Total Drama Uncharted

Episode 1a: New Beginnings

-o0o-o0o-o0o-

Standing in an isolated aerial runway was a familiar man, with his signature stubble on his face, sporting a smile that could kill. His necklace gleamed in the twinkling sunlight as an eager expression coated his face, forming words as he began to speak.

"Yo! This is Chris McLean, back with another season of the best reality show to ever grace your screen. Welcome back to Total Drama, folks!" he said enthusiastically, explaining the rules of the game. "This season's gonna be a good one. Lots of sights to see along the way to the final destination, where one lucky competitor will receive the wicked prize, one million bucks! We'll be traveling together in a five-star, luxury class plane, complete with first class, exquisite dining areas, and bathrooms that don't constantly smell!"

He raised his arms up in excitement, with a handful of planes and other aerial vehicles visible, taking off behind him. After an ephemeral moment of slight hesitation, he sighed and continued his monologue.

"Sadly, we'll be traveling with an entourage of 24 ungrateful teenagers. In case you haven't been keeping up, here's the deal. A while back, 24 teens signed up to compete for Total Drama. They competed at Camp Wawanakwa, at an abandoned movie set, and around the world! This time, they'll be going around the world again, going to all new locations, as well as some revisited ones from Total Drama World Tour. They'll be separated into different teams and compete in challenges for rewards and immunity. During these immunity challenges, the losing team may have to shove one of their members out of the plane, and they can never come back. Ever!"

He gave out a sizable chuckle as more sounds could be heard in the airport behind him, the competitors nearing their destination on their fateful journey for a million bucks.

"Okay, maybe," Chris stated, counterarguing his previous remark. "This will continue until the very last episode, where one contestant will come out on top and win it all. Strap on your flimsy seatbelt and get ready for the most epic, most challenging, most intense, most lengthy, most blood-pumping season in Total Drama history. 24 contestants, 32 awesome episodes, and many, many, exotic locations to visit. This is Total! Drama! Uncharted!"

The familiar, run out theme song so commonly associated with the show began its runtime, complete with new visuals to accommodate for the new season and its fresh locales. All 24 original contestants could be seen partaking in their usual antics within the clips, all the way to its fateful end, when it faded to black and allowed the cameras to focus on the host once more.

"As I told you before," he began. "All 24 members of the original cast will be returning to fight around the globe through exotic locales for the million dollar prize."

Cutting him off, a large, beat up, seemingly extremely cheap bus pulled in and honked its horn, alerting Chris to its presence and subsequently sparking his next move.

"Here they come now!" he exclaimed excitedly.

From close by, another voice could be heard from inside the bus, bellowing words the man behind it usually would bellow. "Move, maggots, move!" he shouted, clamoring and scurrying audible from Chris' position.

"Please welcome back the original cast! First up, the one and only Sierra!"

The purple haired girl jumped out on cue, buzzing with excitement and her usual unbridled enthusiasm. "I can't believe it!" she screeched. "We get to go around the world again! On Total Drama! With Cody! I never thought I'd see the day…" she said through a satisfied sigh.

"Well," Chris started. "Someone sure is excited to be back. Nice to see you, too. Also back, we have Noah!"

As the boy with the large, oddly shaped head stepped out with his regular cynical facial expression, he let out a sarcastic remark one could only hope to expect from him.

"Exactly how much did this piece of crap cost you?" he inquired, placing his hand on the bus, beside the railing, not expecting a colossal budget.

"About ten bucks," the host answered proudly.

"Not surprised," Noah monotonically responded as he trudged down the stairs to join the smiling Sierra, who was squealing with joy at the occasion.

"Next up," Chris listed. "We've got Trent!"

The boy calmly walked out, wearing his usual camoed tee and clutching his favorite guitar in its case. He had a smile on his face, as if he was ready to begin the fresh season with new outlooks and morals.

"Hey, how's it going, Chris?" he asked. "It's been a while."

"It sure has, my man," Chris responded as the two bumped fists and carried on, with Trent greeting the other two passengers currently residing outside the bus.

