Hey guys im back with the newest chapter, Firstly I am so sorry it took this long to update I've just been so busy lately and haven't had much time to write, so I hope you all enjoy this chapter and had a nice Easter. I'll try to get the next chapter out asap.

Focus on Natsu

"Man Laxus takes looking after the guild more serious than I expected" he thought to himself as he walked through the small forest path "It'll be a lot easier if Happy wasn't still moping around at the guild about Charle leaving with Wendy, and helped me out instead ,at least they'll be returning tomorrow with everyone else hmm I wonder who one this time hope Luce been ok with the twins today" Natsu mused as he approached their house upon opening the door and walking inside to the small lounge room the pinkette couldn't help but stifle a laugh as he witnessed his wife laying asleep on the couch, the top half of her shirt unbuttoned revealing her unclad chest, she had her right hand resting on Kai's small body who was also sleeping with his small head resting in-between her chest'

Natsu let out a small sigh as he walked over to the two, carefully lifting Lucy's hand before gently picking Kai up cradling him

"Hey C'mon little man as comfy as your mummy is, let's get you into a proper bed" Natsu quietly walk through the hall before coming to the small baby room, placing his son in his small crib, looking over into the other crib in the room he smiled as he saw Nashi softly sleeping, stepping towards her crib he slowly leaned over and gently brushed his hand along her tiny cheek. "You definably sleep a lot Nash….i guess a lot like how me and Happy sleep" he smiled before he heard movement coming from outside the room, walking to the doorway he saw Lucy standing up in the front of the couch panic clear on her face, looking upwards she made eye contact with Natsu.

"Did you take Kai?" she asked in a fast past tone looking panicked.

"Calm down Luce, don't worry I put Kai into his crib" Natsu replied walking forward chuckling as Lucy fell back into the couch hand across her eyes.

"Thank goodness, don't scare me like that you idiot" She whispered.

"Sorry Lucy" He apologized as he walked past the couch brushing his hand against Lucy's hair leaning downwards with arms on either side of her, head resting on hers, closing his eyes enjoying her close proximity, reopening his eyes he noticed a small glimmer coming from the table as the remaining sunlight reflected off an item, looking at the table in confusion he removed his arms from his wife's side and walked over to investigate as curiosity got the best of him, he looked down in surprised as he saw the Locket he had given Lucy for their anniversary as well as several small pictures surrounding it. Picking the necklace up he carefully opened it smiling as he saw that the middle and right frames had been filled, to the right was a picture of Kai and Nashi that looked as if it had been cut to only show them as they were sitting in a lap with an arm around them, Natsu couldn't help smile softly as he recognized the picture and knew that he was the one holding them, his smile only broaden as he glanced at the middle photo as he saw that it was a picture of when they all fell asleep at the guild just before the s-class exams started.

"Reedus came by earlier with the photos, I was rather surprised at how many there were, but then again we been taking them to the guild more often since it's nowhere near as loud during the exam" Lucy started as she watched Natsu examine the locket with his goofy smile, she continued as she walked over to him "It's relieving to that you seem to love it, it was surprisingly rather difficult to find the perfect picture for the twins, although I will admit the moment I saw the one of us altogether in the asleep in the guild I knew that was the one for the 'Family shot', as it turns out Mira was letting everyone going on how cute we were, I more surprised we slept though it" She finished with a yawn while stretching her arms.

"Yea well we were both tired and I'm not all that surprised that Mira would let everyone in like that, I mean it is Mira" Natsu comment as he turned to look at the blonde before smirking "By the way you're looking really graceful there Luce" He laughed as he watched the look of confusion sweep his mates face, before signalling with his eyes by glancing downwards, Lucy taking the hint followed his gazed only to see her blouse wide opening revealing her naked chest.

"Ahh why didn't you say something sooner" Lucy blushed crossing her arms in a panicked motion turning around to face the other direction as she quickly fixed her shirt as Natsu placed the locket back onto the table.

"Because you were sleeping earlier, that and it was a good view" He replied nonchalantly arms behind his head.

"Gahh seriously you are so perverse" Lucy yelled at him with a mild amused tone as she could hear his footsteps walking towards her.

"Nah uh, I'm just punishing you" Natsu stated capturing her in his arms, bringing them to rest on her chest while nuzzling her neck.

"Eh punishment what for ah?" Her voiced rose as one of his hand squeezed.

"Naughty Lucy you know what you've done, firstly you leave your shirt open for the world to see, what if it wasn't me who came home or if Happy followed" He started as Lucy rolled her eyes with a small laugh "Then you cut me out of the picture with Nash and Kai on the locket speaking of which it's been three months since they were born and only now you are filling the locket I gave you hmm" the dragon slayer finished with a lick on her neck over his mark.

