Prologue – Hikaru Tachibana
Kuoh Town – 6:55 A.M
(3rd Person P.O.V)
As the sun shined on an apartment complex, we see a young boy sleeping quietly in his room. The boy in question is a teenager very tall for his age of 17 at 6 feet tall. He has long dark brown hair, almost bordering on black. (Think of Dangai Ichigo's hair, but it's cut shorter so both eyes are still visible).
He is currently wearing nothing but sweatpants showing off his torso. He has a very athletic build with a six-pack as well as strong arms which would make any girl have a nosebleed. His face is quite handsome with sharp features. This boy's name is Hikaru Tachibana, a second year in class 2-C at Kuoh Academy.
*BEEP BEEP BEEP*
*CLICK*
"I seriously need to get a quieter alarm clock..." The dark-haired boy muttered with his low and husky voice that would be music to any woman's ears before opening his black-colored eyes. He gets up, stretches and goes in front of his wardrobe mirror as he stares at his reflection, fixing his slightly shaggy hair.
"Hikaru, are you awake yet? I'm making your favorite breakfast~" A feminine voice called out from outside the room. "I'm coming mom. Just let me take a shower first." Hikaru replied as he turned to his room's door.
"Another school day, huh..." Hikaru mentally spoke to himself. He grabs his clothes, goes into the bathroom and takes a quick shower before getting dressed up and going to the kitchen counter.
Hikaru is currently wearing the Kuoh Academy boy's uniform which, for him, is a black blazer with white accents left open on top of a grey hoodie with black pants to match the blazer. He also wears grey sneakers with white socks. (I'm going to be saying a lot of words related to black in this chapter.)
"What's on the menu today?" Hikaru called out from his seat. The person he was calling out to was a beautiful woman with a buxom figure. She had long black hair reaching down her back, bright blue eyes and was wearing a stretched out purple t-shirt and blue jeans along with a white chef's apron. This was Nozomi Tachibana, Hikaru's mother.
"I told you, it's your favorite breakfast silly." Nozomi lightly teased her son before setting the plate down. The food was perfectly made scrambled eggs with bacon strips along with a piece of golden toast.
"Well then, Itadakimasu.(1)" Hikaru put his hands together and then began eating. "So then, do you have anything to talk about at school?" Nozomi asked her son. "Nothing really." He gave a small response. "Come on, I've heard some rumors of you being some 'Dark Emperor' or something? So you must have some fangirls." She pried. "Mom, it's nothing." Hikaru tried to end the conversation there. "Oh fine, I'll stop, you always get so protective of stuff like that." The woman stopped asking and rubbed her son's head.
5 minutes later...
"I'm going now. I'll see you in the afternoon." Hikaru said his goodbyes to his mother before going to school. "Stay safe, alright?" Nozomi wished her son safety and his response was to wave over his hand to her.
Kuoh Academy Outskirts – 7:20 A.M
"Look, it's the Dark Emperor!"
"He's so dreamy!"
"Kyaahhh!"
"Tch, it's that pretty boy again..."
"He's stealing all the girls, damnit!"
Originally, Kuoh Academy was an all-girls school before going co-ed a few years back. As such, the female population at the school far outweighs the male population. Also, for some unknown reason, most of the girls at the school are extremely pretty with very...nice figures.
As Hikaru walked into the school grounds with his duffel bag strap on his shoulder and eyes closed, all the girls nearby were looking at him with bright smiles and blushes on their faces and gossiping about him. Meanwhile, the men were giving him death glares as well as derogatory comments.
You see, when Hikaru transferred to the academy, because of his build, sharp eyes and tall stature, he immediately became the school's next Bishōnen(2) after Yuuto Kiba. The differences however, Kiba was a gentlemanly prince, while Hikaru was more of a handsome bad boy. As was the standard procedure in all high schools, Hikaru was given the nickname of 'the Dark Emperor' due to his preference towards blackish colors. He was also given that name due to the fact that he always beat up any delinquents that got in his way or perverts that were spying on girls.
"Hey there, Tachibana-san(3)!" A girl called out.
"Hm?" Hikaru let out a noise before turning his head to look a group of girls. As soon as he made eye contact with them, they immediately began to blush and stutter in their words. Until he said a sentence that shook their world.
"Nice to meet you." Hikaru gave a short response before continuing his way to the main building.
"He talked to us..."
"The Dark Emperor noticed us..."
"KYYYYAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" The group of girls that Hikaru spoke to all screamed at the same time, deafening anyone that was around at the time.
Class 2-B – 9:41 A.M
