Just so you know, Dragonball Super is now airing and from what I have seen of it so far, it looks pretty good plus I truly enjoyed the Battle of Gods movie which makes me look forward to watching the sequel Resurrection of F when it comes out on DVD and Blu-Ray. Not only that, I am well aware that Dragonball Super is set right after Kid Buu's defeat and will even continue pass the Battle of Gods and Resurrection of F even too, which is for the best that it ignores DBGT even existed while the biggest surprise that I also discovered is that DBZ Kai finally picked up right where the conclusion its version of the Cell arc left off last year (so three years since the DBZ Kai anime's Cell arc concluded in 2011, we get its version of the Buu arc as of last year)… about time they continued the DBZ Kai series.

There was nothing but silence as Gohan and Videl hadn't seen Erasa since before learning about the evil Wizard Babidi and his desire to unleash his father's creation Majin Buu, needless to say despite Goku, Vegeta and Gohan assisting Shin in every way possible… they had ultimately failed in preventing Buu from being freed to rain death and destruction upon the Earth. Both teens felt guilty that Erasa was among the causalities at the hands of that monster and in the end; it wasn't all in vain as the surviving Z Fighters were able to save the rest of the universe and restored the Earth along with its population except for the evil ones. "Yeah, it's us alright…" began Videl, unsure of what else to say to her best friend especially since she felt that she could have brought her to the Lookout in case something were to go wrong.
Needless to say, the two also felt that the blonde-haired young teen needed to be aware of everything and they do mean everything, which included Baby's upcoming arrival, what he was capable of doing in battle or otherwise and how Gohan's and Videl's future daughter died of fatal injuries inflicted upon her when she came back in time to warn them of what will happen in 15 years. "We'll let the three of you to catch up okay?" commented Goku, having a feeling that Gohan, Videl and Erasa will need to speak with each other alone since they knew each other since Orange Star High.
"Thanks Dad" responded Gohan, appreciating the gesture as the eldest Half-Saiyan led Videl and Erasa to a place near the Capsule Corp so they can at least catch up and get their friend up to date on the situation at hand as well as the events that occurred following his revealing that he had been both the Great-Saiyaman and the famed "Gold Fighter" at the 25th World Tournament.
Shaking her head, Zangya had a feeling it will be a long talk between the three but she can't exactly blame them. "Looks like I missed out on a lot in the past six or seven years" she said to herself, especially as her attention was more towards Shamano than anyone else present at the scene due to his part in having initially sealed her, Bojack, Kogu, Bujin and Bido years ago back when she was originally a member of the Galaxy Soldiers. "What makes you so certain that you intend to even reach that girl's timeline anyway?"
"I'm not, but the time machine she used does contain the data on it and my ship is decoding that as we speak." said the male Trimonight, revealing that he did indeed retrieve the time machine prior to their return to the Earth and he is hoping there would be some kind of clue as to what kind of hell came to be in order to be ready to prevent it from occurring. "I might require some help from Bulma and her dad."
"Huh?" wondered Bulma in slight surprise that she and her father Dr. Briefs were asked to assist someone like Shamano with this decoding…. Then again, her alternate timeline counterpart from Pan's timeline did create that Time Machine much like the one from Future Trunks' timeline and Cell's timeline respectively made the ones used by the two Time Travelers in question which resulted in the timeline that they know. "Are you sure it's a good idea?"
"You're a very intelligent woman, plus the two of you are trust-worthy enough to allow you to aside me with something as important as this." added Shamano with a small shrug, then again he hadn't interacted to anyone much following his arrival in this universe and ever since the events caused by Majin Buu there is more to the Z Fighters, their friends and their families than he initially thought before. "I'm sure you wouldn't use any of my secrets for your own personal gain."
"Good point on that, then again at least the Red Ribbon Army was already destroyed by Goku years ago before you even came here" commented Bulma with a frown on her face, remembering General Blue and Captain Dark out of the Red Ribbon Army members they encountered as well as Hasky the female thief who they hired to get the Dragonballs from Goku and his friends. "Odds are they would have wanted to get their hands on your ship for its technology to use for their own personal conquest."
"The Red Ribbon Army?"
"We'll explain later, but Dr. Gero was a member himself and one who Goku never knew about until 10 years ago when we were warned by my son from the Future about the Androids that he created, right after Frieza and his father King Cold were dealt with." said the blunette with a frown on her face, more so as she was aware that had Future Trunks and Cell not gone back in time and if everything hadn't changed then Gohan would have never met the Old Kai, Videl or Erasa, they all would never have met Shin and Kibito nor would Majin Buu have been released by Babidi and Bojack along with his Galaxy Soldiers would never have been set free themselves. In fact, Goten, Marron and even Pan wouldn't even existed, Dende would have become Earth's new Guardian, the Black Star Dragonballs would never have been reactivated, and the fact Cooler and Broly would have never had come to Earth in the first place. "To be honest, I was actually glad that we were warned about it when we did."
"Well I just hope that I can get all the data that we need and maybe a faster ship if it comes to it from what Piccolo said the ship that was used was not as good as the one that Goku used to get to Namek, I mean for one its smaller." He said with a frown.
Bulma on the other hand gave a quick nod. "Well I think with my dad's help we can build a ship that should be fast and with and which could have them at least train when they were in space."
"Well I think that training even now will help us." Zangya said next to the ship as she crossed her arms over her chest. "Since it will take 15 years or more I want to be ready and not be a Tuffle slave to that freak." She added as she gave a smirk.
Piccolo nodded his head in agreement with the female Hera in question. "Come to think of it, I'm still somewhat surprised by the fact that Dr. Brief managed to create two more ships like the one Goku used to help on Namek… then again it was a good thing since it helped us with dealing with Paragus and Broly the firs time while we were preparing for the Cell Games" he commented, remembering the Capsule Corp Ship that was originally intended to take Chi-Chi, Master Roshi, Yajirobe, Puar and Oolong to Namek being taken by Vegeta in order to search for Goku in space and was later upgraded to include a Gravity Machine to help the Saiyan Prince train in order to become strong enough to combat the Androids that Future Trunks warned them about though the ship got destroyed because of the intense training and a third one was made afterwards, that being the one that Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Future Trunks and himself would use to head for the planet where they would meet Paragus and Broly face to face. "Hopefully we can be better prepared with a ship to help us travel the galaxy faster should the Black Star Dragonballs ever be used."
Bulma had to admit, Piccolo made a good point as did Zangya. "Yeah, I hope that you're right and I'm still surprised the Dragon Radar actually detected the Black Star Dragonballs" she spoke, remembering when Videl mentioned how the Radar picked up the location of the Black Star Dragonballs being together before Super Buu revealed himself to be alive after faked his death during his battle with Gohan.
"So, what happened after you two left the tournament so abruptly? I don't recall seeing you anymore around until this laser-like beam killed me…" Erasa said, looking at the two as she couldn't help but smile at her two friends. "Especially as I'm sure you might be aware that Videl's dad Mr. Satan won the tournament since then, especially as it ended up becoming a Battle Royale between the remaining four participates, Mr. Satan being one of them."
Gohan looked rather serious, while Videl hugged her best friend, who happily returned the hug. "Don't make me say 'I told you so'…" Gohan then warned Videl.
"I'm warning you, Gohan…" Videl then said, even though she knew by now that Gohan was dead serious.
"What? What's going on?" Erasa asked.
"It's a long and complicated story. I bet you must be still having it hard to believe that you were brought back to life as if nothing happened…" Gohan said, crossing his arms.
"Well, yeah, I actually am…" Erasa replied.
"Well, come on in then. We have a lot to talk about." Videl said, smiling.
But that smile soon stopped as she looked at her friend with a deep frown on her face and looked at Gohan who nodded; after all she had to know what was coming. "I guess you already know that I'm both the Great-Saiyaman and the "Gold Fighter" as Videl called my Super Saiyan form…."
Nodding her head silently, Erasa remembered discovering Gohan's identity and cheered him on by his name though she was actually shocked at the fact that he's also the Gold Fighter, not just the Great-Saiyaman then something clicked onto her mind. "Wait a minute, your Super Saiyan form?" she asked him, hoping that it wasn't some kind of sick trick that was being played on her.
