Kid Buu's Defeat

Kid Buu laughed psychotically, as if he had won this battle though the others knew that Gohan wasn't taken down by the blast but from what they can tell… the edge that he had previously was now gone, which means it would take a miracle to win, not only did they have the fate of the universe on their hands but also the Other World as well… none of them wished to see any of the souls lost forever yet, a certain Saiyan Prince knew he may get another shot at taking on the evil Buu sooner than he thought. "Looks like this fight's over Kakarot…" he commented, giving Goku a darkened glare while being annoyed with the insane laugh he once again had to hear. "Seems your son wasn't as strong as we originally thought he was."
"Now's not the time for this Vegeta!" Goku lashed back at his fellow Saiyan, as it seems that Kid Buu had a feeling that his opponent wasn't truly dead while at the same time, waited for Gohan to come back up so their fight can continue… Eventually after 30 seconds, he got his wish as the Half-Saiyan warrior came from his hiding spot and decided to go on the offensive again, this time Kid Buu easily dodged a single punch as well as a kick that were thrown at him.
As hard as he tried, none of his attacks were able to hit their mark and grinded his teeth since he couldn't give up not after everything that had happened up until now, unfortunately he felt his left arm grabbed as Kid Buu twisted it to cause him even more pain before Gohan tried to kick him again, leading to the pink monstrosity to vanish out of sight. The next strike caught the elder son of Goku completely off-guard as he was hit in the face by Kid Buu's left leg, sending the Z-Fighter flying before another strike sent him crashing onto the ground. "No Gohan!" yelled Goten, trying to go to his brother's side but Piccolo grabbed his arm since the monster could easily destroy the young boy without even trying. "Let go of me Piccolo! I have to help my big brother!"
"I know you do, but right now with his power… you'll die rather quickly and Gohan's trying to fight at his best, worrying about your safety would make it worse" explained the Namekian warrior, remembering why Goku asked King Kai and Guru to have Dende wish for everyone else on the original planet Namek to be transferred to Earth so he can finish his fight with Frieza.
Blasting his way from under the rubble caused by the explosion, Gohan looked pretty banged up and this time, it was Kid Buu himself that had the advantage in this showdown for the fate of everything as the insane laughter and him pounding his chest made the fighter even angrier…. Yet this was starting to sound familiar to him, especially as he can never forget the moment Videl was nearly beaten to death at the World Martial Arts tournament fighting against that fucking bastard Spovovich while nobody even attempted to stop the match but that hateful expression changed when he saw the evil incarnation of Majin Buu having a single finger pointed at him and before reacting, a pink beam, which resembled that of Frieza's death beam, was fired. To his shock, he tried to protect himself from the blast but while he managed to survive it… he ended up injured even more up to the point where he was now kneeling to the ground.
Yet Gohan just looked up as he saw Kid Buu simple dancing around with a smile on his face enjoying the pain that Gohan was in. Damn I can't give up, not now. Not when so many lives hang in the balance right now.
Kid Buu on the other hand was watching Gohan with a cruel smile on his face, already knowing that the Saiyan was going to stand up, and the pink demon wanted to make a game out of this. Kid Buu wanted to see how many times he could hit Gohan with his beams to see if he would stand or not.
Once Gohan was on his feet he looked over at Kid Buu who was smiling at him with his finger extended, and the half Saiyan already knew what the evil Buu was doing. "Damn you Buu!" Gohan yelled before he was once again fired a, making Gohan cry out in pain, but Buu's laughter heard more than the screams that Gohan was making.
Meanwhile Old Kai was still busy awaking Videl's sleeping powers and the young girl was getting tired, she felt in her heart that something was wrong that Gohan was in trouble and he needed help fast. "Please are you done yet?" Videl asked as she looked over at Old Kai who had fallen asleep. 'He's sleeping at time like this.' The human girl thought with anger burning inside her at the Old Kai.
"Hey wake up! This is no time to be sleeping you know Kid Buu could be killing Gohan right now and I refuse to let the man I love die!" Videl yelled as Old Kai was awoken by her yelling as he looked over at her in shock.
"You heard me, old man; are you going to sit and sleep around and do nothing or are you going to do something to allow me to help my mate-to be?!" Videl snapped again, her power already radiating.
Bee was barking while standing next to Shin and Dende as he was concerned for his owner, the good Majin Buu, who was still banged up from the beating he was given from Kid Buu and especially due to the fact that both of them, along with Videl, were still angry with having to see Mr. Satan being murdered right in front of them and the latter two refused to let anymore of their friends perish because of this.
Deep down, Shin knew that there was more than just one reason why Gohan wished to fight Kid Buu alone, not only to prove himself that he can make a difference but for something much more… especially as he recalled how pissed the warrior was back when Super Buu absorbed Videl and how it made him strong enough to hold off his opponent even though the creature had Piccolo's mind and Gotenks' power… if he hadn't known it, but he had seen the hateful expression before when Videl was fighting her losing battle against Spovovich at the World Martial Arts tournament and Gohan went into his Super Saiyan form just before he attempted to attack had it not been for Yamu convincing his partner to end the fight by tossing her out of the ring.
Gohan huffed as he tried to repel more of Kid Buu's attacks, getting angrier.
"Gah! Not now… I need to keep my focus…" Gohan thought to himself as once more memories began to flood through his mind, causing him to drop his guard for a moment, taking a full strike of one of Kid Buu's attacks, causing him to fall backwards. Now getting royally pissed, Gohan recovered himself and charged right back at Kid Buu, striking him head on in the face.
"STOP LAUGHING, YOU HOMICIDAL MANIAC!" Gohan roared, seeing the evil Buu skidding back from the punch, before Gohan charged on.
This time, Kid Buu was ready and managed to block Gohan's attack this time, managing to strike Gohan in the stomach, only for Gohan to suddenly yank at his head tentacle, making Kid Buu yelp in pain.
"I. Have. HAD. Enough of. YOU!" Gohan drawled in a dangerously low voice, now beginning to get more and more fueled by his anger rather than his own common sense… but why did it look like Gohan was using his anger to his advantage? Gohan was notorious for losing himself into his hidden powers whenever they surfaced, going completely postal on the offender, which was especially prominent in his younger years.
