Naturally, UA still offered General Ed courses, though these classes were done during the morning for the Hero Course. This is why Class 1A found itself listening to Present Mic as he explained sentence structure until the bell rang.

"Review the notes for Friday, Little Listeners!" Mic reminded as everyone headed to lunch. "Not saying there'll be a pop quiz, but better to be prepared!"

The students paid his words little mind at the moment, being more focused on lunch. Realizing he'd left his wallet in his locker, Ben headed in the other direction to get it, only for his eyes to suddenly lose their sight for a moment.

"Guess who?" A familiar voice cooed.

"Um….Deedee Magno?" Ben 'guessed.'

"Nope!"

"Grey DeLisle?" Ben tried again

"Nuh uh."

"Elizabeth Maxwell!" Ben suggested.

"Oh, getting closer…!" The voice beamed.

"Mount Lady?"

"Okay, you get one more!" The voice, slightly irritated, responded, making Ben chuckle.

"Sorry mom, couldn't help it."

Sight returned to Ben's eyes and he turned to see his mother, tapping one foot with an unamused look on ger face before smiling warmly.

"How's UA treating my special little sochi?" Midnight cooed as she gently pulled on Ben's cheek.

"Fine, mom." Ben smiled; most might be embrassed by this and if anyone else was here, maybe he would be. But the week had been busy for the two of them, so he was happy for this little meeting. "What do need me for? Everything okay?"

Midnight smiled and handled Ben a bento, along with his wallet.

"You left your lunch in the fridge, silly boy! You're lucky I didn't start until 10 today, otherwise you'd go hungry."

Ben smiled sheepishly, taking the bento and his wallet, which was heavier than he remembered.

"….You got patrol again after work?" He sighed sadly, his mother nodding with a frown of her own.

"I'm sorry, baby…"

"Its okay, we knew this going in." Ben sighed. He then glanced around and then gave his mother a great big hug, which she returned, messing with his hair as she did so. "Be careful out there, okay?"

"You know I always am." Midnight smiled. "Plus, your uncles will be there with me in case I get into trouble."

"Or get us INTO trouble." Aizawa groaned as he made his way to the lounge for coffee. Midnight stuck her tongue out at him.

"Speaking of which, I heard you were tracking a villain lately," Ben noted.

"When Lady Shibabawa checked the file she got a vision of the villain in question," Midnight explained. "The villain was female and had a blood-based Quirk. So, I took myself off the capture team since my Quirk isn't as effective against women, and suggested Vlad King go instead due to his [Blood Control] Quirk."

Unbeknownst to the mother and son, Ghidorah had been listening in and frowned in contemplation.

"Could it be...no, it couldn't..."

His thoughts were short lived when he saw the mother and son end their hug, signalling it was his time to ski-daddle.

"Go eat your lunch sweetie. I'll see you at home in the morning."

OTAKU

Things were relatively quiet in Class 1-A. None of the students knew just what excitement would soon arrive through the door soon.

"I AM HERE! COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!"

The Midoriya Triplets and Bobby smiled in excitement as they recognized that voice.

"He came!"

All-Might strutted in, decked out in his Silver Age costume and swinging the door open as his cape billowed in the non-existent wind. Naturally, everyone got excited.

"Welcome to the most important class at UA High, Heroics 101! This is where you learn the basics of being a Hero, and what it means to fight in the name of good!" All-Might introduced. "Now while this class will be a serious one, there is one fun aspect of it that I know you're all looking forward to..."

"OUR HERO COSTUMES!" Riley, Brittany, Bella, Ghidorah, Zack, Verde, and Haru cheered along with several other class members.

All-Might smiled. "That's right! While not the most important aspect of a hero, looking good for the crowd is not something that should be underestimated. Recognition is important because when you stick out in people's minds, you give them hope every time you appear on the scene! Now you all submitted your early costume designs along with your Quirk registration prior to your enrollment here, and the Support Class has worked to make those designs a reality!"

Several lockers popped out from the nearby wall, each with the student's desk number and name on them.

"Get suited up, because our first lesson is fight training! After all, with how dangerous villains are, often the only way to stop them is to knock them out!"

Katsuki, Zack, and Ghidorah all gave savage grins. "COMBAT!"

"Oh great..." Ben groaned in response to the three wild ones.

OTAKU

All-Might looked on with approval. "They say clothes make the hero, and you're certainly proving it today. From this point on you are all heroes in training!"

(A/N: Will not be describing all the costumes here for the sake of simplicity. Unless otherwise stated, assume they're the same as canon)

The Midoriyas' costumes were all hand-made by Inko, but she had caught each child uniqueness in their respective costume:

Izuku's was a light green costume with gardening gloves, several belts holding his notebooks and a mask that looked like either a green bunny or All Might on his face, with a sword at his side.

