Leah took her time walking to meet Loki in his study, she didn't really know how to slip in that she was pregnant easily. She just placed her hands on to her abdomen rubbing it reassuringly. She didn't know why and how she had managed to get pregnant with Loki being so cautious. She looked down thinking before remembering she never took a potion after the first night Loki had returned, then again Loki had been slightly preoccupied. Leah just let out a long sigh rubbing her stomach.

She missed having someone to talk too, the Queen was great but she was Loki's mother even if adopted. Helena was with the healers and she had her own problems at the moment. She missed having friends she could talk to even if they weren't necessarily female friends. Even seeing someone like Steve at the moment or having her brother to talk to would be something but she wasn't allowed to go back to earth now. Loki wouldn't allow it, not that she really cared if he forbid her to go, if she didn't care about him being angry she would just go anyway. This though was not the time to push Loki's patience especially if she was carrying another child, she did not want a repeat of last time. She just let out a sigh, knowing that she really needed to speak to Loki about it while hoping that he would take the news well.

She just made her way to Loki's chambers where she could hear raised voices. She noticed how the door was slightly ajar, it wasn't enough for Leah to see what was going on inside but the picture was painted in her mind quite quickly. She stopped outside the door listening to the obvious argument happening within.

"Loki please listen to me." She could hear a woman's voice beg, she recognised the voice though it was soft speaking to him than it ever was to her. "She is just some whore you conquered and a bastard child was produced nothing more."

She knew how Sigyn didn't like her or want her taking Loki away from her but Loki had told her their romantic relationship was over a long time before her. She didn't understand this woman's sudden need to ruin everything Leah and Loki had together, unless it was just hatred he found someone else.

"Watch what you're saying Sigyn." Loki growled sounding angry and threatening. "That is a woman who I wish to marry and my daughter your taking about."

"Just because she gave you a child in our form." Sigyn screamed at him.

"It's not just that, I fell in love with her long before then." Loki muttered not sounding to concerned by what she was saying however Leah could hear the bitterness in his voice though, he sounded a lot like he use too.

"Please my love." Sigyn sobbed obviously trying to get the sympathy vote now.

"No Sigyn. You dare think about trying to pull something like that again." Loki shouted clearly losing patience with her. "You ever try to manipulate or make Leah doubt my relationship with her, you will pay."

"My love." Sigyn was obviously crying now "I only wanted you, I want us to work on our marriage." She could hear Loki scoff at the idea of that. "I only wanted to have you to return to my arms, for us to try again."

"Our marriage is over Sigyn, I lost interest in you centuries ago, the only thing that had us tied was our magic and I can study better without you around." Loki snarled slamming something down, she didn't like how Loki worded if but if it got the bitch to leave them alone. She couldn't believe what Sigyn was trying to do but she was proud that Loki was standing his ground about them. It proved how much he really loved them. "Give up, I do not think of you as my wife now, I give you permission to be with other men if you wish, do as you please. It doesn't matter to me now, I don't care. However if you want to stay in Asgard you're going to have to learn that Leah is going to be my wife and we will be a family."

"But we were a family." Sigyn argued back at him. "I had your children."

"No we created monsters." Loki snarled "Nothing more."

"They are still yours." Sigyn yelled at him. "One of which you shared a dungeon with."

"I know." Loki seemed to be a little sadder and reflective about what she said. "But he made his choice like I have made mine."

"But she is just human." Sigyn hissed sounding even more annoyed now. "She is nothing, she was born mortal, she is like all those others we planned to rule all those over years ago. I can give you want you want Loki, I know you better than her, think of all those years we had together." Leah could hear her tone getting seductive. "You and I were made for each other Loki."

Leah saw some movement seeing it was Sigyn but not what was happening till she saw the materials of her dress fall to the floor. Leah just bit her lip knowing that Sigyn was obviously presenting all of herself to Loki in some desperate need to win him back. There was a long pause Leah felt her heart hammer in her chest; she didn't know what to think. She couldn't hear anything, she just waited a moment till Loki muttered.

"I think you should go Sigyn." He suddenly sounded cold and distant. "I do not want to hurt Leah and I do not want this with you." Leah was about to open the door to see exactly what was happening but she was beaten to it by a flustered looking Sigyn who pushed pass her. Leah just stood there for a moment longer a little shocked and baffled what she had heard and partly seen. Slowly she entered the room which was only occupied by Loki, who had his back turned to the door hunched with his head bowed down out of sight leaning on a table. He was tensed up and looked be breathing heavily, his dark black hair hung around his face so she couldn't even see his facial expression, she could see that whatever just happened had bothered him greatly. She stopped herself going any closer in case he mistook her as Sigyn returning and to avoid any lashing out in anger he may do.

"What was that about?" Leah finally spoke up looking at him watching his every reaction to see if that gave her a better understanding of what he was actually thinking. She wanted him to tell her and not let him know she knew the majority of what the argument between Sigyn and himself. She tried to stay calm, though as she started fiddling nervously with her fingers in anticipation of a reply she could feel how clammy they were.

Loki said nothing for a good several minutes, he didn't even moved a muscle. Hesitantly Leah stepped further into the room and placed her hand on his back to see if that got a response. She could feel Loki tense up further from just her touch, Leah didn't flinch away she just waited feeling the muscles in his back slowly relax.

"Well." Leah carried on trying to keep her voice soft and calm but she could hear for herself the slight tremor in worry.