It was clear that Gohan was now losing his advantage over the fight, yet he keeps going. All Gohan wanted right now was to go home, to rest, to be with his family and his friends, to hold the girl most dear to him in his arms, yet this overgrown piece of mutated pink bubble-gum refused to lay down in a corner and die like the animal he was. Thus Gohan decided to keep fighting until he couldn't fight anymore!
"Since you like to fight dirty, how about I return the favor?!" Gohan snapped, before head butting Kid Buu in the face, punching him in the stomach, shortly followed by an uppercut, which sent Kid Buu flying, giving Gohan at least some time to catch a breather.
'My Kingdom for a Senzu Bean,' Gohan thought to himself, or ANYTHING that can help me end this pink bastard and erase his very existence!
Hang in there, Gohan; I'll be with you soon, Videl thought to herself, after all, I have a score to settle with Buu myself for what he did to the both of us.
While becoming stronger takes time, there wasn't any to waste as the longer they wait, the worse their chances are… more so as she needed to remain perfectly still if her sleeping powers were to be awakened and even Shamano knew this, after all from what he had heard, Gohan had to go through the same process after having broken the Z Sword, which resulted in Old Kai being set free and eventually the Half-Saiyan becoming the powerful warrior he is right now.
"I don't believe it, Gohan is in top form but I don't think it's going to be enough…" began Shin, seeing that the half-saiyan warrior was losing his edge and there aren't any Senzu Beans left at all due to Earth having been destroyed previously, which means that if he loses… all hope would be lost. "This is all my fault… had I actually made sure Buu would never threaten the universe again after killing Bibidi, none of this would be happening."
Bee and Dende didn't know what to do or say, more so as they saw via the crystal ball that Kid Buu charged at Gohan, bringing more pain to the young Namekian's friend while feeling helpless that he can't do anything to help… especially upon witnessing the evil incarnation of Buu grabbing Gohan's face and pushed him through rubble until eventually slamming him into the nearest cliff while giving another insane laugh when heretracted the arm and prepared a Vanishing Ball, which resembled the one that destroyed Earth but not as big. "Oh no!" exclaimed Dende, even as Gohan got up, it was already too late as the ball was thrown at him so fast that he had little time to react as it made contact and exploded. "Gohan!"
Nearby, the other surviving Z-Fighters could watch in horror as the explosion tossed Gohan like a rag-doll, severely injuring him once more as from the looks of it, Kid Buu wanted to truly make his opponent suffer slowly and painfully before ending his life as it wouldn't be any fun to kill him right away… another grin formed as he saw Gohan coughing up blood but is still alive… barely just as he felt something grabbing his throat and picking him up. This… this can't happen… I can't lose… not to this monster… he thought despite being strangled by Kid Buu's right hand.
"He can't keep this up any longer…" growled Goku, not liking the outcome of this battle and that he might actually die from the way things are going, however to Goten… it has gone on long enough, more so upon seeing his brother's hand going limp and Kid Buu preparing to put an end to his enemy's life permanently with powerful attack from his left hand, as younger brother turned Super Saiyan and went head on at the monstrous creature much to the dismay of the others. "Wait Goten!"
"You let go of my big brother right now!" he yelled, throwing a punch right at Kid Buuwith fast speed and his only thought was to keep his only sibling from being killed, not after what happened to their mom and their grandfather. Luckily it was more than enough to cause the monster to lose his grip and led to Gohan dropping onto the ground but he found it rather amusing that Goten was now trying to intervene, even seeing the angry expression on the younger half-Saiyan as he prepared for another strike.
Even though he himself was no match for Kid Buu, he could at least do what he can to lure him away from Gohan so the others could give him some help… more so as everything the monster had done, is unforgivable. "I may not be fused with Trunks right now but I'll still kick your butt!" he snapped, charging up a Kamehameha wave and only this time… he's not going to make the same mistake he made when he was SS3 Gotenks back during the fight with Super Buu on Earth.
Kid Buu just looked at the oncoming attack and quickly turned around in order to block the attack. "You won't hurt my brother!" Goten yelled with fury and anger, while Buu just looked at the young Saiyan with a smirk.
"Buu kill you, Buu make you suffer." The pink demon said with a crazy laugh as he charged towards Goten grinning like crazy.
Meanwhile Shin saw the situation that Goten was in and knew that with his power so low Buu would seriously hurt the young Saiyan. "Sir we need to do something Goten can't last with Buu for so long."
Videl just bite her lip at hearing this as she looked over at Old Kai hoping that he was done. "Hey can you do anything." She asked as she looked at Shamano.
"Not much as I can't heal Gohan like Dende or Shin can, and even if we did get them both ere Buu would just attack them and stop us from saving Gohan." Shamano said as she looked at Shin while Dende looked at the fused Kai.
"Well one of us needs to go there then, so we can heal Gohan." Dende said as he looked at Gohan who was lying on the ground.
Videl just looked back at old Kai hearing what they said and frowned once again. "He better hurry it up already."
As she was about to ask how much longer it was going to take and Kibito was about to leave with Shamano to go heal Gohan. "Well you're done." Old kai said to Videl who just looked at the old Kai with a little confusion on her face, wondering if her potential had been awakened.
Goten did his best to fight Kid Buu, but the pink demon once again grinned like a maniac and effortlessly avoided and/or blocked Goten's attacks, before smacking him around like a rag doll because of his own flexible and mallable body, injuring Goten. However, this also stirred up a reaction with Gohan himself…
Gohan was still trying to get up, which shocked Buu to a degree after kicking Goten into a cliff, making him blink.
"You pathetic little weasel… it's time to… put you… in the place… where you belong!" Gohan snarled as he got all the power he could probably muster at this point, once more fueled by his desire to protect those he cares about, coupled with his own anger,frustrations and fears of failing in doing so. With one final roar, Gohan relentlessly charged at Buu, gathering all the energy he could get from his reserves.
"Gohan, what are you doing?!" Goku asked in concern as he watched his eldest son charging at Buu with what could be seen as the last of his power!
"Gohan, don't be a fool!" Piccolo shouted, but Gohan didn't listen as he cocked his fist back.
