So you think that now your exams are over as well as university for the year you'll have some free time to write fanfics...NOPE, it means you have more time to work and its Christmas so working in retail meaning more hours, and when you get home your too tired to write and think I'll do it tomorrow gah...i feel so guilty for making you guys wait so long.

At Dragneel house
It was late evening and after the day's events Lucy was fast asleep in their shared bed with Happy curled up on a pillow next to her, leave Natsu who was staring at the bedroom door in a daze and Mika alone in the now extended dining room.
'so due date is soon, you scared?' Mika teased breaking the mages stare.
'honestly, i don't how to feel about being a father, scared, nervous but excited all at the same time' He replied in a calm relaxed tone.
'hmmm yea that's what they all say, don't worry about it though, from my experience as soon at the kid is born and is in either mummy's or daddy's arms all feelings disappear and turn into pure joy' She smiled 'although with twins both of you will have a baby to hold, good thing too, help Lucy to forget about the pain' Mika finished placing her head on her palm staring into the room where her patient currently resided. The mention of 'pain' immediately grasped the pinkette's full attention.
'Pain?' He asked with a concerned questioning glance at the doctor.
'hmm well yea childbirth itself can be a painful experience on anyone however having twins can cause alot more pain and stress on the body you'll never know what can happen' Mika answered in a serious tone leaving Natsu shocked, sure he knew that childbirth can be painful but he never imagined that it could place such danger on Lucy. Mika quickly noticed his concern expression and smiled softly.
'Relax Natsu, I already have the best team assembled and on standby back at the hospital, besides as long as you are there with her, supporting her, I'm sure everything will be fine...just maybe not your hand though, alot of fathers have ended up with broken hands' Mika laughed breaking the serious mood, after a few more minutes of sitting in combatable silence Natsu spoke.
'Hey Mika I know that it's your job to stay by Luce's side for the sake of her health and the twins but can I ask you for the day alone tomorrow with Lucy' He asked in a calm tone silently begging the violet haired doctor to agree.
'Eh really...hmm oh yea it's that tomorrow isn't it, Lucy mentioned it to me, but I really know, I mean she's almost at the end of her pregnancy and it really is advisable that I'm next to her in case of an emergency' She spoke in an sadden tone as she crossed her arms and closed her eyes obviously trying to think of the best answer to his request. 'hmmm ok here's the deal you tell me the details of what you are planning and where you would be at all time, I won't be there pre say but I'll be in the area so if anything does happen I can be there as soon as possible' she smiled as she saw the mage in front of her trying his best not break into a loud cheer.
'Thanks Mika...so here's what I've got planned' Natsu started as they continued talking.

*next morning* Lucy p.o.v
The first thing I noticed was that the bed felt colder than usual, I moaned before trying my best to roll over onto my side which proved difficult due to my stomach once I was on my side I curled up as best as I could to try and preserve some of the nonexistent heat.
'Natsu..it's cold, can you heat up the bed?' I asked sleepily without opening my eyes however no reply was given. 'Natsuuuu' I whined as I slowly moved my hand over to his side of the bed only to find it empty groaning I slowly pulled myself up into a sitting position, yawning while rubbing my eyes before resting my head on my swollen stomach before noticing happy fly into the room.
'Lushy has funny bed hair' he teased, causing me to lazily grab a pillow and throw it at him.
'Shut up you stupid cat' I retorted in a groggy voice before yawning again as I rested my head back onto my stomach.
'Lucy are you ok, you're not as mean today' The exceed asked slightly concern at her lack of energy.
'Yea I'm fine Happy, just rather tired, the twins have been kicking a lot lately, geez they haven't even been born yet and they are already as impatient as their father...speaking of which where is Natsu?'
'Natsu left around an hour ago said he wanted to get some important stuff done today, and Mika has gone to the hospital saying she had to look over some notes' Happy answered, hearing this I slowly moved myself to the edge of the bed swinging my legs over onto the floor.
'So then it's just us right now?' I stated as Happy nodded floating in the one spot at the end of the bed. 'Hmm ok then well I'm going to have a shower before heading to the guild, you can go ahead if you want to Happy' I offered already knowing the answer.
'Nah I want to go with you, it's better than going alone, and if I wait I can have another fish' Happy answered before flying out into the kitchen, I smiled as I watch him leave "yep I'm still on lockdown" I thought before making my way to the bathroom.
'Ahh that felt so nice' I said to no one in particular as I walked out of the bathroom stretching my arms.
'Lucy takes long showers ' I heard Happy tease again
'Yea well at least I take showers' I huffed back before gathering a few items placing them into my small bag. 'So you ready to head out Happy?'
'Aye!' He yelled before flying out of the room, I soon followed before suddenly stopping and turned towards my drawer, smiling I walked over and retrieved the small box slipping it into my bag
'Better take this with since the last time I tried to hide something in this draw it didn't turn out so well' I laughed to myself while gently rubbing my stomach.
'Lucyyy?' Happy yelled from outside
'Hai coming' I answered as I walked outside joining the blue exceed before we both headed for the guild.

