Chapter 1 Duelist's fiance

At a school was a young man wearing a uniform, he resembles Masamune Date from Sengoku Basara without the eye patch, his name is Ryu Kiryu.

He was sitting on his chair with his legs on the desk.

"Oi Kiryu!"He looks to the sides to see Yui Kotegawa.

"Ohn hey Kotegawa."He said.

"Don't hey me!"She glares at him."Take your feat off of that desk!"

"Don't be such a stiff for once."Ryu said."Also duck."

"What?"Kotegawa got confused before knowing ducking avoiding a speeding missile that was actually a human girl called Momioka Risa.

"Damn it, so close!"Risa said.

"Better luck next time Risa."Ryu said.

He then leans back avoiding another one called Sawada Mio, who is Risa's best friend.

He's pretty popular with the girls too, being the most powerful Duelist that works out a lot makes him popular.

"Come on Ryu, let us feel that body."Mio said.

Risa goes to her side and said:"Yes, we can make you very happy."

"If I did, I would break my promise."He said.

"That's right!"They saw four girls enter being Ichika, Nino, Miku, Yotsuba and Itsuki.

Nino was pointing at the two girls."You perverts better control yourselves!"

The two pouted, everyone knows that Ryu cares about the Quintuplets more than most people here.

"Now now, don't need to be that furious Nino, Ryu can control himself."Ichika said.

Kotegawa goes up to Itsuki."Can't you do something about your friend?"

"What am I suppose to do, I'm not his mother."Itsuki said.

Ryu sighs and then saw another girl called Sairenji Haruna sitting next to him.

"Oh hey Haruna."Ryu said.

She got surprised and blushes."Hello... Ryu."

Miku saw that and pouts."Haruna."

Haruna had a crush on Ryu, when he came to the school he helps her a lot and even defended her from a bunch of guys that wouldn't leave her alone, so that made her grow closer to him.

"What time is it?"Ryu yawns.

"Oh it's three hours before class is over."Yotsuba said.

"Good."Ryu said.

"How do you take good scores when you don't take class seriously!"Kotegawa said.

"Because I am... Absolutely Flawless!"He smirks.

After class Ryu goes back to his house and he opens the door.

"I'm home!"

"Ryu!"He then sees a 12 year old girl wearing a kitchen apron, she has gold brown eyes and brown hair, this is his younger sister Mikan.

"Hey Mikan."He smiles at her.

"Big bro!"They saw Kotaro running towards him.

"Careful Kotaro!"Mikan said worried about him.

Ryu lifts Kotaro up."Hey there Kotaro."He looks at his sister."So how was your day?"

"I've been fine, if you like everyone in my class always asking about how it is being the invicble duelist's sister."She frowns.

Ryu chuckles and pats her head."Don't worry, it's just shows that you have a cool brother to them, so what's for dinner?"

"I'm still making it."Mikan said.

"Okay, i'll go take a bath, wait here Kotaro."He puts his brother in the living room while he goes up.

Mikan looks to see Kotaro looking down and said:"Don't worry Kotaro, big bro is just a little tired, he'll come down and be with us."Kotaro looks at her and nodded.

At the bathroom

Ryu was inside his bathtub relaxing with a smile."Now this is the life."

But then he saw a light surprising him before something splashes inside of the tub making him put his hands foward to block the water, he then saw it was a girl his age with pink hair, when she stood up he saw she was naked with the mist covering some of her body parts.

"Escape successful~!" The girl said cheerfully. She stretched her arms above her head.

"What?"He then noticed he was touching her chest.

"Oh no!"

Mikan heard a sound and knocks on his bedroom door."Ryu what's wrong?"

"Nothing! Just missed a card of mine!"He said.

"Man, at least keep track of your stuff."She goes down.

Ryu then looks at his bed to see the girl wearing a towel.

"Okay this is getting weird."Ryu said."So what's your name?"

"I'm Lala Deviluke."She smiles at him.

"Okay Lala, my name is Ryu."He said.

"Nice to meet you Ryu."She said.

"How did you appear in my bathroom?"He asked.

"This!" Lala holds up her wristwatch, which looks rather strange. It had a rabbit like design. "This is Pyon Pyon Warp-kun! This invention I made allows one to warp to a different location... Of course this is a prototype so it can't teleport to a place I want; I used it while in the spaceship's bathroom and somehow came to yours. As for naked my close got left behind I guess inorganic matter cant be teleported."

"Okay."He thinks about what she said.

"Kuri?"Rainbow Kuriboh appears next to him.

"I know, I know."Ryu said.

"Hey Ryu, what is that cute little creature?"Lala asked pointing at Kuriboh.

"Oh this is-"He then stops when they realised she saw Kuriboh."You can see him?!"

"Yes."She got confused.

"Anyway, why did you use that machine to teleport to my bathroom?"He asked.

"I'm being chased..." she says, surprising them."I thought I'd be safer if I came to Earth, but they followed me here. I was taken away on their ship... Without this I probably would have..."

