Hey everyone so as mentioned two chapters in a row yay

This one focusing on the Dragneel Family again with some mentioning of Gale and this is currently planned to be the second last chapter before the first major timeskip

Twins are currently 9 months old.

It was a calm morning at the house, Lucy was currently home alone with just the twins and was happily sitting in the small lounge area while holding Kai gently by the arms and slowly moving him forward in a way that imitated walking while Nashi was currently laughing holding a plush dragon toy, suddenly loud and impatient knocking can be heard from the door, frowning Lucy gently lowered Kai before heading to the door placing a hand on her keys just in case as the knocks continued.

"I coming" She shouted as the blonde opened the door 'Eh Levy what are you doing here...what's wrong' Lucy tone quickly changed to one of concern as she noticed the blunnette who was holding a plastic was breathing heavily as if she had run here.

'Lucy is Natsu and/or Happy here' Levy replied in an urgent voice.

'What no, Levy what is wron..ah' Lucy gasped as her friend quickly grabbed her and pulled her inside. After freeing herself from her friends gasp the blonde gestures to the kitchen where she goes to the fridge offering the bookwork a glass of water who gratefully took it. Lucy eyed her friend with concern seeing that Levy is looking uncomfortable and is constantly shifting her feet and the fact she may had just ran over her.

'Levy what is wrong' Lucy stated in a stern voice letting the script mage know that she wanted an answer, at this Levy avoided any contact with the celestial mage.

'Lucy i think i've made a huge mistake and i dont know what to do' she finally whispered.

'What, what do you mean, has something happened with you and Gajeel?' Lucy was begining to feel rather nervous at her friends actions

'Well kind of?'

"kind of, what do you mean by kind of?

e smaller mage signed as she walked over to the bag that she placed on the counter before taking an item out and looking around nervously before taking a deep breath and revealing the item she was holding

'I may be pregnant'

'Eh What LEVY' Lucy couldn't help but scream out in shock

'Lucy i honestly dont know what to do, i mean i haven't even told Gajeel yet since he's on a mission and i didn't go because i didn't feel well so i thought hey why not take a test and its was positive and now i don't know what to do, firstly Gajeel isnt exactly the fatherly type and then theres the problem with the guild they don't know about us, and what if they think that its a bastard child or what if they get angry because we didn't tell them' Levy gushed out increasingly getting more and more upset after each word with tears flowing from her eyes. Lucy did the first thing that came to mind and hugged her friend in hopes of calming her down.

"Shhh it'll be ok Levy, everything will be fine" she started as she stroked the blunette's back in a calming manner 'Gajeel loves you right so therefore he'll love the kid, it doesn't matter if he's the fatherly type or not he'll come around and as for the guild they'll HEY' Lucy quickly pulled herself from the hug and bolted towards Nashi grabbing her just seconds before she knocked one Natsu's missions knick- knacks while both twins seemed to laugh in amusement, it was that moment that Lucy suddenly remembered Levy.

'Oh my gosh i'm sorry Levy' Lucy panicked only to look up to the script mage laughing 'Eh?'

'haha im sorry Lucy i know we were having a serious conversation and i shouldn't be laughing but to see you basically jump across the room like that was hilarious' Levy tried to stifle her laughter as she walked over to the blonde and wrapped an arm around Kai who cried out unrecognizable words in response.

"Yea well since these two decided to become mobile things have gotten a bit difficult and you need to be fast sometimes, especially when you have an idiot of an husband who leaves weird breakables from missions around, actually its a wonder that he hasn't broken them' Lucy huffed as she pushed some of Nash's hair away from her face.

'Speaking of weird what's with the tree' Levy gestured to the tree growing in the middle of the room

'It was already there when i moved in and it was one battle with Natsu that i wasn't going to win' Lucy sighed looking back at her friend who was observing Kai with an unsure look. 'Levy as i was saying everything will be ok, i mean i went into a complete panic when i first found out i was pregnant and things turned out fine and i know circumstances are a bit different but you gotta remember that this is fairy tail we're talking about our nakama and family they'll never hate you, sure when you tell them Mira and Erza may be a bit annoyed but then they'll get over it quickly' Lucy smile as she spoke in a comforting tone.

'I guess you're right, hey on a different topic have Nash or Kai started talking at all?'

'hmmm yes and no they have made the basic sounds like ba ma fa ta and pa, but no real words and i know some count ma and pa as words but they haven't associated them with us so we agreed that they don't count at first words rather than sounds but Kai does say ta more often and Nash prefer's fa, dont know why since we've been sticking to mummy and daddy and not father so its a mystery'

'yea it is unusual well we can only wait right?'

"Yea" Lucy smiled happy that her friend seemed calmer now than before.

The two had continued to talk for another good hour before Natsu arrived back home with a fishing rod.

