Gohan's Battle

Gohan and Kid Buu gave each other silent glances, neither one of them did anything as they waited for the other to make the first move in this final confrontation and while Gohan's expression was serious, Kid Buu's had a sadistic grin as if he was looking forward to killing the Half-Saiyan Warrior. "He's twice as strong and fast as he was before, but still... there has to be some kind of weak point I can find..." he thought to himself, knowing that he's going to be in for the fight of his entire life as the psychotic monster began laughing uncontrollably for nearly minute. "Okay Buu, this time I'll finish you off for good!"
Once again, there was nothing but silence as Kid Buu simply watched Gohan going into his fighting stance and nearby, the rest of the remaining Z-Fighters stood by with Goku, Vegeta, Goten and Trunks reverting back to their normal states as it was now Gohan's fight. "I hope you know what you are doing, letting your son face that evil Buu alone Kakarot" growled Vegeta, mentally commenting to himself that couldn't be the worst possible time for them to do nothing. "This isn't like the Cell Games this monster is capable of returning the entire universe to nothingness!"
"Trust me, Gohan knows what he is going... otherwise he wouldn't have wanted to do this by himself" said Goku, having faith in his son despite his opponent being stronger than he was before and he understands full well what the reasons for his decision is as of right now. "He knows what he is truly fighting for."
Vegeta simply let out a huff and turned his attention back towards Gohan and Kid Buu, yet Piccolo had to agree with Goku right now, with this evil Buu having had destroyed the Earth and killing every single human in existence with the exception of Videl, Tien, Chiaotzu and Android 17, their only chance to restore peace is to defeat this monstrous creation of Bibidi's once and for all. "Good luck Gohan" he said, hiding a slight smirk on his face as he was sure that Gohan could win this fight like a true warrior.
"Big brother..." thought Goten, he can't help but feel rather concerned for what Gohan was thinking, as it felt insane that he would want to fight Kid Buu by himself, however he had his promise to Shin that he needed to keep and there was no convincing him otherwise. "Go kick some butt, not just for us but for everyone including those that monster killed."
While Kid Buu was waiting for Gohan to make the first move, looking forward to making his death quick and painless as possible, the older Half-Saiyan didn't want to take any chances as he decided to go fight using his true power, so without another thought... he began to power up.
Kid Buu just watched as he wanted this to be the best fight he had, after all many other were just not that good in his eyes. And he knew that he would try to make this fight last as long as he could and seeing Gohan's power getting higher made the pink monster grin and just got into a fighting stance and simple laughed.
Once Gohan was done he just looked over at Kid Buu and took off at high speed, and before Kid Buu could even, react the small monster was punched right in the face as Kid Buu had a shocked look on his face as his eyes just looked over at Gohan with slight anger.
Gohan just jumped back from Buu whose pink body just twisted all the way around before he went on the attack, throwing punches at Gohan who dodged some but was also hit by a few punches as well. And all Buu did was laugh at the fun he was having, while the remaining Z fighters just looked at the fight and knew that they had to trust Gohan and that he would do fine.
"Damn I need to do this fast." Gohan said as he looked into Kid Buu eyes. "And not just for me," He said as he thought of Videl and how she had lost her father to this monster and how his own mother had lost her life to Buu as well. "I can't allow him to live."
Gohan just looked over at kid Buu with fury and anger at all the live he had taken and knew that he was the only hope left. "Yeah hear me Kid Buu, I won't give in, too many people are counting on me!" Gohan yelled as he tightened his fists.
Kid Buu was laughing once again, evidently taunting Gohan in this fashion. If he would be able to finish this half-Saiyan off, he would gladly hunt down everyone else that this fool cared about and kill them all just out of spite to prove that he has failed. Gohan however was getting dangerously mad, knowing very well what was at stake. It was one of the cases where the evil beings have to be shown their place. And he was more than ready to show it. Not for himself, but for the people of Earth... his friends... his family... for his father... for his mother... for his younger brother... for Videl! With the determination in his eyes, Gohan was ready, moving to full power.
In an instant, Gohan dashed forward, heading straight for Kid Buu. Kid Buu just laughed maniacally and prepared to counter Gohan's charge... only for Gohan to vanish out of sight, making Buu blink, right before he was kicked in the back of his head a second later, sending him flying away... away from the spectators in sight.
"Huh why is Gohan moving Buu away from us? Doesn't he want us to see him kick Buu's sorry behind?!" Trunks asked.
"Gohan knows that we want to see him end Buu's life, but he also isn't stupid. Any evil being who has no sense of honour in their battle tactics will often rely on dirty tricks to turn the tide of battle. If the one person they are fighting is seemingly unable to be killed by their hands, they will instead seek the next best thing that may help in breaking their enemy, usually involving innocent spectators or friends or family of that person whom happen to watch the fight and are in sight of the evil being themselves. Remember this; a cornered fox is more dangerous than a jackal. We've seen it with Cell before..." Vegeta said, obviously realizing Gohan's tactic in this battle. On top of that, without any of his family and friends in the direct vicinity of the fight, Gohan can REALLY take off the kid gloves and deliver a serious pounding to the pink monstrosity!
Videl watched as Gohan got ready for the fight of his life. "Go Gohan make sure he pays for what he has done!" She said, her anger and determination shining through her expression, still silently wishing that it was her fighting at his side, but she knew that she would be no match for Buu and probably be in Gohan's way, or perhaps be used as leverage against Gohan... like Buu did before. She shuddered at the memory of being engulfed by that pink blob of goo after she pushed Gotenks out of the way and lost consciousness when it fully enveloped her, only to wake up later in Gohan's arms. She couldn't help to wonder what had transpired in the time when she was out, which also rose the question of who even got her out in the first place. She decided to ask that question to Gohan once the battle was over in his favour, her gaze for now fixed on the battle that was transpiring.