"Tachibana-san, can you give us the answer to this problem right here?" Miss Komiya asked Hikaru to answer the question on the blackboard. "The answer is 5,432." Hikaru replied immediately with his eyes closed and arms crossed. "That is correct, good job." Miss Komiya smiled at him before going back to the board and teaching.
"Hikaru-kun(4) got it right again!"
"Brains and brawn? He's perfect!"
All the girls in the class were currently talking to each other on how Hikaru is so amazing. As for the boys however...
"Damnit, that's the answer?"
"Nothing but a show-off..."
"Go to hell, pretty boy..."
(Issei Hyoudou's P.O.V)
That damn pretty boy Tachibana got the question right... Man why do pretty boys get all the girls?! It ain't fair, I tell you! But still... I'm glad I'm in this class because of all the amazing oppai I get to see! Issei then let out a lecherous giggle while looking at all the girls' breasts. All the girls notice this.
"Look, it's Hyoudou..."
"Ew, he's looking at us, probably undressing us with his eyes."
"Both him and the other two should just die..." All the girls stared at him with hateful looks.
An imaginary arrow came and pierced his head which fell back on Issei's desk. 'It's not fair... I just want one pair of glorious Oppai to grope! That's all I ask!' The brown-haired pervert cried both internally and literally. "Psst, Issei!" Someone whispered to me.
"Huh what's up, Matsuda?" I asked. "We just found the jackpot..." The now-named Matsuda said grimly. "Jackpot?" I replied. "That's right, the jackpot!" Issei's second friend Motohama followed up.
"What's this jackpot you two are talking about?" I answered confused. ""Don't worry, you'll see."" Both of them spoke at the same time with goofy perverted grins on their faces.
*DING DONG DING DONG*
"Ok, class, be sure to study your textbooks this afternoon. Dismissed." Miss Komiya let all the students exit their class and do whatever they want.
""Now's our chance!"" Issei's perverted partners in crime then dragged him to whatever place they were going to. Unfortunately, someone else managed to hear them talking.
'What do those three think they're doing now?' Hikaru said in his mind while giving a glare in the direction the Perverted Trio headed in. He then stood up and walked towards that direction. As he walked, any males that were nearby and saw his face immediately ran for their lives.
After School – Kuoh Academy Kendo Club – 3:18 P.M
"This spot is amazing!" Issei quietly yelled out. "I know right, the ultimate peeping spot where no one can find us!" Matsuda responded with a dumb grin on his face. "I can't wait to see the Kendo Club's glorious bodies!" Motohama said with some drool on his chin.
Matsuda, Motohama and Issei then look through the hole in the wall, trying to see the Kendo Club naked. "Hey, I can't see!" Issei protested to his friends. "Oh man, Murayama's tits are amazing!" "82-70-81." Matsuda and Motohama give their comments on Murayama's body.
"What?! No fair, let me see some of that!" Issei then tried to move Motohama and Matsuda to no avail. "Katase has some great legs!" "78.5-69-79." Matsuda and Motohama then talk about Katase's body, to Issei's frustration.
"Let me see, damnit!" Issei finally managed to move his two friends out of the way and sees the Kendo Club in their naked glory. "Oh baby, this is amazing!" Issei lets out a perverted giggle with blood dripping down his nose. All three boys are currently in their fantasies, thinking about the kendo girls' naked bodies and what they would do to them.
All of a sudden, three projectiles hit Issei, Matsuda and Motohama right on the head, sending them to the ground. "Hey?! Who did that?" Matsuda questioned. "What the... pebbles?" Motohama said confused looking at the ground where three pebbles laid.
"I thought I made myself clear the last ten times you pulled this crap." An unknown voice called out to the Perverted Trio. The three perverts in crime suddenly freeze and pale. '''Oh shit...''' All three of them thought. They then look up to see the owner of the voice revealing it to be Hikaru who was not happy due to the scowl and glare he is giving to them.
"Stop peeking on the Kendo Club already, or else I'll have to make you." Hikaru ominously said as he cracked his knuckles scaring the Perverted Trio.
"Oy, they're ours!" A voice called out, a girl judging by the high-pitched tone.
Hikaru then looks up to see the Kendo Club, all dressed in their gear, to the Perverted Trio's disappointment, with Murayama and Katase, the leaders of the club in front.
"They peeped on us, so it's only fair we get our revenge." Murayama before slapping her shinai into the palm of her hand, causing the three to be scared for the beating to come.
"Hm... Well, I'll leave you to it." Hikaru then turns around and gives a wave as he walks away.
"Wait, really, just like that?" Katase said puzzled by the immediate surrender. "As Murayama-san said, it's only fair the victims should get their revenge against their offenders." Hikaru then gives a small smile to the Kendo Club, making them blush before continuing to walk away.
"Wow, he's so kind!" A girl quietly said. "I know, as well as handsome!" Another girl responded with hearts in her eyes. "That's the Dark Emperor for you!" A third one said with an atomic blush.