Verde had opted for a green version of the UA sports attire, while also slipping on a metal collar on her neck and decorating her outfit with several pieces of metal.

Haru was dressed akin to a martial artist from a John Woo movie, with the Kanji of 'Hero' and 'Family' on his back and front, respectively.

Zack wore what could best be described as a mix of cowboy and rockstar for his costume: A hunting cap with a boa-rimmed leather jacket, his axe on his back and the Australian flag decorating the back of his jacket.

Bella wore cartoonish glove hands in a grey one-piece costume with stripes of red and what looked like rabbit ears on the top of her head with a domino mask that covered her eyes in white sheets, keeping her identity a secret. At her side she had a pistol and what looked like a pencil sword.

Riley wore a light blue one piece costume with a domino mask and her hiking boots shaped like a white cloud. Images of fire, rain, snow and rock decorated her costume.

Britanny's costume consisted of a form fitting one piece that highlighted her curves, with boots that resembled the feet of a bird and a helmet that resembled the head of a cardinal bird, it the beak open to reveal her face.

Michelle's costume was little more than a copy of Space Hero 13's, only aside from the space helmet on her head, it looked more like the armor of a knight. The most stand out feature were her gauntlets, which resmeblled bears.

Bobby's costume was honestly, somewhat underwhelming compared to the others: He had made it himself, barely spending over $200 dollars on lacrosse armor, a hoodie decorated with an 'E' on the chest and a pull down ninja mask. Some blue and white face on his brows completed his look.

Ben was wearing an outfit similar to the one worn by the main characters in Adam Sandler's Pixels movie but with additional armor and a Master Chief-esque helmet that covered his face because he enjoyed having an air of mystery to his appearance.

Ghidorah wore an outfit akin to Broly's from Dragon Ball Super with a respirator-like mask. He also had lightweight samurai armor plating to give him the additional appearance of a fierce shogun.

Katsuki smirked as he applied his specially made grenade-shaped gauntlets, which had been approved via a special license. Tooru was wearing a skin-tight red jumpsuit made from her DNA so that it could turn transparent when she used her Quirk, [Invisibility].

"That look certainly fits your explosive theme, Bakugou." Britanny chuckled as Katsuki grinned.

"The old man was able to call in a few favors." The blonde bomber explained. "I'm not allowed to throw them and can only use them in conjunction with my Quirk, but other than that the Ministry of Defense saw no problem since I was able to prove I had the training for it."

"I'd imagine you'd be arrested otherwise."

Katsuki gave Britanny a challenging look. "Oh, you better pray we don't fight, Blondie."

Brittany just let out a cackle.

"Depending on the time of day? You'll be wishing for that." She smirked.

"Tre chic, mes amis," Yuuga said. "You all certainly put a lot of thought into it. Everyone seems to have gone with a style that suits them. No clashing whatsoever."

"NO CAPES!" Bella said, turning into Edna Mode from Incredibles as she pointed at Yuuga's cape, the Franco-Japanese boy chuckling.

"Relax, mademoiselle. I made sure to design it to be removable if it gets snagged. I knew a cape would compliment my sparkling style so well, but I've read far too many horror stories of heroes who got their capes caught on the wrong thing to just throw one on without thinking."

Izuku then caught sight of Ochako in her costume and was suddenly glad his mouth guard covered his nose cuz he was pretty sure it was bleeding slightly. Her body suit really showed off her curves.

The clapping of All-Might's hands got everyone's attention, making them turn to face him as he began his lecture.

"Now then, here's how the battle training will commence! Right now we're in the urban simulation, which you should be familiar with. However, this environment is two-fold. While the villain fights you see on the news take place outdoors, statistically speaking it's more common to have fights with villains indoors. Abandoned buildings, home invasions, backroom deals, banks or other robbery scenes, and even supervillain lairs. The truly intelligent criminals stay hidden in the shadows!"

"So all of these buildings are not merely facsimiles, but actual building simulations both inside and outside," Tenya noted.

"That's correct, Young Iida!" All-Might said, "Now for this exercise, you'll be separated into good guys and bad guys, fighting in two-on-two simulations."

"Question; How far can we go with physical violence before the fight has to stop?" Katsuki asked.

"Basically, how badly can we hurt each other?" Ghidorah added.

"You'll be allowed to cause injury with full contact. But under no circumstances are you allowed to deliberately kill your opponent, no matter which side you're placed on." All-Might explained. "For the good guy team the reason should be obvious, but in the case of the bad guy team... While it is true that in real life villains can and will try to kill their opponent regardless of age, allowing that sort of thing here would be a travesty on multiple levels."

