In another realm snow white came through the portal. she climbed out of the tree and looked around to see where Emma had landed. she didn't have to look far Emma was by the tree and she was crying at the top of her lungs. snow climbed out of the tree and went to Emma. She picked her up It's okay Emma I'm here I got you, my darling. but Emma continued to cry Snow grabbed the bag that Emma was sent with. it had the revisions they had put together before the curse. it had a drawing of charming and snow, stuff for Emma. including some gold to start them off in a new land.
Not knowing where to go or who to ask for help. snow grabbed the bag pulled Emma up to her chest and started to walk. After a bit Emma stopped crying and fell asleep. She walked for half an hour till she saw a dinner. She walked up to and looked in she saw people. She saw that it looked like the taverns they have back home. she looked away when she heard the door open and felt the warmth. She didn't know how cold she was till then. She went into the diner and sat down at a booth and placed a sleeping Emma down next to her She waited till a server came over and asked her what she wanted to eat. Snow said I don't know do you have warm glogg.
We don't have that sweetheart said the waitress we have carrot soup. That's fine said snow. Ok that will be right out said the waitress. Snow looked at her surroundings as she waited it was a lot to take in. this land was strange. But this was her life now she had to make it work. Emma woke up and started to cry again and that refocused snows thoughts. Snow couldn't get her to calm down the more things she tried the more Emma cried.
The waitress came back with snows soup. She set it down and said first time mom are Ya. Yes, said snow. how did you know? Because I see a lot of first-time moms, and you look like you could use some help. You are right said snow I do need help I don't know anyone here. The waitress motioned for snow to hand over Emma. Here hand me the baby and you eat your soup. Thank you said snow and she handed Emma over and started to eat. a few mins pass before they spoke, I'm not one to pry or be rude said the waitress, but this baby looks brand new, and you look like you just escaped an unpleasant situation. where is the father of this beautiful baby? I don't know what happened to him my stepmother was coming after my husband and I she didn't like that we got married and hated it even more when I had Emma, so we ran from her I got away with Emma, but I don't know of my husband's fate. Oh my I'm not one to pry but you need to contact the police that Woman sounds dangerous. I don't know how they can help she's an immensely powerful Person. I just have to hope he got away and he will find me one day. Just like we planned.
Ok sweetheart it's up to you if you change your mind let me know I got to get back to work she handed Emma back to snow finish your soup and when your done ill bring you some cake, ok said snow. the waitress started to walk away she turned back and said Hey I didn't catch your name what was it? Oh um. snow thought about it for a second. she knew she couldn't use her real name in this realm just in case Regina came looking for her. Oh um I um umm. The waitress could see that snow didn't want to tell her. It's ok honey you don't have to tell me I understand. You need to keep yourself safe. Yes sorry. But this is Emma.
Ingrid walked back to the bar where the other waitress was and lowered her voice before she spoke. That girl seems odd don't you think. The other waitress looks over Ingrid's shoulder. to get a good look at snow then looked back. No more than the usually crop of people we get in this place. But then again, I'm use to it. Are you going to help her like you normally do? What do you mean? Said Ingrid. You love helping the weird people it's like your weakness. Just like when you fostered kids. You always talk about how weird the kids are. Honestly I'm surprised you stuck with it for as long as you did. Wow I didn't know that you actually paid action to what I say. Snow finished her soup quickly. When she was done, she pushed the bowl aside and looked to Emma she was fast asleep in the booth. Regina had it wrong thought snow. I'm not the most beautiful or fairest one of all You are my dear. Snow was lost in Emma's face when she was startled by Ingrid touching her shoulder. All the local hotels are booked due to the big Halloween party the city is throwing this weekend. But I have a spare room at my place you can stay with me if you want to. Oh your to kind but you don't want a newborn at your place after a long workday. I don't mind I use to foster kids I can handle one newborn plus I can show you the ropes. I have the weekend off so no sleep lost, and I insist plus you would be doing me a favor I love baby's and I'm not ready for Emma to go yet. okay if you insist. Great I'm off in about half an hour.
