Anyway as previously mentioned this chapter in the first major time skip within the story with it being around 4yrs since the last one, this would be putting Nashi and Kai at around young 5yrs old. In addition, many new couples and characters will be seen in this chapter due to the time skip. So hope you enjoy reading.

*start at Dragneel house*
It was early morning that Lucy found her sleep being disturbed. The sleepy blonde immediately noticed that the bed was cooler than it usually, meaning that Natsu was already up and about.
"Wonder how long he's been up for" She thought to herself opening her eyes slightly, already accustomed to her Husband often waking up before her usually to go early morning fishing with Happy or a training session. However the lack of heat on the bed wasn't what had woken the celestial mage up, it was the obvious stifle laughter, whispering and loud hushing from outside the room that arose her from her slumber. Lucy smiled as she shook her head before pretending to go back to sleep as she hears the sound of small footsteps making their way into the room, taking note at how one set of step's are heading towards her while the other seems to be going around the bed.
'RAHHHH' a young five year old girl who had messy pink shoulder length hair which was tied up in two pony tails one on each side of her head, and was wearing a pale blue knee length dress with pink stockings, yelled while jumping at Lucy placing her hands on the bed just by Lucy's head.
'Ahh noo Nashi' Lucy screamed in a playful tone as she pretended the be frightened stopping a gasp of amusement as she saw that Nashi has what seemed to be a hand towel poorly wrapped around her head, Lucy than feels a dip in the bed before smirking as she quickly rolled around before grabbing a young blonde boy with spiked hair and held him to her chest. 'Gotcha' she said in a playful tone.
'Wahh Mum let me go' The young boy who wore a red t-shirt and black shorts as well as a similar hand towel wrapped around his head in the same fashion as his sister cried through his laughter as he struggled to get out of his mother's grip.
'aww Kai you ruined it' Nashi groaned as her mother sat up releasing the hold on her brother so he was sitting in her lap.
'Nah uh, I didn't you were meant to distract mum' Kai retorted in defensive tone
'wHat' Nashi retorted with a notable pitch in her voice.
'Oi you two' Lucy quickly intervened catching both of the twin's attention who turned to her with their notable emerald eye's through the hand towels on their heads. "Now why do you two have towels wrapped around your heads' She questioned as she began to unwrap the one on Kai while Nashi sat up on the bed before fiddling with the one she was wearing.
'Because Daddy told us that if we hide our faces we can be ninja's' the pinkette replied pulling the towel of her head.
'Yea so we wanted to practiced being sneaky' the boy finished.
"Of course Natsu told them that" Lucy signed in thought as she took the towel that her son was wearing and placed in on the bedside table frowning as she took notice of the time. 'It's only 6:30 in the morning what the heck are you two doing up so early" the mother questioned moving to the side of the bed as the boy crawled from her lap.
'Dad and Happy took us fishing' He smiled in excitement.
'And they showed us how to do training stretches' Nashi quickly added 'but happy looked weird doing them'
'yea his arms didn't even reach his head' Kai added as both of them laughed while Lucy rolled her eyes in amusement as she got off of the bed and chose and outfit.
"Well make sure that you two don't say that to him or anyone else" Lucy spoke as she gather her clothes.
'Why not?' both asked as they looked to their mother.
'Because it's mean would you like someone saying that about you hmmm' she noted as both Kai and Nash nodded their heads. 'Good now go be ninja's with Daddy and Happy so that I can have a shower'
'Aye' they both responded in unison before running from the room as their mother tried not to cringe at the fact that both her son and daughter had both picked up a few habits from said cat.

'Morning Luce' Natsu greeted while he focused on a pan with fish being cooked as Lucy walked into the Kitchen, while Happy sat on the table nibbling on a raw fish as he talked with Nashi and Kai, Lucy sweat dropped as she overheard the words of 'fish' and 'Ninja' in their conversation, before she decided to join Natsu at the stove.