Were it an honourable opponent, whom respects other fighters for their worth and doesn't rely on dirty tricks to win the fight, Gohan would be at least more lenient. But knowing what Buu is capable of, Gohan took no chances and decided to give Buu no quarter as he attacked. Kid Buu on his turn managed to deliver a few strikes of his own, but Gohan's determination and vigour gave him the edge as he clocked Buu in the face, kicked him in the stomach, elbowed him in the cheek and double-punched him to the ground, followed up by a Masenko to keep Buu under pressure. It was as if Gohan was trying to find a pattern within Buu's battle behaviour. Each time a limb or other body part would be severed, Buu could regenerate it. But Gohan suspected that regeneration too takes up energy, as he had observed with Cell before. So if much more energy has to be spent into regeneration, it would, in his view, drain Kid Buu's energy reserves steadily and leave him vulnerable. It was this that Gohan was seeking to exploit, for once Buu would be weak enough, and one single massive attack would finish him off forever. But he knew as well that Buu isn't one to underestimate. With his complex design, body manipulation and regeneration, the monstrosity was definitely a force to be reckoned with. And he knew that his head tentacle was a deadly weapon, partially due to Buu being able to launch his dreaded Chocolate Beam attack from it, something that he used on most of his friends and his mother. Well, not on his watch. He would make sure that this vile destructor would be vanquished from his universe once and for all!
Seeing Buu charging at him, Gohan powered up again and blocked his assault, followed by a ferocious uppercut, several fierce straights into the stomach and finally hook kicking him back to the ground, this time giving chase, grabbing Buu by the head.
"This one is for Videl!" He snarled as he dashed straight above the ground, dragging Buu's face across the surface of the planet for several tens to hundreds of meters, disfiguring it, before slamming Buu into a rocky wall and punching him in the stomach again, causing Buu to grunt.
Videl couldn't help to blush and feel flattered as she heard her name as Gohan attacked. "Wow, Gohan..." She said, obviously impressed and yet also slightly scared, as it was the FIRST time she has seen Gohan actually being mad. And it would be a shocker to her as to what Gohan would be capable of once he is REALLY pissed off...
"No way just look at Gohan go!" began Dende, remembering how Gohan was able to hold his own against Super Buu after the monster had absorbed Piccolo, Videl and Gotenks not too long ago back on Earth and is more shocked to see how well he is doing against the demonic Kid Buu. "Well it looks like we might have a fighting chance."
"Yes, I think you are right" added Shin, just as amazed at the battle that was occurring on the sacred world as the others, seeing as Gohan may actually save the universe in this ultimate showdown between good and evil but also the fact that the Half-Saiyan truly loved Videl made him smile even more. "Looks like I was right about bringing him to my world..."
Bee happily barked at this, hoping to see Mr. Satan's death avenged and yet the Old Kai had a serious look on his face, even if Gohan was still stronger than he was before, it would take more than just that to survive this and Shamano was just as silent as the older Supreme Kai in question, more so upon seeing Gohan and Kid Buu punching each other in the face during their clash. "Yes you were and thanks to me awakening his sleeping powers, he's pulling out one hell of an effort" Old Kai finally spoke, especially as thunder and lightning were shown on the battlefield itself. "You see the look on his face that is the look of a true Champion!"
"Yeah, I'll say..." added Dende, more so remembering how Gohan was able to defeat Cell and Bojack back in his teen years as it was all to save Earth from complete destruction but now the Earth is gone, which means his friend will need to do his best if he was to save the entire universe from meeting the same fate and it won't be easy at all, but he has faith that it will prove worth it in the end since the Namekian Dragonballs on New Namek can restore the Earth and revive everyone that Buu had killed. "Let's just hope that Gohan knows what he is doing, fighting without any help from the others."
"I'm sure that he knows the risks but needs to do this by himself" came the voice of King Kai himself, shocking five almost instantly, especially Videl due to having never heard that voice before.
"What the?!" she asked, jumping up at the sound and wondered what was going on or if she was just hearing things. "Who are you?"
"Don't worry, it is the King Kai... you can trust him..." explained Dende, having actually met the blue-skinned Kai when Goku was bringing him from New Namek back to Earth to be its new guardian and to restore the Earth's Dragonballs. "Hey King Kai, I never thought that I would be hearing your voice at a time like this!"
"Well I've been paying Heaven a visit from Grand Kai's Planet, as there was some news I wanted to share with a few people that are currently with me" said King Kai's voice, more so as there was someone who wanted to speak to Videl right now and it was someone who she thought she would never see again. "Go ahead, say hello!"
"Hey Videl, can you read me?" came the voice of none other than Videl's friend from Orange Star High School, once again catching the raven-haired crime fighting by surprise but this time it was a voice of someone that she recognized. "It's me, Erasa!"
Shock hit Videl as her eyes just widened in shock as she heard the voice knowing very well who it was. "Erasa, is that you..." She said knowing that is couldn't be her friend.
From her end Erasa just smiled from her end as she had her hand on King Kai's back. "Yeah it's me Vi." She said as she did her best to smile. "I'm sorry about your dad." She said as from her position Videl froze as the image of her dead father came back to her and how Kid Buu had killed him.
Videl just shock that thought from her head and knew that she had to put her anger and grief on hold for now. "Anyway tell what's it like where you are?" Videl asked wanting to know what it was like in heaven, this was something that made Erasa smile.
Meanwhile back on the Kai home planet, Gohan was still engaged in battle with Kid Buu as the former was thrown into a mountain making Gohan grunt out in slight pain as Buu took the advantage that he needed. As the Kid Buu laughed insanely punching Gohan right in the face, as blood came out of Gohan mouth which only made Buu smirk at this as he jumped into the air and kneed him right in the stomach.
