After 6 months of being undercover, it was finally over. No more Albanian parties filled with drugs, liquor, and the girls. No more being out at parties at 3 am, no more setting fires to people who done wrong to the KO. No more sleeping in a trailer in the middle of who knows where. No more of having a beard filled of someone he was pretending to be. No more Eddie 'Ashes' Wagner. He was finally back to being Elliot Stabler.

Back to reality, Elliot thought to himself. As he was back home with his kids, his mom. He was thankful especially to his older kids for checking in on Bernie and Eli. But one person he though of this whole time, Olivia Margaret Benson. His partner of 12 years. The women who saved his marriage multiple times, the women who rescued him and his kids multiple times when either of them were in trouble. She was the woman after 10 years of silence from him, helped him back on his feet after Kathy died. She knew he had PTSD from Kathy's death an he wasn't sure how she knew. He didn't know that she either knew from working the job over the past 23 years or some kind of trauma she went through. But he would know know if something happened to her right? Nobody would've kept in the dark something about that. He couldn't thinks about that now, he had the most important trial of his life coming . The people vs Richard Wheatley.

"Dad are you awake? Grandma's making breakfast."Kathleen said as knocked on the door. Elliot closed his eyes hoping his daughter would believe he was asleep. Kathleen opened the door to see her father asleep, she smiled and closed the door.

After laying in bed for what felt like forever, he walked out and greeted his family like a normal family would. But there was nothing normal anymore. The kids had no mother. Elliot was all over the place with the job, the trail and his PTSD. But it would have to get as normal as it could as it was time for trial.

A week it seemed as time passed by, it was the day. Elliot Stabler and the Stabler kids would come face to face with the man who took a wife away, a mother away, but a kindful human being, away from them who was their rock. Richard Wheatley.

Another week had passed by for Olivia Benson. Another week of a complicated case and one that would bring her feelings out to the open without saying it. But this week was a week that she wished would be a relaxing week but nothing that comes with this job is relaxing. Rafael Barba was back in town and needed to let Olivia know who he was defending.

"Liv."Barba said as he spotted her walking into the cafe.

"Barba. How you been?"Liv asked.

"I've been better. Before we get into specifics, how you been?"

"You want me to lie and tell you I've been good or do you want the truth?"

"Liv, you can tell me how you really been."

"You know since the last time I saw you, my life has been turned in so many different ways. My old partner, Elliot, shows back up after 10 years. The night of my award ceremony, his wife gets in the car where it blows up and me and him meet again. Searching for the person who blew Kathy up was crazy and drove me and Elliot around in ways I can't describe. Most recently, Nick came back but brought some back from my past. Burton Lowe, he was my ex-fiancé of mine from when I was barley 16 years old and he was 21. I can't believe I thought we were really in love back then. He never admit what he did to me and other women back then was sexual assault. So I could be better." Olivia sighed.

"Now do you want to tell me something now?"

"Oliva, I wanted to let you know who I'm considering defending."

"As long as it's not Richard Wheatley I'm good."Barba gave her a look.

"Your kidding me right? He murdered an innocent women in cold blood."

"I know Liv. I wanted to let you know as I have a feeling he's going to what me to bring up some stuff I know you haven't told Elliot yet."

"I can't believe this."Olivia grabbed her phone and walked out.

Rafael Barba is her best friend over the years and this is what he does. She can't blame him, it al part of the job and the is price we pay. She walks back to the 1-6 precinct and thought about what just happened. She ignored her squad's stares as she walks into her office and tries to focus on the emails on her laptop screen. Not even reading them, she couldn't get off Barba's conversation out of her head. She knew she had to tell her squad about as they would most likely be in the courtroom. She had to tell Elliot and the kids mostly.

'Why did life have to be crazy?' She questioned to herself in her when there was a knock on her door.

"Liv, you okay? You look like you see a ghost." Fin stated.

"Can you call Rollins in here?" She asked.

"Is everything okay Captain?"Rollins asked as she closed the door.

"I've just news about Richard Wheatley upcoming trial. I learned who is going to be defending him."

"Who?"Amanda asks.

"Barba." Fin and Amanda's expression matched how Olivia felt when she heard the news.

"He said there might be some things brought up that involve that Elliot doesn't know about."

"What are you going to do?"Fin asked.

"I have to tell him Fin. He's going to be in for a surprise if I tell him about everything that's happened since he's been gone."

"Tell him soon Liv because we only have a few days until the trial starts."

"I know."Fin and Amanda used that as a signal to leave her office.

Olivia grabbed her phone out of bag and dialed Elliot's number.

"Hey Elliot, I have no idea if you are still undercover but I need to talk to you. It's urgent. Call me back when you can."

Olivia carried on with her day as usual before Elliot responded that he was free for dinner tonight. She arrived at Elliot's apartment to where Elliot greeted her. She was nervous for what was going to happen. What wold he say about this? Would he freak out? She can't tell him everything that's happened since he's been gone.

"What's going on Liv?"Elliot offering her some water.

"I found out today our old ADA who worked at SVU when you were gone is defending Richard Wheatley."

"What's their name?"

"Rafael Barba," she sighed before she continued "There's some other things I need to talk to you about before it comes up in trial somehow." He could tell she was nervous. She wanted to keep this hidden longer but it has to come out before it does in court somehow.

"You don't have to if you don't want to Liv. It's okay."She shook her head.

"I've been through many traumas since you left. I've been kidnapped, held hostage, gone through too many police deaths, people leaving me left and right. That's just to sum it up. You might here most of it somehow come up in court. And I have a feeling us working together for 12 years and my relationship with Kathy will come up."

"Liv, I'm so sorry."

"Don't be. It's in the past. It's going to come up again and you'll learn about it."

"I'll always be by your side,Liv. I'm not leaving again."

"Good. Because I'll be here through this whole trial."

I couldn't get this idea out of head since watching the promo of the crossover. Next chapter coming in the upcoming week.