"Nice to see you guys."

"Alright," Chris called. "Next is Lindsay!"

The beaming blonde stepped outside, her finger pressed against her lips, wearing a clueless expression that her face knew too well. "I don't think planes have wheels."

Chris stared at her, remembering the trouble she bore with her, thanks in part to her obliviousness. "Uh, that's a bus."

"Oh, I knew there was something weird going on! Hi, Chip!"

The host sighed, making his move and deciding, not to correct her. "Eh, why do I bother?" he asked rhetorically as Lindsay hugged him and trotted along.

Once he was free of her grip, Chris dusted off his pants and fixed his hair for what seemed to be the thousandth time, clearly striving for perfection at all costs. He looked up at the bus and caught sight of the fifth competitor in the door frame of the vehicle.

"Justin! Welcome back, man!"

"What's up?" the rather handsome boy asked, his muscles easily visible and the shades he was wearing reflecting the sun shining into his eyes.

Sierra stood with her arms crossed, unfazed, while Justin high fived his host and strutted down the aisle, into the clutches of the other four competitors. Trent smiled and greeted his fellow Drama Brother while Lindsay stood speechless, gaping, and Noah wore an expressionless expression and shrugged at the camera.

"Meh," he mumbled.

Justin smiled at the hourglass figure that was Lindsay and picked her head up with his hand. "Hey, Lindsay," to which she responded by giggling innocently.

The camera continued to zoom in on Justin, attaining his notice and capturing the many poses and expressions he pulled out of thin air.

"Hey!" Chris shouted. "Camera two guy! Keep it moving!"

The camera swiveled and focused on Chris and the bus once more. When Chris's slight annoyance faded from his feelings, he flashed his smile and introduced the next contestant.

"Time for the queen herself, Heather!"

The girl entered the sights of the currently awaiting contestants, her scowl highlighted as she exited the vehicle. "I cannot believe I'm doing another season of this. Can we turn the bus around?"

"Don't make me call Courtney's lawyers on you, Heather. Trust me. They're ruthless."

"In your dreams, Chris. I'm winning the million this time."

"I'd love to see that happen," Noah piped up sarcastically.

"Shut it, dweeb."

"Who's next?" Chris asked rhetorically, awaiting the next camper. "It's Beth!" he answered himself as the girl stepped outside.

"Hi, everyone!" she greeted ardently, nearly tripping on her own path as she stumbled outside the vehicle.

"How's it going, Beth?" Chris queried.

"It's going well!" she yelled in identical tone as she bypassed her host, setting her sights on her fellow contestants, namely Lindsay, whom she had bundled up her excitement to see.

"I missed you, Beth," the blonde stated.

"Hey, you got my name right, Lindsay!" she shouted excitedly.

"How's it going, you?" Justin asked through his sunglasses, Beth staring up at him from her unique perspective.

"Hey…" she managed to let out through her throat, taking the role of a maximum security prison.

"I'm surrounded by morons!" Heather clamored.

"You say that like you're not one," Noah countered.

Trent stepped in between the two, who were well on their path to scowling at each other, and attempted his absolute best to separate them. "Guys, guys! It's fine. Chill out."

As Noah and Heather faced the opposite direction, Sierra jumped into the picture from behind, locking Trent and Heather in her underarms. "I just can't believe we're all here together again!"

"Somebody shoot me," Heather whispered.

Chris watched as the action unfolded before him, intent to produce quality television for the broad public eye that was sure to be viewing his show, soon turning his attention to the oncoming competitors in the bus.

"Our next contestants are Katie and Sadie!"

"Eeeeeeeeeh!" he heard them screech in perfect, deafening unison, leaping outside the vehicle with their hands interlocked.

"Hey, guys!"

"I can't believe it!" Sadie let out.

"We're back on the show!" Katie answered, with Sadie replying naught but a second later.

"And we're going around the world!"

The two proceeded to dart past Chris, their host, and reached the other contestants, not paying much attention to any one of them, except perhaps Justin, who they began hugging tightly, prompting a heavy sigh out of the manly eye candy.

