Chapter Ten

The next few months they hung around Lakeview and Falkreath, Silver chasing anything that moved at first, standing her ground against Dunya the cow who was a sweet thing and protected her when Hun came to visit.

"Goraan grohiik." He rumbled.

"This spitfire is Silver-Dunya's been her protector ever since she stood her ground...like she's doing now. Silver, there are some we like-Hun and Vulon are some of those." The wolf came forward, sniffing the Akaviri Dragon.

"Drem mal gein." He said, smiling before getting butted by the cow, looking at her. "No harm to her." he added, watching her snort as Inigo fell over laughing.

"The only ones Dunya likes are Sharz, Silver and Rayya," he said. "She's still making her mind up her mind about me. Even Havoc is careful around her." There was a smirk as the two sized each other up. "Sharza, what are you doing?"

Sharza carefully cut off the fringe over her eyes. "There ya go girl. We used to shear them back home-now I just trim the dossan from her eyes so she'll be calmer. I do it regularly." Dunya looked at the great dragon calmly. "She's with calf Inigo so she's very motherly with Silver. The reason she was unsure of you is she couldn't see you that well."

"She was the younger cow at Corpselight-you were trimming her that day when I was heading for the Drink."

"Yep-Mattias could see we had a bond and made a deal with me if I built a house I could have her. She gives good milk." The cow went over to the Khajiit, nuzzling him. "There's your answer by the way."

Hun laughed. "Good cow. I'll tell Vulon not to attack-I like her...when she's not butting me for being around Silver."

A courier ran up, giving the Orc a letter which she read, Hun seeing her tense. "Hun, head for the Throat and gather all dragons who'll..." she stopped, watching 5 dragons land. "Vulon?" she asked. "What is...?"

"We tried to get here first," the dragon said, nudging her. "They want to kill him?"

The two got on the dragons, flying off. "Yes-do not worry-I will make them see or I'll kick them out." They landed on the summit, watching them blanch. "I will only tell you once Delphine-you can leave Paarthurnax alone or I kick you out." At the snort her face went dark. "Whose blood opened the door?! Not yours or Esbern's. It. Was. Mine. Choose wisely."

"If he falls back it's on your head." Delphine said meekly.

"So be it on that front. Think of it this way-now dragons have a choice?"

"That they do Sharza," the Breton watched as she was lowered and got off. "You kinda went overboard."

"Not my doing-Hunlaasaam and Vulonnahspaan are friends-she was the one who brought the Four. Also, there's this." She lowered her hood, showing her horns. "My dragon name is Strunbrittuz-Beautiful Storm Blade."

Esbern came over. "Strunbrittuz-it suits you with the name change after the war." He watched her flush prettily.

"Name change?" Delphine asked. "Like Argonians?"

"My surname was gra-Magog and I changed it to Stormblade or Struntuz in Dovahzul. As Inigo will agree, a change was needed. Strunbrittuz comes from this honor-name."

"Esbern's right-it does suit you. The Blades will leave Paarthurnax be and any dragons be given a choice."

"That's all we ask." She scratched Vulon's cheek. "Who did you bring?"

"That's Iizreythfiik, Boksopraan, Drogkundiin and Lady Feykroviinruth. Fahdonne, zu'u Sharza Strunbrittuz."

"Welcome lot geinne." She said formally.

Iizreythfiik came over. "This is Strunbrittuz?" He asked. "Yes, I see."

"Drem-yol-lok Iizreythfiik." Came the reply. "Daar Inigo, Delphine ahrk Esbern."

"You have great suleyk in your zul-I was correct in following Vulon." Feykroviinruth mused as a red dragon landed.

"They know Odahviing-why you..."

"He wanted mindok." He said.

"They were spoken Odahviing," Inigo said. "Came soaring on dragons to do it."

That sent him into hysterics, the dragon rolling over and thrashing his tail.