This just made Gohan up cough up even more blood as he heard his friends and family call out his name as they saw this. However Gohan just looked up and gave Kid Buu a glare, and this was something that the small monster saw and was none too pleased about as he just kicked him in the ribs knowing if he stopped he would lose his chance.
So acting fast Gohan head butted Kid Buu and grabbed his pink antenna and began to throw him into rocks, yet Gohan made sure not to let go of his opponent. "If you think I'm letting go Buu then you're wrong!" Gohan yelled with anger as he refused to lose to Majin Buu, who just grunted at him.
Buu growing tired of this just fired a Ki blast from his mouth at point blank rang at Gohan, as he needed to get free and fast as well before this battle was lost. "Buu no lose, you lose!" He yelled with anger but just laughed as well.
"Oh no, Buu. Not this time..." Gohan said, as he recovered from the blast, yanking on his antennae before he moved his fist up and began to mercilessly pound on Kid Buu's face hard.
"THAT ONE IS FOR MY MOTHER, THIS ONE IS FOR ALL MY FRIENDS YOU MURDERED AND THIS ONE IS FOR MR. SATAN!" Gohan snarled as he kept pounding on Kid Buu's face hard, enough to bruise it and even draw blood, before Gohan held his hand back, generating a powerful yellow energy ball.
"Since you like to eat some much, why don't you EAT THIS?!" Gohan roared as he forced the ball into Kid Buu's mouth, forcing it inside to make it explode from within.
Gohan knew his rage was trying to get to him, so he sought an outlet for it to make sure Kid Buu would know that he has pissed off the wrong individual. No one messed with Gohan, his friends or his family. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE! Kid Buu tried to recover from the initial attack, but Gohan just kept pounding on him, trying his best to quell his own anger, but each second that Kid Buu remained in existence just pissed him off even further. It was like Gohan was now venting many, MANY years of utter frustration out on the pink monstrosity; ALL those years he did his best to help his friend and family, but was unable to do so because of his own insecurities, his own shortcomings or the fact that he tried his best to meet up with the expectations of the others, but either didn't succeed or was stopped before he could... EVERYTHING that Gohan had experienced up to his life that would leave a lasting trauma within him was taking its toll on the young man.
Videl couldn't help to feel her heart suddenly weigh heavy in her chest, waiting for Erasa's response. As she turned back to the battle for the moment, she noticed that Gohan was now beyond pissed and mercilessly pounded on him like a no-holds-barred Beatdown fed by unstoppable rage. But being so close to him, and seeing that look in his eyes, made Videl realize that there was more than Gohan's fury. It was as if she began to understand the pain Gohan had been feeling up to this point. It brought her to tears to see the happy young man she fell in love with having turned into an nigh-emotional wreck, as if he had suffered a lot more than she would have thought... it was as if went a lot deeper than the Cell Games when Gohan confessed to her that he was the one who defeated Cell...
"Gohan..." She said with a sob, obviously being affected by how much she thought Gohan had gone through so far. Oh, if she only knew...
This effect wasn't felt by just Videl either... Goku, Vegeta, Goten, Trunks and Piccolo all felt the massive beating that Gohan was handing to Kid Buu, with Gohan showing no sign of getting exhausted just yet.
"M... My son..." Goku said, obviously shocked that his eldest son, whom used to be so happy-go-lucky in peaceful times and yet so serious when it came to battles, held so much of his emotions cropped up inside just to prevent himself from flying off the handle or inflicting collateral damage that it just came to this outlet...
"B... big brother..." Goten said, obviously terrified.
"I... I never have seen Gohan so angry before..." Trunks said, also shocked.
"Trust me, you don't know half of it." Piccolo said.
"What do you mean?" Trunks asked.
"Gohan has faced hardships ever since he was a toddler, unlike you. He was four when Raditz kidnapped him, faced Frieza a year later and was about 11 when he fought Cell. He has been facing death so much and pulled through that it just left a mark with him. Trust me when I say that you don't want to see Gohan get angry, because if he does... well, you see what's happening now." Piccolo said.
Vegeta was also shocked, but remained silent so far though he remembered the events with Frieza on Namek as well as the battle with Cell from the Cell Games and the conflicts with Bojack, he still couldn't forgive the latter for what happened to the Future Timeline version of his son but the thing that angered him the most was the fact that Gohan was much more powerful than at the Cell Games or when he fought Bojack himself much like Goku is right now, but not as strong as his eldest son. As much as he wanted to get back at Majin Buu for killing his wife Bulma, the Saiyan Prince wanted to see if Gohan would be able to win by himself.
As this was going on, within the depths of Hell itself, the orges through their own crystal ball as Gohan took Kid Buu on and also present were the previous foes that the Z-Fighters had battled against such as Commander Red, Officer Black, General Blue, Ninja Murasaki, a fully-human Mercenary Tao, Dr. Gero, the children of King Piccolo, the Spice boys of Garlic Jr, Frieza, King Cold, Cooler, Zarbon, Dodoria, the Ginyu Force, the Armored Squadron, Raditz, Nappa, Bojack, Cell, Broly, Paragus, Ginger, Nicky, Sansho, Cui, Appule, Yakon, Pui-Pui, Spovovich, Yamu , Zaacro, Raiti, Bido, Bujin, Kogu and even Emperor Pilaf of all villains were astounded by what was currently taking place, more so as there was one villain present that resembled Frieza's original form but the dome on his head was orange as was the leotard that he wore, his face, hands, chest, legs and feet were light purple, his horns were small, short and twisted, his face and body rounder than Frieza's and he has white armor-like pieces around his wrist, upper shoulders and ankles and he has two spikes on his shoulders.
"Man, I've never seen a fight like this…" said one of the Ogres, a light blue skinned one with long brown hair in shock by how powerful to two combatants are, looking as if it was the battle of the century..