Zipping by at rapid speed to get past Buu's defenses, Gohan managed to clock Buu HARD in the face, caving his face in… only for that punch to explode in a MASSIVE energy wave at point-blank range, that sent Buu flying and even screaming in pain as the wave hit him.
Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta, Goten, Trunks, Android 17, Zangya, Tien, Chiaotzu, the good Majin Buu… heck even Videl and the people watching in Other World, even Android 18 of all people, were utterly shocked as they witnessed Gohan having literally converted all of his anger and frustrations in that one attack, but as a result, Gohan also collapsed to the ground, trying to get up, but failing as the injuries he suffered were beginning to take a toll on him. To make matters worse, Gohan was now completely spent, while Buu himself once more began to regenerate after the wave died down. However, the regeneration process went slowly, which in turn would give Videl, Shin, Old Kai, Shamano and Dende the time they needed to transport to Gohan and heal him, while also recovering his energy. But their time was running out… The only reprieve Gohan got was that Goten ran over to him and attempted to transfer some of his energy into him so Gohan could at least sit up…
However, the evil Kid Buu grabbed Goten's neck with his antenna and began laughing as he was beating the living crap out of the child much to the horror of the others, especially to Goku as he felt pure anger filling his body as now that his older son was defeated, he refused to let his younger son be killed as he saw the child coughing up blood with each hit to the chest, he couldn't breath either as being strangle was keeping oxygen from entering his lungs. "Damn you... damn you!" he felt himself going into his Super Saiyan 3 form, knowing that was the only thing that can help his sons, understanding how Vegeta felt when Future Trunks had been killed by Super Perfect Cell upon the Android's return to Earth.
Trunks wanted to go to as he changed to his Super Saiyan Form only for Vegeta to stop him. "It would be best if Kakarot and I deal with Buu… you and Piccolo should go help Goten and Gohan while we keep him busy!" The Saiyan Prince told his son before transforming into his Super Saiyan 2 form to join Goku in launching an attack on Kid Buu together, if only to distract him.
Goku quickly used his Instant Transmission and when he appeared, he delivered a powerful punch to the face which allowed Goten to be freed, then kicked the pink monster three times before grabbing the antenna so he can give his opponent a world of pain for all those innocent lives he had taken. Unfortunately this comeback didn't last as Goku felt the antenna grab his throat next as Kid Buu was now hitting him, with the fourth strike sending the SS3 flying back but he was still able to fight to the very end no matter how strong his opponent is. With one blast of golden ki energy, he seemingly blew the demonic creature to smithereens, though as he remembered he can reform himself very quickly.
The good thing was Piccolo and Trunks got to where Gohan and Goten were lying on, quickly taking them back to the others while silently cursing the fact that without senzu beans, they could die without anything that can heal them fast. "Hang on buddy, I'm here for you" he told his best friend, though bore witness to Kid Buu resembling himself but his head was now on his bottom while the legs and bottom were now on top rather than below. "Oh crud, not now…"
Goku on the other hand smirked at the appearance, finding it a bit amusing to see how his opponent reformed. "I know we're both under a lot of pressure but let's try to get our heads on our shoulders" he replied, which only seemed to anger Kid Buu to no end as his head returned to the spot where it is suppose to be then charged at Goku so they can continue their battle. While below, the surviving Z-Fighters were in awe at how powerful that Goku truly was, while he was truly the strongest fighter in the universe other than Gohan, they can only hope that it would be enough to at least give them time to save both Goten and Gohan.
"Just look at them go… astounding…" began Vegeta, starting to see how strong Goku's Super Saiyan 3 form is when fighting seriously even though he was still rather angry that his rival hid that power from him back when they battled on Earth prior to Majin Buu's revival but now it was needed if they are to truly bring an end to this monster for good.
Goku wasn't letting up as he was giving it his all, he knew he needed to end this and soon, as he failed to mention that he couldn't maintain Super Saiyan 3 for too long due to being alive as Gotenks had found out the hard way previously. The problem is that unlike most of his previous foes, he doubts that Kid Buu would give him the time needed to make a comeback, more so upon being hit by the creature after rolling into a ball and bouncing from the group right at him. While he managed to avoid the second strike at him, he saw Kid Buu bouncing around a bit before chasing him in the sky until he eventually caused the monster to crash into the ground upon leading him to the exact spot which resulted in a large tremor taking place throughout the entire planet.
"No way…" said Tien, watching as he witnessed the immense battle that was occurring and even Chiaotzu found himself at a loss of words from the intense action, while wondering if this was the true power of Super Saiyan 3. Then again, they and their allies knew that it wasn't over, if Kid Buu was able to witness all of Gohan's attacks and what Goten did, they had a feeling Goku would feel what kind of foe they truly are up against as the Pure-Hearted Saiyan Warrior looked down at the large hole that was now where the evil Buu had crashed through.
Alright, where are you Buu? He thought, having a bad feeling that Kid Buu wanted him to look down so he'd be caught off-guard, much to his dismay, the ground shook once again as he moved away from the spot… however, he didn't see the monstrous creation rising up yet. Without saying anything, he moved from one spot to another while at the same time, wondering where Buu is as he realized that his opponent was still underground… waiting for just the right moment to make his next move.He's got to come up sometime, I can feel his power.
Videl on the other hand was ready to head to the battle as she looked at Shin, Shamanoand Dende, and nodded at the two. "Remember once we get there we heal Gohan and then Dende and I will head back to my elder." Shin said as he was ready to teleport back to his home world.
Videl nodded at this her face was hardened. "You hold on Gohan I refuse to let you die at the hands of that monster." She thought as she remembers all the people she has lost to Buu. "I've lost so many people I care for my friends and my father, no more I will not lose another person." Videl thought with more determination. "I just hope I can help." Was all she said wondering if what Old Kai had done for her would be enough to help?
"Alright, let's get going!" said Shin while grabbing Videl's hand, he could feel Gohan's and Goten's power levels were fading fast which was a bad sign especially to Shamano and Dende, both of which could sense it too… as while Goku is fighting Kid Buu, they needed to act right away if they were to save both Half-Saiyans.