'Morning to you to Natsu' She replied kissing his cheek before Turing her attention to his cooking frowning as she looked at the fish 'I thought the twins told me that you guys went fishing this morning' she questioned curiously only to grow more curious when she notice Natsu stiffen.
'Haha yea we did' he answered sheepishly.
'But this looks like whiting, which last time I checked are salt water fish and there are no ocean's around here hmmm' Lucy asked in a teasing manner already knowing the answer as Natsu quickly glanced at the table making sure that Nashi and Kai where preoccupied.
'Nothing was bitting so I got Happy to go buy some while they were distracted he hooked them' Natsu finished feeling a bit defeated while his wife laughed.
'You dag' She said in an amused manner as she pretend to hit him over the head
'At least im not a weirdo' He mumbled hiding his face in his scarf.
'Right sure…' she retorted as she turned around and leaned her back against the counter watching her children 'Anyway why did you get them up so early?'
'ummm well they're getting rowdy at night so I thought that if there up early then it'll be easier to get them to bed' Natsu replied taking the fish from the stove placing them on plate as Lucy looked at him wide eye 'What?'
'Righhht that'll work with no consequences' Lucy spoke as she pulled a lighter from the drawer and set one of the plates alight before grabbing the others placing them on the table noting at how both Nashi and Kai had also picked up their father's 'brilliant' table manners as they ate breakfast listening to them as they talked about 'catching' their first fish as well as talking about the guild and the others.
'Ok Nash and Kai go get ready so that we can head to the guild ok' Natsu exclaimed they finished eating while the twins cheered and ran off towards their room to get ready.
'Natsu, Lucy I'm going to go ahead to meet Charle at the guild hall, she told yesterday that Wendy, Romeo and herself are heading on a mission today so will be leaving early' Happy mentioned as his wings appeared.
'Yea sure buddy' Natsu answered while Lucy took the plates to the sink. Happy nodded as he flew to the door. Seeing that the blue exceed had left Natsu quickly headed over to Lucy grabbing her from behind and buried his head in the crook of her neck causing her to squeak in surprise.
'Ah Natsu what are you doing' Lucy shriek while her husband only continued nuzzling her neck as well as giving small licks.
'hmmm nothing just enjoying a small moment alone' He hummed closing his eyes slowly moving his hands in circular motions on her stomach as his wife signed in defeat leaning into him eyes closed enjoying the heat that radiated from his body, they both stood like that for another minute or two before Natsu's eyes snapped opened as he heard the distinct noise of running, placing a quick kiss on Lucy's cheek to catch her attention, he quickly detached himself from her and leaned against the counter while Lucy finished washing as seconds later both Nashi and Kai ran back into the kitchen looking excited.
'Ready' they shouted in unison both finding difficulty in standing still.
'Ok then guess it's time to head out' Natsu beamed at his children with his grin.

*at the guild*
'Morning Minna' Natsu shouted as always when the family of four entered the guild hall, Lucy rolled her eyes with a smile as she looked over the guildhall thinking how much has changed in the last few years especially relationship and personal family wise, after all the commotion four years ago.
Mira and Freed gotten married and have a young three year old boy with mint green short hair named Ru-ne (Japanese pronunciation Ru ne), after much pestering Cana finally admitted that it was Bixlow who she was having one night stands with, which immediately turned Mira into a match making demon and eventually got the two to date properly. Lucy shivered at the memory of how determined Mira was. Wendy and Romeo's relationship has only grown closer and stronger and at the age of twenty they have received more than their fair share of 'put a ring on her already jokes' causing the both of them to turn a darker shade of red of Erza's hair, they may be less nervous and more open but it was just as easy for them to revert back to the awkward crush stage. Jellal had cleared his name with the council around two years back and finally asked for Erza's hand in marriage much to everyone's joy and relief at the two finally getting the outcome that they both deserved.
speaking of happy outcomes Lucy turned her attention to the top level of the guild where both Laxus and Lissana were, after proving his worth and gaining approval from Gildart's, Makarov had finally decided to name Laxus the next future guild master of Fairy tail and he while he wasn't officially the guild master yet since Makarov still held the position. Laxus was often put in charge whenever possible. It wasn't long after the announcement that Laxus and Lissana had started dating before getting married and year later and now just last month they Lissana stated that she was pregnant.
