The droid automatically searched for a new target. He found it in the form of a U.S. Army attack helicopter hovering over the arena, gunning down at the other contestants. Quatro decided to do something about it. He accelerated the turbo on his Xeon Hoverbike and drove directly up and over the curved side of the racetrack. Meanwhile, the helicopter was taking fire from everyone below. It was attempting to retreat when an airborne Quatro activated his hoverbike's signature microwave shockwave and knocked it back into hostile airspace. Quatro landed on the western side of the arena's outer rim, which encircled the booby trapped race track, trick rooms, and the numerous sections of shifting walls and floors. Thanks to his hoverbike's gravity propulsion unit, he safely landed without ever touching the ground.
Seemingly out of nowhere, An international harvester payloader construction vehicle was turbo boosting to ram him mere seconds after the landing. Quatro drove down an embankment to where a police SUV and one of Quatro's assigned targets, Rob Zombie, were posted out in the open, working together to bring down the attack helicopter.
Just before the payloader scooped Quatro into its clutches, he activated another shockwave. This weapon used dense microwave wavelengths and was designed for close quarters crowd control, if he were to say, get boxed in by gang members while waiting for a streetlight to change. Shit happens. Just another day for a constable droid in Diesel City.
The payloader, despite its large size, was pushed back at least a dozen feet. When it recovered, the Army helicopter finally fell in a wrecked heap between them, blocking its path. The construction vehicle then decided grab a hold of the next closest vehicle to it: the SUV.
"Warhawk destroyed. Eight contestants left."