"Wait if your being chased then that-"He got interrupted when something flies inside the open window.

"Lala-sama!" They saw a white doll with bat-like wings. Lala hugs the small doll affectionately.

"Peke! I'm so glad you found me off that ship!" she says to the guy.

"Who's that?"Ryu asked.

Peke soon notices the Ryu. Pointing at him he asks:"Who's that dull looking human?"

"What did you call me?!"Ryu said.

"That's not nice to say, this is Peke. He's an all purpose costume robot I made."She said.

"Costume?"He both said.

"Okay! Costume Henshin!" Peke transforms, turning into clothes that reassemble onto Lala's body. She returns to her new outfit with has some resemblence to Peke."Cool, isn't it?"Lala asks him with a grin."Without Peke I'd have no clothes."

"I would call myself crazy if I didn't seen weirder stuff already."Ryu said to himself."Also are you still being chased?"

"Don't worry. I have an idea of what to do." Before she could leave out the room, two figures leap through the open window and appear before them. Like Lala they have similar tails hanging out of there black suits, and wore shades on their faces.

"Gah! It's them!" Peke states in shock.

Lala looks up at her hat, where Peke's eyes are, and angrily asks:"Peke, didn't I tell you to make sure no one could follow you?"

"Yes…"He gulped in fear.

"Nice going! Now everything's ruined!"Lala complains angrily.

"You've given us quite the trouble, Lala, but now playtime's over," the scar faced one says.

But then they got kicked away by Ryu surprising Lala.

"Stay out of my house!"Ryu said.

"Wow your super strong Ryu!"Lala said.

"Big brother what's going on!"Mikan came in and saw Lala."Hey who is she?"

"No time!"He takes Lala with him."We've got aliens attacking!"

"What?!"Mikan got surprised.

"I'll explain later!"He said as they went outside.

Ryu runs foward to a park and they saw the two goons again.

"Well... Looks like I'll have to take them down."Ryu said.

"That confidence will be your undoing."A voice said making Ryu look up. A large UFO suddenly came down here, making everyone notice it.

A beam shot down from the center of the UFO and onto the ground. Seconds man, a large man was revealed, with a sword in his hand. The man has white hair, along with odd looking armor and a red cape.

"Zastin!"Lala said.

"Move aside Earthling."Zastin said.

"Or what?"Ryu said.

"You don't even know what going on earthling. Did she even tell you why is running?"

"She told me that she had to escape, and seeing her distress it seems important."Ryu said.

"This is her sixth time running away from home. The reason she is running away is because she doesn't want to be in arranged marriage meeting. Now, Lala, come with us now."

"I'm not going!"Lala shouted, sticking her tongue out."I don't care if I'm the successor! I'm not going to sit in those arranged marriage meetings!"

"What you want doesn't matter. This is your father wish, so come here. We're going home."

Lala gave him the most determined. "I already chose my husband, Zastin! Ryu is going to be my future husband!"

"What?"Ryu got confused.

Zastin for surprised at what she said."Lala, stop fooling around and come back home. Your father would not want you to fool around with this earthly peasant."

Lala got mad hearing what he called Ryu, the kindest guy she has ever met.

"Don't you dare insult my future husband Zastin! I only want to marry Ryu, nobody else!"She said angrily.

Zastin sighed, before pulling his sword out. "Then I shall test him myself. See if he can become ruler of the galaxy…."

"Who cares about that!"He said surprising them."I only came here to help a girl in need not to become some ruler."That made Lala happy since he isn't like the other guys that just want to marry her for the throne."So if you want her you have to get passed me."

"Very well."Zastin takes out his sword and charges at Ryu who takes out his duel disk and activates the energy blade stopping the attack."What?!"

Ryu smirks and said:"Not so strong now are you."Ryu kicks him away.

The other two grunts charged at Ryu who looks at them."So you wanna fight me, then I got my own help."Ryu draws two card."Come on out Six Samurai Zanji and Nisashi!"His two monsters appeared.

"How did he do that?!"Peke was shocked.

"Wow!"Lala said.

The two samurais attacked the grunts sending them away.

"How can a human do that?!"Zastin said.

"Because here we are not as weak as you think, now let me show you what we can do!"He takes out a card making a shockwave come out surprising Zastin."Appear Great Shogun Shien!"He inserts the card making his two Samurais vanish as Great Shogun Shien appeared.

Zastin got scared since the man in front of him had the aura of a king."Wait... Is he-"

"Go!"Ryu said and Shien slashes Zastin away making him fly.

Ryu puts his hand in front of his head to look better."And he's out."

Lala then hugs him."Your so cool Ryu, I knew you were the one!"

"I have to explain this to Mikan."He grunts.

Zastin was still flying away and said:"Looks like I'll have to warn Lord Gid about her new fiance."

Note:here's a what if story where instead of going to Ever After High Ryu stayed at his world and met Lala because of that, so it's a continuation of Quintessential Duelist just with small differences like Mikan being his sister here too along with Kotaro, also I just wanted to try a To Love-Ru story since I got interested in doing one.