While the Blonde was glancing over the guild hall with a content smile, Nashi and Kai had bolted over towards a table where Happy, Lilly and a smaller brown exceed who seemed to be sleeping laid as well as Gray, Juvia and their three year old son who looked a lot like a younger version of his father except with slightly lighter hair and paler skin.
'Hey Luce stop staring at the hall like a weirdo' Natsu smirked as he grabbed the celestial mage's hand and lead her to the table where the twins went to.
'Morning Aizu' Nashi and Kai greeted in unison towards the younger boy who nodded his head.
'Morning' He greet back quietly before turning his attention back to watching the guild while the young Dragneel's sat next to him used to what they referred to as 'oddly quiet' actions before turning their attention to the guild doors watching them excitedly while their parents started talking with Aizu's and the exceeds.
'Ice princess'
'Flame Brain'
Natsu and Gray argued over the table while their wives blissfully ignored them and started their own conversation which continued until Lucy noticed that Lilly was at the guild but Gajeel wasn't.
'Ne Lilly it's usual to see you here with Gajeel' she pointed out.
'Juvia agrees now that ex love rival has pointed it out' the water mage added. While Lilly glanced at the younger sleeping exceed who had a dark brown coat with faint tabby markings as well as a white tipped tail.
'Yea well I was informed by her mother that Rippie would be visiting from village for a while, so I had to be here early to meet her' Lilly finished while both women nodded in understanding. A few years back they learned that exceeds don't usually have the same family values as humans so it's not unusually for Rippie to travel from her mother's village to her father's guild since neither of them wanted to move to live with the other. Lucy had often theorised with Levy and Wendy that Happy and Charle seem to act differently since they were raised by human's therefore adapted to their definition of 'family'. Suddenly Natsu stopped his 'Conversation' with Gray as he sniffed the air before grinning.
'Kai, Nashi' the fire mage spoke in an excited hush tone catching their attention 'they're coming' he finished as both of the said kids' faces lit up in excitement as they quickly rushed towards the door of the guild and leaned against the wall on each side so that when they opened the doors concealed them both. Meanwhile everyone else in the guild watched on with amusement already knowing where this is heading The two siblings where covering their mouths trying to conceal any noise as the doors finally opened.
'Morning everyone' Levy greeted as she entered with a young four year girl who had long bluish gray hair and was wearing a pink dress with black leggings holding her hand, while Gajeel followed quickly patting Levy on her head before heading to the mission board. The twins giggled as they watched the girl before ducking back behind the doors as she turned to face the entrance letting go of her mother's hand. Noticing the her daughter had let go Levy looked at the girl before glancing at the direction she was looking at and shook her head with a smile as she spotted the two 'hiding' the script mage gave one last look before joining the Dragneels and Fullbusters at their table.
The young girl noticed that her mother had left so decided to follow however as soon as she turned around she found herself being 'attacked'
'Got you Metty' two voices yelled with glee as they crash tackled girl causing them to fall to the floor.
'Ahh Nashi, Kai' Metty squealed as she tried kicking them off as their 'fight' which ended when Metty grabbed one of Nashi's ribbons and ran off with said girl in following closely behind while Kai ran in the other direction hoping to cut off Metty.
'Every morning its the same' Levy sighed as she watched the three before turning back to the others.
'Yea but be thankful that thier not trying to kill each other like some two people we know' Lucy replied shooting a glance at Natsu and Gray who feigned innocence.