"Interesting," Chris muttered before landing eyes on the next passenger of the million dollar voyage. "Next, we have Owen!"

"Woohoo!" the large boy bellowed as he, too, sprung outside of the bus and onto the pavement below him, then beginning to celebrate and dance in his rooted position. "How's it hanging, Chris?"

"Welcome back, Owen," Chris replied as the two high fived heartily.

Owen bounced down the aisle and met his fellow competitors once again. "Oh, it's so great to see you guys! How's my little buddy?" he asked, crushing Noah within a hug that could rival a grizzly bear's strength.

"I've been better!" Noah squeaked.

Owen subsequently released Noah, who collapsed onto the floor, and explained himself. "Sorry, I get a little overexcited sometimes," he said as Noah regained his strength and called to his feet.

"Cody!" Chris yelled in response to the next competitor becoming visible in the door frame. "The Codester! The Code-Meister!"

"Aw, yeah!" he cheered. "The Codester's back in town!"

Suddenly, he heard a shrill shriek that could only be associated with one voice, and just as he began strutting down the stairs, he noticed Sierra squealing with amplified elation.

"Ah!" he grunted as he tripped on his footing and planted his chin on the concrete ground the others were standing on.

Sierra immediately rushed over to the scene, picking up Cody and slinging him over her shoulder. "I missed you, Cody."

Cody heaved a hefty sigh as Sierra began trudging along. "Me, too," he mumbled somewhat sarcastically, yet simultaneously in an honest tone of voice.

"Aw, he's like her little baby!" Lindsay beamed as she lifted one foot up, watching as Cody and Sierra returned to the group, Chris eyeing the next contestant.

"Leshawna!" he called out.

"What's up, y'all?" the ghetto girl asked conspicuously, strutting down the walkway with her luggage in hand and high fiving McLean before reaching the other teenagers. "Good to see you. Especially you," she glowered, obviously not meaning what she was saying.

"Well, I'm sure we've all missed you, Leshawna," Heather replied hastily.

"Hey, Lindsay. Hey, Beth," Leshawna greeted as she hugged her accomplices, Lindsay and Beth giving in without many second thoughts, elevated in the moment.

"Duncan!" Chris smirked with a laugh coming up through his throat. "What's up, dude?"

"Never thought I'd miss this crap," the boy uttered, smiling. He approached Chris and gave him a fist bump, then going on to Owen, who gave him a high five.

"Alright!" Owen screeched.

"Hey, man."

"Oh, look who's back!" Heather shouted at him with malicious intent. "I can't wait for Gwen to arrive!"

"Eat it, toothpick."

Chris chuckled at the delinquent's previous statement, turning around and smiling, introducing the fourteenth contestant. "Alright! Our next contestant is Courtney!"

As Chris beckoned to her through the use of her name, Courtney carefully made her way to the bottom of the stairs, utilizing the safety rails to her advantage. "Hi, everyone."

"Welcome back, Courtney," Chris greeted as she shook his hand, a more formal route than every other contestant took.

As she scouted her surroundings and took notice of the oncoming crowd of thirteen, Courtney eyed Duncan spitefully. "I was hoping I didn't have to see you again."

"Oh, believe me, sister," Duncan started. "I'm not exactly excited to see you again, either."

"That is so sad," Katie whispered. "Isn't it Sadie?"

"Totally," her surrogate twin replied. "Reality shows really suck for relationships, you know."

"Also returning," Chris began, anxious to introduce the next passenger. "It's Eva!"

The athletic teenager refused to exit graciously, stomping down the steps leading to the ground with rage-fueled flames lighting up her pupils, thrusting her finger in the air towards Chris' direction.

"You have a lot of nerve bringing me back on this stupid show!" she fumed, her glower only widening.

"Yeah, we know," Chris replied relatively nonchalantly.

