A/N: Hello everyone! It's near the end of October so guess who's back! 😎✨ I am proud to finally be able to present to you The Untold Truth Of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria sequel story and my FNaF AU's story series' second installment, Not Just Human!
I will admit it was a bit tuff getting to work on this AU again since writing chapter 10 for the last installment had mentally drained me for a while and I had to take a break from working on it for a bit. But I've had more than enough time to regain my motivation and I am more than ready to start working on this AU!
Now I was originally going to start of this story with the first chapter, but given how long it was getting I decided to split it into two so Not Just Human could have a proper opening prologue. Now I'm sure your all wonder how frequently I'll be updating this fic. I've decided that I'll be updating once a month on Fridays (as usual) since I fell that this would be a good amount of time for me to write and proofread each chapter.
I was originally supposed to spend my summer break writing at least the first few chapters for this, that sadly didn't work out unfortunately :') Nonetheless, I will do my best to uphold this update schedule and will be sure to inform you in advance if I will not be updating the next month to come if any personal issues come up like school.
Anyways, I won't keep you all from reading any longer. I really hope you enjoy the prologue!
Disclaimer: I do not on Five Night's at Freddy's, its characters, or its content, all rights go to Scott Cawthon or I guess whoever Scott decides to hand down FNaF to since he's retired now!
Like I've mentioned previously, this is a sequel story to my first FNaF fanfic, The Untold Truth Of Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, so be sure to check it out if you haven't. However, you are still free to read this fanfic on its own if you haven't read the first one!
Happy Reading! ^^
There I was, standing proudly on top of the brightly lit stage of my parents' restaurant with my best outfit on. I closed my eyes as I gently gripped onto the microphone before me, sitting perfectly on it's stand as my fingers wrapped around it.
A familiar melody then began to play in the background as I drew the microphone closer to my mouth and began to sing my heart out to the cheering audience before me.
I felt as if I were on cloud nine! The ecstaticity I gained with each and every passing moment that went by was unbelievable. Nothing in this world could ever ruin this amazing experience for me, or at least I thought so at first..
Cause unfortunately for me, I ended up speaking a little too soon with that statement…
As I began to sing the final high note of the song, a loud beeping sound suddenly began to echo throughout the room. I immediately froze as I automatically went silent in shock as the sound soon caught my ears. But then I realized what it was…
My annoying ass alarm clock rudely informing me that it was time to get up! I gasped as I immediately shot up from my slumber to find myself back inside of my room, sitting up in my bed with widened eyes from my sudden shock.
I looked over at my alarm clock that was still beeping loudly on top of my nightstand, to see that it was just 8 AM in the morning. I groaned as I hastily shut it off with a push of a button.
A slightly disappointed sigh then escaped my lips as I said to myself, "It was just a dream.." A hopeful smile however, soon replaced my dampered mood as I turned my head again once more to take a look at my wall calendar from across the room.
As I spied the day's date, I couldn't help but let out a small chuckle as I said to myself, "..but hopefully not for long!"

The Beginning of Summer Break
I threw my bed sheets off myself towards the right hand side of my mattress as I excitedly hopped out of bed to get the day started!
It had been almost one year now since I've survived those five, horrible nights working as a night guard at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria. A hellish, but oddly exciting experience to look back on that I can honestly say I'll never forget..
My summer break had just kicked off recently on the previous Friday as the bell rang vividly throughout the school's building at midday sharp!
I was so stoked for the beginning of summer break this year! It's all I've been looking forward to since the school year had begun! Not only because of the three month break from homework of course, but because of all the exciting things that were to come in my life very soon!
Remember when I said last summer that my parents' restaurant was going to be opening the following year? Well, that time was now approaching! And it was approaching a lot faster than you'd expect.
The grand opening of my parents restaurant, Five Nights At Freddy's, or as my mom and I like to call it for short, FNaF, was just one month away on 15th of July! And because of this, that made today a pretty special day for me!
Why, you may ask? Because today was the start of employee interviews for the restaurant's staff!
Mom had told me the night before during dinner that she would be heading over to the restaurant early the following morning to make a start on the opening day preparations. She wanted me to meet her there at about 9 AM sharp in her new office, so I had one hour to get myself up and ready for it so I could make it there on time!
Ever since the end of my short, but long lasting time at Freddy's, things seemed to have taken a lot of interesting turns in my life to say the least…
1 year earlier...
About one week after Freddy's had closed down last year, Mom came to me and said that I still needed to get another job if I was going to preserve my employment at the restaurant the following year like I wanted, and to keep myself productive as my arm continued to heal. So, she ended up giving me one, at the restaurant ironically.
It wasn't my official position for the grand opening or anything however, rather a temporary employment kinda thing that I suggested to her.
You see, while the interior renovations were being done at the time, Mom needed a pair of eyes out during the night on the restaurant. She was having a difficult time trying to find employers however, due to the recent events that have occurred at Freddy's, so I decided to volunteer to work as a temporary night guard for the rest of the summer until she could find someone.
The ghost kids and Puppet were living there now after all and I figured that they could use some familiar company every once and a while.
Mom agreed to my offer in a heartbeat thanks to my…one week of experience surprisingly…and got me started on my first shift almost immediately on the following night.
Every night of my shifts from start to finish were always funnier than the last compared to my shifts at Freddy's. The ghost kids and I got to know each other a lot better than we did before during this time and we ended up becoming really good friends with each other!
I've learnt a lot about each of them after listening to their past stories that they have generously chosen to share with me, and how they used to spend their days with each other back when they were alive. Let me introduce them!