"Yeah, especially as you might not believe this but I'm actually not all human…" answered Gohan with a frown on his face as there's no going back now that they decided to be open to the blonde-haired young woman much like they were now being more open towards each other. "I'm actually half-alien, my father is actually an alien known as a Saiyan sent here from Planet Vegeta when he was a baby with the task of destroying all life but he hit his head one day and his Saiyan Mission was forgotten permanently… to be honest, I am actually glad that it happened too."
Hearing this made the two girls widen in shock, especially as the part where Goku was originally intended to wipe out all life on their planet prior to having hit his head when he was just a baby was something Gohan had forgotten to bring up. "Is this true Gohan?" asked Videl, wanting confirmation from her boyfriend who gave a silent nod as his answer.
It wasn't for long before Erasa decided to speak up herself. "Your father, he was one of the challengers and the only one who had the halo above his head am I right?" she questioned, remembering that Goku had a halo above his head the last time she saw him and it was strange at the time until her own death at the hands of Super Buu's Human Extinction Attack.
"Yes but the halo's gone, all thanks to the Old Kai believe it or not since I'm sure you're already aware that you only have it above your head when you're dead" he replied with another nod, but this is not where his answer ends at all. "My dad was brought back to life when he received the life that was left in the Old Kai… plus the Old Kai was the entity who helped me and Videl become stronger."
"Oh and just so you know, Goten's tail and Trunks' tail grew back if you didn't already take notice towards the monkey tails they have and they must had been removed prior to us meeting them" said Videl, she still found it weird that Saiyans and Half-Saiyans are born with tails and was shocked that Goku, Vegeta and Gohan used to have tails years ago. "Apparently Saiyans are born with these tails and if they look at the full moon while still having their tails, they turn into giant Apes which will go on a rampage until either their tails are removed or the moon is gone, also from what I heard Saiyans can also use these Power Balls to turn into a Great-Ape as Gohan told me that Vegeta is the only one capable of creating one in order for him to go into that form."
Videl's best friend was at a loss of words, she had no idea that Gohan's father actually died prior to the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament then again it might have been something Gohan didn't want to talk about at school or at the tournament. "Wow, I actually had no idea…" she finally spoke, especially as she is still trying to process all of this new information that she's taking in which included the fact that Gohan, Goku, Vegeta, Goten and Trunks were originally born with tails.
"I couldn't believe it at first either, then again Shin, Kibito, Ma Jr. and Vegeta are also more than what you think of themselves as they're also not from this planet" added Videl, feeling that she needed to contribute to the truth being revealed to someone close to them and is certain Gohan will allow her to continue where he left off. "Apparently Shin is actually the Supreme Kai from a place called Other World and wanted our help in stopping Bibidi's son Babidi from unleashing Majin Buu, while Vegeta is from the same planet Goku's father came from and that both Goten and Trunks are half-Saiyan like my boyfriend, Ma Jr. on the other hand is an alien called a Namekian or Namek for short from a planet called Namek…. Ma Jr. 's real name is Piccolo."
"Not only that but both Piccolo and Vegeta used to be evil themselves years ago, Piccolo being the reincarnation of his father King Piccolo, who my father had killed in battle during his childhood and didn't meet Piccolo until the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament while Vegeta originally came to Earth to acquire the Dragonballs alongside his partner Nappa in a bid to wish for Eternal Life" Gohan continued for his girlfriend and reflected on the battles against Vegeta and Nappa years ago, which included having to deal with the Saibamen as well as the deaths of Yamcha, Chiaotzu, Tien and Piccolo in the conflict. "My dad managed to defeat Nappa with ease, only for Vegeta to later turn on and kill his former partner without any shred of remorse over it… which was before he confronted dad at a location where he could effectively use the Kaioken technique he learned from King Kai in Other World."
"Oh my god…" muttered Erasa, then again Videl had also been as shocked as her best friend, sure she learned from the Namekians from New Namek that Vegeta had done some evil actions in the past but had no idea that he was this bad especially from the mouth of the half-saiyan she grew to fall in love with, then Erasa turned her attention towards the raven-haired girl. "Wait a minute… Videl, did you also call Gohan your boyfriend?"
"Yes… it's a long story but he actually was the one who defeated Cell at the Cell Games seven years ago not my father, plus his father along with Piccolo, Vegeta, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien and even Android 16 and Future Trunks were at the arena" commented Videl, trying to hide a slight blush that formed on her cheeks and the realization that came to her ever since she confirmed that Gohan was indeed the Gold Fighter. "You might not believe this but Cell and the Trunks that were from the Cell Games are actually from the Future, one different than the timeline we live in while Gohan… he has a hidden power inside of him that is unleashed whenever he gets angry."
"Not only that but in the timeline where Future Trunks and Cell came from respectively, my father died of a Heart Virus on November Age 766 which wasn't the case in this timeline since Future Trunks gave him the antidote from his timeline in order to cure the virus" Gohan decided to speak up again, thinking back towards the events that occurred in both Cell's timeline and Future Trunks' timeline, including the major differences that occurred compared to their timeline. "Six month later, Android 17 and his twin sister Android 18 of those two timelines ended up killing Piccolo, Vegeta, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien and Chiaotzu on May 12th Age 767 while I survived the initial battle only to be killed 13 years later in Age 780 and with Piccolo dead in those timelines nobody could be brought back to life since the Earth's Dragonballs were permanently inert when Piccolo's death also killed Kami while dad couldn't be revived regardless as he died of Natural Causes, Cell on the other hand ended up killing his timeline's version of Future Trunks after the Android 17 and Android 18 of that timeline were deactivated and that bastard ended up stealing his Future Trunks' Time Machine in order to go back in time to Age 763, a year before Future Trunks came back in time to warn us of the Android threat."
"Also from what Gohan told me before, this timeline had Goku catch the Heart Virus against Android 19 and it was much later than when he was suppose to, plus Piccolo merged with Kami in order to become strong enough to confront Cell in his original Imperfect Form, who turned out to be an Android himself believe it or not created by Dr. Gero and that Android 17 and Android 18 were much more powerful and less aggressive than in the timelines where Cell and Future Trunks came from which was why prior to fusing with Kami, Piccolo along with Vegeta, Tien and Future Trunks were defeated in battle but not killed… the only one who they did kill was their own creator Gero, who at the time of his appearance alongside Android 19 was known as Android 20" said Videl with a small frown on her face, as she too was in shock when she had learned all this from the others. "Needless to say, Cell ended up absorbing Android 17 and Android 18 which allowed him to achieve his Perfect Form and he hosted the Cell Games as you already remember, though before that tournament started, Gohan's father decided to head for New Namek to bring one of the Namekians to be Earth's new guardian and that Namekian ended up being Dende… who Krillin, Gohan and Bulma had met before years ago and he has the ability to heal people much like both Kibto and the Good Majin Buu. Not only that but the Lookout used to be Kami's prior to merging back together Piccolo and Dende now lives there, having used the old Dragon Model that Kami made in order to restore the Dragonballs and give them the ability to grant three wishes, two if one of the wishes is used to bring back to life a large number of people."
"Oh yeah, in case you're wondering why Shin looks really different than before and why Kibito's not with him anymore is the fact that he and Kibito apparently merged into one being called Kibito Kai… it was due to the Potarra Earrings that Shin is wearing however the kind of fusion that the Potarra Earrings are capable of is a permanent fusion meaning that once they fuse two beings together they are stuck that way forever" she decided to explain Shin and Kibito's fusion into Kibito Kai, and what the Potarra Earrings he was wearing are capable of doing should each of the two fuses wear one on each ear which triggers the fusion automatically. "It is different from the Fusion Dance which Gohan's father learned from the Metamorans in Other World and had taught to Goten and Trunks so they can fuse into Gotenks, especially as the effects of the Fusion Dance only applies if both fuses are roughly same size and their powers are equal and they need to perform the dance perfectly otherwise they'd end up becoming a weak incorrect fusion plus unlike the Potarra Earrings, the Fusion Dance only lasts for 30 minutes before it wears off and the two fuses have to wait an hour before they can attempt to fuse via the dance again."
