A few hours of discussion later Maul announced it was time for evening meal. The council agreed to meet again the next morning at the usual time and went their separate ways. Looking at his daughter, Oppress made a motion to Obi-wan's group and she gave the slightest acknowledgement. Stepping up to them, "Uncle has ordered the old storage hall prepared for your stay, please look at it before deciding your course."

So she had heard the hushed question of if they were going back to the ship. Showing no discomfort the General gave his familiar smile. "Lead the way Shadow." Raising her eyebrow slightly in almost a quizzical look she did lead the way to the other side of the village, but the General spoke to her as the group walked. "I have heard several Dathmarian names in my time, but yours does not fit the pattern."

Her answer was quiet, "Because it is the name my father gave me, not my mother." Looking over her shoulder at them before she focused in front again, "Males need to be named things with ferocity and use while females, the mother chose a name with meaning to herself that she would teach her daughter over time." A shrug, "My mother died before I can remember her and so my father named me according to my behavior," seeing their expressions, "I have always lived in my kins shadow."

Filling the silence Obi-wan spoke, "So your father called you his shadow and the name stuck?"

Her head motion was somewhere between a 'pretty much' and 'well' but she didn't elaborate. Instead she pointed to a larger building up ahead that was leaning slightly to one side, "There it is." Looking at them, "The story goes that the first night brothers built it and imbued it with magic for protection."

Waxer smiled at her and asked curiously, "From what?"

Rubbing a place on her forehead like other Zabracks do when uncertain, "That's where the story differs." Stepping forward she quickly got ahead of them before they realized and hurried to catch up. She was talking to a tall orange Zabrack that looked her age. They could hear her say, "If you ruin this Father…"

Both turned and looked at the Republic party. The male Zabrack had the exact same expression Savage Oppress always had when Maul was taking the lead. Stepping forward Obi-wan spoke, "You must be Shadow's brother."

The young Zabrack looked at his hand in confusion with his own clasping a staff. Nodding once he said, "Brutal."

Shadow stepped in to fill the gap, "Father named my twin in honor of the Uncle who raised him."

Seeing the orange youths look of challenge the resemblance to his father was uncanny. Still this was a diplomatic mission, "It is nice to meet you, although I don't know if I want to do battle with you." The clenched jaw released as Obi-wan continued, "I have nearly lost my life to your Father and Uncle many times and do not want to risk losing it to you."

Bowing to him, "It is my Uncle who would challenge you, not I."

With that the youth bowed and left them before Shadow motioned them to follow her once more. She brought them to the leaning building and they found that inside it was beautifully crafted, with space to shelter them and some left over. Any hint that the building might be unstable was all on the outside. Seeing their confusion, "We had to hide what was most valuable where no one would think to look."

Obi-wan saw spaces where young children could fit, their drawings and toys. He nodded once in understanding. Shadow saw it and said, "I'll make sure your meal is brought to you." With that she was gone.
