasn't the assassin's battle months ago?" Saeba asked.
"Harpuia took a LOT of damage when he fought Dragonfly." Mari said. "The damage was much worse than what Leviathan went through when Muscular fought her."
"Heck, I took a full-powered blow from All for One and I'm still standing. Though, it did take a few days to fix me up." Fulgore said.
"Though I can assure you all, he will make a full recovery very soon." Mari said.
"Great to hear. Jeremie's rounding up everybody at Kadic. Let's figure out who's gonna go with the Lyoko gang in the Skid, there's only one extra seat." Connor said.
"I don't think he's rounding up everyone." Riju said.
"Yes. After all, the Skid only has five seats. He couldn't possibly take everyone to a Replika." Revali said.
"Besides, the Digimon Storage Portal will teleport anyone else once the Skid connects to a tower on a Replika." 9S said.
"R-Right." Connor said.
"Besides, if we jumped into the storage, we'd end up taking a dip in the sea…one we'd never get out of." Jack said.
"Hey, give me a break. I'm still new to all this." Connor said.
"You're good, Connor." Michiru said. "A lot of this is new to many of us."
Once the group had been assembled, the warriors with the addition of Simon departed to the Skid as they dove into the sea.
"Okay…so far so…hold on…three Sharks coming your way." Jeremie said.
"We're on it." Simon said.
"Release!" Aelita said, launching the Nav Skids.
"Keep them away from the Skid, the shield program hasn't finished yet." Jeremie said.
"All right." Aelita said before noticing something. "What is this? I don't have a shield anymore." she said as she was being attacked and sent falling.
"Aelita!" Jeremie said.
"Jeremie, what's happening? We're reading that the Skid's shields just suddenly gave out!" Connor said.
"I don't know, the program was running in my room, and… oh no." Jeremie said.
"I see now…someone is messing with the Skid from the computer in Jeremie's room." Hermit said.
"It's gotta be Sissi. She's trying to get info on Lyoko or who Aelita really is." Bow guessed.
"That's a very specific guess. But whoever it is, if we don't nip this problem soon, we'll lose all five of our explorers and the Skid." Hermit said.
"Not to mention we'll be exposed. So, yeah. We gotta get back." Sachiko said. "I'll see what I can do from the factory."
"Right. Only way to fix this is manually any…way." Jeremie said as a tower soon activated. "Activated tower in the desert sector."
"XANA picked a really good time to strike, did he?" Sachiko asked.
"Everyone, forget the Sharks and recover Aelita and the Skid." Tanya ordered.
"There's an activated tower in the Desert Sector. We will have to pull back." Sachiko said.
"I'll try and get to her." Simon said as he sailed towards the Skid before seeing a large spider-like creature swimming through like a squid. "What the hell is that?"
The creature then clamped itself onto the Skid before producing a drill as it started to search for structural weaknesses on it before it settled for trying to drill through the glass of the Skid.
"Hold on Aelita, we'll…!" Simon said before noticing his Nav Skid was low on power. "Dammit, the Nav Skid doesn't have enough energy to fire a torpedo."
"Jeremie, there's no other way." Sachiko said.
"Hmm…I think I may have an idea." Hermit said. "If I cut power to Kadic…it'll force the computer to shut down."
"Do it, Hermit. And hurry, there's not much time!" Sachiko said.
"Understood." Hermit said as she did so. "Alright, the power in Kadic is shutdown."
"Alright. Diverting power to the Skid." Sachiko said as she types a few keys.
"Aelita, if you can hear us, help is on the way. Skid operational?" Hope said.
"Yes. The shield is back." Aelita said as the monster kept trying to drill in. "Not so easy now, is it?"
"Hey, Aelita…would you mind…" Simon said.
"Of course." Aelita said, rocketing backwards, shaking the monster off her.
"Great job, you guys." Sachiko said. "Now, we're gonna have to abort the mission. There is an activated tower in the Desert Sector. And you guys might want to hurry. Jeremie and Patrick might not have long."
"Don't worry, we're on it." Simon said.
With that, the Skid resurfaced in the Desert Sector as the 5 explorers disembarked and cleared the way to the tower for Aelita to enter and deactivate it.
After a return to the past, things were right back were they were before.
"Well, we can finally play Foosball." Odd said.
"In a hurry to get crushed?" Yumi asked.
"Odd's right, let's all go to the rec room." Jeremie piped in.
"Really Jeremie? What about your viking report?" Bow asked.
"It can wait. How often is it that I get to spend time with my cousin?" Jeremie asked as Patrick smiled.
"Looks like Jeremie got over his insecurities with Patrick. I'm happy about that." Hope said.
"Good for them." Simon smiled.
"Yeah…shame he won't be going to school here." Vector said.
"What?" Pit said.
"Parents called at the last minute and want him going somewhere closer to home." Vector said.
"Aw, that's a real shame." David said.
"Well, the least they can do is spend the time they have left today." Shantae said.
"Hey, Patrick. When we get to Mario Power Tennis…can you be my doubles partner? I always wanted to whip David." Jeremie said.
"Definitely." Patrick replied.
"You don't know what you two are getting yourselves into." Hope said.
"No matter what happens, it's gonna be good." Jeremie said.
