The Incredibly Pretty Girl
One Saturday afternoon, the Goldenrod City Gym Leader Whitney invited me back for a friendly rematch. I accepted. Kris and Lyra tagged along.
Whitney called out a Girafarig. I called out my Heracross. Girafarig and Heracross were evenly matched in speed. Heracross knocked Girafarig out with only one Megahorn attack, but not before getting hit and having its Special Defense lowered by Psychic.
She sent out a Blissey. Heracross easily outmaneuvered Blissey and knocked it out with one Close Combat move.
She called out a Stantler. Heracross and Stantler were evenly matched in speed. Heracross knocked out Stantler with a single Close Combat, but not before getting hit and made to flinch by a Zen Headbutt attack.
She sent out a Porygon2. Heracross outsped Porygon2 and knocked it out with only one Close Combat.
She called out an Ursaring. Heracross outmaneuvered Ursaring and knocked it out with one Close Combat.
She sent out a Miltank. I recalled Heracross and sent out my Hitmontop. Hitmontop's Intimidate Ability activated and lowered Miltank's Attack.
Miltank easily outsped Hitmontop and hit it with Zen Headbutt. This both did damage and made Hitmontop flinch. Hitmontop struck back with Close Combat, which did a fair amount of damage. Miltank struck back with another Zen Headbutt and almost knocked Hitmontop out. Hitmontop struck back with another Close Combat and knocked Miltank out.
"You really are strong! I won't lose next time!" she said.
