Color Scheme's

The sunlight was bright and shone directly into Sesshomaru's bedroom windows. His head had a slight throb pulsing through it, meaning he was just getting over a hangover. He sat up with a groan, holding his head in his hands. The throbbing got worse when he sat up and now it felt like a full-blown migraine.

'I didn't even drink that much? Why do I feel as though I've just gotten a major hangover?'

He immediately remembered what day it was as his phone began to ring. It was either Inuyasha or their father, and at the moment he did NOT feel like dealing with either of them, so he simply sent it to voicemail, with full intent on going back to sleep. At least, that was the case until he saw what time it was, he was a blur of white and silver as his eyes focused on said time.

4:30 p.m.

And tonight he had a date.

'A date, with an amazing woman.' He concluded in his mind as he jumped into a steaming shower.

He quickly washed and rinsed as to be done already. The kami knew his hair took forever to dry. He knew he sounded like a girl at the moment, but it was the truth. It wasn't his fault his hair was so long. Actually it was but he would not openly admit that to anyone.

He speedily wrapped himself in a towel, it was now almost five and he had to meet her at the restaurant by six o'clock. The restaurant was twenty minutes away because he lived outside the city and more into the countryside. While Kagome lived mere minutes from the restaurant, in other words, he didn't really have that much time.

"With the time I need to be there compared to the time it is now," He thought aloud. "I have, approximately, less than a half-hour to be ready before I have to leave."

No problem, except my hair itself will take twenty minutes to dry. He really needed to think about getting a haircut; maybe Kagome could help him figure that out later. But so that he didn't waste anytime, he immediately started the long process of drying and combing through his hair.

(Twenty minutes later)

Now that his hair had been dried completely and was brushed, lying rather loosely on his back like a waterfall, he could finally get dressed and leave. But the only problem was he had no idea what she was wearing and he wanted them to at least have a slight similarity so they didn't clash completely. After all, Sesshomaru wasn't usually one to go in public with someone and blend in, but he also didn't want to stand out too much.

Then something he recalled his mother saying a few times when he was a child, popped into his mind. 'Black goes with everything, that is except for black, my son.'

At that very moment he saw fit to later call his mother and thank her immensely.

With that problem figured out he grabbed a black shirt, along with a pair of khaki's. He put on the pants and shirt, making sure to tuck it in and straighten it to perfection. But when he looked in the mirror the black was just not working. It didn't look right.

If black didn't work he would have to go with something else. White. White sounded good. He went back to his closet and pulled out a white button up while discarding the black one onto the bed, completely ignoring it.

After once again righting the shirt and making it look the way it should, he looked into the mirror and he had to admit he looked good. The white definitely looked better than the black.

With one more once over in the mirror he slipped on his shoes, grabbed his coat, along with his car keys and a single red rose from a flower vase near the door, he left the house and headed to see the woman who would not stay out of his head.