"Ah I only just got the pictures and we've been k..kinda busy, plus its meant to be ah..just the twins" She struggled to get out as he continued licking "And if it was anyone else they would have knocked first and I would have been able to fix myself up" She finished short of breath.

"Mmm not good enough" He gave a small nip on her skin.

"Ah Natsu!, not now" She squeaked breaking from his arms and turned around with an amused face.

"But Luce…you don't get to decided" He stalked forward reaching for her while doing his best to keep a serious face although it was evident that he was trying to fight back a smile.

"Nah uh" She shook her head before quickly moving to the side as he lunged at her laughing in victory before making a run for it still laughing "You can't punished me if you can't catch me" she called with amusement.

"And what makes you think I won't be able to catch you Luce" Natsu yelled as he chased after her, also laughing as he abandoned all hopes of maintaining a serious facade. After a few minutes of them circling around the table laughing, Lucy quickly dashed out of the back door giggling as she ran being careful not to go too far so that she is still in hearing distance just in case before ducking behind a tree however she realized that nobody was had followed her.

"Eh Natsu?" She quietly called walking out from the tree and around to the front of the house, hastily looking to her side as she heard the bushes rustle, assuming it was Natsu and not the wind she decided to go back in, reaching the front she opened the door only to scream.

"Gotcha!" Natsu yelled from inside the door as he bear hugged her spinning them around slowly moving back outside to the grass before tackling her to the ground chuckling as they landed with him on top, "I win" he childishly stated as he showed his beaming smile to her.

"Ahh get off me you idiot" Lucy laughed as she tried effortlessly pushing her husband off of her knowing that it would made no impact.

"Don't wanna"

"Gah your being so childish today" She signed rolling her eyes again.

"So you want me to act like an adult then" He smirk with a gleam in his eyes, causing the stellar mage below him to hesitant before answering.

"Yes" she softly whispered.

"If that's what you want then" He replied before lowering his lips to hers in a deep kiss as she moved her hands to his hair playing with the pink locks, before they could go any further though a soft cry could be heard from the house quickly followed by a loud wail. Sighing Natsu stopped the kiss before grabbing his wife's hand and pulling her up with him as he stood up. "Way to ruin a moment" he whispered under his breath although Lucy still heard

"Not unlike you" Lucy replied "now are you going to go see what's wrong?"

"What why me?"

"Cause it's the ADULT thing to do" Lucy cheekily replied before walking inside laughing, while the dragon slayer stood in the same place before putting the pieces together.

"Dammit Luce you knew that one of them would have woken up soon didn't you" he called out walking in shutting the door behind him only to receive another laugh and a 'guilty but don't feel bad about it look' from his mate, he only shook his head as he walked towards the nursery, knowing that in the end Lucy was the one who won that round.

*At Guild*

The guild was bustling with excitement the next day, Kinana was running around the bar setting up drinks and meals so there will be enough for the party that will surely follow with the return of the s-class examinee's as well as making sure there was enough alcohol for Cana, Laxus was making sure that everything was in shape, Macao seemed excited that Romeo was coming home and that he could be a potential winner, Happy wouldn't stay still since Charle would be back soon and Jet and Droy were equally excited since they'll be seeing Levy again. Meanwhile Both Lucy and Natsu sat surprisingly quietly at one of the guild tables, Natsu was holding Kai sitting sideways on the bench while leaning against Lucy who was unconsciously bouncing Nashi on her own lap while she was reading a book that was resting on the table.

"Its nice to see Happy happy and energetic again" Natsu commented as he watched the blue exceed float from one side to another waiting for the members to return or more precise an white exceed.

"Yea" Lucy hummed not removing her gaze from the book.

"Laxus is rather anxious, ever since Gildart's let him re-joined the guild all those years ago he definably been trying to still succeed the guild, although this time he's doing it the right way"

"hmm" Lucy still didn't remove her eyes from her book, Natsu sighed before looking down at Kai who was happily bubbling as he shifted his body so that he was now facing the table.

"You know speaking of Gildart's it'll be rather interesting when he returns since last time he was here we only just got engaged"

"Yea" Noticing that she still wasn't really listening to him at all he decided to take advantage of it.

"But I guess he probably wouldn't recognized you at all since you gotten so big" He teased

"Yea he...wait what" Lucy suddenly looked up from her book trying her best to recall what he had just said feeling like she had just been insulted.

"Ha finally decided to pay attention hmm" He smiled in victory.

