Okay, okay! So I've written the new chapter, I know you'll enjoy it. So enjoy!

Disclaimer: I don't own Adventure Time; I just ship BubbleGuy! (I swear I'm the only person who ships this!)

Fionna's POV:

I grab onto Marshall's thick fur as we soar through the starry night sky. I tilt my head back at the stars as a wide grin crosses my lips.

I close my eyes to the soothing sound of the wind gliding through Marshall's huge bat wings. I lay my head down on his furry back and run my fingers through his soft fur. Just relaxing as I hear Marshall's soft chuckle, the laughter rumbling in his chest.

I don't mind it, but sometimes I think of the times he's used this form against me. My grip tights through his fur, as I cringe at the thought. Deep down I know the one thing that will never leave my mind and heart. Deep down...

Marshall is a monster.

And I'm just a human.

It's a forbidden love... He will live forever and me. I'll just fade through the years of his immortal life. I can be killed and he'll just move on. I'll be gone in an instant. A tear runs down my cheek. I bury my face in his fur.

"Fi?" Marshall's concerned voice beings me back. My head pops up instantly, wiping the tear away. "Fi? Are you alright back there?" I see Marshall trying to look at me from the corner of his red eyes.

I shoot him a fake smile, "I'm fine."

His gentle smile tears through my heart with guilt. "I love you," he says sincerely. He turns his head to focus on flying again. My heart beats rapidity. I feel awful. I love him so much...I just don't want to see him hurt, when I'm gone.

We finally arrive at the century bash, which is being held in this abandon mansion. It was probably destroyed in the war, but now it gleams like a wonderland. Colorful strobe lights flashed through all the shattered windows, music blasting from every angle, glitter and confetti raining down like snow. The party god really out did himself this year. Oh course he has a century bash every year, which is weird to me.

Marshall grabs me from behind and kisses my neck as I let out a frantic giggle. He lightly tickles me as I squirm in his tight embrace. His soft lips trail up to the edge of my ear. I can feel a soft tug from his fangs against my ear.

"Ready," he whispers in a low husky voice, which just sends chills of lust through my whole body. I nod my head, and he releases me. I feel a soft trail of his fingers wander around my hand, as he laces his fingers through mine. I look up to see his curly locks covering most of the gentle look in his eyes. A fanged smile creeps up on his lips as he pulls me towards the house.

When we reach the front door, two girls, one a ghost, and a guy catch Marshall's attention. They rush up to him like he was a god that should be worshiped and at the same time they wanted to rip his undead throat out. "Marshall Lee!" yells the human-looking girl, "You're late!" It was very hard to hear her over the music blasting.

"We're on in two minutes," yells the guy, a vampire from the looks of it. The ghost girl just crosses her transparent arms in disapproval.

Marshall rubs the back of his neck nervously, "Sorry guys...someth-" He wasn't able to finish his sentence when his band members drag his royal butt to the huge light stage. I laugh at him as he looks back at me over his shoulder and shrugs. After he's left my sight I walk towards the stage, shoving my way through the crowd of people. I bet everyone from Aaa is here tonight, and I mean everyone.

When I finally make it to the stage, Marshall and his band are already up there and setting up. I watch Marshall sling his red guitar over his shoulder and begin to tune it. The human-looking girl sets up a keyboard, the Vampire guy start to strum a bass, and the ghost girl twirls her drumsticks as she slams her red cowboy boots on the kick drum. Marshall flips his black bangs, and all the girls start to squeal. I grimace at the fact he has so many fangirls.

Marshall makes eyes contact with me and my heart starts to flutter furiously. It makes me happy that he only has eyes for me. He winks and all the girls swoon as I roll my eyes, holding back a smile.

"Thank you for letting us play tonight!" Marshall yells, "I would like to give a shout out to my lovely lady! You know who you are!" Heat rises in my cheeks as Marshall shoots me a smirk. Marshall slams his fingers on the cords of his guitar as the sound vibrates through the house.

"They say freak! When you're singled out! The red, well it filters through!"

The music blasts through everyone cheering, even me.

"So lay down, the threat is real! When his sight goes red again! Seeing red again, Seeing red again! This change, he won't contain! Slip away! To clear your mind! When asked, who made it show. The truth, he gives in to most!"

He bangs his head to the beat, as his band members smile, obviously enjoying themselves. He looks happy. He grabs onto the mic as his red glare gazes deeply into the audience. His voice mesmerizing them, "So lay down, the threat is real, when his sight goes red again." He lets his band members play their solos.

A fanged smile plays on his lips, he takes a deep breath and screams, "SO LAY DOWN-!"

The crowd goes in uproar, screaming in excitement. Marshall laughs, and his band members play louder in the moment.