"Just be careful Shin…" explained Shamano, knowing that after seeing Kid Buu capable of even against the Z-Fighters together, it would take more than just Videl joining the fray to stop that monster though if the two Half-Saiyan children of Goku are saved from death, then they might have a chance as he was also aware of the limitations that Super Saiyan 3 has. "If you and Dende were to be killed then there would be no way for you to get to New Namek and wish back everyone Buu had killed."
"We'll be very cautious. Just focus on healing the wounded warriors. If anything, if they would tap into the Zenkai, the ability unique to Saiyans to become stronger after recovering from near-fatal injuries, it would make Goten and ESPECIALLY Gohan MUCH stronger than they were before, but you have to hurry!" Shin said.
"Right then, you and Dende heal Gohan, Videl you stay by him I'll keep Buu busy with some help." Shamano said, as Shin teleported himself, Shamano, Videl and Dende towards Gohan, with Dende immediately going to work in healing Gohan with Videl athis side, while Shin went to heal Goten.
"Come on, Gohan… stay with me… please…" Videl said in a pleading tone.
Gohan, while barely conscious, registered the voice of Videl talking to him… and was she holding his hand? This alone gave Gohan the drive to continue to fight, but he also knew that he was wounded and had to be healed. Fortunately, Dende was there and, remembering how his dad and Vegeta became so strong after being beaten into a mess and recovering from that, he decided to take his chance and tap into this ability. If it would help him to finally do what he wanted to do, protecting his beloved, his family and friends and FINALLY putting an end to that pink menace once and for all, he would need every bit of strength that he could muster! This drive alone, coupled with Dende's healing, already began to show signs as his wounds began to close up, while his Saiyan genes went to work on reinforcing the body, increasing its resistance and durability and enhancing his strength in the process, the bleeding of the worst wounds beginning to cease and instead beginning to work on the repairing and reinforcing of his body. The same process was used within Goten as Shin proceeded to heal him too, while at the same time Goku was still beating the living daylights out of Buu, mostly to buy Dende and Shin enough time to get Gohan and Goten fixed up and bring Goten back into action.
Time was off the essence right here and both Piccolo and Vegeta were standing by in case Goku was facing difficulties or if Buu discovered what was going on. Keeping Buu occupied was now crucial in order to rejuvenate the Son siblings, with Videl trying to keep Gohan with her, feeling his strength returning.
Videl just continued to watch as she held his hand in her own. "Please be okay." She said, she didn't want to lose anyone else to Buu she had already lost so much to him.
As this was happening, the Good Majin Buu was slowly starting to get back up though he was still rather banged up from his fight with Kid Buu as he felt the presence of Mr. Satan's daughter nearby while at the same time, wondering why she is back here and the fact she also seemed to be rather different than before. "Hey, you shouldn't be moving around too much" Zangya told the good Buu and sensed that Kid Buu wasn't losing any energy while Goku is the longer he is in SS3 form.
Luckily there was good news as Goten and Gohan were being healed by Shin and Dende, a good sign as well since Trunks witnessed his best friend going into cardiac arrest upon coughing up blood while he was laying on the ground. As soon as both Half-Saiyans were fully-healed, they were shocked to not only see Dende and Shin back on the planet but also Videl as well much to the older son sibling's dismay. "Videl, what are you doing here?" he asked, not too happy to see the girl he loved back on the planet as it was too dangerous for her to remain there.
"Shin brought me here, I didn't want to see you die out there or even at all!" yelled Videl, hitting Gohan's arm as she wasn't pleased with the reaction to say the least. "Besides, I am stronger than I was before thanks to Old Kai."
Remaining silent, Gohan took the time to sense that there was an increase to Videl's Power Level since when she left with Old Kai, Shin, Shamano, Dende and Bee prior to the battle with Kid Buu taking place in the sacred world while at the same time, was thankful that the three chose to come back since without Senzu beans, he and his younger brother would have died from their current conditions. "Dende, could you heal the Good Majin Buu?" he suggested to his Namekian friend much to the dismay of Vegeta.
"Are you insane Gohan?!" exclaimed the Saiyan Prince with a darkened expression on his face when he heard the older Half-Saiyan's suggestion. "Haven't you forgotten that he was the reason we have this unstoppable Buu to deal with right now?!"
Gohan bit his lower lip, while he wasn't on Earth when Super Buu came to be, he was informed of what had happened after having lost to the good Buu. "I know that, right now the situation has changed and that's all in the past, why can't you see that?" he replied back, a bit angry with Vegeta, who wanted to destroy the good Buu. "Also the Good Buu was Mr. Satan's friend and he was able to convince him not to kill any more innocent lives!"
Videl just nodded after all she just looked over at the Good Buu and smiled knowing that he had indeed changed, and for the better as well. "Gohan's right Good Buu has changed." Videl said with a firm voice, "And we need to help him."
Gohan nodded at what Videl was saying as he looked over at Kid Buu knowing that he needed to be stopped now. "Videl's right just go, heal Good Buu while I'll deal with Kid Buu once and for all." Gohan said as he took off from where he was to the direction that Kid Buu was in.
Gohan felt that his strength had increased greatly now that he was healed, smiling.
"Now, it's time to put that piece of oversized mutated bubblegum back in his place." He said, unaware that Videl on her turn was getting ready to join him.
Goku tried to still make a stand against the maniacal freak known as Kid Buu, but his strength was leaving him, his body being overtaxed due to the prolonged use of Super Saiyan 3 which didn't do his energy reserves any good. However, before Kid Buu could make any real damaging blows to the Earth-raised Saiyan Warrior, he was clocked in the face by the rejuvenated Gohan, sending the evil djinn flying away into a nearby cliff.
"Huh?! Gohan!" Goku said, shocked.
"Relax, dad. Dende will be here to heal you soon. It's my turn now again." Gohan said, savouring the shocked look on Kid Buu's face upon seeing him.
"Hey, Buu... did you miss me?" Gohan coyly said, before appearing in front of him.
In frustration, Kid Buu sucker-punched Gohan in the face, but this time, Gohan remained standing, as if he didn't flinch.