Erasa could only place a hand on her heads as she looked at Videl. "You know this is all a lot to take in you know." She began as she looked at her lifelong friend and the new friend that she had made. "I mean alien are real, Cell actually being an Android from an alternate future, Fusion, Shin being the Supreme Kai well technically Kibito Kai now, 18 being an Android and having a twin brother named 17 and even these Dragonballs well then again the whole week has been strange."
Videl nodded as well as she tried to be brave as she knew she had to tell her friend a lot more that was going on. "Erasa look there is more." She said to the blonde-haired young woman as she tightened her hand into a fist.
And that was something that Gohan saw as he held her hand as new tears escaped. "Videl what's the matter?" Erasa asked with concern in her voice as she moved closer to her friend.
"Erasa look something happened after we killed Kid Buu" Videl began as she soon told her the whole story with her daughter who came from the future… well a different future than the ones that Future Trunks and Cell came from respectively, with her and Gohan's future child being in her fatally wounded state when she warned the Z Fighters of her timeline and what had been done not only to her but all of the Earth as well
Erasa felt sick as she heard this sick that someone like this Baby would do that to a child. "Videl I'm sorry."
"It's alright, you couldn't have known." Videl said, sighing sadly as she looked down, causing Erasa to give her best friend a comforting hug.
During that time, Gohan had his hands clenched as the memories and by extension the trauma were still fresh, causing him to take a few deep breaths to calm himself down, something which didn't go unnoticed by Erasa… "Gohan, is something the matter?" she asked him, becoming really concerned for the Half-Saiyan warrior and it was something even Videl could tell he isn't alright.
"No, I feel like it was my fault that my only daughter died at the hands of that Tuffle Parasite… and what's worse was that Videl and I were willingly doing his bidding without question all because I didn't train anymore" he spoke before slamming his fist onto the ground hard, resulting in a tremor which was fortunately not that bad but never the less. "It's like when I toyed with Cell when I first became a Super Saiyan 2 during the Cell Games, I wanted to make him suffer for all the pain he caused despite dad telling me to kill him… during my time making Cell suffer, I caused him to regurgitate Android 18 and he regressed back to his Semi-Perfect Form… unfortunately he eventually decided to activate his own self-destruct sequence in an attempt to take the Earth and everyone else with him, which led to my dad sacrificing his own life to save our home planet by using the Instant Transmission technique he learned on Planet Yardrat to transport himself and Cell to King Kai's planet where the explosion destroyed it and killed not only my father but also King Kai, Bubbles, Gregory and Android 17."
As expected, Erasa and Videl were completely horrified by the fact that all this time, he was blaming himself for what happened to Goku seven years ago, which does explain why the pure-hearted Saiyan Warrior had a halo above his head when he was on Earth in order to participate the World Martial Arts Tournament . "Gohan…." began the blonde-haired girl, not knowing what else she could say nor did Videl as the raven-haired girl wanted to comfort the boy she fell in love with. "That must have been really hard on you, wasn't it?"
"You don't know that half of that, despite the fact Cell blew himself up… he somehow managed to survive and gained the ability to use the Instant Transmission to return to Earth, to make matters worse he was in his Perfect Form again only stronger than he was before when he did so and he killed Future Trunks with the Death Beam right in front of us!" Gohan could remember the events that took place in the Cell Games all too well, especially as Pan's death on Shin's planet wasn't the only thing that traumatized him as it reminded him of Goku's sacrifice at the Cell Games. "He also tried to kill Vegeta afterwards and I managed to save him, only for my arm to get fucked up in the process… we thought it was going to be the end of the universe now that Cell was stronger than ever but with some encouragement from my deceased father, I was able to go all out in one final Kamehameha clash with that monster… trust me, it wasn't a picnic and being handicapped to only using one arm and my power level being less than half of what it was prior didn't help matters either though in the end, with some help from the others and especially Vegeta who distracted Cell with his Big Bang Attack long enough for me to finish things once and for all, I was able to emerge victorious."
"Still, to tell you the truth it was all for the best as you did mention before your father is alive again and you have your whole family…" commented Videl as she remembered when she saw that Goku didn't have the halo anymore when she regained consciousness on the Sacred Supreme Kai Planet following Kid Buu destroying the Earth and then remembered something. "Oh yeah, sorry I even brought it up since well…"
Gohan shook his head; it wasn't her fault for bringing it up as they both remembered Pan dying in their arms from the massive loss of blood. "Don't worry about it… Still with all that has happened, there is a chance we can make sure that this timeline won't suffer the fate that Pan's did…" he said with a serious expression on his face, plus he had a feeling that Dr. Briefs might be able to help with that. "If I remember, my dad had trained under 100x Earth's Gravity when he was originally on his way to Namek while Vegeta trained under 300x to 400x Gravity ever since we trained for the Android threat."
"Okay… what's your point?" asked Videl, blinking a bit as no normal human being would even survive handling that kind of Gravity though neither Goku nor Vegeta were human at all so it makes perfect sense for them to have gone through the kind of training they did and lived.
"I'm saying that if they were able to handle training through this intense Gravity then maybe Goten and I should give it a shot ourselves when we all begin our training" answered Gohan, though he was thinking more of something crazier than what he just said as 450x Gravity might not be enough to help the two Half-Saiyan children of Goku and Chi-Chi get stronger since he missed out on a great deal of training in the seven years following the Cell Games. "I think 1000x Earth's Gravity should help us with the preparations, after all I have a promise I made back on Shin's planet and it's time I made an effort to keep it."
Dinner was a strained affair in Xeno's house. She sat at the table with her mother and her younger siblings, eating her own food, but her father was nowhere to be seen in any form or fashion. This only increased the tension within the home, as if expecting him to arrive at any moment. Her younger brother and sister were silent as they ate, not making any sudden noises. This whole affair was driving Xeno nuts, so she took a few deep breaths to calm herself down before resuming dinner. As she ate, she began to think back at the young man she met in the park earlier… Tempest was his name, right? When thinking about him, she felt that he could be a person she could actually trust, which was surprisingly odd for her to do, given what has happened earlier. It was likely that he never knew about her father, which was all the more certain because of where he came from. A slight blush crept on her face for a brief moment on that good memory… and did her heart just skip a beat? She resumed eating, but she did notice her mother frowning at her from the corner of her eye, evidently having noticed the blush on her face and the way Xeno had been absent-mindedly picking on her now empty plate with her fork…
Fortunately, she was actually glad that he wouldn't have to meet her bastard of a father due to the fact that unlike her and the rest of her family, Scout was still dead which she hoped that he will spend the rest of his life burning in hell for what he had done long ago.
Back at Capsule Corp everyone was talking about their next move and how they should proceed. "Well for now I think we just need to train learn new skills." Piccolo said with a frown on his face.
Bulma nodded at this know that this would help, but she looked at Shamano knowing what his mission would be. "I may need some of the Tuffle infected blood, at least with that I may be able to find away to stop it from infecting everyone we know and the whole Earth."
"I'll see what I can do my end, and as I said get the data on Planets that they had gone to knowing one of the three must have got a log on the Planets that had gone on." The old alien said to them.
Vegeta just gave a huff at this as he looked at the last Trimonight. "Yeah just try not to get killed, because if Baby knows what you're doing then it would all be pointless and they may come to this time." he explained with his arms crossed over his chest and still had a frown on his face.
Erasa on the other hand just looked at her two friends with shock as she knew that they too wanted her to help them which were why she was her. "Wait is this why I'm here to help?" She asked as she looked at Gohan and Videl.
"Yes. We may need you to be strong as well, as even you will fall victim to Baby's possession, like what happened to your counterpart." Gohan said.
"Possession?" Erasa asked.
"What Baby has done is basically putting some kind of egg within your brains, allowing him to control you and your actions, making you believe you're a Tuffle instead of a Human for example." Videl said.
Erasa blinked at this. "So he'd make me believe to be someone that I'm not?" She asked.