"So lay down, the threat is real! When his sight goes red again. So lay down, the threat is real! When his sight goes red again."

Marshall strums his guitar lightly as his band's music starts to decrease in volume. He whispers continually, "Seeing red again, Seeing red again." He whispers and the music starts to get louder and louder. My heart begins to pound with the beat of Marshall's increasing strumming, suddenly becoming in sync. Marshall screams as everything stops, "SEEING RED-!..."

The music begins again and louder than it was. My heartbeat quickens as I see Marshall's fanged smile. I light run my fingers over my neck where his fangs scraped me. To be honest...I really wanted Marshall to bite me.

The music begins to slow down. "They say freak...When you're singled out. The red, it filters through..." And with that last note the music begins to fade.

The whole party becomes in complete silence. Marshall looks up at his frozen audience, worried. Suddenly the whole party screams and yells in applause, even me. Marshall's face become flushed in embarrassment as his band members rush up and tackle him in a hug. Marshall holds up his guitar in victory and yells, "Marshall Lee and The Scream Kings!" Everyone cheers, wanting more as he leaves the stage.

A few minutes later I'm attacked with another hug by the Vampire King, with three smiling faces behind him. Marshall puts his arm around me and introduces me to his friends and band members. "Fionna I would like you to meet my friends. This is Girl," he points to the human-looking girl, "Kevin," the Vampire guy nods, "And Bonga." The ghost girl smiles at me.

I smile at all of them, "Nice to meet you." They say likewise. Marshall starts to have a conversation with Girl. It really throws me off, I thought I was the only human left.

I tap Marshall on the shoulder, and he leans down so I can whisper in his ear. "I thought I was the only human in Aaa?" Marshall looks back at my concerned face and laughs.

He whispers back, "Girl is a changeling." Relief floods through me, as I nod. Marshall smiles. Suddenly Girl lets out a fangirlish squeal, as she jumps up and down. Kevin and Bonga cover their ears.

"It's Prince Gumball!" She points to the pink prince in the distance. Dread washes over me, he was last person I wanted to see. Marshall's embrace tightens around me, I look back to see his assuring expression. It's just like he was reading my exact thoughts. I smile back that him, thanking him.

Girl looks back at Marsh with pleading eyes to go over to her prince. Marshall sighs, "I'm not stopping you." He lightly smiles and nods to Gumball, "Go." Girl smiles widely and howls in excitement. She runs over to Prince Gumball, huge smiles spread across both of their faces. I watch as she laughs at something he says. I smile to see both of them so happy. I suddenly feel Marshall nudge me in the arm, and I look up to see him wiggling his eyebrows. I roll my eyes and lightly punch him in the stomach. He laughs evilly.

Soon after that Kevin and Bonga go to dance and enjoy themselves, leaving Marshall and I alone. Awkwardness washed over me. What do I do? I've never been on a date with Marshall before! Like an actual date! I nervously bit my bottom lip, what should I say?

I turn to Marshall and say, "I really enjoyed your song."

He looks back at me and glares at me with those deep crimson eyes of his. I literally felt my heart melt as he smiles excitedly. "Really? Well I'm glad."

I shoot him a small smile. My feet shift from foot to foot, letting the music take me. Marshall smiles and wraps his arms around my waist, pulling me closer. He rocks with me as my back is pressed against his firm chest. My face becomes flushed. I see Marshall lick his lips from the corner of my eye. "What," I squeak.

He smiles, "Nothing. It's just that your blush just looks good enough to eat." The joking tone in his voice ticks me off. He'll never change. I smirk and lightly stomp on his foot. "Ow," he says offended.

I giggle, "Oh! Suck it up you big baby." Marshall smiles and buries his face in my neck, making the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. His arms get tighter around me, burying his face deeper into my skin. My heartbeat skips in excitement, as my breath falters. "Marsh," my voice jumping up an octave.

"So warm," Marshall says dazedly. My eyes narrow, really Marshall?. I sigh, it's true. My body temperature has increased from being in an overly crowed area, and Marshall isn't helping.

"Marsh," I say in a polite voice, "Will you get me a glass of punch." I feel Marshall nod against my neck. Next thing I know Marshall has unwrapped himself from me and gone to get what I asked for.

I smile to myself. Marshall has always been kind, but sometimes flirty and mean. But that's what I love about him. He doesn't care about what anyone thinks; he goes and continues to be himself. Though he can still feel shy and second guessing himself, I'm just glad to be here to catch his fall.

I walk out of the dancing crowd, trying to get some space. I lean against the wall watching the smiles on people's faces as they dance. It's not that I don't like dancing and parties. I love them! I just feel like I shouldn't be here, an uneasy feeling keeps nagging in the back of my mind.