'Huh oh Levy' Natsu greeted as he walked behind Lucy pulling her into a hug.

'You were gone for a while and wheres Happy? thought you two went together' Lucy asked curiously

"we did but then Lilly and Charlie appeared saying that they were going to the exceed village and insisted that he joined them, i beginning to worry since they've been going a lot lately, its weird cause Charle didn't seem happy and Lilly seemed weird' Natsu mused

'I've noticed that lately at home whenever either me or Gajeel mention the village Lilly gets all jumpy and nervous…" Levy stopped and looked up at Lucy who had the same expression. 'Ne Lu-chan you don't think that?' Levy stopped as Lucy nodded.

'I think so'

'Hey what are you two going about' Natsu stated angry that he was out of the loop, as he took Nashi from his wife.

'Lilly may have a girlfriend or at least a crush" Levy laughed

"and he's too nervous to go alone therefore dragging poor Happy and Charle along with him' Lucy finished.

'How cute' Both girls squealed as Natsu cringed at the high pitch, however his eyes widen as he swore he felt Nashi flinch at the sound, but upon glancing at the infant she seemed fine

'Did i imagine that?' He thought.

'Hey Luce i'm going to the guild, are you going to come?" he asked holding Nashi against his shoulder, looking at Levy who nodded.

"love to be a few days since we last went with the twins' Lucy gently took Kai from Levy before standing, over the last few months since the twins have grown Lucy and Natsu have ben taking them to the guild more often weather it was both of them or just one depending on who was going and for what length of time.

'Il just go and grab the baby bag, no need for the stroller today' Lucy spoke as she left.

At the hall the traditional brawl had already broken out fortunately it wasn't as loud as others so the twins didn't have any problems with the noise. The twins were both currently at the bar with Mira and Lisanna who practically kidnapped the two as soon as they entered the hall. While it usually annoyed Lucy today she was thankful since it allowed for her to talk with Levy in one of the spare rooms with no distractions.

'You sure you're ok now?'

'yea, thanks lu-chan i'm sorry that i freaked'

'it's fine i mean its not like you didn't have the right to freak out like that, i know that the it may be scary but trust me in the end its worth it and i will admit Gajeel may act wrongly at first just from shock but afterwards i think it'll be fine' Lucy spoke softly but sternly.

'Ok thanks, i hope he isn't too annoyed that i told you first' Levy laughed 'anyway i think you should go save your twins from the evil take over mages' She joked.

'good point' Lucy retorted as they joined the others which now included Natsu, Gray and Erza since the brawl had died down and were currently discussing the idea of Natsu or Lucy starting proper long missions against

"Ne Levy, Lucy is everything ok?' Mira asked curiously, while Natsu glanced at Lucy who indicated that she'll tell him later.

"yup everything is fine' Levy replied to quickly. Mira of course didn't look convenience and was about to voice her concerns when another voice started

'Fa fa fa' Nashi cooed out continuously as she gasped at her mother's right hand and the guild hall went silent as the girl continued, "Fa Fa Fary' She laughed as everyone stared at her in shock and amazement, before they all turned to Kai who was currently sitting on the counter, Suddenly they were all surrounding him calling out the word Tail repeatedly with the hope of getting the boy who was beginning to stress to say it the word

'Hey' Natsu yelled angrily as he quickly pulled his son to him and away from the crowd just as Erza, Gray and Bisca had decided to intervene since Lucy seemed to shocked over Nashi to react to the situation. After a few seconds Erza had successfully pried everyone away from Kai who seemed to calm down now that he was in Natsu's arms as he glared at the guild daring them to try that again.

'Everyone Swarming a poor young child is not how you get them to say a word' Bisca spoke with an slightly annoyed tone.

'Bisca is right and that is no way for the guild to behave' Erza started 'Secondly..'

'Ta el' a voice spoke out

'What' Erza deadpan as she turned around to see a now much happier Kai laughing

'Ta el' He repeated, as Natsu looked down at the giggling now talking boy in his arms, not knowing wether to laugh or be afraid that he was already fooling with Erza a trait that may end badly when he is older. Lucy who had finally come back to reality look down at Nashi than Kai and laughed.

'Their first words is the guild' She laugh as everyone looked at her.

'Yea barely walking and talking and already have the guilds spirit' Natsu yell while laughing as he pumped his free hand into the air in a sign of victory, and soon enough the rest of the guild had join in the laugh and soon enough another party had started….leading to another brawl.

Yay and that's chapter 19 done, hope you enjoyed it, as mentioned the next chapter is planned to be the last before a time skip.

I know having fairy tail being their first words is a bit cheesy but I think it makes sense since any kid of a guild member will have the name and symbol around them as they grow up so it would be something that they pick up early.