"If you put it that way, yes" Gohan said as it wasn't the only thing that needed to be said unfortunately, since he had a feeling it involved something he experienced before. "Much like how Garlic Jr's Black Water Mist placed the entire population of the Earth under his control except for me, Piccolo, Krillin, Korrin, Yajirobe, Kami, Mr. Popo, Icarus and Krillin's ex-fiancé' Maron 11 years ago with the only means of undoing the damage through the Sacred Water which needed to be collected within 24 hours, at the time my father and Vegeta were still in space so they were safe from it as well."
Erasa could feel her own head spinning at the influx of knowledge, causing Videl to become concerned, while Gohan merely frowned, almost as if he had been expecting it. Videl looked at Gohan with a slight glare, while Gohan held his frown, making it the first occasion where he retained his composure. "Don't say I didn't warn you." He mumbled.
"I heard that!" Videl said, although she did acknowledge that Gohan did have a point; it was after all a whole lot for Erasa to take in despite being in the company of those she fully trusted.
Tempest in the meantime was riding his bike, doing another errand as an odd-job to earn himself some quick cash in order to pay for the rent and also some food as he had been quite hungry for some time. As he finished his round and got his payment, he rode back towards the motel where he stayed, intending to stash his earnings away for the night. But as he drove past an alley, he suddenly picked up a yelp of a woman further inside. Believing someone to be in trouble, he drove his bike into the alley to investigate…
"Guess there's no rest for the wicked…"
At the same moment, Xeno was taking another walk outside her home in order to put her mind back together. She was in quite a turmoil and hoped that some fresh air would do her good. Her mind had wandered off as she walked along that she at first didn't notice that she was being pursued by several people, obviously having bad intentions. When she heard the chuckling behind her, she stopped, turning around. Standing there were a couple of goons, obviously gang members, whom were up to no good. She remembered them however, having encountered them only once before, causing her to narrow her eyes. "You shouldn't have kneed me in the balls the other day, you stupid wench. Now you are going to come with me and my buddies to a nice quiet place I know and have a real good time with us, or we'll stick you and leave you to bleed to death in this alley." The leader grinned sadistically, showing tobacco stained teeth.
"How about you useless pieces of trash piss off before I remove what makes you men? Not that you're real men anyway with the way you act." Xeno retorted, her hands in her sides, definitely not scared.
"Now, now… we were just looking forward to enjoying your company… and this time, we insist…" The leader said.
"Too bad that your pathetic idea of company carries no meaning to me. Now get lost before you'll be looking for your teeth on the street for the next few hours!" Xeno replied.
"Why do you always insist on doing this the hard way?!" The leader asked, nodding to one of his men, aiming to get a shot at Xeno first.
However Xeno was having none of it and delivered an uppercut to his jaw, stunning him long enough to deliver a kick within the family jewels, causing the man to howl in pain. "Last warning, bucko! Get lost or I'll make sure that your genes will never spread, saving the world of some more filth in the process!" Xeno snarled, evidently ready to defend herself.
"Now you're going to pay for that! Get her!" The leader said to the rest of his men.
Said goons immediately attacked, but it was apparent that Xeno had picked up a few self-defense lessons, putting up quite the fight. She delivered a spin-kick into one of the goons, before striking a second goon with an elbow in the face and clocking the third one straight into his jaw with a fierce hook. A fourth goon swung at Xeno using a nightstick he had with him, but Xeno ducked under the swing, set her hands on the ground and performed a backflip, striking the goon in the stomach with both feet, throwing him off. At the same moment however, she yelped as she felt something stabbing in her right arm, before seeing the leader grin at her, having used one of his throwing knives against her, right as the first goon recovered and kicked Xeno further down in the alley, causing her to land with her back against a trash bin, stunning her for a brief moment, right as another goon struck her in the face with a brass knuckle, sending her down to the ground. "Nice fight, but it didn't do you any good. Now you'll pay for what you've done to us..." the leader said, approaching Xeno with the clear intention to rip her clothes off.
But before the leader could rip off her shirt, although managing to get a rip into the belly area, both he and Xeno could hear a loud crashing sound coming nearby, coupled with grunts from his goons. As he turned to investigate, he was suddenly clocked in the face by another person who came in the alley, before he was pulled away from Xeno, allowing the girl to get up. The person then hauled the leader off to the nearest lantern pole and began to bash his head against it…
"DON'T! TREAT! WOMEN! LIKE! THAT!" the person snarled, bashing the leader's head against the pole with each word, before unceremoniously dropping him on the ground and spitting on him, before walking towards Xeno.
Xeno blinked at this, before the person approached her and knelt down beside her.
"Are you alright?" He asked her gently, his voice filled with concern.
"Well, barely… thanks for helping me though…" Xeno said, before taking a good look at him, staring right into the same emerald eyes she saw before.
"T – Tempest?!" She then asked, causing the young man to blink.
"Xeno?!" He asked similarly, before moving to help her up.
"What are you doing here?" Xeno then asked.
"I was on my way to the motel I'm staying after another odd-job completed when I heard a yelp inside the alley, so I went to investigate." Tempest replied.
Blinking again at the honesty, Xeno grabbed Tempest's hand and got up, right as Tempest spotted the knife embedded in her arm. "Looks like we need to get that arm of yours fixed," He said, "do you want me to take you to the nearest doctor's office?"
Before Xeno could reply, there was another set of grunts and a second crash, with Tempest spotting the goons getting up from the ground after removing the bicycle he had tossed right into them, while Xeno saw the leader getting up on his turn… "Those bastards never learn, do they?" He asked her.
"Darn right." Xeno said, nodding.
"You fools! We'll leave you both to die for this!" The goon leader snarled as he and his goons attacked.
However, Tempest and Xeno were having none of it and retaliated together with Tempest fighting the goon leader, while Xeno pushed a trash bin against the goons to stun them, before kicking the nearest one in the face, before she intercepted the man with the nightstick, managing to block the strike and striking him back with it, causing him to drop the weapon in the process. In turn, Xeno picked it up and clocked the man with the brass knuckles in the face with it, knocking him out. Tempest then saw the leader fumbling for a gun, so he cupped his hands together and threw them forward…
"HADOUKEN!" He said as he fired his attack, being a blast of bright blue ki-energy towards the man, striking him and sending him backwards, knocking him out and causing him to drop the gun. Tempest then instantly held a hand out towards the gun, before firing a quick white ray at it, causing the gun to immediately catch fire.
Just then, Xeno finally subdued the last goon and already had dialed the police to come and take care of them in an anonymous fashion, before moving to Tempest. "Thank you for helping me out, Tempest, I really appreciate it." She said with a smile at him.
"It's no problem. We should get out of here before the police thinks of us as the perpetrators instead of being the victims." He said.
"Where is your motel located anyway?" Xeno asked.
"It's just around the corner. We can get there with my bicycle, provided it wasn't damaged too badly…"
"What do you mean?"
"I kinda used my bicycle as a weapon to stun those goons to distract the leader." Tempest said.
Xeno laughed at this. "That's one way of getting their attention." She said, before hissing in pain at the knife still embedded in her arm.
"Come with me, I know a quick way to get to the motel unnoticed. Once in my room, I'll bandage up your arm before I'll take you to the doctor's to have it fixed properly." Tempest said.
"Thank you. By the way, that was some impressive skill you showed." Xeno said as Tempest picked up his bike.
"You were impressive as well. Have you been taking self-defense classes?" Tempest asked.
"Well, sort-of…" Xeno said as Tempest got on his bicycle with Xeno taking place on the carrier carefully, before he rode out of the alley, leaving the unconscious goons behind to be taken care of by the authorities…
In the meantime, Goku was rather surprised when he heard from Tien and Yamcha that they wished to learn the Fusion Dance since if Goten and Trunks were capable of learning it at a young age then there shouldn't be any reason why they can't do so. "Are you two sure about this?" asked Goku, hoping that he was hearing this right from both human Z Fighters in front of him. "I mean sure I taught it to Goten and Trunks but I thought they were the only ones who were powerful enough to defeat Majin Buu since I didn't have much time left before I had to return to Other World due to using my Super Saiyan 3 transformation."
"Look, we need to do our part in becoming stronger and ever since learning of what Baby is capable of 15 years from now, we all have to become stronger not just you!" answered Yamcha, feeling as he needed to train again ever since his death at the hands of Super Buu and now that they're aware that Baby is stronger than Buu then it would be for the best to make up for lost time. "Besides as Piccolo said it best when we learned of the Android threat from Future Trunks that we all needed to change our fates not just you."