*at guild* normal P.O.V
'Ahh I hate this, it takes so long just to get to the dam guild and by the time I even get here I'm already exhausted' Lucy complained in annoyance as she stomped into the guild hall before sitting in her designated seat at the bar while Happy flew over to join Charle and Wendy at their table, the rest of the guild simply ignored the blonde's sudden outburst since over the past month this had become a somewhat regular occurrence. Lucy heard a small thud next to her head, turning her attention to the source of the sound she noticed that her signature strawberry and soy sauce milkshake had been placed next to her.
'Ah thanks Mir…eh Kinnana!?' The pregnant blonde looked up in surprise as she noticed the short purple haired barmaid was standing in front of her.
'Morning Lucy, sorry to surprise you' Kinnana laughed.
'Haha nah it's fine' Lucy replied as she waved her hand in a dismissive manner. 'Just wasn't expecting to you that's all' She continued before sipping her drink.
'Yea well Mira is a bit busy today, so I'm taking over bar duty for the day'
'Seems like a lot of people are busy for the day' Lucy observed as she scanned the guild hall noticing that several of her friends were out on mission, she signed in slight annoyance when she noticed that Levy also wasn't in the hall either. "Great no one to really gossip with" Lucy thought in annoyance. After a few hours of just sitting at the guild basically doing nothing except for an accidental nap, the expecting mother signed 'Gah that's it I give up. Ne Kinnana I heading home for the day ok' Lucy waved as she left the guild and walked down the peaceful street, however the peace didn't last long as she was suddenly pushed into a small shop by two figures.
'What that..,' Lucy gasped
'Surprised? Lu-chan 'Levy called to the shock blonde.
'Gomen for the pushing Lucy but we're running a bit behind time' Mira joined in as she handed the mage a small bag 'Here now quickly get changed into this'.
'What? Running late for what though' Lucy finally spoke as Levy dragged her into a changing room, before helping her change.
'Sorry Lu-chan it's a surprise' the script mage laughed as she helped Lucy pull her new dress down before placing white flats onto her feet. 'There done' Levy stated as she guided the pregnant mage out of the fitting room revealing that Lucy was now wearing a free flowing white dress that that reached just passed her knees.
'Wow Lucy you look truly beautiful in that dress' Mira admired as she saw Lucy walk out of the room.
'Umm sure thanks, but why am I dressed like this' The celestial mage asked hoping to obtain an valid reason as to why she was put in this situation.
'Sorry but it's still a surprise' Mira smiled.
"Figured as much" Lucy thought to herself, suddenly everything went black, as she felt soft fabric touch her face 'What?' She gasped.
'Again sorry but you going to have to wear this' Levy explained as she tied the blindfold.
'Let me guess it's a surprise' Lucy grumbled causing her two friends to laugh as the fabric was secured onto her face.
'Ok you ready' Mira asked as she grabbed Lucy's right wrist, Levy nodded as she grabbed the left wrist.
'Umm sure I guess' Lucy answered as she noticed that her two friends had begun walking her towards what she assumed to be the door, before they stopped.
'Ok then' Mira replied in a playful tone instantly causing Lucy to feel worried, Mira using a playful tone never worked out well.
'Yea' crap Levy has the same tone as Mira this can't end well
'Ok one….two..' the two mages started to count down as they changed their grip on the blonde causing her to panic knowing full well that whatever they were scheming was about to be revealed.
'3' Mira and Levy shouted as they swiftly pulled Lucy forward before pushing her blindly into the calm street.
'Eh Mira..Levy?' Lucy called out but received no answer 'Umm hello' still nothing was heard 'Ok?' she muttered as she moved her hands to remove the blindfold, when suddenly two strong arms wrapped themselves around her, causing a small shriek to escape her mouth, which was followed by a deep chuckle instantly informing the mage who was that had snuck up on her. 'Natsu' she softly whispered as she placed her hands onto his arms.
'Awww Luce you ruined it, I was going to say something like gotcha in a creepy voice and scare you' Natsu playfully whined as he began nudging her neck while the stellar mage let out a small laugh.
'Haha sorry Natsu , but can you take off the blindfold now please?' she asked
'Nope' Natsu replied in a childish manor.
'Why' Lucy whined in an equal childish voice while smiling.
'cause then it'll ruin the second surprised' Natsu simply replied as released her before gently grabbing her right hand as he proceed to carefully lead her towards their new destination.

