Chapter 2: Demon Lord, Meets The Two

The two fighters couldn't let the gas in their 3D Maneuver Gears to deplete any further. As they were looking at the empty sky, they started to notice that they should not stay on the rooftop for any longer.
"Anyway, for now we have to find a way to return back home." Levi said. "We need to find a help."
"A help? But is there anyone in this place who knows us?"
"Hmm, I don't know about that, but if we walk around, maybe we can find a clue. For now, let's go down. We can't let 3D Maneuver to lose anymore gas."
"Right."
They used their 3D Maneuver Gears again to go down towards darker areas so they wouldn't be seen by other people. As they exited the dark alley, they arrived at a street. They continued to walk towards nowhere until a voice called them from behind. "Hey, you two over there!"
Eren was the first one to turn back. What he saw was someone wearing blue uniform and a black hat. "You're not people from around here, huh?"
They didn't know what to answer, but they realized that they were using the same language. "Oh, uh..."
Levi stayed calm as he just glanced towards the man. Eren was confused on what to say too. "We're new to this area, so we still don't know way around here." The Corporal calmly took over the situation.
The police took a small look at the two's attires and then chuckled a bit. "This situation reminds me of something."
"Huh?" Eren was rather confused.
"Back then, there were two people with weird clothes and language who suddenly appeared here. We had a hard time handling them too."
Hearing this, Eren soon looked at the Corporal, as the latter nodded his head. The boy soon looked at the man again with at least a little bit of hope. "C-can you show us the way where they are!?"
However, the man's answer was not really satisfying. He just scratched his head. "Well, too bad that I don't really know where they are now, but how about you stay at the police station tonight? It's been quite rough around here lately."
The turquoise-eyed teenager once again looked at Levi, as if awaiting for his approval. The shorter one stayed silent for a while before he walked towards the man. "Is it going to be okay?"
"Of course. It's not rare to see some people to stay a night in the station. We can't have you two stay over there all the time though. You have to find a place to stay for the next days."

There were not many decent rooms in the station, so the two boys were given a small room with air-conditioner and also futons. Despite the room was small, it was rather nice for those two. "Just press the switch to turn off the lights." The man said as he left the two.
However, the duo was still overwhelmed by the use of electricity in the world they were in. Before going to sleep, they discussed about their current situation first.
"Just by looking around, it's clear enough that we have landed in a different world. We should refrain from using the 3D Maneuver Gear for a while to preserve its gas. Tomorrow, let's find a way to the people that he mentioned earlier." Eren nodded in agreement. "Make sure we don't stand out too much, so we have to hide our Gears inside the cloak."
"Right."
After hearing Eren's word, Levi grunted a bit and then put himself down on the futon. After turning down the switch, Eren looked at the outside's night view. It was completely different from his world. The night view was better than ever. Better than his world. Even though he could clearly see the stars in his previous world, but everyday the citizens lived in fear of the Titans. In this place, even though it was full of blinding lights, the citizens didn't look worried or anything.
He looked at the environment for a while before putting himself into the futon and then drifted to his dream world.

After saying goodbye and gratitude to the men in the police station, they left with their cloaks on. As they walked the daylight, they noticed that the town had gone busier than ever. They continued walking down the avenue, trying to find any unusual people around. Several minutes later, they exited an alley, and right on time, a bicycle was about to crash them.
"Whoa! Careful!"
Eren and Levi soon turned their heads towards the voice calling out. The turquoise-eyed boy pushed the Corporal behind immediately, but then as the result expected, the bicycle hit him. The biker and Eren fell at the same time. "Ouch... You okay? Sorry about that..."
"I'm alright..." Eren scratched his head slowly, as Levi stood up and helped the biker to stand.
The two looked at the biker as he tapped his clothes from dusts. The biker had a dark green hair, and a pair of brown eyes with a vertical pupil. He was wearing casual attires. Another voice from another direction. "Milord!"
The biker soon looked back. "Ashiya? What are you doing here?"
The other man had a shoulder-length dusty yellow hair. He was higher than the biker too. "You forgot your wallet. I told you to wake up earlier, right?"
"Whoa, I totally forgot! Thanks!"
"Please be careful from now on. I cannot keep on chasing you around-" The man called by Ashiya soon paused when he saw two people behind the biker. "Oh, Milord, who are they?"
"Ah, I just crashed onto them on my way to work." The biker turned his head towards Eren and Levi. "I haven't introduced myself, huh? My name is Maou Sadao. This guy is Ashiya Shiro."
"Pleasure to meet you." Ashiya bowed his head a bit.
Eren was caught by surprise a bit before introducing himself in return. "O-oh... My name is Eren Jaeger."
"I'm Levi." The Corporal just spoke calmly.
After few minutes of silence, Maou soon realized something. "Agh! I gotta go quick to my part-time job! Sorry, but I gotta run!"
"Have a safe travel, Milord."
Maou took the bicycle and then started biking again. "Let's go, Dullahan!"
...
"Well then, I shall take my leave too." Ashiya was about to leave the two, until Eren called out to him.
"Um, Ashiya." The latter turned his head again. "Actually, we're not from around here, so we're not familiar with this area. Can you lead us the way?"
"Oh, it's fine. Where are you going?"
"We're looking for people like us."
"Like you?" Ashiya did a short scanning around their clothes. They sure wore weird attires. Well, he couldn't say anything since he was pretty much the same when he and Maou came to this world.
"You see, uh..." Eren stammered since he couldn't find better words to explain their situation.
Levi sighed a bit before he finally spoke. "We came from a faraway place."
Ashiya went silent for a while since he was thinking what he should do. "Alright, I suppose I can help. Let's go to our apartment. Take a rest first."
The two didn't seem to go against the idea. They followed Ashiya to his place.