"Good point..." Riley hummed.

"Sir, is the bad guy team required to lose in this simulation?" Momo asked.

"Not at all!" All-Might said. "The point of being placed on the bad guy team is to get into the mindset of a villain. If you understand how they would conduct an operation, then you can more easily outmaneuver them when facing the real deal. So both sides should strive for victory. Now then..."

All-Might then pulled out a script, put on a pair of bifocals, and read through it.

"Here's how the scenario goes. The villains have hidden a nuclear missile somewhere, and it's up to the heroes to foil their plans. For the good guy team, you must either capture the bad guy team or secure and recover the weapon. The bad guy team wins by either protecting the payload or capturing the heroes."

"Sounds like something out of James Bond." Haru chuckled.

"Admittedly, it is, Young Haru. But this sort of scenario is also common in our current society." All-Might confirmed as he brought out a yellow lottery box. "Now many times you won't have the luxury of picking your teammates out in the field, so for this first exercise you'll be paired up randomly."

Izuku found himself flustered again when he was placed on the same team as Ochako for Team A.

"Oooooooooo!" Haru and Verde cooed, only to be bopped by Bobby and Bella.

The rest of the teams were as follows:

Team B: Shoto and Shouji.

Team C: Momo and Ben.

Team D: Katsuki and Tenya.

Team E: Yuuga and Mina.

Team F: Rikidou and Kouji.

Team G: Denki and Kyouka.

Team H: Fumikage and Tsuyu.

Team I: Oujiro and Tooru.

Team J: Eijirou and Sero.

Team K: Ghidorah and Verde

Team L: Haru and Minoru

Team M: Bobby and Riley

Team N: Brittany and Zack

Team O: Michelle and Bella

"Awwwww~!" Brittany whined in disappointment. "I can't be on the same team as my sweet starlight~!"

"It's okay, babe," Michelle reassured Brittany. If she had a mouth, it was clear she'd be smiling. "It's just for this exercise."

"Relax, mate. I'm sure we'll make a great team." Zack chuckled reassuringly, patting Brittany on the back.

"Same here!" Bella said as she turned to Michelle, who giggled in response.

Ben and Momo looked at each other and despite Momo not being able to see Ben's face through his helmet, he looked away with a shy blush.

"YESYESYESYESYESYES!" Riley squealed internally, overjoyed at being able to be on the same team as Bobby. Bobby in turn looked to the sky and offered a prayer of thanks.

"Well, guess we're on the same side." Ghidorah said, patting Verde on the shoulder as she grinned.

All-Might then placed five lettered balls randomly into two more boxes for heroes and villains, then blindly picked one from each.

"And our first fight is... Team B for the Heroes and Team A for the Villains!"

Izuku noticed Shoto giving him a dark glare his way and took a deep breath to calm his nerves while Ochako waved to Shouji, who gave her a silent acknowledging nod.

"Give it everything you got, Deku. Show that Icy-Hot Bastard what it means to not hold back." Katsuki said as Izuku nodded, feeling invigorated by his friend's words and drawing his sword.

"KICK. HIS. ASS." Bella worded to Izuku.

"Shame I can't be the one to force-feed him the humble pie," Ghidorah said. "I would have made it EXTRA delicious..."

OTAKU

"So, what's the plan?" Shoji asked.

"Go outside." Shoto ordered. "This'll be over in two seconds."

"…I really think we should…"

"Shoji. Now."

Shoji reluctantly followed Shoto's orders, realzing what he ahd meant when he saw the two toned boy freeze the building.

"There. Done." Shoto announced.

"Not quite." Izuku's voice said.

The two heroes turned to see Izuku standing right behind them.

"There's only a minute and a half left, just so you know." Izuku mused, unsheathing his sword. "Kyoka Suigetsu. The minute you glanced at it, you were hypnotized. To the others, Ochako and me? You've just been standing outside for nine and a half minutes, Also…you froze the wrong building."

Shoto and Shoji realized that Shoto had INDEED done that; the one besides where the test was supposed to be. Shouji racing inside as fast as he could, finding Ochako on the first floor.

"Surrender villain!" He demanded.

Ochako simply smiled and suddenly begn floating upwards, WITH the weapon. Shouji, panicking, leapt upwards, only to find his arms bound.

"Sorry Shouji!" Ochako grimaced. Under his mask, the shapeshufter just smirked.

Outside, Shoto was furious and began to fire ice blst and ice blast after Izuku, who just stood there as frost accumulated over the scarred boy.

"Do you have trouble with the other half of your Quirk?" Izuku asked, his form suddenly bursting into flame on one side and ice on the other.

"Wait…THAT'S…!" Shoto roared in anger, only to be knocked out by a double fist of both fire and ice.