"Nether have I, this is most unusual indeed!" added the Ogre known as Mez, who along with Goz was rather amazed to see how Gohan is capable of holding his own against a monster like Kid Buu, wondering on what kind of power he has against the evil being as the half-Saiyan warrior delivered a powerful kick to the stomach
"You know, the outfit he's wearing looks rather familiar…" began Goz, realizing he has seen a similar outfit to the one that Gohan was currently wearing. "It looks just like the guy who fell off Snake Way and beat you in a foot race!"
This made Mez more shocked than ever at this revelation, with memories of having encountered Goku in Hell flashing before his very eyes. "Yeah, you're right Goz! I knew I've seen that outfit somewhere before!" he said, needless to say that the villains present are not too happy about this turn of events, especially not Bojack.
"Wait a minute… they have a good point, I've seen it before myself…" Bojack was the first to recognize the human-like warrior taking on Kid Buu, a scowl forming on his face as he bared witness to none other than the boy who killed him seven years ago. "That was the same outfit that boy Gohan wore when my gang and I attacked Earth."
"You're saying that young man is none other than Gohan as in Goku's son?" Cell was just as angry at this as Bojack, thinking back to the moment of his death at the hands of the Half-Saiyan boy who had managed to surpass him in his tournament. "Damn him."
Broly simply remained silent, growling with anger as he watched Gohan and remembered the day he met his end against the Half-Saiyan in battle on Earth, especially with those two Saiyan children having helped contribute to it, the worse part was that one of them had the same hairstyle as Kakarot, aka Goku… the Saiyan he truly despised with a passion besides Vegeta and late his father King Vegeta… even Broly's own father he could never forgive for brainwashing him for sometime as he had plotted revenge on Vegeta.
Frieza on the other hand, was wondering why Gohan was facing Kid Buu as they speak and at the same time, knowing that it made sense since Goku was dead as they speak, at least that is what they thought, not knowing that Old Kai brought him back to life by giving the Saiyan the life that was left in him. "I knew I could have beaten that Monkey Father of his if I hadn't lost both of my legs and if that mysterious purple-haired boy had interfered with my plans of revenge!" he snapped, cursing both Goku and Future Trunks for his being here in the first place.
"You're one to talk, at least you weren't blasted into the sun along with the Super Nova you created when trying to destroy both that Saiyan and the Planet itself little brother" growled Cooler, agreeing with Frieza even though he could have won had it not been for the fact that Goku was able to turn into a Super Saiyan and defeated him. "But what I want to know is who is this boy fighting against? Come to think of it, he was never this strong when my men fought him and that creature seems to be giving him a tough time."
"I don't know but I do like that pink" said Goz, just a confused at the monstrous creature on the crystal ball as the rest of the residence of Hell.
Mez nodded his head in astonishment and said. "He sure packs a quite a punch!" He wasn't able to say anything else as a wicked cackle was heard from behind everyone present, causing them to turn their heads and saw that it was none other than the evil Wizard Babidi himself, looking down upon them from a nearby cliff.
"That's my boy, I'm responsible for that demon of disaster!" he said, a grin forming on his face as those who looked at him were shocked to learn he was the one who was behind the evil Buu that was on the ball.
"Just wait a second here, you're saying that you are the bastard responsible for destroying my Earth?!" exclaimed Pilaf, yet he was more angry with the fact that he was here and neither Shu or Mai were anywhere to be found which he was this close to popping a vein on his blue forehead. "I wanted to rule the entire planet, but now it's completely gone, what do you have to say for yourself?!"
"Say what you want, but you have no idea who I am…" Babidi wasn't very amused with Pilaf's attitude right now but it couldn't be helped. "I'm the great wizard Babidi, Majin Buu's mentor and son of his creator Bibidi." This made the residence all rather speechless at what they heard, while Pilaf gave a darkened glare. "Ah yes, I taught him everything he knows about fighting but he's not much on brains though…. It's all brawn."
"Well, I have to say I am rather impressed… you must be greatest trainer there is." came the voice of Captain Ginyu, intrigued by the fact that the wizard in front of them was capable of training something like that into what it is right now. "He could use a good pose but with the right style, we could use someone like him as part of the Ginyu Force."
"Well I… In any case, come by for a lesson sometime…" he decided to turn around and take his leave, unlike the other villains who were all rather amazed by the being known as Majin Buu as the fight between Bibidi's creature and Gohan continued, he was furious with that creature and wished he had never released it from inside that ball his father imprisoned him in. "You disobedient, disrespectful creature… Buu I hope you get blown to smithereens to the point where you can't put yourself back together!" he growled, now wanting nothing more than to see the end of Kid Buu permanently. "How dare you make a mockery out of me! Do it Gohan! Beat the Buu!"
However as the villains went back to watching the fight they heard another laugh, and they all looked to see it was another green wizard he was. "Well it seems that my son set my creation free and has destroyed many Planets and with just one human left too." He said with a laugh as he looked at the other villains.
Speaking of said last Human, Videl just watched as she clutched her heart she knew that Gohan couldn't keep this up, and a part of her just wished she had the power to help. "I wish there was something I could do." She said in a low voice.
Old Kai and the others just looked at her knowing it was hard for her right now to watch what was going on, and all Kibito Kai could do was place his hand on her shoulder. "Videl I know that you want to help, but Buu is just too strong for you." He said and noticed the look the young woman had on her face.
"I just don't like seeing Gohan doing this fight all on his own." She began as she looked back at the fight that was going on back on the Kai world. "I mean I know he's strong but I just wish that I was there to help, I hate not being able to help." She said as she gave a frown.
"There might be a way to help you do that Videl that's if it's alright with you Old Kai?" Shamano asked as he looked at the Old Kai. "I mean you said you unlocked Gohan power so why not do the same for Videl?"