"Shut up it's a really good book" She retorted pulling Nashi closer to her as she closed the book "And what did you say about me just then?" the blonde asked in an annoyed tone staring at him.

"well I ahh" Natsu was now currently regretting his plan to get her attention at it was now backfiring on him, fortunelly for him though it was at that time that the guild doors burst in as all of the s-class examinees, Mages and Master walked in through the doors.

"Hey everyone we're back" Cana hollered out in an enthusiastic manner as they entered causing loud cheers to run through the guildhall, as everyone was cheering Lucy found herself unconsciously placing her hands over Nashi's ear's once the noise died down the young mother looked down and noticed her actions 'Why did I do that' she thought frowning as she looked at her hands then back to Nash 'Maybe it was because last time she got upset but this time she's fine' Lucy simply decided to brush it off as that and turned her attention back to the guild members, Happy was now basically attached to Charle in a hug in which she surprisingly didn't try to get out of like usual, Jet and Droy were all over Levy, while Gajeel was death glaring them from a distance with Pantherlilly 'If you two didn't keep it hidden they wouldn't be all over her' Lucy then glance at the thunder God tribe and Lisanna as well as only to see Freed talking quite proudly to Laxus 'Hmm I wonder..' however that train off thought was broken when she noticed Wendy and Romeo walk towards Macao both blushing and looking downwards as they held hands 'well what do ya know' she smiled at the new couple and could already seeing Mira staring at the two waiting to strike with whatever plan she had, lastly Lucy noticed that Gray kept looking at Juvia nervously as she was talking to Bisca, 'Go for it Gray' she silently cheered.

"Oi Brats I know you are all happy and excited but you need to shut up and listen for a moment" Makarov called from the balcony with Ezra by his side, seeing that he had everyone's attention "Right as you obviously know several of us have just returned from the S-class exams" He stopped as cheers enraptured throughout the hall "these exams are held every few years to find and determined the next mage who is ready to take the next step in being a wizard and although this year was gruelling and many battles had taken place I would like to extend my congratulations to Fairy Tail's newest S-class Wizard Freed Justine" the cheers than became louder as everyone congratulated Freed.

"Alright everyone who had placed any bets on the exam please come to the bar counter" Cana yelled already sitting at the bar with a barrel, watching as several members walked over to collect, while others were grabbing the drinks that Kinana had prepared earlier, as the celebration party started.

"I guess we should leave before it gets to rowdy" Natsu sighed in a defeated tone, as Lucy picked up the closed book and put it in the stroller.

"Yea, as reminiscent as it was sleeping in the guild I don't want a repeat of last time, that and it'll be unfair to the twins"

"So this is what Alzack meant by parental sacrifice" Natsu whined watching Gray "and I've really been wanting to punch ice face"

"Haha yeah I was looking forward to catching up with Levy, also even if we didn't have Nashi and Kai there is no way I would allow you to start a fight we Gray right now" Lucy scowled as she watch the ice mage approach Juvia and have a quick talk before they left together. "Let's hope for the best" she smiled as she placed Nashi in the stroller before moving to let Natsu do the same with a now sleeping Kai. "I guessing it's safe to assume that Happy will be at Wendy's"

"Yea, I'll meet you outside, I'm just going to let him know were leaving ok" Natsu spoke giving Lucy a quick kiss on the lips before heading over to the exceed.

It was surprisingly a quiet afternoon as the small family walk along the riverside, after much convincing and bribing Lucy finally managed to get Natsu to push the stroller while she walked along the river's edge like she used to when she still lived in her apartment, it seemed they left just in time since they can still faintly hear the celebration. Suddenly a loud excited feminine shriek was heard which was then followed by light rain which then caused a beautiful rainbow to form in the sky, Lucy quickly jumped off the edge as Natsu lifted a flap on the stroller to create a small umbrella before directing it under some shelter of nearby buildings. Looking up at the rainbow the couple couldn't help the grins.

"Guess Juvia said yes" Lucy stated admiring the rainbow.

That's it for this chapter, haha didn't really know how to end this one so sorry if it just seems sudden.

So I made it that Freed is the new S-class I was considering Wendy after the last few manga chapters but then thought Freed doesn't get enough fan love and he is a powerful mage so thought why not haha…

Also if any of you guys think that I may be focusing the attention more on Kai or Nashi please let me know, whenever I'm writing lately I fear that I may accidently pay too much attention on just the one, another thing I would really like to give this story a proper cover image so if any of you feel like if feel free to draw something and pm me!

Anyway again I am so sorry that this took so long and hope you enjoyed this chapter until next time
