Heimdall brought them back to Asgard. Leah just held on to Astrid who had by then fallen back to sleep. She was amazed that Astrid was able to sleep though travelling this way. Steve and Clint seemed a little daze as they stumbled out of the transportation. Leah just stood there looking at her two friends as they stared in awe at Asgard. To be fair Leah still found it completely breath taking, it was such a beautiful place.
"Lady Leah." Heimdall bowed slightly looking curiously at Leah and the people with her.
"Did any one miss me?" Leah asked her friend stepping closer.
"No one knows you have left Asgard if that is what you mean Leah." Heimdall answered staring at her. "However Prince Thor and Loki will be arriving back shortly from their hunt. I would recommend you to go to your chambers if you do not want to bump into them."
"Thank you." Leah nodded smiling at him. "Come on guys."
They walked back to her chambers many people stopped them on their walk back to the chambers wishing her good luck and best wishes for the day ahead. Leah just smiled and nodded back at them, eventually they managed to get back to her chambers. She found it exactly the way she had left it apart from the breakfast that had been left for her. She stirred Astrid sitting her down at the table and putting some fruit and bread in front of her. With only the one tantrum Astrid started to eat her breakfast.
"Sit down guys, eat something." Leah told them.
Leah just sat beside Astrid as the men sat down as tucked into the breakfast, it was completely serial to have them all here. Leah just watched them scoff the food down as Astrid climbed on to her lap cuddling up against Leah before falling back to sleep. The pass twenty four hours had obviously taking its tow on her.
"I never thought I would ever see you like this." Clint commented.
"Like what?" Leah frowned a little confused by what he said.
"So motherly." Clint added
"I don't know, I remember what you were like with me. You have always been a kind and gentle person. I guess it just took the right person." Steve shrugged.
"She wasn't planned." Leah sighed rolling her eyes at both men as she brushed Astrid's black hair. "Though she is perfect. I am going to lay her down for a bit."
She put Astrid down in her cot walking back into her room seeing Clint and Steve still sitting at the table a little awkward. She just laughed pouring two goblets of wine and handing it to them sitting back down at the table and picking at some fruit.
"Don't drink too much I do not want you two half cut when it's time for the wedding. This stuff is pretty strong."
The door opened which made both men jump, Leah just looked around them too see Helena waddle into the room. She was huge, pregnant huge, Leah's mouth almost hit the floor, Leah moved around the men before hugging her before pulling back and looking at her bump.
"Oh my your massive." Leah smiled placing her hands on the baby bump.
"Yes and its strong." Helena laughed, she then noticed the two men nearly screaming on the spot. Leah suddenly remembered the bad experience Helena had on Earth. Leah just turned to look at the men before back to Helena.
"Hush." Leah told her trying to be reassuring. "They are here as my family. All is well now."
"But, but." Helena stared at Leah for a moment till she said. "You have been to Midgard haven't you."
"Yes." Leah nodded "I got a wedding gown and spoke to my brother. Clint." Leah took Clints hand pulling him forward. "Clint this is Helena my friend, Helena this is Clint my brother. You remember Steve don't you Helena." Helena only managed to nod still looking at the two men.
"Prince Loki will not be happy when he finds out." Helena commented glancing at Leah.
"He will be my husband by the time he knows about it." Leah laughed. "Just leave him to me. Meanwhile what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be resting?"
"I couldn't miss this day and not support you. Prince Loki insisted I rest but I could not let a friend down. Now come on, you need to start getting ready, prince Loki is not a patient man." Helena rose an eyebrow at Leah before hustling her into the bedroom to start getting her ready.
Leah started getting ready for the wedding, after bathing and Helena had done her hair. Helena had done a beautiful job too, she had threaded little gems into her hair before putting it up, so when her hair caught the light in a particular way they shimmered. The rest of her hair was left loose but curled with the same gems threaded through them. Leah stepped out of the bedroom to see Clint and Steve relaxing with their feet up in their suits chatting. Steve had gotten into his old military uniform, while Clint was in a black suit both of them looking great. Leah just stood there for a moment watching them together.
"Wow." Steve stood up staring at her.
"I am not in my dress yet." Leah giggled sitting down beside them. "You two don't scrub up too badly though."
"I cannot believe my little sister is actually getting married and living here." Clint looked around again. "You're a mom and about to be married."
"Mmmm." Leah picked up one of the boys goblets taking a sip of wine. "Trust me I have pinched myself a good couple of times to make sure this isn't a dream."
The door opened again and Jane walked in wearing a beautiful navy blue dress with golden embroidery. She seemed a little stunned to see Steve and Clint sitting there but realised immediately what Leah must have done. Her eyes fell on Leah she just cocked her head questioningly
"So you have been busy." Jane grinned "You must be Clint." She offered her hand to Clint who shook it staring at Jane for a moment.