Old Kai just nodded a little at this as he looked over at the young human girl wonder if this could work. "I could try." He said as he thought it over. "Alright then come here child." He said as Videl just nodded as she sat right in front of him.
"Good all we need to do is speed it up," The old Trimonight thought as he looked to see how the battle was going and saw that Gohan was still holding his own. "We just need to hurry before the evil Buu starts to get angry."
Kibito Kai was more worried on the other hand after all it took a while for Gohan's powers to be awakened. "Elder is there any way that we could do this much faster I mean just, look how long it took Gohan." He said with worry in his voice.
"You forget that Gohan had a lot of latent power hidden inside him, which is why it took me so long to awaken it all within him. I do not know how long it would take Videl exactly; with my methods perhaps a couple of hours or so, but it would at least remove her current physical restraints. We just need to prepare her body accordingly to prevent it from overworking itself and burning down on the worst moments. With the way Gohan is acting right now, it is my thought that Videl may very well be a catalyst for keeping Gohan's emotions under control. Remove that from the equation and that boy will REALLY raise hell!" Old Kai said.
Kid Buu was currently getting quite annoyed with Gohan, as the young man managed to repel any attack he threw at him so far, while also given little quarter to regenerate properly. It was as if Kid Buu was starting to get a bit tired, although he did get some blows in himself, Gohan was inflicting much more damage.
"Geez, Buu, I have to say that you really SUCK at dying! No matter, once I'm through with you, you will know the bitter taste of defeat!" Gohan said, rapidly kicking Buu in the face, before kicking Buu away.
Kid Buu recovered and, after resetting his face, began to charge what appeared to be a Kamehameha-like attack in utter frustration, firing it towards Gohan! The young man however was having none of it and spread his arms wide and caught the attack with his bare hands, to the shock of Kid Buu... and the audience... but the big surprise came when Gohan actually CONDENSED the attack to a smaller sphere, reared his own arm back, and punched the sphere back towards Kid Buu, resulting in an explosion that, for the time being, destroyed Buu's body to a degree where only his head and part of his torso remained!
Although Buu regenerated at first, he was unprepared as Gohan teleported in front of him and dealing a vicious uppercut to the monstrosity, sending him flying for the moment. Giving him no quarter, Gohan then charged on and, using his own rage and frustrations as his main drive, began to beat the living bejesus out of the monster with what seemed like rapid-fire fisticuffs, rocking the pink monstrosity's body left and right as each fist found its mark!
"A being that kills innocent people for their own pleasure and destroys countless worlds for the fun of it DESERVES TO DIE!" Gohan snarled as he laid punch after punch after punch after punch into Buu, making the beatings he gave to Super Buu and Cell little more than a parent spanking their children after the latter have done bad! Finally, Gohan ended his savage combo by delivering a nasty gut punch to Kid Buu, making the latter's eyes bulge out of their sockets as this happened.
Videl, understanding Gohan's line as she did witness Buu's cruelty... she recalled the mental display Babidi made, where Buu turned the innocent civilians of a city into candies and devoured them all in a single go, before obliterating the city itself, as well as Buu ruthlessly turning Chi-Chi into an egg and squashing her and later on turning everyone else, except for herself, into chocolate bars and ate them like they were some kind of treat. Had it not been for Bulma's heroic sacrifice, she too would have befallen that same fate. The more she thought about it, coupled with the deaths of Mr. Satan, Icarus, Android 16 and those who fell victim to the Human Extinction Attack, Erasa and Sharpner among them, as well as the fact that she was absorbed by that freak, also made her angrier and wanted to beat Buu for that as well, showing that Humans can fight back when provoked.
"I want to be stronger..." she then said, for the others with her to hear while clenching her own fists, "so I can help Gohan put that pink demon in his place!"
"You're not saying that you are actually going to go through with this are you Videl?" asked Shin, shocked by the decision that Videl had made and the expression on her face was a sign that she was more than willing to go through with it, there was no turning back as of right now. "I see, in any case we better get ready and I can take you back there so we can provide some assistance."
"Thank you Shin" began Videl, it was the only way she can truly help Gohan and she got off the Nimbus Cloud before approaching the Old Kai, while Bee silently glanced as she sat in front of the elder in order to begin the process. "Alright, here goes nothing."
"I hope this works…" Dende spoke, in an almost silent tone and Shin nodded his head as the longer they wait, the worse their chances of survival increases… if Kid Buu isn't stopped right there and then, not even the Namekian Dragonballs can restore what had been destroyed.
"What other options do we have?" asked Shamano, knowing it was no time for 50 questions when the universe's fate is at the hands of Gohan and while Kid Buu's power doesn't decrease, the Half-Saiyan isn't lucky as it is only a matter of time before the monstrousity that Bibidi created gains the upper hand. "I doubt even Goku's Super Saiyan 3 form would last long against something like that, I'm aware that while he was dead… he was able to maintain that form fairly easily but now that he's been revived, I doubt it would be so easy."
The others remained silent as Old Kai gave a sigh as he began the ritual that he gave to Gohan, time was at the essence and they couldn't afford to be wasting anymore of it by just doing nothing.
In the meantime, the lightning began striking the ground as Gohan's fight against Kid Buu was becoming more intense by the second and the rest of the Z-Fighters watched in both shock and awe at the power both fighters have… even to the point where the heavens themselves shook, especially with Vegeta gritting his teeth in anger due to the fact that it was already bad enough that Bulma was killed and Goku had hidden the Super Saiyan 3 level from him when they fought on Earth but now that Gohan surpassed both Full-Blooded Saiyans, it made him even angrier then again, he was starting to see this as fate.
"Dad?" wondered Trunks, seeing the expression on his father's face while wondering if he was alright, then again he decided against asking that… it might make things worse then turned his attention towards Goten, who couldn't keep his eyes off of his brother's battle, cheering him on. "Hey Goten!"