"You might as well hand me the million right now," she barked as she approached the rest, rooting in a spot beside Cody and Sierra. The former of which smiled at Eva, remembering the MP3 incident, but was greeted with a growl, which Sierra responded to by pulling Cody closer to her with both arms and grimacing.

"Alright, then," said Chris, beckoning towards the next competitor of the season. "Next up, Geoff!"

The boy walked out, relaxed, with a smile on his face and his trademark hat decorating his oddly shaped head. "What's happening, dudes?"

"Geoff, my man," Chris responded, responding to Geoff sticking his arm out in a fist by bumping it.

"Good to see you," Geoff said as he met with the others, high fiving both Owen and Duncan, as well as smiling at Cody and tipping his hat towards the direction of Trent and Justin, the latter of which gave him a wink in response.

"Our next contestant is DJ!" Chris announced.

The gentle giant nimbly stepped down the stairs while waving to the camera and his fellow teenagers, a smiling beaming on his face as the breeze blew gently that morning. "Hey, everyone."

"How's it going, DJ?" raised Chris.

"It's going great, man. Thanks for having me back," DJ replied as he calmly fist bumped Chris.

"My pleasure, dude."

DJ carried on walking and heading onto the small crowd and catching sight of all three members of the guys alliance, Duncan, Owen, and Geoff. "Hey, hey!" he grinned.

"Aw, man! This is awesome!" Owen blissfully cheered as the four boys high fived each other and caught up.

"The boys are back in town!" added Duncan.

"Alright!" Geoff howled, the four of their hands still sticking together after the high five.

"Let's welcome back Gwen!" Chris hollered.

The grumpy goth trudge into view of the contestants, leaning onto the side of the door frame and saying, "Aw, crap. Here we go again."

"I'm loving the enthusiasm, Gwen," Chris replied.

"Whatever."

Gwen shuffled past Chris with her suitcases clutched tightly within her palms, attaining the attention of a certain Leshawna.

"Hey, girl!" she cheerfully greeted as the two fist bumped, with Gwen afterwards meeting with Duncan, whom she shared a hug with, prompting Courtney to stick her finger into her mouth and pretend to gag.

"Loser," Heather seemed to agree.

"Our next competitor," Chris began. "Izzy!"

The so-called psycho hose beast leapt into the door frame and immediately shrieked, "Yeah! Woohoo!" as she commenced the action of backflipping down each of the steps, landing on her hands and springing back up towards the other competitors, Chris watching in amusement.

"Hey, Izz!" Owen smiled.

"Hey, Big O!" she zealously remarked, hugging the relatively large boy known as Owen. "So, this is cool, huh?"

"If by cool, you mean deadly and full of crap," Noah uttered. "Then it's a riot."

"Oh, hi, Noah!" she shouted again.

"Only five contestants left," explained Chris. "Bridgette's next up!"

"Hey," the surfer girl uttered calmly as she entered the door frame with her trusty surfboard in hand, at this point so commonly associated with her that it became a signal of her presence. She gently bumped Chris' fist and traveled near her boyfriend, whom she hugged, telling him, "I missed you."

"Missed you, too, Bridge."

Duncan eyed them somewhat malevolently before piping up, "You two'd better not start making out again."

"Oh, don't worry," Bridgette assured them. "We're totally in it to win it this time around."

"So you said last season," Heather intervened.

Bridgette's face contorted into an expression of slight, yet noticeable anger, or perhaps annoyance, before she responded. "That was a mistake."

"We're doing it this time, dudes!" Geoff backed out.

After the conversation had ended, Chris turned his attention to his usual hosting duties, noticing the bus door frame had been acting as host to another cast member. "Alright! Our next contestant is Harold!"

The skinny boy inched forward, nearing the steps and beginning his routine, involving karate poses of many forms. "Hi-Yah!" he shouted before he walked over to the rest. "Hi, everyone. Hi, Leshawna."

"How's it going, Harold, baby?" she inquired.

"The incessant odious fragrance from the exhaust is really-" he began to say, before Harold was interrupted by a tap on the shoulder from someone. Upon turning around, he realized it to be Duncan. "Oh, hey, Duncan."