"Your Thor's." He paused glancing at Leah.
"Girlfriend." Leah added smirking at her brothers inability to actually use the word best to describe Jane and Thor's relationship. "Can you give me a hand?" Leah smiled at Jane as she stood up.
Jane just nodded heading into the bedroom with Leah. After nearly an hour of getting into the dress, there were a lot of hidden zips before the delicate buttons to do up at the back. Leah knew that Loki was probably going to find it very frustrating to get her out of which made her smirk to herself. Leah was ready. Jane had left her alone for a few minutes. Leah just stood in front of the mirror her mouth slightly open. It was now real, she was getting married to the man she loved. It was more than she could have ever dreamed. She stared her reflection in the mirror, she ran her hand along the lace material which cover her. Her baby bump was just emerging, but not enough for people to realise what it was. The dress was still breath taking, she loved how her shoulders looked without straps, the sweet heart cut emphasised her breasts, it was a tight corset fitted from her bosom to below her hips. It gave her the lovely womanly curved but at the same time made her look incredibly skinny. She turned slightly seeing the odd sparkly that was sequins attached to the lace. She did looked beautiful, she just hoped Loki liked it.
"You okay sis?" Clint asked stepping into the bedroom.
"Better knowing you're here." Leah turned to look at him smiling. "How do I look?"
"Wow you look," Clint paused for a moment. "Amazing."
"Thank you." Leah blushed slightly feeling tears come to her eyes. This was more than perfect to her, this was what she had wanted for ages to have everyone she loved close to her.
"You ready for this." Clint began
"Clint." Leah rose a warning eyebrow staring at him.
"Not like that." Clint shook his head smiling up at her. "If he makes you this happy I give you my blessing."
"Thank you." Leah smiled up at Clint as tears began to fall. She took a deep breath in before wiping the stray tears away before it ruined her make up. "I think I am ready now." She nodded.
Helena had dressed and kept Astrid occupied with Steve. Astrid had managed to charm Steve who was currently throwing her in the air and catching her, Leah had every faith in Steve that he was not going to drop her. Making Astrid giggle hysterically, it was like music to the ears. Leah glanced at Clint who took hold of her hand squeezing it, she then took a moment to look around. Jane almost looked like she was about to cry along with Helena who had already started while Steve was holding Astrid both of them smiling at her. Everyone who was like family to Leah was here apart from the man she fell in love with who was hopefully in one piece waiting for her to arrive.
There was a thunderous knock at the door, Helena hurried as fast as she could in her condition to the door. As she opened it there were two fully armed guards in their entire ceremonial attire, Helena fully opened the door as they stepped in. Leah watched them as they bowed towards her before standing up to their full height before one of them said.
"Lady Leah are you ready to be escorted to the ceremony."
Leah could only manage to nod back at them, they followed behind the guards there was no one in the normally busy corridors of the palace. It was such a serial moment to have. They stopped outside the great halls giant golden doors.
"Wait here Lady Leah." One guard told her as they entered the hall.
Leah just took a deep breath in turning looking at her friends and family around her. She could feel herself begin to shake as the pre wedding jitters started. She felt Clint take hold of her hand as she looked at him she could see the frown on her face.
"Are you okay?" He asked sounding a little concerned.
"Yes." Leah nodded knowing it was stupid. "Just a little nervous and excited I guess."
The doors opened again, Thor stepped around the door looking slightly shocked by the crowd which waited. He just looked at his fellow team mates and his girlfriend before looking down at Leah looking very confused.
"This is surprising." He muttered obviously not really sure what to make of Clint and Steve being in Asgard.
"I wanted them here." Leah sighed smiling looking up at Thor. "How is he?"
"He has been very quiet all day." Thor replied now grinning. "But he has been eager to come home and see you."
"Good." Leah nodded "I am going to have Clint give me away now, if that is okay." Leah felt slightly bad about now turning Thor down to give her away. "Sorry."
"No it is the right thing." Thor nodded. "Captain, Jane if you will come with me I will take you in. I will see you Leah on the sound of the horns."
"Steve will you keep hold of Astrid." Leah asked looking at Steve who just nodded a reply. They went through the golden doors just leaving Leah and Clint alone.
Leah just stared at her brother feeling happier than she had for a while. Clint gave her a hug, to the best of his ability considering her dress got in the way. Leah felt herself begin tear up again as she pulled back saying.
"I love you brother."
"I love you too little sis."
Leah heard the sound of the loud horns blare from behind the golden door. She just smiled at Clint nodding letting him know that she was ready. Both of the doors opened revealing the large crowds which had gathered to see the marriage of her and Loki. Leah just stood there shocked as Clint took her arm and started to walk with her down the golden path towards the altar and towards Loki.
