Loki had managed to rid them of both their clothes very quickly, Leah just continued to press hot kisses against his lips. Loki's hands glided down her body, making her tremble in anticipation. She was placed on Loki's lap, where she rested herself on him leaning into his hold and resting her head on his shoulder. Loki just kept his arms firmly wrapped around her, making sure that she was not going anywhere. They just stayed together like that for what seemed to be forever. Leah then remembered what she wanted to ask them before their argument when she was bathing previously.

"Do you control my nightmares?"

A small smile appeared on Loki's face which gave her the answer she wanted, she had guessed that he had something to do with it. She just looked at him waiting for him to say something but he didn't. She just raised her head to look at him seriously, however he had his eyes closed avoiding her stare. She just chuckled at him before feeling the need to kiss him come to him, she gently placed her lips against his before pulling back saying.

"Thank you."

"Why did you ask?" Loki finally frowned looking up at her his green eyes full of curiosity and thought.

"My nightmares were horrific while you were gone with Thor, it seems to be the same whenever I am separated from you actually." Leah shrugged looking at him as she ran her fingers over his naked chest as she actually thought about it now. "I just put two and two together really, I mean with you and your magic ability. I had a lot of time to think really, I couldn't sleep around Astrid, she witnessed me having one nightmare. It terrified her and I couldn't do that to her again. So I slept a hour or so here and there when Helena had Astrid away from me."

"I never thought that my magic wouldn't linger if I was separated from you." Loki seemed slightly puzzled by this as his brow furrowed. "I will have to do some research see if I rid you of your nightmares for good. I don't want you to fear sleeping if I am away, you need your energy to help raise our child."

"So you did actually put a spell on me?" Leah muttered trying to work things out in her head, before the thought came to her. She had stopped having the really bad nightmares when Loki started making his advances towards her "When?"

"That night we met on the balcony just after I was released from the dungeons, after I sensed your dream. I had watched you for some time. I had witness you having a nightmare, even seen what you had been dreaming. I only wanted to give you some relief from that, so using what strength I had after Odin had stripped me of my powers I tried. I could sense that you weren't having the worse of the dreams to no dreams at all." Loki explained glancing at her as he explained everything. "It was the only way I could help without you knowing."

"You did that even though I had rejected you after that kiss and after everything I had said to you?" Leah smiled still amazed at what he did for her before she really offered him anything.

"I cared about you little one, even then." Loki kissed her softly grinning. "You were the first person I felt capable of opening up too and definitely the first who understood me."

"Me too." Leah smiled thinking about it, knowing that it was what drew them together. "It's like we were made for each other really."

"Exactly my thoughts." Loki nodded "Promise me little one that you will talk to me about your feelings. I do not want to hear from others that you have been visiting earth and have to confront you to get the truth."

"I will try." Leah muttered looking away from him. "It's hard though, I mean I know your feelings about Midgard and the people who are like family to me. I can't forget about them even though they do not want to know me. I love them still, I miss them."

"I will try and be more understanding." Loki said but she could hear the resent in his voice, Leah knew that he was not ready for her to tell him this stuff. He obviously wasn't going to be able to cope with the idea of her trying to reconcile with Clint. "Now I need to go any see mother and apologise for my behaviour before the day passes."

"Helena should be back with Astrid shortly." Leah sighed getting up and climbing out of the bath. "I will see you for dinner tonight?" Leah frowned

"Mother mentioned something about us having a" Loki paused raising an eyebrow "family dinner."

"They are your family." Leah looked at him seriously as she began to dry herself off. "God, you need to let that go, your mother loves you, so does your father and then there is Thor too. You are surrounded by people who love you and you're an idiot if you can't see that."

Loki never said anything in reply, Leah always knew that it he would never let it go that he had been lied about his heritage. Then again with him being the god of mischief and lies he should know better than to behave like he does. Leah just shook her head wrapping the towel around her before heading to the bedroom. She was going through her dresses seeing what she was going to wear tonight to this family meal. She heard the door open and the gurgles of Astrid which implied that Helena had returned.

