"S-She did what?" Neji's face paled at hearing about the former maids shenanigans. The others snickered sadistically.

"Don't worry, she didn't take anything, you got off easy compared to Dobe" The Uchiha sighed.

"Don't remind me" Naruto sniffled.

I was surprised with how well they were all taking this. I mean, I wouldn't want another maid in the house after that, yet none objected. Perhaps they just didn't care. Guys are weird.

"So uh, I guess I should introduce myself properly?" I glanced at Sasuke for clarification. He simply nodded his head.

"So uhm, hi. I'm Sakura Haruno. I was homeless, so I tried stealing stuff from a store….but Sasuke caught me and now. I'm here" I was never good at this kinda stuff. What? everyone has their flaws. The guys didn't reply right away, they kinda stared then glanced at each other….like they didn't know what to do.

"You were brave to try stealing from an Uchiha store" The one whom I learned was Shikamaru, stated. The others nodded in agreement.

"Really?...well I stole from that store a few times. The security isn't very good." I could feel Sasukes glare from behind me. Though I ignored it.

"Well, as long as you're not digging through any drawers, I'm fine with you here" Neji sighed. The others began snickering again. "Shut up!"

"None of us want to clean anything, so it's lucky Uchiha found you. Hopefully we get a long…now" Shikamaru slowly got up from the couch. "I'm going cloud watching" with that, he exited the house; however we could still see him from the window. He actually started cloud watching. Who did that?

"Is that all?" the red head finally spoke up.

"It is" Sasuke replied.

"Well then, I'm going to my room"

"AWE GAARA, I thought we were gonna hang out!" Naruto protested.

"Not now" he groaned before leaving the living room. Out of everyone he seemed the coldest. Hopefully the two of us wouldn't have any problems.

"Well, now that, this is out of the way. I'm going to study. Nice meeting you Miss Haruno" Neji smiled slightly before also disappearing from the room.

They all seemed like easy people to get along with. They were a serious bunch, but at least they weren't assholes.

"Sakura, let's do something!" Naruto suddenly lunged at me. A squeak escaped my lips as he got close. As I prepared for impact, Sasuke grabbed the blonde by the collar.

"No, she has to prepare dinner unless you want to starve tonight"

Naruto whimpered but backed away. "Fine, you're so unfair Sasuke. Sakura, come to my room if you're bored" then, like the others. He left, to do whatever it was….Narutos did.

It was now just the Uchiha and I…alone. It was awkward; however everything was awkward when it was just us.

"So..." I began "What do you expect me to make for dinner, I can cook pretty much anything" I got up from the couch and swiftly walked over to the fridge. "Though I usually only make simple-er" once I had opened the fridge I realized it was empty.

"Hey, Sasuke"

"Hn?"

"Where's the food, there's nothing in here"

Sasuke slowly placed his paper down, turning his head to look at me. "Oh, we order take out, every night. I suppose we haven't gone food shopping in a while"

Are you kidding me?

How were these guy's not extremely fat? If it were me, I'd be as big as a house.

"So how am I supposed to make dinner then?"

"I need to run an errand anyway; I'll pick up some groceries while I'm out."

"Oh, you don't need me to tag along?..."

"No, you'll only slow me down, wait here until I come back" rude, shouldn't I be the one shopping if I'm making the food? He probably just wanted a reason to leave.

"Fine, but you better hurry, it's getting late"

"Who's the boss of whom here?"

"Yeah, whatever, just go."

While I waited for the Uchiha's return, I was able to clean the bathroom after the mess Naruto and I made during our first time meeting. From the look of things it didn't seem like anything else needed to be cleaned, so I had some free time. What was a maid supposed to do when she had free time?

I thought chatting with Naruto might be entertaining, but when I went to enter his room, I noticed he was fast asleep. I couldn't wake him up while he looked so peaceful…and drooly.

Shikmaru was still outside staring at clouds and Neji was studying. I couldn't bother them either. The only one left was Gaara however; he didn't seem like the chatting type.

After a bit of debating I decided to take my chances, worst case scenario would be that he kicks me out of his room.

Gathering all the courage I had, I walked towards his bedroom door.

Knock, knock, knock

"What is it?"

Ah, so he wasn't asleep, that was good, but what was I supposed to say now?

"Hi, uhm. I noticed we didn't get to talk much before so. I thought..Uhm… maybe we could get to know each other?...since we'll be living together from now on. I mean…it's cool if you don't want to. I'm just a maid after all…..but yeah..hehe."

Wow, that wasn't creepy at all, way to go Sakura!

"…..Come in"

H-He's actually letting me in?

Whoa….I wasn't expecting that.

I cautiously opened his door before entering the room. Gaara was sitting on his bed, reading a book. When he heard me come in, he placed it down on his bedside table. Was he studying?

I hope I didn't interrupt him.

"S-Sorry, I didn't mean to distract you from your studies"

"You didn't, I'm reading this for entertainment" He stated, gazing at me with an emotionless expression.

Wow, even I wasn't a huge fan of reading in my free time. Maybe it was an interesting book.

GASP. Maybe….it was like….porn.

Was it something like 5 shades of gray?

No, Sakura, NO.

You shouldn't think such things. It's improper.

"Oh I see, so this might be sudden to ask, but I was wondering why you decided to live here?" hopefully this question didn't seem rude. I just wanted to get to know everyone. Plus I was curious.

"It's a long story, you may sit, by the way" he gestured to his bed. I wasn't sure if I should accept the offer, but did anyway. "T-Thanks, long story?"

"My home life is a bit twisted to say the least"

"Oh, I-I see."

"Because of certain circumstances I'll become head of the family instead of my elder brother."

"That must be stressful to think about" He probably had a lot of responsibility. I wonder why he's doing this instead of his brother.

"Yes. However, the reason I left was due to the fact I'd have to marry my sister"

His….SISTER?

WHAT!?

WHY?

That's just….TERRIBLE.

"Sister?"

"Yes, my family wants to keep the family blood 'Clean'…so marriages within the family are demanded. Both I and my sister did not wish for this. So I left the family estate. Naruto ended up inviting me here. So that's how I started living in this house"

He must have been through a lot. I can't believe he was so open in telling me this. Though that was a completely reasonable, reason for leaving.

His sister?

How disgusting.

"I-I'm sorry…that's terrible"

"Was that too much information?"

"N-No… not at all…I'm glad you were comfortable enough to tell me something like that. Learning new things about people is great"

Before Gaara could reply, the sound of a door opening could be heard. Sasuke must have been back.

"Ah, Sasuke bought groceries; I'll be making dinner tonight. Is there anything you'd like to eat?"

"….curry rice. I haven't had that in a while"

"Alright, I'll do my best to make it good!"

"…."
