The Orc and The Khajiit
Chapter One
It's cold in the North. Sharza gra-Magog knew this and had thrived on it for the last 6 years; from the snows to the plains, from the swamp to the forests. Right now she was cooking at her camp, her wolf Havoc chewing on a bone while looking at her. "What?" she asked, tasting the pheasant that she tended to. "You know that why I got two after all-hunting's been good."
It gladdened her heart to see him so fit, remembering when she found him in a trap.
~|Flashback|~
She was new to the area, finding a trap and staring at the wolf within, the body of a trapper nearby. He began chewing the ropes, the orc slowly going over with her knife and getting growled at. "Easy," she said, letting him sniff it before going to work on the ropes, getting them off before staring at the right front paw and popping it back, getting a howl and having the wolf sink his teeth into her arm. "I deserve that," she said, not moving. "However, it be night soon."
He glared at her before carefully removing his fangs from her, confused but following her into a cave. Sharza got some jerky, setting it down for him before getting her own, eating silently. The wolf laid down, licking the paw only to have her wrap it while he growled, the orc meeting him glare for glare before going to hunt, coming back with some pheasants and dressing them, hearing a whine. "What wrong?" she kept dressing the meat before putting it over the fire to cook, smirking at the lip licks he gave her. "Where is pack?"
The wolf backed up, Sharza realizing they were missing. "Well, I here boy. And wrap staying on if you want healed-you cause havoc later." At this he perked up. "Oh, so you like name." She pulled one of the breasts off and handed it to him, the wolf sniffing it before taking it. "I not like those that hurt you-Wood Orc, not Nord. I know what you go through-lost tribe, came here."
Havoc crawled over, gently setting his bad paw on her leg and made a sound that sounded like a croon. The next few weeks were the same, the Orc having found a small book and read it as well as taken a few pelts over to the nearest town to sell, getting top coin. Havoc watched her come back with a sack, making them bread to go with the meat. Finally the wrap came off, the wolf going away from her and disappearing. 'It good he goes,' she thought, some gruff Nords trying to take her food when one yelped, Havoc snarling at them before they attacked, the pair of Wood Orc and wolf killing the bandits, the latter making his croon sound and rubbing against her leg before looking up at her. "You come if you want." She said, smiling as he stayed with her from then on.
~|End flashback|~
Havoc barked, taking his bird and tearing into it, the orc doing the same when it was ready, hearing a clatter of people coming into the nearest town-Helgen was the name. Sharza ate her bird and went up, watching as the headsman came out. She liked the man in the bear outfit but not the one in armor-something that stemmed from when she was younger and such men laughed at the fact that her tribe was gone, growling slightly. 'Not right,' she thought, hearing a roar and looking around, seeing it coming before the dragon landed, spotting the Bear Man, as she called him, get loose, running over and helping him to a guard tower. "I have you," she said, the man looking at her before nodding. "With guards running scared I get you and friends out."
"Why do you help us?" he asked. "Most of your kind..."
"Sharza has no kind here as I am Wood Orc," she said. "And I don't trust armored men after some laughed at my dead clan."
"Ulfric," Bear Man said, pointing at himself. "Thank you Sharza."
The group snuck out, a shape lunging forward, the woman smirking as the Nords got out their weapons. "Good Havoc," she said, following the shape until they got to her camp, the group of 6 resting for a moment and taking a good look at Havoc, who was checking the Orc over, nosing her side before letting her bandage the wound.
"How are you Ralof?" Ulfric asked, the man next to him looking up.
"Better now." Came the reply. "We are lucky Sharza was there. I'll need to head to Riverwood and tell my sister."
"I will go with him Ulfric-I know a back way." She got up, Ralof going with her as the others headed off. Sharza knew the layout of the land, getting him to Riverwood and watched as they hugged, the man introducing her as a friend. The woman, Gerdur, looked at the orc and nodded, handing her a key as her brother explained, chuckling at the fact that the orc knew that Havoc had come up there after hearing swords clanging, giving the wolf a friendly pat. "I need you to go to Whiterun and have the Jarl send help." She said, the other nodding and headed out with Havoc. She took out Imperials who had a Stormcloak prisoner, the action done on instinct as she cut his binds with her dagger. "Go," she said, watching him take off before heading down the path, taking out a deer and dressing it easily, gathering the meat and put it in her bag before walking the paths to places unknown.