"I'm afraid Yamcha is right Goku, we've known each other for a long time but times have changed for the better and otherwise" added Tien, agreeing with the former Desert Bandit and reflected on their battles against King Piccolo, the Saibamen, Nappa, the Androids, Cell, the Cell Jrs and the evil Buu himself and hated that they always were no match for their opponents…. Something that needs to change. "Plus you're alive again, so it should give you plenty of time to teach me and Yamcha the Fusion Dance since it can help us be better prepared alongside the training."
Scratching the back of his head, Goku had to admit that Tien and Yamcha both make a good point plus he wouldn't want to exclude them in getting stronger on the training. "Well since you put it that way… I think I'll be able to teach it to you perhaps with Vegeta assisting me as well" he gestured to the Saiyan Prince, who was completely shocked at the fact that the fact that Goku would even suggest the idea of assisting Tien and Yamcha learn the dance let alone him wanting to teach those humans the technique to boot.
"Hell no Kakarot, if you want those weaklings to learn the dance then be my guess but count me out of it!" responded Vegeta with a darkened scowl as he already made it clear that the Fusion dance wasn't suited to the Prince of all Saiyans, even more so in public. "Besides, you have others to help you with it!"
"Come on Vegeta, you need to know the technique too and it won't take as long as you would expect either" said Goku with a serious expression on his face, while Vegeta simply scoffed as he still couldn't believe that his own son Trunks knew it to begin with and the fact he was more willing to learn that alongside Goten. "It's just in case Super Saiyan 3 isn't enough to defeat Baby."
Hearing this made the Saiyan Prince scowl even more and the others were not in the mood to hear both him and Goku argue over this. "I said forget it Kakarot!" he snapped, especially having his arms crossed at his fellow Saiyan Warrior.
"Oh really?" came Bulma's voice, as she and Trunks approached him since they had more important matters to worry about than him not wanting to do the Fusion Dance with Goku or even help them teach it to Yamcha and Tien. "Would you prefer suffering the same fate as Pan's timeline and watch everyone become Tuffle slaves while the last of the Saiyans become nothing more than a memory? Is that what you want?"
"What?!" Vegeta despised having to be reminded of what happened to everyone in Pan's timeline or the fact that he himself became Baby's permanent host… let alone the fact that Bulma was getting rather angry with him right now. "You stay out of this, it doesn't concern you!"
"Yes it does, plus as I recall you had to wear the pink-shirt that I had you wear after you had your shower 10 years ago ever since you returned from Space after failing to look for Goku" added the blue-haired woman with a wicked smirk on her face, which caused Vegeta to feel even more humiliated that she brought up that event as he didn't feel like he needed to look like a variety of flowers and how everyone who never knew this before was now becoming aware of that. "Not only that, you need to do what has to be done to save not only Earth but the rest of the universe as well!"
"Come on dad…." Trunks spoke up, holding that he would help his mother get his father to see that there was no other alternatives available since Piccolo did suggest they also learn some techniques to better aid them and the Fusion Dance being one of them.
"Dammit… alright fine, but don't think that I'll enjoy it!" scowled Vegeta, turning his attention towards Goku next and continued while pointing his finger at the pure-hearted warrior. "You better not make me regret it either Kakarot!"
"Thanks Vegeta…"Goku grinned to himself, and then turned to glance at Tien and Yamcha since it was now or never but the good news is that he now has all the time in the world now that he was alive as opposed to when he taught Goten and Trunks during his time being dead. "Tien, Yamcha… pay careful attention, first you have to realign your energies with one another."
Both Tien and Yamcha nodded their heads since it wasn't hard to realign their respective power levels, hell they knew how to easily suppress their powers so they won't be easy to detect with the scouters or easily sensed by opposing beings. This is a complete waste of time… thought Vegeta with a darkened scowl on his face.
Yet Zangya found it interesting and at the same time amusing that Goku is teaching, Tien, Yamcha and even Vegeta the Fusion Dance that he, and later Piccolo who had to pick up where Goku left off after he had to return to Other World, originally taught to Goten and Trunks. "I should've brought a camera with me… oh well…" she said to herself, with Shamano and Piccolo being the only ones who could hear what she was saying as she was smirking at the fact that Vegeta might be using the Fusion Dance eventually.
"Well odds are that I'm not sure that the Fusion Dance from the Other World will be enough with who they will eventually be dealing with" commented the male Trimonight with a serious expression, sensing much like the Z Fighters did that Tien was stronger than Yamcha so he will need to lower his power level so that it would match the ex-Desert Bandit's own much like Trunks had to do whenever he had to do the dance with Goten. "At least in this timeline, the rest of the Z Fighters can become stronger in order to balance things out as opposed to the timeline where Pan came from."
Piccolo soon turned to see Goten and Trunks as they were still examining the tails they once again had, since he needed to make sure that they don't grab each other's tails or their own otherwise they would become weaker much like Raditz, Gohan and even Goku prior to the pure-hearted Saiyan Warrior having trained his tail during his childhood. "We need as much preparation time as possible, aside from the Fusion Dance and the Kaioken it would be fitting if Goku teaches some of us the Instant Transmission that he learned on Yardrat" he informed, his recommendation having much promise and the fact that it was beneficial in saving Piccolo and Tien from being killed by Semi-Perfect Cell as well as being useful in combinations such as the Warp-Kamehameha against Perfect Cell at the Cell Games was a great sign that it can help others.
"You might be right, plus I think you and Gohan are the best ones suited to learn this Instant Transmission" suggested Shamano, liking the idea even though it had its limits unlike Shin's Instantaneous Movement but was still useful in tight spots. "Especially as it we could probably save more lives if needed."
The Namekian Warrior silently nodded his head as it makes plenty of sense as did Gohan, especially as the elder Half-Saiyan remembered something important. "Say Trunks, where's your grandfather?" he asked the violet-haired young boy, curious on where Dr. Brief was at the moment due to needing to request a small favor so to speak.
"He should be working on the Time Machine on Shamano's ship" answered Trunks as he was rather surprised that Gohan wanted to speak with his grandfather about something, sure he remembered when Gohan had asked Bulma to created the device to allow him to become the Super Hero known as the Great-Saiyaman so he can properly fight crime in Satan City without arousing any suspicion or unwanted attention though when the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament was about to take place, he couldn't wear his helmet since it was against the rules so he decided to wear sunglasses and a white turban in order to hide his identity from the public for the competition. "Any reason why?"
Gohan frowned since as much as he wanted to tell him he couldn't do so at least not yet anyway as it would spoil the surprise. "You'll see, but I need to bring Goten with me as well" he replied, gesturing for his younger brother to come along because it concerns him and both Half-Saiyan children were rather confused at first though Goten complied silently by joining with his brother. "It shouldn't take that long by the way."
"By the way, where did Shin take off to?" asked Erasa, slightly surprised by the fact that Shin wasn't with them anymore and made her hope nothing bad happened to him ever since she joined with the others at the Capsule Corp.
"I wouldn't worry about him, he mentioned he needed to pick up something from his Home Planet in Other World and speak with King Kai on the matter" answered Shamano as he answered the blonde-haired girl's question since like himself, Shin doesn't stay in one place for too long without a good reason to do so. "He'll be back soon, even mentioning giving the Hyperbolic Time Chamber a go when the training for Baby's arrival takes place."
"Hyperbolic Time Chamber?"
"It's located only at Dende's Lookout and it is where one can do an entire year of training in one day believe it or not" replied Piccolo, having a feeling that Gohan's and Videl's friend from school has no idea on what the Hyperbolic Time Chamber is and what it is truly capable of when one goes inside to train as opposed to training on the outside. "The only drawback is that it can only be entered for two days at a time, plus if one attempts to stay longer then they will be trapped in the nothingness and refuse to allow anyone else to use the door… then again, one could also be imprisoned in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber forever if they were to destroy the door from the inside."
