"So, what do you think?" I heard Mom say. She had just brought up the whole beach wedding idea to Callie.

"I think that's perfect!" Callie said immediately.

"Yeah?"

"You know, it ties in kinda cute. When we first started dating, we went on that trip there with Liv." Callie said.

I didn't even think about that. That was insanely cute. An actual fairytale, I swear.

Why are they so perfect for each other?

Constant signs.

"Oh yeah! Aw Cal, that's adorable. We have to!" Mom hugged Callie, who hugged back. Mom was just as touched by the two events relating as Callie was. I thought that was really sweet.

"That's what I'm saying!" Callie agreed.

"So... Calliope, will you have a gay beach wedding with me?"

I giggled. Mom was so weird.

Callie laughed, "I would love to have a gay beach wedding with you."

"She said yes!!" Mom joked, wrapping her arms around Callie's shoulders from behind. Her waves bounced in her face, showing that even though she was joking, she was excited.

"You're weird." I butted in, shaking my head in amusement.

"You're adorable." Callie looked up at Mom.

"Ew." I teased.

"You're adorable." Mom replied.

I rolled my eyes when they started kissing just as I walked into the kitchen.

Though, I wasn't actually all that annoyed. I think I would always think it was a little awkward. But, they're in love. And Mom's happy. It's sweet. And cute.

And all the mushy feelings I hate feeling. But, I'm willing to say that I'm happy Mom gets to feel all that mushy stuff with Callie. It makes her happy.

"I really hope you guys don't scare Isa away." Isa was coming over soon. Any minute, actually. She was sleeping over tonight. And I just liked teasing Mom and Callie.

Mom laughed, "You're very dramatic."

"I get it from you." I sat down at the island.

Callie was standing behind Mom now- arms around her, the exact opposite from how they had been standing a few seconds ago.

"I have a question." I said after a few moments.

"What's up?" Mom asked.

"Well, I was just wondering if Isa would be able to come to the wedding, too. I mean, she's my best friend and she's really excited for you guys, too." I looked up at them.

"Of course she can come!" They both replied in sync.

"Jinx!" Again.

"You guys are creepy."

They both laughed at that.

"Ok, but, of course she can come, Olive. We'd love to have her." Mom smiled.

"She could drive up with us if that's easier?" Callie suggested.

"Yeah totally!" Mom nodded her agreement.

"Really?! Yay!" I smiled excitedly. I knew they weren't going to say no, but I was still happy they said yes. Isa would be so excited. "Can I tell her now? Well, when she gets here?"

Mom laughed, "Of course baby."

"She's gonna be pumped." I glanced down at my phone. Isa had texted me, saying her Mom was pulling into the complex now. "I'm gonna go get her." I said.

I waved from the front door when I saw Isa getting out of her Mom's car.

"Livvvv!!"

"Isaaaa!!"

She ran up to the door, and I held it open for her. We hugged, then she walked inside.

"Hi Ms. Robbins. Hi Callie." Isa waved as I closed the door.

"Hi Isa!" Mom and Callie both smiled at her.

"Have you had lunch, honey?" Mom asked.

"Yeah I did!" Isa nodded.

"I'll put your stuff in my room" I said, taking Isa's bag from her.

"Thanks Liv." Isa smiled.

When I came back from my room, Isa was sitting at the island, so I sat next to her.

"Guess what!" I said.

"What?" Isa looked at me.

"They picked a wedding date. And a place. And you're invited!"

"Really?!" Isa looked between me and Mom.

Mom nodded, "Of course. Keep August 14th free."

"August 14th. Got it!" Isa nodded. "Where is it gonna be?"

"Up at Teddy's parents house." I told her.

"The beach house?"

"Yup!"

"That's sick!!" Isa said, her eyes wide and excited.

Callie laughed.

"Thank you guys for inviting me!" Isa said.

"Thank you for being so excited about it," Mom laughed, so did Isa. "If it's easier for your mom, you should come up with us. Plus then Liv won't be so lonely."

More laughs.

"I'll talk to my mom about it. I'll let Liv know."

"Sounds good!" Mom smiled brightly, Callie's arms were still around her.

Later, Isa and I were in my room.

"Liv?" She got my attention.

"Yeah?"

"Don't you think it's too much? For your Mom to, ya know, take me up there with you guys and everything. And, I thought you said they were keeping it small. I don't wanna intrude."

"Not at all. I mean, we are already going to be driving up there. If you don't come, the seat in the car will just be empty. That's boring, if you ask me."

Isa smiled.

"Plus, I want my best friend to be there. It'll be a little weird to be there with a bunch of adults."

"If you say so."

"I do."

"Very much on wedding brand." Isa laughed.

I shook my head, "You're dumb."

"What!! I wasn't wrong!"

"Yeah, whatever." I giggled.

"I'm excited, then. I have only been to one other wedding. It was my aunts. I had to wear a dumb poofy dress and be a flower girl."

"You in a dress?!"

"Exactly."

"That's pretty funny."

"It was horrible."

"Aww poor Isa." I joked, making her roll her eyes. "You don't have to wear a dress this time. At least I don't think you do."

"Thank God."

We both laughed.

I was happy Isa was coming. I really wanted her to be there.