The rest of the morning continued like usual with Lucy and Levy discussing their favourite books and well as Lucy's next novel as well as sharing stories of their families from the previous night and missions they had taken recently. Since Erza and Jellal were in a meeting with Master, Natsu and Gray decided to take advantage of the requip mage's lack of presence and started an all-out brawl with Juvia cheering on from the sidelines. While the children play energetically in a corner of the guildhall where Mira with the help of Lissana and Meredy had created for the younger guild members which also had one of Freeds Rune barriers around it so any debris from the brawl can't accidentally harm any of them.
'Natsu, Gray what the hell is this' Erza shouted from the upper level with Jellal beside her, before jumping downward landing a direct hit on both of their heads 'I thought friends didn't fight' she finished.
'Oh Erza, Jellal how was the meeting' Mira greeting in her cheerful voice.
'Not good there has been recent rumours that a new dark guild has formed, one that has to the potential to be deadly to all guilds' Erza answered.
'What do you mean, what makes this any different from other dark guilds' Lucy asked as she helped her husband up while Juvia did the same with Gray.
'From what the rumours say it's made up of surviving members of previously defeat dark guilds as well as bandits who escaped from capture, if this is true this guild is being created for one reason' Jellal add looking at the group.
'Revenge' Erza answered looking dead serious at the team, they know all knew what a threat this guild can be and what can be expected from them. 'Which is why master wants us to investigate what we know so Natsu, Gray are you two good to join us tomorrow on a mission to get more information about these guys.
Both males glanced at their partners seeing the approving look they both agreed.
'Good we head out tomorrow morning then... and no more fighting' Erza finished before her and Jellal left the guild presumably to go prepare. While the tension in the guild hall left and everyone started to go back to their cheery selves Natsu couldn't help but look over at Nashi and Kai with concern.

*late evening Dragneel house*
Natsu sat on his and Lucy's bed staring at the wall in front of him as if deep in thought as he waited for his mate to finish her bed time routine.
'Natsu?' said male jumped at the tender yet concerned voice speaking his name.
'Yea?'
'...'
'Lucy?' The fire mage turned his attention from wall towards the celestial mage who now sat on the bed as well with a frown.
'It's all ok isn't it' she whispered shifting towards the pink haired male who wrapped his arm around her.
'Yea and it'll stay that way' He replied knowing what she was referring to, the news of the dark guild had struck them especially since the last few months almost all of the quest they have taken were related to taking down guilds while most were easy there were plenty of powerful ones that they had faced and if these members were teaming up than a fight could be awaiting them in the near future if said guild isn't stopped now. 'C'mon Luce it's getting late' He spoke in a gentle tone as he laid them both down.
'Is Happy going with you tomorrow or staying here?'
'I talked to him earlier he's coming with'
'Hmm ok then night Natsu' Lucy said sharing a brief kiss with Natsu before snuggling into the warmth of her husband as she drifted off to sleep. However sleep didn't come easy to the slayer as he thoughts continued drifting towards the dark guild and the biggest worry that he as well as many of the other fairy tail members, if i guild seeking revenge were to target fairy tail it was more than likely that they'll go for the weakest point in fairy tail...the next generation.
"i swear i'll do everything i can do keep them safe" were his last thoughts as sleep finally claimed him.

This took a lot longer to write than it should had I am really sorry.
So this chapter was basically establishing the growth in the fairy tail family as well as some interaction with Lucy and Natsu as parents.
Mira and Freed's son's name of Ru-ne is originally from jungle emperor leo I just thought it was a fitting name
Aisu also means ice in Japanese so thought that seemd ok from Gruvia's kid but I may change it if I do it'll be in the Author note at the start of the chapter
Speaking of which I hope you all like the oc children I have made and that they seem fitting to each ship.
Also I'll most likely be adding another mini chapter as an add on this one in the hopefully next few days since its only a mini chapter also il be answering any questions or request for the story you may have in that chapter as well.
Lastly I've noticed that a rogue x Kagura ship is starting to appear in the fandom so if you guys want it included as a ship in this story ill see if I can work it in.