"Yeah, Piccolo blew up the door to the Time Chamber from the inside in an effort to trap Super Buu inside along with me, Goten and himself because we were going to use Super Saiyan 3 as Gotenks against that guy when it happened, unfortunately Super Buu got out anyway via another means if you know what I mean" commented Trunks, still sore that he and Goten would have been trapped in their forever had Super Buu not showed them and Piccolo the only means to escape the place after the door was destroyed by the Namekian Warrior. "Plus the Time Chamber has only enough provisions to accommodate two people for a full year but there's no limit to how many people can go inside at a time."
Giving Trunks a serious glare, Piccolo still wasn't pleased with him and Goten for making him think that they were giving up against Super Buu which contributed to the Namekian Warrior blowing up the door in an effort to save the Earth. "Moving on, Goku, Gohan and I entered the Hyperbolic Time Chamber for an entire day to train for the confrontation with Cell while Vegeta and Future Trunks entered it for two entire days" he continued from where he left off, which leaves Gohan, Goku and himself with another day left to use so they better use it wisely. "Goku first found out about the Time Chamber when he used to train at Kami's Lookout before the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament but he was only able to train inside it for one month rather than one year at the time."
At the meantime, Tempest had taken Xeno to a nearby doctor's office after making a quick stop at his motel room where Tempest disposed of the weapon which harmed Xeno once he had first disinfected and bandaged Xeno's injury. Fortunately there was no significant damage to the arm as no arteries were hit, but it was still quite painful nonetheless. The doctor had been of great help in further treating the wound, stitching it and wrapping it up in bandages before releasing her. Soon enough, the two were on their way again. "Want me to take you home?" he offered as he rode on.
"Uh… s – sure, if… if it's not too much for you…" Xeno replied, stammering a little feeling and was a bit flustered at the kind gesture.
"It's no big deal for me, really." Tempest said, causing Xeno to slightly blush.
"Th… thank you, that's really kind of you." Xeno said with a smile, causing Tempest to blush a little as he went on his way, with Xeno giving the directions.
As this happened, it was apparent that already a new friendship was being formed. "Can I ask you something?" Xeno asked.
"Of course." Tempest replied.
"How did you… well… shoot that blue light from your hands that knocked the leader out? I saw you firing it from the corner of my eyes as I took out the goons…" She asked.
"It's something I've been practicing during my martial arts classes. I've gathered a bit of my energy and manifested it in the shape of a glowing sphere, which I then can fire forward towards my target." He replied.
"I see, is it hard to do?"
"Not really, although I have only quite recently been able to utilize it without it fading out over a short range" explained Tempest with a small shrug, having trained himself since he was younger. "I'm still trying to practice with it and train myself to make it more effective over longer ranges."
"What made you follow those classes?"
"Primarily for self-defense. A tragic incident happened to me many years ago, which killed my parents. I would have died too, but perhaps fate intervened at that time… " he lowered his head, hoping he wouldn't have had to bring up the day that caused the death of his parents and how he had to take care of himself ever since. "I still don't know what happened exactly back then, other than hearing about the news of some kind of overgrown cicada monster rampaging in town…"
"I'm sorry to hear that." Xeno said, getting sad.
"It's alright, you couldn't have known…" Tempest said with a sad smile.
"W… What did you just say?!" exclaimed Bulma's father Dr. Brief with an expression of shock on his face at the kind of request that Gohan was asking of him and Goten was just as shocked as the older man upon hearing it with his own ears. "You have no idea what could happen if you were to attempt to train under 1000x Gravity… I mean sure Goku trained up to 100x Gravity and both Vegeta and Trunks trained under up to 450x Gravity but…."
"I understand that Dr. Brief but there's no other alternatives available, yes no human being can survive up to that kind of intense gravity but Goten and I aren't exactly completely human" reminded Gohan with a serious glance on his face due to not having any time to argue with the good scientist right now as they have more important matters. "Right now it is the only way the two of us can expect to get stronger within the next 15 years and if possible, Shamano could help make sure it's…"
He didn't finish what he was going to say as he felt something. "Huh?" he asked himself somewhat confused by the power he felt since it made both Dr. Brief and Goten just as confused as he was since it wasn't everyday that one of the Z-Warriors felt a presence during a conversation.
"What's up Gohan?"
Gohan gave a small sigh as he could have sworn he could feel a faint Human ki signature spike which was coming from a specific area… an alley close to Satan City, but just as it came; it vanished instantly… it was something he couldn't put his finger on. Was it another fighter? If so, perhaps he or someone else could approach him or her to see if they'd be interested to join their group of fighters… "I thought I felt someone's presence maybe it's another fighter who could aid us against Baby."
"Oh? Are you sure about that?" asked Goten, hoping that it wasn't anything to worry about too much since if there was another fighter then they needed to make certain by going there and checking it out in person. "Maybe we can head out there right now?"
Gohan nodded his head as it couldn't hurt to at least try though there was another problem as sure they could fly at top speed but he had a feeling that they need to search the entire area just to find that power level he felt before. "Even if we do, we might not be able to pin-point it without some assistance and even then the only one who could help us is dad due to him knowing Instant Transmission" he explained to his little brother and from the way things were going, Goku was too busy teaching Vegeta, Yamcha and Tien the Fusion Dance. "Plus we can't wait for Shin to come back since there's no telling how long this favor of his will take."
"Yeah, but we need all the help we can get… I mean aside from Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu, Videl, Mr. Satan, Mr. Buu, Android 16, Android 17, Android 18 and Zangya it we may need some additional assistance in stopping that Tuffle Parasite" reminded Goten, especially as neither of them want their timeline to end up in the same fate as Pan's and it still made them cringe at what he was capable of in terms of abilities.
Remaining silent for a moment, Gohan took in what his little brother mentioned and sighed after a while. "Alright, in any case you and I should probably head out there to find them just stay close cause I don't know how they'll react to seeing you with a tail" he informed which made the younger half-saiyan beam up a bit then nodded to his sibling.
Dr. Briefs wasn't sure what to say especially at the insane request from Gohan as he witnessed the two half-saiyans preparing to leave the Capsule Corp Building. "We'll be back soon, try not to make dad and the others worry too much okay?" he informed the scientist before exiting which the man nodded his head as he will do what he can then sighed.
"Sometimes I can never understand you Saiyans…."
"Alright, now comes the time for you to get ready to attempt the most difficult part of fusion" began Goku, needing to make certain that Vegeta, Yamcha and Tien were paying close attention to this part as he didn't want them to make the similar mistakes that Goten and Trunks made when they first learned the dance at Dende's Lookout not too long ago. "Just remember, it takes a lot of patience and real discipline."
Vegeta silently rolled his eyes, feeling like a complete and utter moron for being made to agree to such a lesson. "Once you match your energies precisely, you need to strike a delicate series of poses together… however if either one of you is even the slightest bit off then the fusion will fail" he continued.
Needless to say, Trunks felt a bit embarrassed himself as he and Goten did mess up twice in a row when the time for them to initiate the Fusion Dance effectively came but were able to get it right on the third try as they always say that third time's the charm but since then, he and his best friend were able to perform it every single time they needed to combine together. "Now I'm about to teach you the exact moves that I've taught to Goten and Trunks when they were learning it" with that, Goku got ready to do the moves needed to perform the Fusion Dance effectively. "Now pay close attention!"
Nodding their head, both Tien and Yamcha agreed to pay attention to what Goku is going to show them and to Vegeta as well though it wasn't for long before everyone saw Goten and Gohan jetting off from Capsule Corp right in the direction of Satan City. "Where are those two going?" asked Vegeta, upon seeing the two raven-haired Half-Saiyans leaving towards Satan City.
"Just when we thought things couldn't get any stranger around here" commented Zangya, while she gave a small shrug as even she had no clue on what where Goku's and Chi-Chi's two sons were in such a hurry to head off in that direction unless there was some reasoning for it. "Alright, I better go after them then…"
"Hang on a minute, they'll be fine…" came Shamano's voice as he was approaching the female Hera before she attempted to jet off after the Half-Saiyans then a grin formed on his face since aside from Gohan, he too somehow sensed the same faint human ki in the direction that they were headed off in earlier. "Odds are they found something that made them want to investigate."
"Oh? What is that exactly?"