"Sigyn showed me her true intentions." Loki muttered still not bothering looking at her.

"How?" Leah continued even though she knew the answer to that question she wanted to be sure Loki wasn't going to hide something like this from her.

Loki didn't say anything again, he just slowly turned around, she could still see the cold look in his eyes as he calculated a response. She just waited being as patient as she possibly could knowing that he needed time to think and consider his wording. She could see the fire behind his eyes like when she first met him, when he was a lot angrier and bitter.

"Sigyn made her intentions clear to me." Loki finally said sounding cold and distant about it, he was obviously still furious about the argument he and Sigyn had had.

"Really?" Leah glanced at him raising an eyebrow.

"Nothing happened little one." Loki added glancing at her, Leah just smiled back up at him. "I promise you, she undressed herself in front of me and I asked her to leave that is all."

"I know." Leah muttered "I arrived at that part." She just looked up to him seeing he was now staring at her questioningly. "I didn't see everything but I knew you rejected her."

Loki just wrapped his arms around her pulling her closer against his body smirking slightly at her reply. Leah just rested her head against his chest feeling him slowly calm down and relax against her. She just closed her eyes smiling at the contact with him, it always made her feel safe, she never really expected to have that feeling after all she could do but sometimes she just needed it. She got all she wanted to hear from him, reassuring her that he no longer wanted Sigyn, like Sigyn wanted him. Gently she just placed her hand against his heart feeling it beat against her hand.

"Why are you here little one?" Loki finally asked sounding warmer towards her and a lot calmer than previously. She felt his lips graze the top of her head before kissing it softly.

"We really need to talk actually." Leah began which made him pull away from her and tense up again. She could see the questioning look in his eyes which made her worry about how he was going to react to what she was going to say next. "I am apparently pregnant, I have just found out." Leah added wincing waiting for Loki to start shouting. She didn't actually have to wait long.

"What." Loki scowled at her his voice raised. Leah looked up briefly at him to see that the angry expression had returned to his face. She knew that this was not what they had discussed and that Loki wanted to wait for a while after how Astrid arrived into the world.

"I was just as surprised love but I took Helena to the healers today because she thought she was pregnant which she is but the healers scanned me too when we arrive. I did not plan this at all Loki." Leah explained quickly knowing she needed him to understand before he lost his temper. "I know this wasn't what we wanted yet but it can't be a bad thing, I mean another Astrid can't be that bad, look how she is and what we have together."

"You mean me just watching again as I potentially lose you." Loki snapped his eyes had grown darker in his anger. Leah knew that he was being completely irrational in what he said, she just stood there watching Loki as he began to pace back and forth. She waited a good couple of minutes knowing he needed to process the information that she had given him.

"Loki listen to how stupid you sound." Leah shook her head at his flare in emotions, she knew him well enough that she needed to just get him to listen to what she said. "We had Astrid and we know by the look of things I can't give birth naturally but it doesn't mean that anything is going to happen to me"

"Did you not take the tonics I had made you?" Loki growled Leah sighed knowing that she was going to have to battle against his rising temper now. "Did you plan this?"

"No." Leah told him firmly her silver eyes staring into his darker green ones. She knew he was just looking to blame someone for the moment but didn't actually mean his words. "I did not plan this or really want this right now. But now it's happening what can we do but accept it and enjoy it."

Leah watched as Loki walked away from her, Leah just remained standing where she was. She knew that Loki needed time to digest the information which she had given him. Leah waited giving him some time as she watched Loki as he began to think. She slowly blinked letting out a sigh before looking down and hugging her abdomen reassuringly. She knew she wanted this child, she was always going to ask Loki to give them another chance to have more children together. She wanted to be surrounded by their children in a large happy family. It was all she really ever wanted after her childhood was destroyed by her parents.

"I have only just conceived by what they said, the only time I could think where we ran a risk was the night after your return. I cannot remember taking a tonic after that night." Leah slowly said knowing that he needed to realise that she was not completely at fault. "The night of the feast love remember, I had completely forgotten and it would have been too late for your tonic to work."

Loki's head shot up looking at her his eyes narrowed, he seemed to be thinking the same thing as her now. Leah just stayed where she was as he approached her.

"You didn't know, I was the one that had forgotten." Loki emitted his voice was a little calmer but he was still scowling at her. She just stayed where she was knowing that he was still like a coiled spring and could kick off but she knew that he meant it as an apology.

"It takes two to tango." Leah smirked seeing Loki frown at what she had just said, she just added. "It's a Mirgardian saying." Loki just raised an eyebrow before looking away and running his hand through his dark locks.

"So your baring child again?" Loki muttered turning back to face her looking a lot more relaxed about it now as he looked at her before glancing down at her abdomen.

"Yes." Leah nodded placing a hand over her abdomen.

Loki walked over to her placing one of his larger hands over her own. She looked down to see his hand covering her abdomen, she just smiled as she looked up at him. He seemed to have a small smile on his face as he stepped even closer against her and pressed his forehead against hers.

"Thank you." He whispered

"For what?" Leah frowned not really sure if he was thanking her for being pregnant or what.

"For being patient with me." He placed a soft kiss against her lips before saying. "It's why I love you little one."

Leah just grinned as Loki pressed her against his body before his lips met with hers in a gentle caring kiss. She just smiled against his lips feeling really happy about the new little surprise growing within her.