Instead of greeting Harold, Duncan pushed him hard enough for Harold to lose his balance and tumble into Leshawna's arms. "You're lucky I broke up with Courtney," Duncan explained.

"Not cool, Duncan!" Harold retaliated. "Thanks, Leshawna," he said graciously, before Leshawna took notice of her previous action and released Harold, subsequently ending in him falling to the floor.

"Three left!" Chris interrupted. "Alejandro's next!"

"Hola, mis amigos!" the Spanish boy welcomed with a smile on his face, prompting a sharp, cursory gasp from Heather.

"Welcome back to the show, my man," said Chris.

"Thank you for having me back," Alejandro responded, shaking his hand, strutting along and taking a spot next to his main adversary.

"Go away," she barked.

"You want me to go away?" he asked sarcastically, inching closer to her.

"How the hell did you get out of that robot suit?" she hastily replied, changing the subject as rapidly as possible.

"I got it removed after staying inside it for a year."

"Ugh!"

Chris promptly chuckled, eyeing the drama occurring in front of him. "You guys are gonna love this one," he insisted. "Second to last is Ezekiel!"

"What?" they all asked in unison, completely bamboozled in their screaming voices and wandering thoughts.

As they continued wondering what Chris had just announced, the familiar figure known as Chef Hatchet appeared within the door frame, not accompanied by a human. Instead, it was a feral beast, detached from society and deprived of his senses.

Ezekiel was thrown by Chef, landing on the floor and rolling before coming to a sudden halt, beginning to snarl and chase his own behind, sprinting effortlessly in circles that would never complete.

"What is he doing here?" Gwen inquired.

"There is no way I'm competing with that thing," Eva added.

"He turned feral in season three," Sierra explained. "He's unable to compete."

"I think you're going feral, too," Cody told Sierra, whose self was still obsessed with him.

"Don't be silly, Cody," she retaliated. "I'm just going feral over you."

"Yeah," he said, turning to face one of the many cameras. "I'm screwed."

As Ezekiel continued producing his usual grunting noises and chasing his nonexistent tail, Chris began explaining his reasoning.

"It's alright, guys. He's mostly harmless. His parents finally sued us and demanded we nurse him back to health, so we figured the best way to get him back to normal was to give him another chance at the million and some actual human interaction. One thing led to another, and bam! He's on the show."

The competitors responded with long, drawn out groans, eyeing Chris in dissatisfaction and with faces of disbelief.

"Haha, awesome!" Izzy shouted.

"You can't be serious!" was audible, coming from the mouth of Justin, clutching a mirror in his right hand, lowering it with the revelation of the latest news.

"Hey, don't worry! We still have one more competitor left!"

"Extreme!" the other twenty-three heard a voice shouting, radiating energy from the door frame and marking the final competitor. Tyler was standing, posing in his normal wannabe athletic poses, then tripping on the stairs and rolling endlessly on the ground, ceasing his movement at the feet of the others. "Ow!"

"Tyler!" Lindsay twinkled, picking him up to his feet.

"Hey, Lindsay. Hey, guys."

"Alright," Chris began, smiling radiantly, eager to commence the new season. "Everyone's finally here. All 24 of you! It's time to get a tour of the plane."

Chef Hatchet exited the bus as it pulled away, signifying a driver already inside. He pulled a remote from his pocket, which slowly opened a door in the distance behind the cast. They turned, fixed on the moment and enraptured by the fact that they'd be receiving a new plane.

That was until the exact same plane rolled out.

"You told us there would be a new plane!" Duncan snapped.

"As if I'd actually tell you the truth," Chris responded. "Owen, you might wanna be careful with this thing."

"Oh, don't worry," Owen assured him. "I conquered my fear of flying!"

"Yeah, and I lied about in the first place," Izzy added.

"Nothing to be scared of," DJ said. "Did you rebuild the plane?"

"Yup, but you'll find there's definitely a lot to be afraid of," Chris added, chuckling maniacally.