"I'm not sure but we'll find out when they come back" responded Shamano with his arms crossed, hopefully it would be good news since other than Baby's impending threat there shouldn't be anything to be too worked up about that they needed to take on. "Who knows? Perhaps they could find something to benefit us in a way."
Tempest stopped his bike as soon as he had arrived at Xeno's house, smiling as the girl got off of the bike. "Thank you for doing this for me, Tempest, and thank you for helping me fight off those goons." she said, a smile on her face.
"It's no problem, Xeno. I'm glad I was able to help you out." He said with a smile.
"How long will you actually stay here?" Xeno then asked out of curiosity, hoping that it wouldn't be too much trouble to find out for certain.
"I honestly have no idea, but I'll definitely be around for some time, why?" Tempest asked.
"Well... would you like to hang out with me some day?" She then asked with a blush.
"As in you and me spending the day together as friends, check the mall or anything?" Tempest asked, after which Xeno nodded, "sure thing. Want me to pick you up?"
"I... I'd like that, yes." Xeno said, smiling.
Tempest smiled back, before tilting his head a little as he looked Xeno directly in her eyes.
"What's the matter? Is there something on my face?" the girl asked.
"No, I just got lost within your eyes for a moment." Tempest replied.
"My eyes?" Xeno asked, blinking.
"Yes, they remind me of rubies because they look so pretty." Tempest said.
Xeno blushed hard at that, stammering even as she was unable to respond for a moment, not expecting such a compliment. "Ah... th... thank you." She said, smiling brightly.
"No problem." Tempest said with a smile, before he made his turn to leave.
"How about tomorrow?" Xeno then asked.
"Sounds fine with me. I'll see you tomorrow." Tempest said, before he moved off.
Xeno smiled as she waved him off, just before her mother came out of the house. "Where have you been-? Good grief, what happened to you arm?!" Xeno's mother asked her daughter, glad to see that she got home safely but was worried the moment she saw that the younger woman's arm had been injured.
"I was stabbed there by a goon whom attacked me. Don't worry; the wound has been already taken care of." Xeno replied.
"Oh? Who took you to the hospital then?"
"My new friend." Xeno said with a smile, before moving to walk back into the house. "His name's Tempest and he's actually pretty cute too, I'll tell you more about it later."
Xeno's mother blinked at that, suspecting that something was up with Xeno. She had seen her outside with the young man whom brought her home... but with the way they were acting, it was apparent that it was something different... "Oh dear..." Xeno's mother thought to herself, with a light smile forming on her face the moment she learned of this. "Is she in love? My husband would better not hear from this... What am I talking about, that bastard is dead, so there's no way for him to even be aware of this."
Back at Capsule Corp, Goku stood in front of Tien and Yamcha as now that he showed them and to a lesser extend, Vegeta as well how to perform the right moves needed to do the fusion dance, he needed both humans to practice it until they can perfect the dance. "Now, understand that we'll all be going up against the Tuffle Parasite Baby in 15 years time, so it will be more than enough for us to get training done in order to be better prepared to face him" he informed his two newest students, so to speak while Vegeta scuffed as he felt that it was a waste of time. "So it is important that you two know how to fuse before then, understand?"
"Got it, besides from what Yamcha told me you taught Goten and Trunks the Fusion Dance for their battle with Majin Buu but it still wasn't enough to win." explained Tien, knowing about the details that he and Chiaotzu missed out on from hearing Yamcha mention it all to them not too long ago and hoped them learning it will help against Baby. "Not only this, yet when we trained for the Android threat that Future Trunks warned us about, somehow the Androids of this time were much stronger than the ones in the timeline he came from which makes me wonder if it will be the case for our timeline's version of Baby as well."
"I understand that, however that is more of a reason for us to be prepared Tien." explained Goku, unsure of if his Super Saiyan 3 form as an adult would be more than enough to defeat Baby as it was clear that from Pan's warning before her death that he couldn't maintain it at all due to his child body. "Now then, you two are going to need to perform the same exact moves I showed you in perfect sync alright?"
The two men remained silent, knowing that it may not be easy as if Goten and Trunks had a tough time learning the dance then the same problem would occur with the two adult veteran Z-Fighters. "Well, just in case… Vegeta, let's give them a demonstration" he turned his attention towards the Saiyan Prince much to his complete shock. "Besides, it wasn't like when he and I used the Potara Earrings to fuse into Vegito during the battles against Super Buu as that fusion is permanent or at least we thought it was until we found out that something inside Super Buu's body is able to dissolve the fusion, splitting the two of us back into our normal selves…. we still don't know what it was even to this day."
"You better help Goku show them, besides I already had my turn when he was teaching it to Goten and Trunks" commented Piccolo, which made Vegeta even more angry for being put into this position and felt as if he was becoming a new member of the Ginyu Force or something. "It's not as bad as you think, plus it's not permanent as opposed to using Potarra Earrings in fusion."
Gritting his teeth, Vegeta mentally cursed as he stood next to Goku and felt his former arch rival's power level decreasing in order to make it even with the Saiyan Prince's own power level. "You best not make me regret this!" he reminded Goku as the two got ready to do the fusion dance now that their power levels were completely equal.
"Now watch us very carefully okay? Remember, it will only last for 30 minute and once the 30 minutes are up, then the fusion will end and you have to at least wait an entire hour before attempting to do the dance again" began Goku as he and Vegeta prepared to demonstrate the Fusion Dance to Yamcha and Tien so they will see what it's capable of first-hand then nodded to his fellow Saiyan as it was now or never. "Vegeta, follow my moves and do what I do, but in reverse like a mirrored opposite and make sure you do it perfectly though…"
"Don't you think I know that you moron?! Let's just get this over with!"
Zangya smirked to herself, it's not everyday that two full-blooded Saiyans attempt to do the Fusion Dance and it is going to be the first time she sees it used at all. This should be good… she thought to herself, seeing the expression that the Prince of all Saiyans had which to her felt priceless but wished that she had a camera with her.
"Fu…. sion…" both Goku and Vegeta performed the dance while saying the words, the Saiyan Prince was mentally cursing himself again as tried as carefully as he could to replicate the moves being done by Goku without even one minor mistake at the same time saying the exact same words that his fellow Saiyan was saying all while everyone present watched them performing the technique before finishing with their index fingers touching one another. "HA!"
The moment this happened, a flash of blinding white light surrounded the two Saiyans as everyone closed their eyes in an effort to prevent from being blinded by it as both warriors began merging together into an even more powerful entity but only if Vegeta did the moves correctly, otherwise they'd only be becoming a far weaker warrior than they are separately. "Let's hope it worked…" Shamano muttered to himself as what seemed like an eternity, when in actuality it lasted close to a minute or so as the bright white light slowly faded away then the Z-Fighters along with Zangya, Android 16, Android 17 and Shamano all felt a huge power level from where Goku and Vegeta once stood as the smoke began to clear as to reveal that in their place stood a new being who wore the same clothes that all creations of the Fusion Dance wore. However, this new warrior's vest had a different color scheme than Gotenks'; the padding around the neck and shoulders of the vest were a reddish orange rather than yellow, and the vest is black rather than the dark blue vest that Gotenks wore. His hair was very similar to Vegito's with the only difference being that he only has one free hanging lock of hair instead of two and had Vegeta's window peak. He also seems to have also acquired Goku's peach like skin rather than adopting Vegeta's more mild tan and he even possessed Goku's body structure as he was tall and slender, but he seemed to mostly possess Vegeta's facial features. "What do you know, it worked after all."
"I am not Goku or Vegeta…" began the newly fused Saiyan Warrior, his dual voice containing both Goku's and Vegeta's voices the moment he spoke to everyone who glanced at him in shock and how much stronger he was compared to Gotenks when he was first born via the Fusion Dance performed by Goten and Trunks back at Dende's Lookout long ago. "I am Gogeta!"
"Well, would you look at that… I didn't think they would be this powerful with just this Fusion Dance from Other World" commented Zangya, which in a way made her glad that she is now part of the good guys despite retaining her bad girl nature. "I'm surprised they never tried it against that evil Majin Buu after rescuing the others from inside his body."