As the girls were talking to each other, Murayama and Katase were staring at Hikaru's retreating figure with soft eyes and light-red blushes before getting back to the situation at hand. "Ahem. Well then, I think it's time we give the perverts their punishment..." Murayama said darkly as the Kendo Club stared at the three perverts on the ground with devilish smiles.
"""AAAAAHHHHHHHH!""" All three perverts hugged each other and screamed for their life.
Kuoh Academy – Old School Building 4:06 P.M
As Hikaru walks towards the school entrance and hears a familiar scream of three people, he gets a feeling someone is looking at him. He searches around before looking at the old school building, more specifically an open window. He then sees the one that was staring at him through the window.
The person that was staring at the young man was in fact a young girl with a voluptuous figure, she wears the Kuoh Academy girl's uniform without any modifications as well as white crew-length socks with brown school shoes, but the most notable features to Hikaru were her long red hair flowing down her back, blue-green eyes and the one red strand on top of her head.
This woman was Rias Gremory, one of the Two Great Onee-samas(5) of the school. The reason for that was because of her exotic features and the way she carries herself almost like a princess.
As the girl stares at her and he stares back, the wind picks up, causing her signature red hair to move, creating a beautiful scene of the two looking at each other. The young woman then turns around, walking back into the building like nothing had ever happened.
'That was strange, it was like she was focused on me, as if nothing else in the world existed but me.' Hikaru was slightly confused before continuing to walk, exiting the school grounds.
(Rias' P.O.V)
"Akeno, do you know who that boy was?" I asked my best friend, Akeno for an answer.
Akeno Himejima was the second Great Onee-sama, the reason being that her behavior at school is the perfect image of a Yamato Nadeshiko, with a bust that rivals if not bigger than Rias' but that is where the differences end because Akeno has long black hair tied into a ponytail with an orange ribbon with two strands sticking out and sloping backwards with violet eyes. She also wears the standard Kuoh girl's uniform with no modifications and black calf-length socks and brown school shoes.
"Ara, ara, this is new. Well, if you want to know, that was Hikaru Tachibana, a second year in class 2-B and is 17 years old. He is the school's second Bishōnen after Kiba and is known by the girls as the Dark Emperor, ufufu~." Akeno answered my question. "Why do you ask, do you have a crush on him~?" Akeno teased me.
"No, I sensed some kind of power from him but I don't know what it could be. Checkmate." I answered truthfully before ending our game of chess. "Aw, and I even upped the difficulty." Akeno lightly pouted at my win. "I'm going to take a shower." I said before taking off my clothes and entering the shower. 'Hikaru Tachibana, just who are you?' I thought to myself as I turned on the water.
I then remembered the new Evil Piece my brother gave me a few days back currently on my desk.
(Flashback)
"Ria-tan, can you come for a second?" My brother, Sirzechs asked. "What is it now, Onii-sama(6)?" I exasperatedly said to him. "Aww, don't be like that, anyways, I have something for you." Sirzechs then searched his coat pocket before taking out a chess piece but it wasn't any piece I've seen before.
The chess piece in question, looked to be similar to a King but instead of a cross at the top, there was an X and V joined together. "What is this?" I asked as I took the piece. "That is an experimental Evil Piece Ajuka made. He calls it a Vanguard piece." Sirzechs answered. "And is there a reason why he made it?" I questioned with an eyebrow raised.
Sirzechs then revealed the capabilites of the Vanguard piece. "Well, he said to me that he wanted to make a piece that was stronger than all the Evil Pieces combined and this was the result." "Stronger than all the Evil Pieces combined?! Why would you give this to me?" I asked surprised at the power this piece contained. "Why wouldn't I, you are my darling sister after all~" He answered before pulling me into a hug.
"That's not the point! I mean, why would you give this much power to me?" I escaped the hug and probed him for the answer. "Because I trust you, and I am sure you'll find someone that can handle that power and resurrect them. Also, Ajuka would like to observe the effects the piece will have on people." My brother answered me truthfully.
"Hmm... Okay, I'll trust you." I answered. "Of course you should trust me, I am your older brother after all!" He then did an embarrassing pose with a dumb smile on his face and his hands making a peace sign that people would laugh at if they saw it.
"No just...no." I then left, fed up with my brother's antics. "Uh father, what's going on?" A red-haired boy asked. "Failing, your father is failing..." Sirzechs muttered as he cried anime tears due to his fail at making Rias laugh.