"Show's over, punk." Gohan said, before slugging the djinn in the stomach, followed by a fierce uppercut and then finished with a massive punch to the jaw that would with any normal opponent knock the head clean off. This was then followed by an extremely fierce kick in the stomach which, unknown to everyone, caused Cell in HFIL to flinch; the kick Gohan used on Buu was the SAME gut kick that Cell had been hit with, causing the self-proclaimed perfect being to regurgitate Android 18 during the Cell games seven years ago. Cell still was very upset at Gohan for being able to make him revert back to his Semi-Perfect form, but being in fact capable of doing so and by extent having actually rescued someone Cell did manage to consume in his quest for perfection was something that Cell had to give Gohan credit for, albeit begrudgingly. Coupled with the fact that Gohan now had a major increase in power thanks to being healed made this memory in particular even more painful, as it definitely proved that Cell wasn't so 'perfect' as he claimed to be after all...
"Unbelievable..." began Vegeta, while he had expected Goku to at least try his luck in destroying Kid Buu, he started to scowl when he saw that not only was the Super Saiyan 3 being beaten but he himself won't be getting his shot at the evil creature since Gohan was fully-healed and stronger than he was before. "Dammit, I was hoping to deal with that monster to give Kakarot some time to get energy back..."
"Well you won't have to worry about it, as soon as Dende heals Goku up... We'll see if Gohan needs our help again" explained Piccolo, giving the Saiyan Prince a serious glance though the looks of it... They might not need to get involved after all but that doesn't seem to be the only thing as the surviving Z-Fighters felt Videl was much different than she was previously which made him suspect that it was all Old Kai's doing, like how Gohan had become stronger after having lost to Majin Buu.
"It's her again..." came Zangya's voice, her attention was towards Videl but at the same time, was shocked that Gohan was even stronger upon having been healed by Dende along with Goten. "How is it that she seems rather stronger than she was when she left this planet? Wasn't she suppose to stay out of this?"
"You don't know who she is don't you?" asked Goten, while he was able to stand up again, he was curious on how he himself was stronger, not just Gohan and Videl. "Her name is Videl Satan, he's Mr. Satan's daughter!"
"Mr. Satan, wasn't he the guy we saw that evil Buu kill earlier?" she asked him, while her memory of having seen Mr. Satan was a bit foggy since she was more focused with the real problem and it was then that she realized another thing. "Now that I think of it, he was the same guy I saw on Earth years ago back when I was part of Bojack's gang wasn't he? Yes, I am remembering clearly now..."
Her expression darkened at remembering this as she never forgave Bojack for killing her just to try and take out Gohan when two of his gang members were easily killed by the Half-Saiyan after he went into his SS2 form and even after she was brought back to life along with all of the victims that Bojack and his gang killed at the time, that was something she could never get over since then. "Bojack? Who exactly is that guy?" she heard Goten ask her since he never saw Bojack or his gang when they attacked Earth.
"Someone I prefer not to talk about!" answered Zangya with a huff, as she wondered how Mr. Satan managed to survive his vehicle crashing during the conflict with Bojack but he couldn't survive Kid Buu ripping his heart out and blasting his body to smithereens on this place, she couldn't help but see that Videl's expression was also different because of it. "I appreciate it if you don't press on concerning that subject!"
"I understand, sorry if it bothered you..." He replied, though the orange-haired female just gave a sigh as he might never understand especially as he wasn't aware she was a bad girl herself back then either.
"Well let's just hope that Gohan can finally end Buu." Trunks said as he watched feeling a little upset that neither he nor Goten were able to beat him. "Well I think after this we should train a little more." Trunks said as he looked over to his best friend.
Goten just nodded as well as he looked at his big brother fighting with everything that he had. "Your right Trunk I want to become stronger like Gohan." He said with a smile on his face.
Kid Buu on his turn was unable to comprehend it! Why was his opponent so strong? Or better yet, how did he gain so much power in such a short time?! This confusion left Kid Buu open for a vast beating courtesy of Gohan, who was now smacking Kid Buu around like a pinball, yet he gave Buu no single chance to rest this time, grabbing his neck in one hand, his legs at the other, before delivering a rather VICIOUS knee-strike in the back, which by a NORMAL person would have cleaved the spinal column in two! Yet, Buu was no normal person after all, as he tried to attack Gohan out of pure frustration, only for Gohan to slug the djinn in the gut, before unleashing an energy wave at point-blank range, blasting a hole clean through the djinn's body!
Being blasted away, Kid Buu did his best to regenerate the wounds, but he hesitated as he saw Gohan approaching with that intimidating, stern appearance and look on his face.
"This ends NOW!" Gohan snarled.
Out of frustration, not wanting to meet his end like this, Kid Buu charged at Gohan, only for the half-Saiyan to violently clock Buu in the face, sending him backwards. Regaining his footing, Buu punched Gohan in the face as well, only for Gohan to retaliate with a knee strike in his side, after which Buu retaliated with a punch and a kick in Gohan's stomach, only for Gohan to grab his leg after the kick, swinging Buu around like a rag doll and smashing him down on the ground. Hurt, Buu managed to roll away before Gohan could stomp his face in, kicking the leg to make Gohan lose his footing, before pouncing on him like a predator. Rolling around for a few meters, Gohan then tossed Buu in the air, before grabbing Buu by the face and smashed him head-first on the ground, before jumping forward with a roll and smashed Buu on the ground again, before using one of his feet to trap Buu's arm.
"I understand it all now," Gohan said as he began to mercilessly pound onto Buu's face, "the TRUE reason for my wrath!"
After pounding on Buu's face some more, Buu recovered and turned the tables.
"BUU KILL YOU!" Kid Buu shouted as he punched Gohan in the face a few times, but then Gohan recovered, hurt but on a lesser scale as he got up.
"I could not stand it!" Gohan then said, getting up.
Buu then kicked Gohan twice in the side, but after the second time, Gohan grabbed Buu's extended leg, pulling himself forward and clocking Buu in the face again.
Skidding backwards, but regaining his footing, Buu looked at Gohan before charging at him after unleashing some steam as a form of power up, ready to punch his face in.