"Like what?" Beth inquired, gaining glares from those who believed she shouldn't have asked. "I'm not really scared of anything."

"What about explosions?" Chris asked rhetorically, with Chef pressing a different button on the remote directly afterwards, triggering a detonation hailing from the interior of the plane. The explosion rung out for a sizable amount of time, with large amounts of wreckage visible in the aftermath. Nobody was harmed, save for the plane, which was completely annihilated.

"Wicked!" Harold shouted in response.

"This is the real plane," Chris explained as a fresh plane rolled into the area, more of the plane becoming visible after every passing second. The campers ardently gaped in absolute awe once laying sight upon the aircraft. Its wheels were squeaky clean, rolling smoothly, unlike the atrocity that was the jumbo jet. Windows were visible from the head to the tail, gleaming and reflecting its surroundings in perfection. It was long, astonishingly and unbelievably long, and looked to be one of luxurious class, its smooth white color scheme shining in contrast with the dark, cold ground.

"No way!" Katie shouted in disbelief.

"I can't believe it, Katie!" Sadie responded.

"Are we actually riding in that?" Trent queried, pointing to the quality locomotive and then back to his host.

"Yup!" Chris answered, smiling. "Everything's bigger and better this season, and by everything, I mean everything," he chuckled. "That includes this plane. Let's take a tour, shall we?"

The camera cut ahead as the passengers and pilots entered the plane, the interior of which was not fooled by the exterior. It was just as lavish as it had appeared, demonstrated by the very first area they walked into. The walls lined the corners of the room, with large windows covering most of the area where they would be located. There was one step on each side, located directly next to the walls, leading down into the middle of the room, containing two colossal sofas facing each other. They would've formed a complete circle, save for the small gaps in between. In the space between the couches, the floor turned to glass, with the airport floor visible through it.

"Woohoo!" Cody belted. "Now that's what I'm talking about!"

"We're really here, aren't we?" Gwen rhetorically inquired.

"I thought this kind of stuff was only in cartoons," Justin explained, standing next to Chris. "You've really outdone yourself, Chris."

"Thank you, Justin. This is the common area," the host announced. "This is where we'll hold meetings together, where challenges will be explained every three days, and where you will report at the beginning of every episode. It's also a place you can come to at any time to hang out or just relax. Follow me to the next area."

The camera flickered into the next scene, though the group barely had to walk at all, as the common room led directly into the next one, which was a hallway. It contained another couch on each end, as well as two cushioned chairs beside each one.

"This is the main hallway," Chris explained as they passed through, contestants still in shock at their superior living conditions. As they entered the very next area, they noticed a large space containing dining conditions. There was a multitude of tables, with the seats surrounding them counting 24 in total. There was a wood burning pizza oven, a grill, many other kitchen appliances, a bar lining the right side, a chandelier lighting up the spacious region, and flags of various countries strewn across the walls.

"Is this the dining area?" Lindsay asked.

"No, it's where we sleep," Noah sharply replied.

"Yes, Lindsay, it is," Chris explained. "Chef will be cooking meals for the hosts, and also for you. This time, it's actual food."

"I'll take that as a compliment," Chef grumbled, entering the room from the door behind the bar's counter and deciding to anoint himself as part of the group.

"Yes!" Owen screamed. "Thank the heavens, yes! It's a dream come true! Oh, sweet mama! Yes! Real food!"

As the boy continued celebrating, Chris asked, "Will somebody please shut him up?"

"With pleasure," Leshawna responded, picking up a chicken leg from behind the counter and stuffing it into Owen's mouth. Ezekiel soon snarled, apparently wanting a bite as well.

"Thanks," the tubby boy gurgled through the chicken.

Next, the group moved into a wider hallway with brown doors lining the walls, specifically twenty-four, each one containing a gold plaque to decorate it. "These are the dorms, where you'll be sleeping for the next, uh, however many days this thing takes. Each plaque contains one of your names on it, so be sure to look for your room and set your things there once we're done. Just to make it interesting, your room will be located next to some of your friends, your girlfriends, your boyfriends, and even your worst enemies."