"Hello." Helena called

"In the bedroom." Leah called

Leah saw Astrid toddle her way into the bedroom before shrieking seeing Leah running and stumbling over before Leah picked her up. Leah smiled at her daughter, as Astrid flung her arms around her hugging Leah's neck. Helena walked into the room looking at the two of them before saying glancing at the bed.

"I see you have used the time well." Helena smirked back at Leah

"Actually we had a fight." Leah laughed at her friend. "But we made up." Leah placed Astrid on the floor and looked back at the wardrobe. "Apparently we are having a family meal tonight and I have no idea what to wear."

"It tends to be a casual affair." Helena told her "When I have been on the serving staff, they seemed to be very relaxed and not in ceremonial attire."

"Would you help me? Last time I went to one I dressed up to impress really." Leah sighed frowning.

Helena managed to pull out a dress that Leah agreed would be suitable. It was a pale green dress with no embroidery or gems on it. However it was very elegant with a square neck and tucked in at her waist. Leah sent Helena home knowing there was not much else for her to do for her and knew if Helena had nothing better to do she either had to work in the kitchen or laundry. Loki returned as Leah was just making sure her hair was placed right in a bun, while Astrid was busy playing with some of Leah's jewellery.

"How is my beautiful daughter." He greeted Astrid who was still more interested in the shiny jewellery. Loki picked her up sitting down and placing Astrid on his knee as he made the jewellery levitate which made Astrid's mouth open in awe. "In time little princess you will be able to do these simple tricks."

Leah just turned around taking the necklace out of the air placing it on before looking at Loki who just smiled and Astrid who clapped.

"I take that as an approval." Leah laughed

"You look beautiful." Loki nodded before pulling the now familiar vial of milky liquid out of his jacket holding it out to her.

"Thank you." Leah drawled back at him taking the vial and drinking it in front of him. She knew that he would rather know that she had taken it considering what he had told her about them having more children together.

"I will meet you at my parent's chambers this evening." He told her standing up and handing Astrid over to Leah. "I have some studying to do."

"Alright." Leah nodded not really knowing what else to say as he left the room. She let out a long sigh and placed Astrid back on the floor.

Leah pulled out a purple dress for Astrid to wear, though trying to stop the now very active toddler was definitely a challenge. After one tantrum, tears and crying Leah had her in the dress and Astrid sat happily playing with some dolls the Queen had given her. Leah slipped on her own dress before deciding that going on a walk to wear Astrid out was probably the best thing for all of them. Leah held her hand out to Astrid who slowly stood up taking it before they headed out into the corridors. Leah took the longer route to the King and Queens personal chambers.

Many people curtsied as they passed, it made Leah feel uncomfortable but Astrid didn't seem to notice this strange behaviour at all. Leah was just bypassing the throne room when she heard someone say.

"Excuse me."

Leah turned around to see one person she had never expected to come face to face with. Loki's wife or one of, the tall elegant woman stood before Leah staring at her before looking down Astrid. Leah could not however remember the woman's name at all.

"I am sorry but we have not been introduced." Leah said trying to sound calm but even she could hear the anxious tone in her voice.

"I know." The woman smiled. "And I know that you know who I am as much as I know who you are."

Leah just stood there looking at the woman before picking Astrid up and holding her close to her, feeling that Astrid needed protecting from this woman. Leah thought back to when she first saw the woman at the feast, talking to Loki, Volstagg said her name was. Leah thought a moment before it came to her. Sigyn one of Loki's wife.

"So you're the new interest of my husband." Sigyn smirked at Leah her eyes looking her up and down as if inspecting Leah. "And his bastard child."

"He's not yours." Leah retorted staring back at the woman before her instantly taking a dislike to her tone. "Loki has told me everything."

"Really." Sigyn sounded dangerous now stepping closer to her. "Has he told you how we have spent the pass day together."

"Yes." Leah lied convincingly, she knew that she couldn't let this woman seem like she had gotten to her. "See we tell each other everything." Leah added knowing that she needed to get the upper ground. "I make him happy, his daughter is the most important thing to him, we are a family."

Sigyn eyes narrowed before she just chuckled walking away, Leah just watched her walk off as her mind started racing with thousands of thoughts and questions. She knew only one person had answers for her but at the moment she wasn't sure if she wanted to go there.
