Quatro turned his attention to two sports cars that had been locked in a dog-chasing-cat type scuffle since the start of the match. The 'cat' was a sleek red car he knew was driven by none other than Scott Campbell, the famous stock car driver. The 'dog' was a bright orange Mustang with black racing stripes. This driver had something of a reputation as well. Quatro knew the man as Carl Lucas, a legend in the Death Race competitions hosted by the Weyland Corporation. After a fateful run-in with a stalker missile, Lucas had burned alive in his car and was later pronounced legally dead by the prison doctors. Nowadays, Lucas is a much more silent type, wears a spooky metal mask, and uses the moniker 'Frankenstein' in place of his real name.

Quatro was the one to initially give chase to Campbell but broke it off after deciding it was doing himself more damage than good. Campbell was racing through some of the most dangerous areas the arena had to offer. Seeing as how Campbell had no bounties or warrants for his arrest, Quatro was going to wait until after he'd taken care of his true targets before pursuing him again. As it seemed, Frankenstein took over the chase shortly after and stayed on the racer's tail.

The constable droid, now with one assigned criminal taken care of, watched as Frankenstein chased Campbell into the spike-trap room, which was already flashing a red emergency light and blaring an alarm. Campbell exited through the other side just as the spike trap activated, allowing the spiked ceiling to slam to the floor one, two, three times. Realistically, anyone still inside would be repeatedly impaled and killed, but even Quatro had his doubts about Frankenstein's demise. The driver's been a Twisted Metal contestant for the past three years and has 'died' in each one. Yet somehow, he miraculously manages to show up for the following year's contest.

Nonetheless, the announcer proclaimed, "Death Warrant destroyed. Five contestants left."
