Hello everyone, long time no see!
I know I havent updated meeting the past in a long time but I have the next chapter almost ready. Up until then I'm starting a series of Hinny drabbles to help me cope with these incredibly stressful exams.
Harry came in late from his auror mission, feeling worse for wear. Any more then a week away from home always took a toll on him. Being away from Ginny and the kids was not something he particularly looked forward to. He missed playing around with the kids, coming home on time to have dinner with his family and going to bed holding ginny
he gave a sigh as he flooed in his living room. Taking in his home. He quickly made himself a coffee and put together a quick sandwich. This allowed him to collect his thoughts and calm down. He did not want to go to bed with the mission still on his mind.
He checked in on all of his sleeping children before opening his bedroom door and he felt his heart leap.
Ginny was sleeping on the bed only wearing his t-shirt that he'd worn the night before going on this mission and scanty knickers. Her vibrant red hair was splayed across the pillow and she was hugging his pillow tightly. As he walked across the trying not to wake her up, she gave a sigh and mumbled something that sounded like his name. he quickly changed into his pajamas and silently crept into his bed. He tried to carefully remove the pillow from her grasp and replace himself with it in her arms. Ginny frowned when the pillow was pulled from her grasp but sighed again when harry snuggled into her arms, though she didn't know that. She held harry tightly and wound her fingers into his hair.
Harry held onto his wife tightly and kissed her forehead soundly before snuggling closer into her chest with a smile.
It was good to be home.