First, there was Gabriel! The son of the ghost woman and the possessor of the Freddy Fazbear animatronic. He is an 8 year old boy with an authoritative spirit, no pun intended, and strong leadership skills. Pretty obvious traits of course given his role as the group's leader. He was also an extremely talented singer with a mature attitude, vibrant brown hair and bright brown eyes. He wore a plain, khaki, button up shirt with a well fixed collar and rolled up sleeves. His matching colored khakis complimented well with the black suspenders slung onto his shoulders along with his brown, leather brogues and light green visor.
Due to his ghost form however, his skin, clothing and body still only appeared as a translucent white. And based on what I've observed, this was the general pigment of all spirits, so of course this same color appearance applies to the rest of the ghost kids as well.
Next, there was Jeremy! The possessor of the Bonnie animatronic. He is a spunky, little 8 year old guitarist with a deep passion for rock music. He has short, straight, light brown ombre hair with a dark brown mix resting on his head along with his light, chestnut brown eyes beaming on his face. He wears a lilac V-neck T-Shirt with a large, deep-periwinkle stripe spread across its center, along with a thin stripe of the latter color spread across the ends of both his sleeves. He wears this along with a black, hanging end belt around the waist of his dark periwinkle ripped jeans and purple high-top converse. Along those, he wears a grey, spike bracelet around his right wrist along with a single, grey cross earring in his left ear lobe.
Thirdly, there was Susie! The possessor of the Chica animatronic. She is a fierce and energetic little 7 year old girl with a bit of an unhinged personality at times who also enjoys playing the tambourine! She has bright, blonde, curly hair and bright, blue eyes. She wears a dark pink pleated dress with a white collar and a large, white bow in its center. Along this, she wears a pair of black, leather, buckled shoes and ankle socks, along with a dark red bow that sits neatly in her hair.
Fourth of all, there was Fritz! The possessor of the Foxy animatronic. He was a shy little 7 year old boy with no known musical abilities like the others previously mentioned. But he loved pirates more than anything else in the world and would often gain a lot of confidence whenever he would role play as one. He had bright, orange hair with aqua green eyes and a freckled face. He wore a large, two-color, red pouch pocket sweatshirt with light brown shorts and plain brown shoes with ankle socks.
Lastly, there was Cassidy! The possessor of the spring-lock fredbear suit, or better known as, Golden Freddy. She was a quiet little 8 year old girl who also possesses strong leadership qualities and advisement. Like Fritz, she did not possess any known musical abilities like the others. However, she does seem to enjoy writing quite often from time to time from what I've seen. She has long, straight, black hair tied into two lowered pigtails with two yellow bows attached to each. She had dark brown eyes and wore a long, yellow, sleeveless, low round neck dress with a plain white blouse underneath, that complimented well with her flat, brown ankle boots.
These five have been extremely close friends for years now ever since they've all met on that one faithful day at Freddy's old location, only about two to three years before their deaths. And thanks to their late experiences in their afterlife, their close bonds for each other have honestly seem to have grown even stronger than they were before.
When it came to talking about Puppet however, the others didn't seem to know much about her at all. They've only ever met her in their afterlives as The Puppet and she never really talks about her past to any one of us.
Based on what she had told me that one night on my second shift at Freddy's, it's evident that she was too a spirit possessing The Puppet. I've personally brought up the question regarding her true identity quite often in passing conversations with her before, but she never complied.
She's a very secretive person to say the least, but I respected her privacy and decided to let her come to me and the others when she was ready. Despite not knowing much about her however, I still considered her to be a close friend as well.
With the security matter settled, next came the question of how we were going to deal with entertainment. Even though I already had the ghost kids and Puppet on board, we still needed new animatronics for the ghost kids to possess before we could continue with any further plans. Luckily for us however, my mom was on the job!
She said that she knew some robotics engineers that she could hire to make us new models of the animatronics' old designs, but before she could even consider doing that, she had to take the matter over to Fazbear Entertainment first, since they still had all rights over their mascots and company brand.
Fortunately however, when mom contacted them, they gave us full permission to do whatever we liked with their mascots. Apparently since their last three restaurants got closed down over the years, they've decided to just completely rebrand their company and quit the restaurant business for good.
I was a bit disappointed to hear the news at first, but still excited to get started on the entertainment plans with Mom! We were now ready to start preparing for the restaurant's future, making this place the most terrifying, horror joint to ever set foot in our town!
About three weeks later, the new animatronic models were fully built and ready to use. Compared to the old designs, these ones were definitely an improvement from before. It wasn't anything too flashy really, just a few touch ups to the old version models that helped to bring out their classic feel and make them more eye-catching to the public.
The only downside was that mom only had four animatronics made for the main group, so Cassidy wasn't able to get one of her own to possess. She said that she was fine with it however, and that I had nothing to worry about, but I still couldn't help but feel a little guilty about the whole thing sometimes.
Now that we had the entertainment set, all that was left to do was prepare for opening day!
Before I knew it, my long summer break last year had come to an end. So, it was sadly that time for me to finally hand up my resignation letter to mom and return back to school.
So yeah, a lot has really changed in my life over the past year, but I had pretty much become accustomed to all these new changes by now, so everything still felt like the same old same old for me.
Little did I know however, that things were about to become very far from normal very soon…
To be continued…
A/N: Thank you so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed the prologue! I already have chapter 1 written and ready for proofreading so I'll be sure to get to work on it during the start of November and try to have it out for you all before the month ends! ^^ (Be sure to check out my profile for updates on it ✨)
