Krika: Welcome back to the story! In this chapter, we'll go into more depth on what happened to Team Heroes when they were able to use their Pokemon moves as humans. But of course I won't spoil anything major so it's a surprise. Enjoy! I do not own Pokemon or Ryder, an OC who belongs to PokeMaster64

"Okay. There's more powerful Shadow Pokemon. We almost got our butts handed to us by said Shadow Pokemon. And now we're able to use our Pokemon moves again," Jakob said to Ryder.

"And...how did you get your powers back anyhow?" Ryder asked.

"We don't know! There was a light and we felt the same strength we had when we were Pokemon," Zack said.

"It wasn't Lady Arceus that gave you the power. That much is certain," Latias said.

"You sure?" Luke asked.

"Positive. I would've known right away if this was her work," Latias said with a nod.

"Meaning something else is at work here," Jakob said.

"I'll go and inform the other Legendaries about this. If we can help in anyway, I'll make sure to let you know," Latias said before a white, swirling portal opened in front of her and she turned into her true form before flying into the portal, with it closing behind her.

"...What the heck kind of crazy stuff do you four get into?" Ryder asked the heroes.

"You don't want to know," The heroes said together in response.

"Anyway...I did manage to get some information about where the Shadow Pokémon may be hiding," Ryder said, getting his tablet out and brings up a map that shows the warehouse that was being used as a Shadow Pokémon hideout.

"An old warehouse?" Jakob asked.

"Yes. It hasn't been used in years, but there have been some reports of noises and lights coming from inside of it. I assume that's where they've focused on bringing in reinforcements," Ryder explained.

"So don't attack it yet because we don't know how many Shadow Pokémon are in there?" Jim asked.

"Right. All we can do now is to prevent any more violent cases caused by our enemy. I can go back to my allies and see if they can help," Ryder explained.

"Okay. Also when are you going to tell us more about who you're working for?" Zack asked, getting no answer from the Charmeleon before he left.

"I hate that he keeps dodging questions like that! He's so cryptic and secretive!" Jim said in annoyance.

"Incredibly so. Can never tell what he's thinking. He's got such a serious face," Jakob said, grabbing his bag, "Anyway, I need to get back to my work, I'll see you guys later today, alright?"

"Okay. Be safe, alright?" Luke said to him.

"Hey, since I got my powers back, I'm confident that I'll be okay," Jakob said with a smile before leaving.

"We still need to figure out the deal with us getting our powers back. It was really sudden," Zack commented.

"Well, it doesn't matter as long as we can better defend ourselves against the Shadow Pokemon," Jim said.

"I see...so that's what happened," Lady Arceus said, Latias having filled them all in on what happened.

"Kind of a mystery, huh? Team Heroes getting their powers back by unknown means?" Giratina said, pondering it. It was noticeable that he was sitting closer to Arceus.

"Yeah. It's weird, but they'll be able to beat the Shadow Pokemon now," Latias said with a smile.

"If they can figure out how they've been entering the human world," Latios commented.

"That is a big issue, huh?" Mew added, crossing his arms.

"It certainly is a mystery...but still it's odd enough that the Shadow Pokemon even still exist despite Shadow Giratina and his Shadow Legends were sealed away," Griatina said.

"Rook has been happy about that too," Arceus said, referring to her brother.

"You think it might have something to do about Dark Matter's return?" Yveltal asked.

"No. This is some sort of spacial distortion. Dark Matter has never had that kind of power. If it did, it would have transported the Pokemon world to another dimension and make it collide with another world," Palkia said.

"Palkia's right. I looked through the timelines myself and I saw no such possibility," Dialga said.

"So it's some sort of outside force that's allowing them to come to the human world..." Celebi pondered.

"Guess we're going to hardly get any sleep until we figure this out..." Moltres sighed.

I wonder...if he knows anything about this... Lugia pondered, thinking of someone.

"You alright Lugia? You've been pretty quiet," Ho-Oh asked.

"Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm fine," Lugia said, waving off his worry.

"If you say so..." Ho-Oh said.

"Anyway...meeting dismissed. If you find any new info, make sure to report it to Team Heroes first," Arceus said, the other Legends except for Giratina leaving, the Pokemon God sighing.

"Maybe you should take a break, my dear," Giratina said, smiling at her, revealing that him and Arceus are together.

"Sadly I can't what with the Shadow Pokemon running amok..." she said.

"Don't worry. With Team Heroes gaining their powers back, I'm sure they'll deal with them," Giratina said, nuzzling her, getting a smile from the God.

"You're right...with them around, I guess there's no need to worry about the human world," Arceus said.

*Meanwhile with Lugia...*

The Legendary of the sea was flying over Sinnoh, scanning the area looking for something before she spotted a cave that she was familiar with, flying down and landing at the mouth of the cave, "Hey Shane, you there?" Lugia said into the cave, but didn't receive an answer from this Shane character.

"Lugia? What are you doing here?" A figure spoke behind her, making her turn around and seeing Shadow Lugia, the same one that Team Cipher once controlled until a certain trainer brought them down. The Shadow Pokemon was carrying a makeshift basket filled with berries.