However, Gohan saw him coming and actually head-butted Buu's incoming fist. A sudden shockwave was unleashed into Buu's hand, rushing through the extended arm and into Buu's body, causing Buu to howl in agony as he took a few steps backwards, trying to attack again, but finding himself unable to hold his footing… as if something had been damaging him clearly from the INSIDE!
"There is ALWAYS some fool, who wants to rule or destroy the world," Gohan then snarled at Buu, approaching him before delivering a vicious punch in the face, sending the djinn flying backwards on the ground while still approaching him, "ALWAYS forcing others to do what they cannot do for themselves!"
Buu now looked up in utter fear at Gohan, wondering how could he be so powerful like that, only to receive a fierce uppercut that practically flattened his jaw! Flying backwards again, Buu then tried to get up, while Gohan was still approaching him.
However, he waited for just the right moment as he was preparing to launch a counterattack that Gohan would never expect as he raised one hand with a sadistic grin as a ball of pink energy formed and with one grin as soon as his opponent was close enough... He threw a powerful planet burst at Gohan, who had little time to react as he stopped the ball of energy in its tracks, failing to see that it was not the only thing Kid Buu had up his sleeve as he got into the air while laughing maniacally... From the ground, Goku immediately realized from the way Kid Buu's hands were placed together, he was preparing one final strike. "Oh no!" he exclaimed, he was still being healed by Dende as it required him staying still in order to be fully-healed as Kid Buu charged up his Super Kamehameha.
"What the?!" asked Piccolo, recognizing the attack as did the other surviving Z-Fighters, a sign that Kid Buu was preparing to destroy the entire planet and them with it with that combination of his as the Super Kamehameha was much stronger than the normal one. "Is he doing what I think he is?!"
"Not again!" growled Vegeta, as if destroying Earth in order to get rid of them all wasn't already enough... Now he will be preparing to destroy this planet too only this time, there will no way for them to escape. "I had enough of this!"
Tien saw Vegeta go into his Super Saiyan 2 form and was preparing to go out there to intervene, only for the three-eyed fighter to block his way. "Are you fucking insane?!" he snapped, not liking where this is going. "Do you really want to risk your life to try and stop him?"
"Stay out of my way three-eyes!"
"No Vegeta, even as a Super Saiyan 2... I can't allow you to get involved in his fight!" yelled Tien, more so as this wasn't like when they were enemies as things had changed within the past years since then. "You seem to have forgotten that you are already dead and being slain while being dead means you won't just die, but you'll be gone... For good!"
"Why should I care?!" asked Vegeta, raising one hand at Tien as a means to threaten to blast him into a million pieces if he doesn't step aside. "If you were wise, you would get out of my way or else?!"
"Or else what?" Tien replied back, not so afraid of this threat as he was stronger than when he tried to fight Nappa long ago and Chiaotzu remained silent while hoping that Tien wouldn't do anything reckless at a time like this while at the same time, wasn't pleased with Vegeta's decision to try and go out there.
The Saiyan Prince gave a darkened scowl. "You don't want to push me..." He responded, getting more and more irritated by the minute the longer they wait, the worse their chances of survival are. "Unless you want to find out for yourself, you will get out of my way!"
"Wait a minute..." It was then that Android 17 sensed something and they were all accounted for, including Goku, Dende, Shin and the recently fully-healed good Buu which means only one thing and before he could say a word... Kid Buu was suddenly punched in the gut much to his shock, which allowed Gohan enough time to push the Planet Burst attack off of the planet with all his might, resulting in one of the moons being destroyed instead. "No way!"
Everyone was shocked as they looked up to see Videl was the one who attacked and then proceeded to use her signature move the Eagle Kick right at the evil Buu's head... However, despite this, Kid Buu twisted his head back to its proper place much like Spovovich did before him and with one swat, he sent Videl plummeting to the ground only for something or someone to catch her at the very last second. "Gohan?" she asked, opening her eyes to see that she was in Gohan's arms once more this time she could see this and tried her best to hide a blush from her cheeks.
"Videl, what are you thinking?" he asked, gently placing her down and he was not happy that she tried to help even though she was stronger than when she left the planet before. "This is dangerous, this Buu will kill you the first chance he gets!"
"So what?" she replied, rather mad at this answer especially as if it wasn't for her, he would have ended up hurt again and she wasn't one to stand by while he does all the fighting after everything that had happened up till now. "Don't you think you should be showing some gratitude to me?"
"Vid, you have no idea how grateful I am for doing what you did, make no mistake. I'm just saying that if something happens to you now, there is no telling what it would do to me." Gohan said, grabbing her shoulders, which made Videl blink, even beginning to blush at what she assumed to be an affectionate nickname for her…
"But we have to beat him now before he kills us or drives us insane." Gohan then said.
"Then let's beat him together." Videl said.
"What?" Gohan asked.
"Let us both end him. Since we both have a bone to pick with that freak, we can kill two birds with one stone with this."
"Are you certain that you will go through with this?"
"Yes, I am sure. If we can focus our powers into a single, combined attack, perhaps it'll give us the drive to finally put an end to this all. Perhaps that rage of yours can be used as a catalyst." Videl said.
"Right." Gohan said, getting ready to attack.
Kid Buu merely grinned as he tried to attack the heroic couple, charging head first at Gohan and punching him in the face. But Gohan remained standing, much to Buu's shock… even more when Gohan grabbed the arm that punched him and squeezed it in a motion that, with a normal person, would break it…
"Remember what I just told you, Buu?!" Gohan then said in a low tone, something that even intimidated Videl for a moment.
Buu blinked in wonder at the young Saiyan, before his expression went one of malice once more.
"That's why… I pray to NO ONE!" Gohan then roared as he violently punched Kid Buu in the stomach, causing Buu to double over, his eyes and mouth going wide open.
"NOR WILL I BE EVER PRAYED TO!" Gohan then snarled, dealing a VICIOUS uppercut to the evil djinn, nearly flattening his jaw again.
"But… above all else…" Gohan said, letting his rage build up to its fullest extent as he gathered all the power he could muster, "I will NEVER… forgive you… FOR MAKING MY GIRLFRIELD LIVE THROUGH SUCH A HELL!"