Nodding to the female Hera, Piccolo made a good point but remembered their reasoning for not fusing together again when the final battle with Kid Buu took place on Shin's planet. "You gotta remember, they had their reasons for not doing so and the same could be said for Goten and Trunks as Kid Buu wasn't fused with anyone anymore at the time" he informed her, reflecting on the battle with Kid Buu and how powerful that monster was even when they gave it their best shot against him. "I'm guessing that might have been the same case in Pan's timeline only with a different outcome than ours."
"Come to think of it, how come he's in his Super Saiyan form?" asked Android 17 noticed that the golden hair, the teal green eyes and the golden aura surrounding his body were the features usually seen on a Super Saiyan, a Super Saiyan 2 and even the newly discovered Super Saiyan 3. "Last I checked, they were never in their Super Saiyan forms when they performed the Fusion Dance."
"Beats me, then again Goten and I weren't in our Super Saiyan forms when we fused together into Gotenks at the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and then near the remains of Dende's lookout but we could go into that state even when we fuse in our base forms" said Trunks with a small shrug, then again he made a mental note to himself that when Goten gets back to see how their fused form as Gotenks will look with a tail now that theirs had grown back then smirked the moment he sensed Gohan and Goten coming back. "Speak of the devil…"
"Glad you two could make it back" Krillin felt a bit relieved that Gohan and Goten managed to arrive back to the Capsule Corp without too much trouble though from the looks of it, they seemed somewhat disappointed that they didn't find what they sensed. "I take it the search didn't go well?"
"No… well we actually somehow sensed a huge power level from where Capsule Corp was so we decided to head back and find out what it was" explained Goten, then he noticed Gogeta and that everyone was accounted for… except Goku and Vegeta which could mean only one thing. "Is… Is that dad?"
"Yes, apparently he and Vegeta performed the Fusion Dance as a demonstration so that Yamcha and Tien would be able to properly do so themselves when they're ready" explained Piccolo, giving both Goten and his older brother his confident smirk. "The warrior that they fused into is known as Gogeta in case you wanted to know."
"That explains the huge power level we sensed earlier…" responded Gohan, sensing how powerful Gogeta was and compared to himself as well as Gotenks, this warrior was far stronger than anything they had ever fought against but will it be enough against Baby, when he arrives on Earth to try and turn the entire planet into Neo-Tuffles.
Videl sadly nodded at this as she looked at Gohan and Eraser. "I for one want to stop that monster." She said and tightened her fists.
Gohan nodded as he held onto her hand. "We'll stop it Videl." he said as he pulled her into a hug comforting her.
The other member also nodded at this as they too wanted to stop this death from coming true and they would train as hard as they could to stop it as well. "And we shall help you I mean we're all friends after all and I have no intension of be controlled like that." Krillin said as he smiled lightly and looked over to his daughter who was wondering just what was going on.
"Thanks, we could use all the help we can get after all…" he replied back to Krillin, though it wasn't for long before Shin arrived via his Instantaneous Movement and the Kibito Kai was glad that he made it back when he did especially as he brought with him something that could help. "Shin, you're back!"
"Yes, I'm sorry I took so long… I've been waiting for the surprise to be ready and I lost track of time for that I apologize" began Shin with a frown on his face, briefly bowing down to the others as it was clear that he needed to make up for taking a long time to get back. "Gohan, I have something that could be of some aid for the coming battle."
Revealing it to the Z-Fighters and their family, they wondered what it was though Gogeta and Gohan immediately recognized it to be a familiar hand-and-a-half sword. Judging by its thin cross-section and wide blade, it appeared to be optimized for cutting as opposed to thrusting. "It can't be…" muttered Gohan, being given from Shin none other than the Legendary Z-Sword, the weapon that Old Kai was once imprisoned in prior to Gohan accidently breaking it in two. "This is… the Z-Sword!"
"But, how is that possible?" asked Gogeta, even he found it hard to believe that this was the same sword that he saw break in Gohan's attempt to slice through the giant cube made of Katchin which was the densest material in the entire universe. "Last I check, it was in two pieces so how can it be whole again?"
"You could thank King Kai for that, especially as he was the one who used his powers to restore it" answered Shin with a slight nod of his head, knowing that it was needed by Gohan once again and then a small smile formed on his face as there's something else that he wanted to tell them. "If necessary, I can assist in the preparations for Baby's arrival, I may not be able to do much but after hearing what will happen to the Universe in the next 15 years… there's no point in me sitting by anymore."
With another nod, Gohan was actually glad that Shin decided to become part of the group and train for the upcoming arrival. "We really appreciate the help Shin and thank you." he spoke, more so as he was certain that there would be a chance to save their timeline now that they are getting additional help from other fighters whether it be in this world or from the Other World.
30 minutes later, Gogeta had separated back into Goku and Vegeta as it was clear that now that Yamcha and Tien have seen what the Fusion Dance is capable of when done correctly, it is important that the two humans practice it until they are certain they can do it perfectly. "Now that you seen what the Fusion Dance can do, are you two ready to give it a try?" he asked his friends who silently nodded their heads to him. "Good, make sure you practice hard and make sure any mistakes you do are lessened the more you practice."
It was then that he saw the expression on Chi-Chi's face and frowned as he never actually had a proper chance to spend time with his wife during his one day on Earth when he was dead but now that he's alive, he felt that he needed to make up for lost time. "Piccolo, could you do me a favor and fill in for me… I think there's something I have to do" he informed the Namekian Warrior who had gone from being his enemy to his friend. "It shouldn't take long."
Remaining silent, Piccolo had a feeling he knew what Goku meant as it was seven years since he last saw his family and it was clear that he needed to make it up to them somehow. "Okay…" he replied back, knowing that teaching Tien and Yamcha the Fusion Dance should be easier than when he took over in teaching it to Goten and Trunks due to the adult warriors being more willing to concentrate hard in learning the new technique.
Goku gave his old friend his usual smile then headed off to check up on Chi-Chi, the woman who he had loved and regretted having hurt when he sacrificed himself to save the Earth from Cell's self-destruct sequence at the end of the Cell Games. "Chi-Chi…" began the full-blooded and pure-hearted Saiyan Warrior, hoping that his wife is alright and she turned to glance at her husband as she just got him back but now there's this new threat to Earth coming in the next 15 years with her future granddaughter dying to warn them about it in this timeline. "I think it's time we talked."
Chi-Chi nodded at what Goku said as the thought of the granddaughter dying just brought pain to her heart. "Yeah it is." she said as she looked over to Videl and saw the young girl's pain at knowing how her own daughter to be was killed.
Goku just looked at his wife and saw the pain in her eyes, and while he wanted to fight this Baby he knew that this was not some game. Pan had said how deadly Baby was and how he had won with many others killed or now Tuffles and she knew that in that time she was one as well, something Goku hated. "Look I know you don't want them to train Chi-Chi but…"
Chi-Chi however just placed a finger on Goku lips. "No Goku I Understand this is so much bigger, our granddaughter was made to suffer for what she was all because some long dead race what to rule the entire Galaxy." She began as she looked at the others and Videl. "And I have no idea what poor Videl is going through right now, I mean what option do we have? Be slaves or save the whole universe and stop Pan's fate from coming true and I don't want that future poor Pan came from to be true I just want to stop it." she said as she was now starting to cry at the story she had been told of Pan's last moments alive and it hurt her more than anything at the poor girls fate.
Goku seeing his wife in pain just hugged her and he made a vow that this parasite was going to pay he wanted to give everyone a chance but this Tuffle has already made a chose and he was going to stop it with help from his entire friends. Goku just looked at his crying wife as he pulled her into a loving kiss.
A/N: Well here it is, the next chapter of my DBZ fic finished and hopefully the next chapter will indeed be the start of the training for Baby's arrival since I figured that six months later, leading to the events of Celebrations with Majin Buu would be the most appropriate place for it to happen since Porunga already erased the memories of Majin Buu from everyone on Earth except for the Z-Fighters and their closest friends and family. Also I'd like to thank thedarkpokemaster and Martian Tempest for helping me in completing the chapter.
Oh and just so you know, Martian's OCs Tempest and Xeno will have a large role in the story later when the right moment arises plus Erasa will be a great support for the Z-Fighters as well.