"Oh! There you are! I should have figured you would be out collecting food," Lugia said, smiling.

"Kind of have to since there's hardly any berries around my cave," Shane said, walking into the cave and moving a plank of wood covering a hole in the cave that let in some sunlight.

"And I guess you don't want to move or else you'll scare more Pokemon, huh?" Lugia said, following him inside.

Shane sighs and sits down, taking a berry from the basket and taking a bite out of it, "That's pretty much the gist of it. So what's up?"

"Me and the other Legends have been having some problems with something. Shadow Pokemon from the Pokemon world have been invading the human world," Lugia explained.

"Oh yeah. You mentioned this Pokemon world before. No humans at all, huh?" Shane asked.

"No. Just Pokemon. Meaning of course some evolutions work differently there. Trade evolutions are nonexistent," Lugia said, sitting next to him.

"And these guys are somehow coming into this world, huh?" Shane asked.

"Yeah. Palkia said it's a spatial distortion, but we have no idea the source of it," Lugia explained.

"Then obviously it's something. But I don't know how I can be of any help, I'm just a former experiment," Shane said.

"Well...I just thought I'd come to you for any advice," Lugia said.

Shane smiled a little, "You definitely put a lot of trust in me. And I'm grateful for that"

"Hey, you need more Pokemon in your life that can fully trust you. And hopefully the other Legends will see this," Lugia said, getting up to leave, Shane smiling as she left and took off, but he narrowed his eyes.

"What's this I'm feeling...?" He ponders for a moment before his eyes widened as he sensed a hostile presence going after Lugia, "Not good!" he rushes out of the cave to see Lugia get shot down by a black Dragon Rage, "Lugia!" He rushes towards where she would crash land.

Some Shadow Pokemon who took on human forms stood over the downed Legendary, her right wing terribly injured, "Hahaha! That was too easy! Guess following you and waiting for an ambush was the best call!"

"D...damn you..." Lugia said in anger, getting up, albeit shakily, to defend herself.

"Hahaha. It's hopeless. Since you can't fly, you can't properly defend yourself against all of us.

"I wouldn't say that if I were you! Shadow Storm!" Shane shouted, a tornado of black wind smacking into the invaders and sending them flying, but some of them were capable of levitating, so they floated safely in the air, glaring at the Shadow Lugia.

"A Shadow Pokemon in the human world?" one of the invaders said in confusion.

"I don't like hostile visitors. So beat it!" Shane said in anger, black energy flowing out of his beak.

"Why don't you just join us? And why are you protecting a Legendary?" one of the attackers asked.

"She's a dear friend to me. I won't you lay another hand on her! Shadow Sky!" Shane released an orb of darkness into the sky, darkness covering the area and concealing the Shadow Lugia and the attackers were feeling as if their life force was being drained, though Lugia was protected from this.

"Damn! Let's retreat for now! This guy is freaking powerful!" one of the attackers, presumably the leader, said to the others and they high tailed it out of there.

"You're not getting away! Shadow Blast!" Shane said, swinging his wings and sending a blast of dark Aura that nailed one of them and downed them, the Shadow Lugia pinning him, "I'll let you go once you tell me who sent you!"

"I'm not telling you jack!" the attacker shouted, wheezing when Shane put some pressure on him.

"You harmed Lugia. Anyone who attacks her gets no mercy from me! So speak!" Shane snarled, his eyes glowing menacingly.

"Fine! It was Shadow, our current leader. He took over after our master, Shadow Giratina, was sealed away by some troublesome heroes," the invader said fearfully.

"Alright. Give a message to this 'Shadow' guy...come anywhere near here or attack Lugia or any innocent Pokemon...I will slaughter you all!" Shane said, letting him go and watched as he ran away before dropping the Shadow Sky move and moving to Lugia, a look of concern on his face, "You alright?"

"I'll live...thanks for that Shane," Lugia said, smiling.

"I think it's best that you stay with me until that wound is healed. And I'll make damn sure those guys don't try to come back and finish the job," Shane said, bringing her back to his cave and setting her down on a soft bed of moss, "Get some rest, I'll be back with some more food, so don't worry about me"

"Thanks..." Lugia said in gratitude, drifting off asleep.

Shane smiled a bit Whether she's fighting, flying, or sleeping, she always looks so beautiful... a tinge of pink came across his face and he shook his head, heading out to get some more berries for him and Lugia.

*Meanwhile...*

Shadow glared in annoyance, "A Shadow Pokemon protecting a Legendary?"

"Yeah...he said that if we come after her again, he said he'll kill all of us," the one that Shane interrogated said.

"Well...this is a pain, right, Shadow?" Megalina said to him.

"Yeah...but it doesn't matter. None of it will when our master returns to us," Shadow said, his eyes glowing as he gave an evil laugh.

Krika: And that's it for this chapter guys! I hope you liked, especially with the reveal of the one who Lugia has been seeing in secret. Shadow Articuno, Moltres and Zapdos will make their own appearances later on in the story, so don't worry about that. Stay tuned!