*Lucy P.O.V*
'Natsu where are we going, its already been about ten minutes' I whined as I felt dry leaves crunch under my feet.
'Geeze Luce, you're complaining more than usual, and it hasn't been that long' my husband laughed
'Yea well it's hard not to complain when I'm fat and blindfolded I huffed.
'Weirdo you're not fat' He casually replied as we continued walking.
'Seriously' I stated in a monotone voice.
'Yea'
'Admit it you baka, I'm basically fully pregnant and you can honestly say I'm not fat' I talked in a low tone as we stopped walking.
'Well yea Luce, I mean you're even more beautiful than the day I first met you at Haregeon' I blushed at his words and was about to contradict him out of embarrassment when I felt his naturally warm hand on my stomach 'Besides it's here that's only gotten bigger and as to the reason why, only makes you even more amazing' I could tell from the tone of his voice that he was giving me his signature grin.
'Baka' I embarrassly yelled only to have him laugh at me in amusement.
'Yea I know you weirdo, but unless you want to become even more weird, if that's even possible, then I suggest you watch your head' Natsu spoke as he moved his hand to the back of my head and gently pushed it down as we continued walking, I grinned in return as I realized where we were heading "why didn't I figure it out sooner" I mused, suddenly we came to an halt and Natsu released my hand.
'Ready Luce?' Natsu questioned as he moved behind me to fumble with the blindfold before removing it from my face, I gasped in shock as I saw 'our' usually plain grotto was now fully decorated with fairy lights threaded through the tress with small lit candle floating on the little stream that ran through the grotto into the forest which really illuminated the area since little sun reached through the trees but what really took her by surprised was what was in placed in the middle of the small area which was a red blanket that has a small woven picnic basket placed on it with two lit dinner candles on either side, turning to my left I could see Natsu who was wearing a black dress shirt and dress pants as well as his signature grin.
'Happy first anniversary Luce' He said in an excited voice with a face showing pure love and joy that I couldn't help but fling my arms around him pulling him into a deep passionate kiss as he placed his arms on my waist after a few seconds we both broke off for air and just smiled at each other before heading to the picnic.
The Sun was beginning to set as we sat together with Natsu's arms wrapped around my chest while I leaned into him signing in peace as I admired the way everything was set up and wondered if Natsu did this all on his own or had help, I giggle at the idea of not only Natsu asking for help on something like this but also on the idea of him giving away the location of our hideaway, I was so engross in my own track of thought that I didn't noticed that my husband's hands had moved my chest to my neck until I heard a 'click' and felt a small amount of weight on my neck, looking down I noticed that a heart shaped locket with the guild mark engraved on the front was now hanging from my neck, I turned around to see Natsu gazing intently at me before giving pecking me on the lips
'Open it' He spoke in a low voice but I could easily hear the excitement in his tone, looking down at the locket I slowly lifted in into my hands as I opened the clasped I noticed it was one of those special lockets that can fold out into three frames, I gasped as the frame on the right had our wedding picture but frown when I saw that the middle and left were empty.
'I left the other two empty cause I figured we can put a picture of the twins in the left and a photo of all of us in the middle' Natsu explained blushing at the cheesiness of his own words. Tears pooled within my eyes as I turned so that I could bury myself into his chest as best as I could.
'Natsu its perfect, I couldn't have asked for something better' I cried in happiness before remembering the box in my bag leaning over I grabbed the strap of my small bag pulling it forward and began to rummage through its contents while Natsu stared at me in confusion, I let out a slight cheer of victory as I pulled the box out before suddenly become extremely nervous as I turned my attention back the fire mage, hesitantly I held the box out for him to take 'here I got you this' I mumbled looking away as soon as he took the box, I nervously watched out of the corner of my eye as Natsu removed the lid and grinned as he removed the object revealing it to be a long silver chain with a silver key charm that had a red tinted dragon wrapped around the key as well as ruby red eyes.
'Wow Lucy this is amazing and so awesome' He grinned as I watch him place the chain around his neck, before I could comment on how it looks he suddenly pulled me into another heated passionate kiss pushing my back on the ground as he leaned over me, as sudden as he initiated the kiss he stopped it.
'Dammit' he whispered in a harsh annoyed tone.
'Natsu?' I questioned slightly worried at the sudden turn of events as I sat up and watched him as he closed his eyes releasing a calming sigh as he turned to me with emotion filled eyes.
'Sorry Lucy, this isn't exactly how I expected our first anniversary to happen' He spoke before smiling 'Man they're not even born yet and I'm already being blocked by them' He laughed as my face turned completely red knowing full well what he was implying, suddenly I felt him grab at my breast 'At least these have gotten bigger though' He smiled as he squeezed.
'Ahh you pervert' I shouted as I slapped him causing him to fall backwards, however instead of complaining or whining like usual he simply broke out laughing to the point where I couldn't help but join in, after a while when we finally regained our selves, I could see Natsu was looking up at me lovely.
'I really do love you, you weirdo' He grinned.
'I love you to, you idiot' I smiled back as we stayed there in a comfortable warm silence.

I do apologize if Lucy and Natsu seem a bit ooc, not exactly sure how I do when it comes to writing romance or in first person haha
Well hope you are excited for the next chapter, it's planed to be the big one ;p