"This is surreal," Courtney murmured.

"Wow, Sadie," Katie muttered. "We get our own rooms."

"I know right?" Sadie queried in response. "This is so cool!"

"Finally, a girl can get some privacy!" Leshawna belted out.

"Each room is complete with a king sized bed and silk sheets, with the fluffiest pillow you'll ever rest your teeny little teenage heads on," Chris described. "They also each come with a 40 inch flat screen TV, LED lighting, a balcony overlooking the skies, and their own private bathroom!"

This statement alone uproariously sparked commotion among the enlivened competitors, the males and females alike smiling and feverish, elevated at the idea of their improved living conditions, aside from Owen, who evidently didn't care for bathrooms, and Ezekiel, who was too busy grooming himself with his legs.

"Private bathrooms! Oh, I've been waiting so long for this!" Lindsay shrieked.

"Yup," Chris agreed. "Not as good as my quarters, but still pretty nice. The walls aren't soundproof, though, so you might wanna get used to that," he added through a chuckle.

"Great," Courtney murmured. "Now we get to hear your snoring all night," she barked, pointing at Harold's face.

"I told you, it's a condition!" he shouted at her. "Gosh!"

"You ignore her, Harold," Leshawna advised as Chris led the group into the next area.

"Right this way, passengers."

Once through the hallway calling home to the dormitories, the contestants were led into another area by Chris, this one resembling a gym. The walls were white, with one red stripe striking through, running across the length of the room.

"This is the gym," Chris announced. "Some of you may find this more interesting than others."

"Finally, something good," Eva snapped. "I'm impressed."

"Thank you, Eva," replied Chris. "Again, this area's just for fun, and you can come here any time you like," he added before chuckling.

"Alright," Tyler gawked. "It's Tyler time!"

Some other passengers, namely specifics like Alejandro, Justin, DJ, and Duncan, continued to examine their surroundings, noticing a spacious area complete with weights, treadmills, biking machines, rowers, and vending machines, which Owen found quite intriguing.

"Here's the last, uh, 'fun' area," Chris sarcastically said through a snicker. The gang entered a new room, this time extremely commodious, sporting ample space, with its main highlight being the indoor pool in the center. There were a few diving boards, as well as white poolside chairs made of a flexible material, with a counter which seemed to server as a section of food ordering, and a central domed ceiling composed of translucent blue glass.

"Awesome!" Geoff yelped as Bridgette smiled up at him.

"This is the pool," Chris unnecessarily brought up.

"Really?" Noah inquired. "I thought it was the-"

"Oh, shut it already!" Heather screeched at him before he could complete his sardonic remarks.

"Alright, we got one more area left," explained Chris. "There's the cargo hold after that, but we'll probably just skip it since no one actually cares. This is my favorite room," he laughed. "It'll soon be yours, too."

"Yeah, I don't think so," Duncan snapped.

"You'll see."

The contestants entered the final area of the plane set to be explored during the duration of their tour, which was perhaps part of the highest regard in terms of servitude and honor of the game. There was a podium where Chris would presumably stand, the same curtains from Total Drama World Tour draped behind it. A door stood, leading outside the plane on the left side. Against that left wall, directly beside the door, was a gigantic map of the world, the parchment paper emphasizing the shape of the continents and the journey-esque feel of the prebuilt season. Yet another door was placed on the right side, leading into a relatively confined space, the public bathroom. In contrast to the rest of the plane's sumptuous nature, it was surprisingly small, as opposed to the other spacious areas infested throughout the plane. It was a nice bathroom with tiled floors and painted walls, but it was relatively cramped and had a camera facing the toilet.

"Welcome to the dreaded elimination area!" Chris shouted, full of joy. "Confessional booth is just over to the right, but the best part of every episode is the very end, where one sorry loser will jump out that door and take the drop of shame!"

This remark gained a few sharp gasps from the competitors, who didn't believe and extravagant elimination would be present within the new plane and new season.

