The Great Hall was cleared; the Slytherins stood on the dance floor. Gryffindors weren't happy; Harry wasn't going to be able to be there. Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs were talking animatedly. There was a hush suddenly as two figures were seen on top of the stairs.

There was a beautiful girl; her hair was in curls. Holding her bangs back was a beautiful white flower. Her eyes were a beautiful blue as though the shifting seas were trapped in her eyes. She wore a white dress that showed her shoulders, but was made from furs. She wore a blue cape. Sidney looked beautiful!

Draco stood beside her, in a suit and his hair combed to the side. He stood with pride and dignity. He stared down at the crowd, who was staring in awe at Sidney. He smiled at her, "They're staring at you." She blushed, "It's that bad?" He shook his head, "It's wonderful."

They walked down the steps silently. Then the music started. He bowed slightly, "May I have this dance?" The dance was slow; Sidney smiled as he led her onto the dance floor. She smiled at the crowd ever so slightly.

There was a surprise guest at this party; Harry Potter smiled at his sister, who now was tugging Draco off the dance floor to the D.J. She had color in her cheeks. He smiled at her; then he heard something. It chilled him to the bone; kill...rip...I need to eat! He gasped and tried to follow the noise.

Hermione and Ron saw him and followed behind him. There they found nearly headless Nick and Ernie Macmillan frozen in place. He yelled, "HELP, ANYONE!" The music of the party stopped; Sidney and Draco rounded the corner. When she saw Nearly Headless Nick, she knew something was wrong. She took a few more steps toward the two. Ernie was frozen in place, a face of shock and fear fixed.

Sidney gasped, and called, "Get Professor Snape!" Draco nodded, "okay." He ran as fast as he could, "ANOTHER ATTACK!" The hall was filled with gasps of horror; the party was ruined. Sidney said, "Harry, I have to tell them what happened!" He said, "But Sidney-
She hugged her brother, "I love you."

As she returned to the ruined party, Sidney was pulled down. She stood up, trying to speak. Nobody saw her eyes; they all threw her on the ground. They ripped her dress and messed her hair up. She was left there, crying. Her eyes closed; Draco returned. He gasped when he saw the state she was in. Her dress ripped, her hair a mess. She was crying. She said, "I wanted to tell them...they wouldn't listen." He walked to her side; "It's okay...they get the idea."

He hugged her; she hugged him back, tears streaming from her eyes. She buried her face in his shirt. He held her tightly.

Harry left the petrified bodies on the ground; Snape was watching over them. He got back to the great hall; his heart was filled with fury and sorrow as he saw that Malfoy was comforting his sister. He ground his teeth together; his footsteps echoed throughout the room. As he got closer, he saw that Malfoy was paler than usual.

Harry immediately felt a boiling sensation throughout his chest. He felt warmer than usual, and now the sorrow was drowned by the sudden anger in his heart. "What are you doing, Malfoy?" Draco looked up; he looked tired. "I'm not going to fight you." Harry's anger subsided; he regained it. Sidney eased in her friend's arms; she sighed. He looked down, "I won't...not now." Harry looked at Draco, his eyes widening.

Draco said, "You have been the best brother in the world...Sidney even said so." Harry gasped; he felt suddenly sorry for Draco. He wondered if his sister had ever told him that. He was so overcome with feelings that he had to leave.

Draco looked down at Sidney, and nudged her a little bit. She didn't move; he sighed. She was asleep. He didn't want to wake her, but he had to. "Sidney...wake up." She stretched and her eyes opened. He wasn't going to let anybody hurt her; nobody.