(Flashback end)
'I wonder if he'll be the one worthy of that power...' I questioned in my head as I continued my shower.
Kuoh Town Bridge- 6:18 P.M
(Hikaru's P.O.V.)
After exploring the town for a bit and getting a quick bite to eat at a nearby 7-Eleven, I'm heading back to my complex.
"E-excuse me! A-are you I-Issei Hyoudou?" I hear a girl's voice nearby. "Yes I am." I then hear the boob-obsessed Issei responding.
I then see what is going on. A girl I've never seen before is currently talking to Issei. From what I see, she has black hair going down her back, wears a red jacket with a P sewn in gold on it with a white undershirt, a red tie and green skirt.
"U-um, by any chance, a-are y-you going out with someone?" The unknown girl asks. "U-um no." Issei responds with a no. "T-that's good! So um... would... w-would y-you b-b-be my boyfriend?!"
She then asks a mind-blowing question if my and Issei's reactions are anything to go by. "Y-yes! I'd love to be your boyfriend!" Issei then responds to be the girl's boyfriend, probably not thinking due to the situation.
"Really?! Thank you! I'm Yuuma Amano, it's nice to meet you." The now named Yuuma then responded with a smile. "When should we go on a date?" Yuuma then asked when their first date will happen. "How about Sunday?" Issei told her. "Ok, Sunday it is!" Yuuma agreed with him. "I'll see you tomorrow!" Yuuma then said her last part and walked away.
"YYYEEESSS! I finally have a girlfriend!" Issei was on cloud nine as he ran back to his home. I then decided to stop listening and go back home. But then I felt something hit me.
"Ow..." A familiar voice said. 'Huh? That voice...' I thought to myself. I then look down to see Yuuma. She's currently rubbing her legs because she probably ran into me and fell. "Are you ok?" I said as I offered my hand to her. "Yeah, just fell." She took my hand before looking at my face and blushing.
"You know, you shouldn't fall for another man so easily." I said to her. "H-huh?!" She was surprised at my response. "I heard you and Issei talking, your conversation wasn't the most quietest." I told her. "O-oh. I guess." Yuuma admitted. "Well then, I guess I'll see you again some day." I told her as I walked the bridge and gave Yuuma a wave. "S-same here." She responded.
However, someone was listening to the entire thing. "Need to report to Buchou(7)." A white-haired girl said.
Kuoh Academy- Old School Building – Occult Research Clubroom – 8:17 P.M
"I see, so she made contact with them and Hyoudou accepted the offer." Rias questioned. The white-haired girl simply nodded. "Thank you, Koneko. You did good." The crimson-haired girl smiled to the now named Koneko.
"So what will we do now?" A blonde-haired boy said. "For now, we'll keep an eye on them and I'll have my familiar give a flyer to Hyoudou. Until then, dismissed." Rias dimissed her servants.
"""Yes Buchou.""" Akeno, Koneko and Kiba said.
Tachibana Household- 8:22 P.M
"Tadaima(8)." Hikaru announced. ""Onii-chan(9)!"" Two voices yelled out. Then two blurred people slammed into Hikaru who didn't even budge. "What's up, you two?" Hikaru said as he smiled down to the two bear hugging him.
One was a young girl wearing a black sailor uniform and has light brown hair with blue eyes while the other was a boy smaller than the girl and Hikaru. He has short brown hair, sleepy grey eyes and wears a small t-shirt with a picture of a dragon and brown shorts. These two are Mio and Ryūto Tachibana, Hikaru's younger sister and baby brother.
"Where have you been, big bro?" Mio asked. "Just exploring the town." Hikaru answered the truth. "Onii-chan, missed you." Ryūto said with a sleepy expression. "Sorry Ryūto, I'll try to come back sooner." Hikaru pats his brother on the head which makes him happy if the stars in his eyes are to go by.
"Well, let's eat dinner and go sleep, ok?" Hikaru asked them. ""Ok."" Mio and Ryūto both said. The three then walk to the living room's kitchen counter.
"Ah, Hikaru! You're back, I was getting worried about you." The Tachibana matriarch was worried for her eldest son if her tone was anything to go by. "No need to worry, I'm fine." He responded. "Well then, I'll make dinner now." Nozomi then went ahead and started cooking. "So Onii-chan, do you have a girlfriend?" Mio 'innocently' asked. "No, I don't. And why are you even asking me that?" The brother asked puzzled.
"Because you're such a nice big brother, it's hard to imagine you wouldn't have a girlfriend." "Onii-chan, cool." Both Mio and Ryūto gave their opinions on his social status and relationships. "I know, he's so helpful at home, yet whenever school is brought up, he gets so defensive of his standing." The matriarch said with a sigh.
"Because that's something none of you need to know." The eldest son answered. "Oh well, let's stop talking and eat dinner already." With her signature smile, Nozomi set the plates on the counter.
"""Itadakimasu!""" All three children said their thanks and dug in.
(20 minutes later)
'Tomorrow is another day... hope you're watching Dad.' Hikaru thought of his father as he went to sleep, a new day awaiting him.