OTAKU

"Damn, Todoroki didn't stand a chance against Midoriya..." Denki breathed.

"Ah, I see Izuku is a man of culture." Fumikage smiled, recognizing Sosuke Aizen's Zanpakuto.

"I hope Green Bean can give me a good fight when I go all-out!" Brittany grinned in anticipation.

"Pretty sure he can." Bobby smirked, proud of his buddy.

"Alright class, can anyone tell me who the MVP was?" All-Might asked.

"Of which team?" Momo asked. "While the villains won, one of the heroes performed quite admirably."

"Yeah, Shouji at least tried to work with and form a plan with Todoroki." Bella followed. "And even when things went downhill, he tried to apprehend Ochako regardless."

"Just cause your Quirk can end a situation doesn't mean you have to stake everything on it." Ben added. "Also, kind of a nitpick, but Shoto could've given them hypothermia if he wasn't careful; a burst of ice like that?"

"As for the villains, proud to say Izu-nee was the MVP." Haru smirked. "He took advantage of the situation to cripple his opponents before the fight even began and worked with Ochako to maximize the use of her quirk to keep the bomb away until the time limit passed."

"Makes you grateful he's on our side." Verde smiled.

"Right you all are! Now then, onto the next matchup!" All-Might then chose the next fight. "Team M as the Heroes and Team D as the Villains!"

Bobby and Katsuki looked at each other and nodded. Neither of them was going to hold anything back on the other. This was the moment they had both been waiting for ever since they first met.

OTAKU

"I never imagined I'd have to think about things from the other end," Tenya said, tapping on the weapon. "Fake, of course. There's no way they'd let a real nuclear weapon in this school."

"Don't forget to take this seriously," Katsuki said. "There's one other element to this simulation... Both sides are working with known variables. Sometimes villains can see the heroes coming, and plenty of times the heroes will know which villains they're going up against. That's why the fights were set up like this."

"You're surprisingly rational. I had expected you to go gun-ho against our enemies the minute you heard 'Go'." Tenya noted.

"Yeah, and I expected you to brown-nose All-Might and every other goddamn teacher at this school like the prissy high-class student asshat you are. But I guess we're both surprised." Katsuki sneered back.

Tenya sighed, figuring he could allow Katsuki that one at the very least before a thought came to him.

"I heard that Walker is Quirkless but that doesn't deter his skills. Can you tell me anything about him?"

"He's got a stupidly high pain tolerance for one thing because of training with me, the Deku Trio, Benny, and his own Pro Hero parents and sisters. He also knows almost every martial art known to man and I think he has a Photographic Memory but I never really asked so….. On top of that, your info is outta date; Bobby's a late bloomer."

Katsuki then made his way downstairs, stopping to give one last order to Tenya.

"You stick watch over the bomb. If Bobby's girlfriend shows up, hold her off. From what he's told me, her Quirk is pretty damn powerful."

OTAKU

Down below, Bobby and Riley had slipped inside.

"We'll case the first floor," Bobby said. "Then you check the windows above on each floor. I'll move up as you give the all-clear."

"Right!"

Riley's eyes then glowed translucent blue before what looked like her spirit left her body, which hung its head limply. The spirit then flew off and cased the entire building before flying back into Riley's body.

"Astral Projection, baby!"

Bobby chuckled. "Not exactly what I had in mind, but it works."

Suddenly, a sharp sensation rang through Bobby's head, not unlike the Spider-Sense of his favorite hero besides his parents, Spider-Man. Quickly, he pushed Riley out of the way as Katsuki suddenly came flying in, his explosive fist hitting the wall where Bobby had been seconds earlier.

This did not go unnoticed by All-Might, The Midoriya Triplets, Ben, and Bella as they and everyone else watched from the monitor room.

'That level of premonition... Knowing where the threat came from mere seconds before the attack... There's no doubt about it... Young Walker has just unlocked the Quirk of the 4th user of OFA: [Danger Sense]!" All-Might thought in amazement.

Devil Dragon Stand Knight A/N:

Bet you didn't expect us to end there, did ya?! Well, you'll see more of Bobby, Riley, and Katsuki in action in the next chapter!

Also, I'm tempted to make a joke in the future regarding Brittany and Michelle being girlfriends in this universe but in the Pen-Pal universe, they are student and teacher and Brittany has a different girlfriend. I wonder how Mrotrax would feel about that...

Also, we got to see Shoto have some humility shoved down his throat but that won't be the full course. No, that comes for the Sport Festival.

Mrotrax A/N

On the matter of the joke? I think I'd like to hear it.

Another great chapter and I must say, using the most BROKEN anime bad guy power on Shoto was oddly therapeutic. Plus, happy to see Shoji get some respects.