Chef then proceeded to open the door, allowing the competitors to gain full view of the ground far below, or what would've been had they taken off previously. While the airport ground stood motionless beneath their feet, the competitors were injected with a certain sense of dread as they realized there was a high probability they themselves would be forced to endure this dubbed drop.

"You've gotta be kidding me!" Bridgette exclaimed.

"We get a new plane, and you make us jump out of it?" Duncan asked fiercely. "No thank you!"

"You can be first if you'd like, Mr. McQuittyPants," Chris returned, smirking and pointing at the exit.

"You are not quitting again," Gwen glowered, sparking a reassuring glare upon Duncan.

"Relax, queenie. I'm not losing it this time," he responded as Chef slammed the door shut with appreciable force, then turning to go and heading towards the path he once tread.

"Well, that's the entire plane," said Chris, before pointing behind him. "Cargo hold's back there, and me and Chef's quarters are none of your business. Any questions?"

"Can I get a restraining order?" Cody hastily responded, with Ezekiel replying in the form of a growl and Sierra's arm currently wrapped around shoulder, progressively pulling him closer in an unyielding grasp.

"Nope!" Chris answered. "Good luck with, uh, that."

"Oh, come on!"

"It'll be alright, Cody," Sierra whispered.

"Whatever floats your boat, weirdo," Eva snapped.

Suddenly, the floor began to tremble, with motoring sounds audible all throughout the nearby vicinity, contestants in awe, staring up and down, eager for the journey ahead.

"Attention, maggots!" Chef bellowed over the intercoms, which weren't loudspeakers this time, but instead built into the ceiling of each room and contributing to the sleek comprehensive constitution of the aircraft. "We are now beginning our ascent into the air, so buckle up, shut up, and get yourselves comfortable!"

The competitors then felt the plane lift off, soaring into the air as a bird would, floating effortlessly and fabricating a tremendously smooth voyage.

"You heard the man, passengers," Chris addressed. "Make yourselves comfortable for the duration of the ride. After that," he said, snickering unnervingly. "Well, it won't be as comfortable once we get there."

"Of course," Beth grumbled.

"Hey, don't worry, Beth!" Justin reassured, chuckling. "I'll lead the way."

Confessional: Beth

"Okay, I really have no idea how this season's gonna go," Beth said, tapping her fingers on her head as she stared out the window of the confessional. "I did break up with Brady since the last time I competed, so I think it'll be different this time. Maybe I'll even have a better shot at winning!"

Confessional: Justin

"Let's just say I screwed up big time in season two," Justin said smiling, one of his legs over the other and a mirror clutched in his hand. "Okay, so I said that last time. Doesn't matter. This one's in the bag. Watch out, ladies and gentlemen. This guy's back in the game."

Confessional: Izzy

"Okay, how awesome is this?" Izzy shouted, throwing her arms in the air. "I just can't believe it's true! This plane has balconies! Okay, now I can totally mess with all the other planes we pass! I got banned from basically every airport in my area for, uh, different reasons, which means it's probably not a safe idea to have me on board, haha!" she cackled maniacally, ending her confessional.

There was a precipitous incline in liveliness aboard the plane once Chris had released the passengers to their surroundings and their own free will, he and Chef in the cockpit near the front of the plane attempting not to crash it. Competitors were scrambling through the hallways, seeking to perceive their environment with clearer vision by experiencing it the best they could. Their rooms were an attraction, with the many teenagers setting down their luggage inside them and deciding to explore all they had to offer.

The doors were grouped in formations of eight with four rooms on each side of the plane. A considerable amount of space was between each group of eight, forming a sense of separation, yet the sense of unity brought by the linear hallway could not escape.

A sense of anticipation and emotions of elation radiated through the minds of the passengers and through the halls of the ritzy airplane as the group set off to their first destination together in a what had collectively begun to feel like a long, long time. What was going to happen? Where would they go? Who would pull out on top? Not much was expected by the competitors, who believed they would largely end the same as they started, but the mysteries of the future would soon be uncovered with time.