A flock of birds passes as Hikaru looks up to the sky on the academy rooftop

The scene then cuts to the sun as the music plays

Hikaru is currently walking as he stares into the horizon before continuing then the scene cuts to Issei looking towards the sky before looking down with eyes of determination

Hikaru, Issei, Rias, Akeno, Kiba, Koneko and Asia are all walking together and making small talk
(Kikai no you na yatsura ni)
Hikaru is staring forward until a black gauntlet similar to the Boosted Gear appears on his right hand while a white detailed sword appears in his left hand

(Shihai sareru mae ni ibasho wo sagase yo!)
The scene then cuts to the ORC preparing for combat
(Mawarimawatte saa ima kasanariatta mirai)
All the members of the ORC are fighting unknown enemies with Kiba cutting them down, Akeno using her lightning, Issei fighting with the Boosted Gear, Rias preparing her Power of Destruction, Koneko punching them with her Rook strength, and Rassei protecting Asia by shocking them and finally Hikaru slicing with the sword and striking them down with the gauntlet
(Te wo toriatte bokura chi wo hai tachimukau yo)
A bright red flash of light then shines on Hikaru and a dust cloud appears as red eyes shine through
(Mawarimawatte saa ima sora ni hanatta negai)
Sirzechs, Serafall, Ajuka as well as Sona and her peerage are quickly shown
(Maketetamaru ka!)
Hikaru and Issei are shown screaming to the heavens

A flock of birds is shown flying above Kuoh, more specifically above Kuoh Academy

Static occurs then fades as a young boy sitting on the side of the street is looking down before his eyes harden

The boy gets up and starts running as the scene ends on a white flower dripping with a bit of blood

Well, that was a bit of an underwhelming prologue. Anyway, at the end of each chapter, I'll be answering any questions you may have. Of course, I won't be responding to any hate or spam e-mails because this is my first fanfiction, there's bound to be mistakes or they just don't like it. Well, if you don't like this fanfic, then don't read it!
I know that my thing may not be as original as I thought it will be but an experimental piece created by Ajuka given to Rias was all I could come up with. And sides, this way Issei still gets reincarnated cause Rias still has the eight pawns. Also I know Hikaru's harem is HUGE, but those are the people I wanted in the harem and it's going to be that way. Not to mention, Azazel was said to have hundreds of harems and therefore hundreds of girls that loved him so don't judge me. Anyways, AnimeKing4, logging out!