"Yeah Trunks?" he asked his friend, sure Trunks a bit older than he was but despite what they've been through, they had to accept the fact that Gohan has to fight alone… and he was sure that Goku and Piccolo would agree on that. "What's up?"
"Are you sure this is a good idea just standing by and letting your brother take on that monster again?" he asked, thinking back to their decision not to fuse into Gotenks prior to attempting to take on Kid Buu alongside the others. "Besides, I'm starting to wonder if our not fusing was such a good idea in the first place…"
"I know how you feel, I can't forget how Gohan lost the first time he went up against Majin Buu but now things had changed as he said before, what matters is that we focus on the here and now" reminded Goten, thinking back to when Gohan had his rematch after returning to Earth and how much stronger he had become, especially before they were absorbed by that demonic creature so he could get more powerful. "We'll only get involved if something goes wrong okay?"
Trunks didn't say anything, hoping that Goten was right and that they didn't have to go out there again, though even the Good Majin Buu didn't stand a chance against Kid Buu so he was wondering if Gohan would win this fight when they couldn't do so when fighting together previously.
"Alright Gohan, you can do it!" he decided to make the best of it and root for Gohan like Goten was doing as this was all they can do right now. "Give that punk what you've got, for the universe and for everyone's he's killed!"
Vegeta was silent as he watched the fight raging on, and he took a brief glance towards Goku, the warrior who he considered his rival as well as the one who wished to defeat one day… even despite the fact that he trained himself hard to be the strongest in the universe, it seems Goku and somehow Gohan as well were able to get better no matter how powerful he himself had become.
And the Saiyan Prince didn't like it, that first Goku showed him up and now his own son was doing the same thing. "Why must this always happen?" Vegeta thought as he watched the fight with Gohan and Buu and frowned at this. "First Kakarot out classed me and now his son is doing the same thing." To the Saiyan Prince all he could think about was why, why he could never surpass them. When he was the Saiyan Prince, so many thought just went through his head at this point as he saw Gohan was doing all he could to look after the ones he cared for.
It was in that moment that knowing that now Gohan could be stronger than Goku, and now him as well. Slowly Vegeta just smiled he knew that he had to accept that he may never be the best and do what Gohan and Goku do protect the Earth for his family and he just down at Trunks and knew he wanted to keep his family safe.
Gohan himself wondered if there would be an end to this creature. So far he hasn't spent much on his energy, safe for flying and dashing of course, but so far he resorted to hand-to-hand combat, which had a more practical use since those attacks were harder to avoid when pressed on enough. Gohan did notice that Kid Buu was having a harder time with keeping up the pace, forgoing the constant regeneration to only where he had some reprieve, so Gohan did realize that the monstrosity was in fact getting tired, even though it was slight.
"Yeah, not so fun now when it is YOU who's having your sorry ass handed to you, huh?!" Gohan taunted as he went on the offensive, "serves you right; TRILLIONS of people have been slaughtered by your hands during your existence, now it's time for you to pay your dues... and trust me, YOU'RE GOING TO GET WHAT YOU DESERVE!"
Blow after blow after blow was laid on Kid Buu, who seemed to be hardly able to do anything to counter it. Whatever he threw at Gohan was returned tenfold! How could Gohan be so powerful?! He was Majin Buu! The Terror of the Universe! Now suffering at the hands of a young man whom unleashes YEARS of utter frustration onto him?! It made Buu angry to see that he no longer had the upper hand and that Gohan was simply beating the daylights out of him. Gohan himself took no joy in this battle either however, due to lacking the actual thrill of battle that his father and Vegeta did possess. But when his friends and family are threatened, especially the one most dear to him... then, to quote a famous cartoon rabbit, of course you realize that means war!
Videl knew she had to be patient, but her eagerness to join her beloved in battle was getting the better of her. Still, her common sense told her to stay put until the ritual was completed, watching both the Old Kai and the battle closely. Meanwhile, King Kai relayed the battle itself to those whom were with him in Heaven. Erasa was horrified to know that the kind young man she knew in High School could be so violent when provoked and swore to herself that she would see to it that she would stay on his good side at all costs. Chi-Chi, although initially disapproving of Gohan fighting, relented when she heard Gohan was fighting for her as well, deciding to cheer him on. She felt that Gohan should be wise enough to make his own decisions and the fact that King Kai did remind her that if Gohan would actually lose, there would be no school or office available for him to work in also helped in making her decide to be more lenient towards him from now on. Even Bulma reminded her that Gohan practically could ace the exams even if he didn't go to school at all, so that was also part of her final decision.
"I'll probably never touch a chocolate bar again." Bulma said after a while, thinking back to the moment of her death at the Lookout and wanted Gohan to win against the monstrous creature that Babidi had unleashed onto the Earth.
"What makes you say that?" Erasa asked.
"Well, Buu actually turned me into one and ate me after I protected Videl from that attack. You may have probably been killed with his Human Extinction Attack, but make no mistake; you too could have befallen that fate, like so many other citizens in the past days..." Bulma replied, knowing that had Videl not been saved from the fate that she herself and the others had experienced, who knows what could have happened. "Videl really does care for Gohan and from what I can tell… she believed that he may have survived the first battle against Majin Buu, surprisingly she was right this whole time."
"That's true. That makes him so bad on many levels... and it makes me more eager to see Gohan whoop his ass to kingdom come." Erasa said, yet they were unaware of two new-comers that would arrive at the scene, both of them would look rather familiar to two of the women present.
"Well, well… what a surprise seeing you two here at a place like this…" came the voice of none other than Mai, causing the three women, Mr. Satan, King Kai and Dabura to turn their heads to the left in order to see the former henchwoman of the infamous Pilaf Gang along with her partner Shu… both of which shocked Chi-Chi and Bulma to no end at all.