With that, Gohan then punched Kid Buu FOUR times in the face, the force of each punch being so strong; were it a weaker opponent or more solid like Cell or Frieza or even a Human, it would either knock the head clean off the body or at least shatter practically EVERY bone in the skull, or even make one lose ALL of his teeth and breaking both jaws in an instant.
Kid Buu was sent flying once again, this time too dazed to recover right away… as if he now needed TIME to properly recover. THIS was the opportunity Gohan was looking for as he now powered up to the max, with Videl at his side, who powered up in turn.
"THIS IS YOUR END!" Gohan and Videl roared as they both charged at Kid Buu, synchronizing their energies with each other, cocking a fist back. As Kid Buu shook the stars out of his vision, he was suddenly greeted with one male and one female fist colliding with his face, which promptly detonated in another massive energy wave at point blank range… and this time, Buu actually screamed in agony as parts of his body were beginning to disintegrate… The time has come to end this for good as Gohan prepared the killing blow. "Ka... Me... Ha... Me... Ha!"
Everyone watched in shock and in awe as Gohan and Videl used an even more powerful version of his Super Kamehameha, which Kid Buu in his current condition proved to be unable to stop as he felt himself slowly disintegrating but Goku had something he needed to say himself as it may be the only chance he had in doing so. "It looks like it's the end of the road Buu... It's a darn shame, when I first met you I could sense that there was good in you... You were like a little child that didn't know any better, fighting was more of a game than anything else!" a frown began to form on his face, remembering the day he first met Majin Buu and his brief battle with him as a Super Saiyan 3 followed by when he saw the how Super Buu came to be as well as the destruction and deaths he caused as Super Buu and eventually as Kid Buu. "But then, you separated... The evil was expelled, the struggle taking place inside you was now on the outside for all to see and the darkness overpowered the light! After that, you were different, you were ruthless... You became a living nightmare, you delighted in every moment of it... You didn't even show a shred of mercy decency or mercy... And that's why it has to end like this! You'll have to learn the hard way and know what it feels like to have your life taken away against your will! It's wrong!"
He looked at Gohan and Videl, knowing it was their chance to bring an end to this nightmare once and for all, giving them a nod of approval then turned his attention towards the now dying Kid Buu. "Maybe you will come back some day, as... As a better person... I hope... I'd like that... Perhaps we'll have a little one on one!" he finished with what he has to say then mentally contacted Gohan and Videl. With his small smile returning. Gohan, Videl... Do it!
With one final yell, the Super Kamehameha was given the power needed to obliterate Kid Buu to the point where he would be unable to put himself back together... As the demonic creature's final scream was heard throughout the entire planet as like Super Perfect Cell before him, his reign of terror has finally come to an end thanks to its new saviour... Gohan. "Adios, I'll be waiting for you Majin Buu..." Goku whispered to himself, knowing it was now finally over but there seems to be one last thing that needed to be done.
As the Super Kamehameha and Kid Buu's energy were gone, Gohan was glad that they managed to win in the end but he couldn't have done it alone either. "It's over..." he said with a grin on his face having finally kept his promise to Kibito while Vegeta scoffed, showing his usual angry expression.
"It's about time!" he commented, reverting back to his normal state and mentally wishing that he had gotten to take his anger out on Kid Buu though now there was no need for it, then turned to see how Goku was doing as he was already fully-healed by Dende at this point.
In the air, Videl looked down to see that Kid Buu is indeed laid to rest as there was no sign of him or any remains on the ground and the crater made by the Super Kamehameha grazed through from where he once stood. Then she turned to the boy she had fallen in love with and she never knew how strong he really was first-hand until recently but at the same time, she didn't care.
Everyone in Heaven and Hell were shocked, it seems Gohan and Videl were able to destroy Kid Buu, even more so the villains within Hell itself as now Gohan had surpassed his own father as the strongest in the universe while, both Pilaf, Bibidi and Babidi were happy that the threat that was the evil Buu was no more. "So Gohan actually did it! A pity that I wasn't able to witness it firsthand because of that damned traitor!" grinned Babidi, then turned his attention towards Pilaf who was at a loss of words as Gohan bore similarities to Goku. "What say you?"
"Well, uh... I..." he didn't know what to say to the wizard but was glad it wasn't him fighting the Half-Saiyan as he would have been killed immediately even with Shu's and Mai's assistance as they couldn't even beat Goku much less his son. "Just how strong is this guy?"
"You have no idea what this boy is do you?" asked Babidi, shaking his head at this and knew how stupid Pilaf is due to reading his mind and seeing the Emperor wanted nothing more than to use the Dragonballs to achieve world domination, commenting if it were him, he would have used them for Eternal Life and taking control of Buu rather than simple World Domination. "You and I have a lot to discuss my friend... Come with me."
"Uh... Sure..." said Pilaf, following Babidi to the right while not sure what to make of things anymore as there was no longer a world for him to take over and he hated having to remain stuck in the depths of hell for the rest of his life, the worse of it were that Shu and Mai were probably enjoying heaven right now while he has to suffer which is something he despised with a passion.
Back on the Sacred Kai Planet with the Z fighters, Shin had gone to pick up Old Kai, the Nimbus Cloud, Shamano and Bee, Videl just smiled as she landed on the ground and gave a deep sigh. "Well it's over at long last." She said with a smile as she looked over to see that Old Kai and Bee had come back.
Videl just smiled as she picked up the small dog and held him in her arms, the little dog just smiled at Videl as he began to lick her cheek, which only made Videl smile at the dog she was holding. "Bad Buu gone?" Mr. Buu asked.
"Yes, the Bad Buu is gone." Videl said, smiling.
"Now we can FINALLY get the Namekian Dragon Balls and bring back Earth and its entire population who died by the hands of Buu, with the only exception to the very evil Humans…" Gohan said.
"So you mean…" Videl asked.
"Yes, we will bring every one of our friends and family who died because of the Bad Buu back to life. My mother, your father, Bulma, Krillin, #18… everyone dear to us. The only thing we will have to explain is that the Buu we have with us here is on our side." Gohan said.
"I see your point, not to mention the general public still see him as the one who caused the misery…" Videl said.