I hear giggling that catches my attention, I look around the corner to see who's giggling that is. My eyes widen to see Gumball and Girl talking to each other, clearly enjoying each other company. I smile to see each of them happy, I'm happy for both of them. I'm not jealous. I have someone who loves me, and I him. I just want Gumball to find the same happiness.

"What are looking at?" I hear whispering in my ear. I jump from the surprise and turn around to find Marshall, holding two red plastic cups. I blink a few times, trying to wipe the guilty expression off my face. Marshall raises an eyebrow and smirks. He hands me my drink, I look down at the red liquid with my cup. Marshall leans against the faded, pealing striped wallpaper, swirling the punch in his cup. "So," he says playfully, "having fun spying on your ex?"

I shoot him a look and my eyebrows knit furiously together. "He is not my ex!" I look away embarrassed. "Besides," I say quietly, "We never went out." Marshall smiles and leans in towards me, and kisses me lightly on the cheek. My eyes widen as my fingers lightly bush over the spot he kissed me. My eyes shoots back to him, just to find that smug look on his face.

"Well," he says shrugging his shoulders, "I'm glad I got to you first." A devious smile spread across his face, as I let out a cheerful laugh.

"Hey Mar-Mar," says a familiar girly voice. The color drains from Marshall's face, horrified by the voice. But soon quickly replaced with another emotion, rage. I watch as those gentle red eyes become filled with hatred.

He quickly turns to confront the voice. I look as well to feel as my heart stopped. I see the beautiful gray skinned bombshell, with long pulled back white hair as her deep black eyes stare through you, looking deep into your soul. Her name sticks in my throat, I thought we got rid of this witch?

"What do you want Ashley?" Marshall says, gritting through his teeth.

She plays with a fake smile, "Oh I just wanted to say you did awesome performing."

Marshall's eyes narrow in suspension, "Oh really? Is that the only thing?"

Ashley slyly smile forms her wicked expression, wrapping her arm around Marshall's. Pressing her self against him, which burns me through every fiber of my being. I grit my teeth, about to rip her apart any second. Her slim fingers run down his chest, flirtatiously. "I want you, Marshall Lee. I want you to be mine again."

My jaw drops, completely shocked. Marshall isn't doing anything to stop her begin all over him. Well she is prettier that me…sexier too. But it still doesn't change the fact that, She. Is. A. WITCH! And I hate her.

Marshall's expression becomes disgusted and rips Ashley away from him self. "Well I don't want you!" Marshall hisses, "I absolutely hate you." Ashley's eyes go cold from being rejected…again. Marshall wraps his arm around my shoulder and smiles proudly. "And I've moved on! I'm dating Fionna now." My face becomes stained red, he says it with so much confidence. And I still can't wrap my mind around it.

Ashley glares at me with pure hatred, like I would go exploding at any second. "Oh she is now," Ashley says coldly but threatening. Her expression changes to amusement, "Ha! Marshall Lee the Vampire King is dating a weak pathetic mortal!"

Marshall pulls me in protectively. He makes a low growl, warning Ashley. His bares his fangs in rage. He gets in Ashley's face, "Yes, I'm dating her. I chose to date her and yes she's a mortal. My mortal. And she's not pathetic. She is the strongest, bravest, most wonderful, most kind-hearted person I've met. I love her and if you have a problem with that you'll have to deal with me. Because I'll protect what I love and you can suck that Ashley. Now leave us alone."

Her glare becomes menacing. "Fine," she says flatly. She turns on her heel and disappears into the crowed. After she's out of sight Marshall relaxes and sighs. I smile and snuggle closer to him in his embrace. I'm glad he protected me and stood up for me.

I close my eyes, feeling safe next to him. "I love you," I whisper.

He kisses the top of my head and I feel Marshall resting his forehead on my head. "I love you too," he whispers back. A giggle escapes my lips, as does a laugh from him.

We enjoyed ourselves at the party, getting down on the dance floor, to playing games. Unfortunately I noticed Cake and Lord M at the party and we had to leave.

Marshall Lee drops me down gently on my cold wooden floor in the Tree Fort. I hop onto my bed and look up to see Marshall floating above me. He leans down and gently kisses me goodnight. We calmly break way, as my heart beats rapidly. I see Marshall opening the window from my bedroom. He looks back and smirks, "See you tomorrow night Fi." And in an instant he was gone.

I flop down on my bed, looking up at the ceiling. My heart won't stop racing and the feeling of Marshall's soft lips against mine tingles on my lips. I quickly feel the tiredness overwhelm me. Soon drifting off to sleep…thinking about him.

Whoo! That was fun! More will be reveled next time, as the plot begins to surface! That song is Red by Chevelle, it reminds me a lot of Marshall.