"What are you two doing here?!" exclaimed Bulma, remembering them as the two minions of Emperor Pilaf and the fact that they are even in heaven made things really shocking, then again she and Chi-Chi would notice that there was something off. "Come to think of it, where's Pilaf?"
"We don't know, the last thing we knew…the three of us were at Emperor Pilaf's castle, planning out how we are going to get our revenge on Goku and his friends as well as the Emperor wishing to come up with a way of getting the Dragonballs to conquer the world when we were obliterated by a sudden beam of light" explained Shu, making the group realize that the three must have been killed by Super Buu's Human Extinction attack as well like the rest of humanity. "As for why Empeor Pilaf isn't with us, he was actually sent down to Hell while Mai and I were allowed to go to Heaven."
Chi-Chi bit her lower lip, then again she found it rather amusing that Pilaf was the only one in the gang to ever be sent to Hell and the fact that Shu and Mai are in Heaven could mean the two aren't so evil as they originally thought. "So you actually know these two?" wondered Erasa, having never seen Shu or Mai before same with Mr. Satan and Dabura curious on who exactly the two were as well which Bulma gave a small sigh.
"Well unfortunately we do, I actually met them when I was a teenager looking for the Dragonballs alongside Goku and I wanted to use the Dragonballs to wish for a boyfriend though Goku was a little boy at the time as well as the fact that he wouldn't want to give me the four star ball since it was given to him from his late Grandfather…" explained Bulma, telling the three of how she and Goku first crossed paths with Shu and Mai as well as what Pilaf planned to do with the Dragonballs. "To be honest, Pilaf is more of an idiot than an actual threat unlike the Red Ribbon Army, King Piccolo, the Saiyans, Frieza, Garlic Jr, Broly, Bojack, the Androids, Cell or even Majin Buu."
"Tell me about it, plus the only time I ever encountered those two and Pilaf was when Goku and I tried to save my father before we got married after the World Martial Arts Tournament during our teenage years" Chi-Chi had her armed crossed at Shu and Mai, then again the two couldn't blame her or Bulma to be angry with them after what had happened in the past while at times, they wondered if it was even a good idea to even remain part of the Pilaf gang since it wasn't getting them anywhere over the years. "Right now we have bigger problems like my sons and my husband are fighting for their lives against the monster who killed us!"
"Wait your sons and hold on another second, this husband you are talking about… its Goku isn't it?" began Mai, which Chi-Chi remained silent and nodded her head to confirm it was who the older woman was talking about. "I see… I can't imagine what could be worse than King Piccolo."
"Well try a monster known as Majin Buu, he was the one who killed the entire human race except for Videl and he even managed to destroy the Earth as well!" snapped Chi-Chi, shocking the two ex-Pilaf Gang members upon hearing that the Earth has been destroyed by this Majin Buu creature as well as the fact that it was he who killed them with that bright pink light from before. "Guess you didn't know about that did you?"
"You're kidding right?" asked Shu, hoping that it was all just some kind of joke but nobody was laughing at all, a sign that they were serious about what they were telling the two right now. "I don't believe this!"
"Well you better believe it, right now Gohan is the one who's fighting against that monster and more so as this is no longer about just the galaxy but also the entire universe too…" added Bulma, knowing that it needed to be said right there and then even if it was towards two former foes from the past before the whole mess with the Saiyans. "In case you don't know who Gohan is, he's one of Goku's and Chi-Chi's sons."
"However, there is something else you should know… there is another Majin Buu right where the evil one is fighting Gohan…" began Mr. Satan, deciding to step in as they have the right to hear what he has to say. "That other Buu isn't bad at all, in fact he's my friend."
"Your friend?!" exclaimed Mai, though she had not personally met Mr. Satan before or heard of him, even Shu was just as dumbfounded as his human partner. "Just who do you think you are anyway?"
"You don't know who I am?! I am Mr. Satan, the World Martial Arts Champion and saviour of the entire world!" yelled the World Champ, wondering how neither of the new comers in this place have ever even heard of him let alone be in awe at his awesomeness; then again this could be worse. "How could you not hear about me?"
"Maybe we were living under a rock but last we checked, it was Goku who defeated the Red Ribbon Army and King Piccolo…." said Mai, giving a simple shrug and the news made Mr. Satan confused since he never heard of either King Piccolo or the Red Ribbon Army. "Now that I think about it, why isn't Goku the one facing this Majin Buu?"
"Yeah, I'm wondering the same thing… we couldn't beat him no matter what we tried and if this Majin Buu guy is so strong… what chances does Goku or Gohan have against him?" Shu started lowering his head, having no idea on what kind of power the evil Majin Buu had against the two.
"Well so far Gohan seems to have the upper hand in the battle but it was thanks to the Supreme Kai that he was able to become the warrior that he is right now" King Kai spoke up, getting their attention and chuckled a bit since it was his first time meeting both of Goku's childhood foes. "For now, all we can do is watch and hope that he can win otherwise it could mean the end of everything that we know it… more so if the evil Buu starts destroying Otherworld."
"Okay and that's a bad thing because…" Shu wasn't sure what to make of it, nor did Mai as there were those who are already dead in the Otherworld, which was a bad thing if they should be slain while deceased…. King Kai gave a serious scowl that caught the two former villains almost completely off-guard.
"You know that everyone in this world, including ourselves is already dead right?" explained King Kai, wanting to get straight to the point as it was important that they all needed to know about the consequences of what could happen. "If any of the dead were to be killed while still being dead, then they would be erased from existence… in other words, they'd be gone forever with no means of coming back ever."
The dead people just looked over at King Kai each one had worried looks on their faces as hopped even more that Gohan would win this fight. "I just hope that Gohan wins." Bulma said as she wondered just how Gohan could with what Buu could do.