"Then I may have a suggestion…" Goku then said as he approached his son and his girlfriend.
"And what would that be, dad?" Gohan asked.
"We can use one wish of the Namekian Dragon Balls to revive Earth, the second to revive its population and the third one to wipe the memories of Buu from the general population, save for us to ensure the Good Buu can safely associate with people. Since everything happened in the span of only a day, we can probably make it so the General population has had a day's worth of sleep, which probably would do them a lot of good, considering what they're going through all the time." Goku said.
"That's a great idea." Videl said, smiling.
"So, what will you do once that's done, dad? Go back to training again?" Gohan then asked.
"No, I first want to spend some time with my wife first. I… I honestly felt quite devastated when I learned she was killed and… I feel guilty of not being able to save her back then." Goku said, looking actually saddened… and even ashamed!
Okay, that shut Gohan and Videl both up and made them stare at Goku as if he had grown some common sense! If it were a cartoon, their lower jaws would have become best friends with the ground at this time. And with the way Goku looked, he was DEAD serious about what he just said.
Everyone just smiled as they all got ready to so they could head to New Namek when a flash of light appeared in the middle of the sky and they all looked up to see what it was.
"What is that?" asked Vegeta, as if they thought it was another threat that they were not aware of and was about to go Super Saiyan when something came out of the light, heading towards an area that wasn't too far from where they stood, what shocked them was that it resembled something very familiar. "Was that a time machine?!"
"From the looks of it, I'd say it is..." frowned Piccolo, suspecting that it might be someone who is coming to warn them about an enemy they might be facing or another problem that could possible bring about the end of the universe. "Could it be Future Trunks?"
"Future Trunks?" asked Videl with a frown, wondering how they knew about this time-traveller or who he was but she, Goten, Zangya, Bee, Trunks, Android 16, Android 17, Android 18, Marron, Chi-Chi, Mr. Satan and even Mr. Buu didn't know anything on what happened from the timeline he came from or the reason he went back in time to prevent that from ever happened. "Is there something you haven't been telling me?"
"We'll explain later, right now I can sense that their power is fading fast!" answered Gohan since now wasn't the time to tell her just yet and was hoping to do so once Earth was restored and after they were reunited with their family and friends. "I am not sure if it is Future Trunks and if it is, we better hurry up and meet with him!"
Goku nodded, but had a feeling that they might not make it on time by walking or flying so that means only one thing. "Gather close, I might be able to get us there faster via Instant Transmission!" he suggested, getting the others with him together and he focused on sensing the dying power level as hard as he can so in order to end up at that precise location. "Okay, here we go!"
The Z-Fighters all teleported from where they stood, straight towards the direction of where the time machine had landed and upon reaching that area, they searched around to see if they could find who they thought was Future Trunks. "Can you believe this Goten?" asked Trunks, still finding it hard to believe his future self had once again come back in time and now he gets to actually see him with a more mature mind.
"Not really but if we do find your future self, I am sure he would be pretty strong" answered the youngest Half-Saiyan, just as curious on what Future Trunks looked like as his best friend was though at the same time hoped to get a real glance at him. "Plus it would be awesome to see what you would look like as an adult."
"Yeah, maybe we could also learn about if we become stronger than our respective fathers and Gohan" added Trunks, after having seen how strong Super Saiyan 3 Goku, Super Saiyan 2 Vegeta and Mystic Gohan truly were, the two decided they should train hard if they want to even be as strong as them when not fused as Gotenks. "In fact, the only time we are ever in Super Saiyan 3 is when we reached that stage as Gotenks but we may need to be able to do so without fusing just in case."
"Maybe..." Goten spoke, while they are at their strongest when they are together and when they fuse into Gotenks, the problem was that the Fusion doesn't last too long and someone may try to prevent them from fusing during a battle but at the same time, he never knew how much stronger he himself had become after Dende and Shin managed to heal him and his older brother while they were on the brink of death. "Hey look at that!"
The Z-Fighters turned to see that Goten had managed to find the Time Machine and from the way it was designed, it was indeed made by Capsule Corp and resembled the one that Future Trunks had come into the present previously in his mission to save Goku from dying of the Heart Virus and the Z-Fighters from meeting their end at the hands of Android 17 and Android 18, while successful, Goku had ended up dying anyway towards the end of the Cell Games when he sacrificed himself to save Earth from Cell's self-destruction sequence.
"There's the time machine but where is Future Trunks?" asked Goku, mentally cursing as he saw some drops of blood on the ground right near the machine. "I could see some blood which would mean he needs help soon!"
"You think?!" said Vegeta, growling in anger as he refused to let his Future Timeline son die again after having witnessed his death at the hands of Super Perfect Cell's Death Beam when he returned to Earth, something that the Saiyan Prince can never forget no matter how hard he tried. "This is bullshit, just when we thought things were going our way!"
Bee soon began sniffing around and barked as he made is way down the trail as Gohan and Videl were the first ones to follow him before Mr. Buu and the others wondered where the puppy was heading to. "What is it Bee?" she asked, hoping that it wasn't anything too dangerous not that they wouldn't be able to handle it. "Did you find something?"
Remaining silent, Bee nodded then barked again though the Z-Fighters were initially hoping that it was Future Trunks so Mr. Buu can heal him and they can ask why he had chosen to come back to the present since it had to be important if he was to so again.
They looked over to see where the blood was leading to and where all shocked to see it was not Future Trunks but a young girl who was covered in her own blood and what shocked them more was it looked like she had tortured. "What the, who is that!" Android 17 yelled at the sight he was seeing with his own eyes.
"I don't know but she needs our help now!" Gohan replied to the Android as he and Videl quickly ran towards the girl, who had the same black hair they did and from the looks if it, she won't be able to last much longer without medical treatment.. she didn't know it at first but she could feel there was something holding onto her as her eyes slowly began to open with the images of Gohan and Videl were the first thing that became very clear to her.
"Mom... Dad..."
A/Ns: Well here it is, the chapter you have all been waiting for. Hopefully it wasn't too rushed as I had other things to think of at the time along with my personal life but I am glad to be able to do more for the story and the shocking twist at the end would be enough to make things truly shocking for what is to come.
