The car ride was quiet and long. Remus wanted to ask them questions, but he knows that he could not. He was looking out the window watching the trees and houses go past him. "Remus, are you excited to go to your home?" Hazel asked. Remus looked up at her and nodded with a worried smile. She smiled back before she looked at John. "We should have told this when we were leaving but we forgot but you have sisters, one of them is the same age as you," Hazel added with a bright smile. Remus smiled back and cleared his throat.

'Just ask. Don't worry nothing will happen. You can speak.' Remus's brain told him. He took a deep breath before he said in a ruff voice:

"What's..., What's their names?" However, after he said this, he started to cough. John sighed but a big smile formed on his face he turned the corner to the house.

"Lily and Petunia. Now Petunia can be harsh because she's jealous of her sister but I'm sure she will warm up to you. Lily is kind and a little sassy. I have no idea where she gets it from though," Remus smiled at this as they pulled up to a medium-size house. It was red with flowers lining the walkway. It looked warm and inviting to Remus, but Remus's mind told him not to trust it. Remus watched as John turned the car off and got out of the car. Hazel did the same thing, but Remus waited. It's not that he was scared, it was because of the pain that was going to come next. So, he waited in the car for someone to grab him and pull him out. Remus closed his eyes when he unblocked his seat belt. His door opened and Remus tensed. However, he didn't feel a hand on him.

"Remus dear are you okay?" Remus opened his eyes and saw Hazel with John standing next to her. Remus nodded and got out of the car. It felt weird to just walk out of a car and not be pulled out. Remus rocked on his feet and kept his head low. He smiled a little as he followed his new foster parents into the house.

When Remus walked in, he saw two girls. One of them looked familiar to him but he could not place it. "Lily, Petunia this is Remus," John said to his daughters Remus waved shyly. He met their eyes. Petunia looked annoyed but Lily looked happy and pleased to see him. That was a first for him. Even though James and Sirius had the same look in their eyes.

"Hi. Mum, can I show him around?" Lily asked rolling her eyes at her sister who walked away and up the stairs.

"Of course, Lily," Hazel said watching Remus walk over to Lily. "When you're done, lunch will be ready," she added. Lily smiled and led Remus to the basement.

Remus still felt worried by the time lunch was ready, but he liked his new home even though something bad was going to happen. He knows it. Remus smiled as Lily was talking about school and her friends. She looked at Remus and asked him: "Did you make any friends at school yet?" Remus nodded not saying anything. He knew that he could speak but he still felt like he couldn't.

"Y-yes. I-I made some friends. They found a new home as-as well," Remus said voice shaking a little. Remus then closed his eyes, but he didn't hear any yelling.

"That's great. What are their name's I might know them?" Lily asked meeting eyes with her sisters who rolled her eyes at her. Remus smiled and nodded slowly. He took a sip from his water and said:

"James. I think that's his name. Sirius and Regulus Black. I got to know Sirius and his brother when I was in the hospital. I think... I think Sirius and his brother were in the same hell as me," Remus looked at Lily who looked sad all of a sudden.

"I didn't realize that is what was going on with Black. I guess I should say sorry to him for calling him a jerk. Potter though. He's always trying to hit on me," Lily said taking a bite. Remus chuckled a little, but it sounded forced. He knew that his foster family didn't care but the back of his mind told him to stop talking. He would have to get used to this it seems.