The other woman just nodded at this and knew it was for the best after all the last thing they wanted was to be killed once again by this monster. "Hey don't worry from what you have told me Gohan will win." Erasa said with a smile, as she had faith that Gohan would win.
The two older women just gave a smile as they two nodded at this. "Yeah Gohan is my son I know that he won't let Buu get away with what he has done," Chichi said as she smiled proudly.
King Kai on the other hand nodded as he and the others looked back at the fight and the Kai just gave a smile at how well Gohan was doing, but knew that Kid Buu would only be getting a lot more angry.
And that is what was going on right now on the Planet as Kid Buu was starting to fight back even more, as the pink monster just yelled as punched Gohan in the face and took off into the sky and began to fire Ki blast at Gohan. All the while Buu just laughed madly at what he was doing all he wanted was for this to end so he could go on to destroy all that this fool cared for, and he knew just who he would go after next.
Gohan on the other hand was having none of it and as he recovered, he made a mad dash towards Buu, avoiding the energy blasts as much as he could, grunting at the few that did hit him or scraped him, but not stopping as he charged up his own attack in his right fist, before firing it at point-blank range to where it literally blew Kid Buu's head clean off, getting some reprieve before Buu would regenerate.
Videl in the meantime could feel that her power was beginning to manifest itself within her. Just hang in there, Gohan; I'll be with you soon... She thought to herself as she waited for the ritual to finish.
As Buu got his head back, Gohan grabbed him by the neck and simply bitch-slapped him several times across the face, much like what Super Saiyan Goku did to Frieza on the doomed Planet Namek, adding more humiliation to the pink monstrosity.
"Stop regenerating like a cheating little prick and DIE ALREADY!" Gohan hollered as he slapped Buu left and right, knocking him silly and dazing Buu.
Kid Buu recovered and punched Gohan in the face several times, until Gohan grabbed his wrists, pulling them away from him.
"Is that all you've got?! Pathetic little weasel, you will rule the day that you crossed my path and your payment isn't done yet..." Gohan then snapped, kicking Buu in the stomach knee first, gaining some ground as Buu held his stomach.
"This is for ALL THE EARTHLINGS YOU KILLED!" Gohan then snarled as he powered up and dashed to Buu and blinding speed, giving Buu no time to react...
As the remaining Z-Fighters and the audience in Other World watched, they were shocked as they would suddenly see a chain-trail of explosions being detonated on the battlefield, first skidding over the ground, but then taking into the air in random directions at high speed, all the while explosions kept ringing all over the specific area, making the Supreme Kai's Planet shake from the booming shockwaves, right before a more greater chain of explosives were visible high in the sky... with Gohan appearing from it first, barely harmed! Kid Buu on the other hand spotted many bruises and lacerations as he fell to the ground several seconds later...
Needless to say, Kid Buu began laughing insanely as he extended his arm and grabbed Gohan's throat, looking forward to getting revenge for all the pain he had given him and returning it ten-fold, more so slamming the Half-Saiyan warrior onto the ground without a shred of regret much to the horror of everyone present, the monstrous creature was now beginning to beat Gohan up as the male Z-Fighter could barely defend himself, to Piccolo and the other surviving Z-Fighters, the elder Half-Saiyan had used up most of his energy in the fight. "Gohan!" exclaimed Goten, shocked when he witnessed his older brother starting to lose his edge in the fight.
"I don't believe it… now how are we going to beat this guy?" asked Trunks, not liking the sound of this and the two knew that it was only a matter of time before Kid Buu kills him, which means they need to do something soon.
"Hehehehehehehehe…." grinned Kid Buu, really enjoying the pain he was bringing and will certainly look forward making him suffer slowly before he takes his attention towards the others, especially the Saiyan known as Goku though while having used up a lot of power in the conflict, Gohan was still capable of putting up a good fight only for the monster to slam him hard onto the ground once more.
Gohan was breathing heavily, mentally cursing Kid Buu for being able to keep fighting and himself for allowing him to do what he had done previously, commenting to himself that it wouldn't have happened had he just finished off the bastard back when he was Super Buu… unfortunately what's done is done, the only way to stop him now was to go-all out despite his current disadvantage. Alright, time for a new plan… come on Gohan, what would your father do at a time like this? He mentally asked himself, needing to come up with something soon however he would see that Kid Buu was heading his way again, forcing him to defend against the onslaught of punches and kicks. "Dammit…" he cursed, both kicking each other in the face at the exact same time yet unlike with Super Buu, this incarnation didn't give the Half-Saiyan the chance to land back on his feet, grabbing one of his legs then tossed him into a nearby cliff then with one powerful blast of pink ki energy, the evil Buu blasted the cliff to nothing but rubble.
There was nothing but silence as the everyone witnessing the battle had to shield their eyes until the light fade, yet Goku started gritting his teeth, realizing that things are starting to take a turn for the worse while Kid Buu waited for his opponent to come back up as there was smoke coming from where the cliff once stood, he wanted their conflict to continue then after nearly a few seconds, Tien spoke up. "You don't think he's…" he didn't finish what he was going to say when Goku interrupted him.
"Don't even think about it, he's alive and he can't die this easily!" snapped pure-hearted Saiyan Warrior, praying that Gohan survived the blast and was angrier when he heard Kid Buu's insane cackle, while this was going on… Gohan knew that he needed to stall long enough to find a way to win, for the sake of every single innocent life that was taken away previously but it won't be so easy this time.
A/Ns: Well here is the official final battle against the demonic Kid Buu, there will be some more twists to come but enjoy what I have for the time being. Trust me, I know this may be a bit random with Kid Buu suddenly gaining the upper hand in the fight but I have a good reason for it which will be revealed in due time.
