Disclaimer: I don't own anything from Dragonball, Dragonball Z, Dragonball Super or Dragonball GT; they are the property of Toei Animation while Dragonball, Z and Super belong to Akira Toriyama the creator of the manga for both DB and DBZ itself. Tempest and Xeno along with their respective family members are owned by fellow DBZ fan Martian Tempest while thedarkpokemaster owns Shamano.

I would like to thank another DBZ fan, Lily Nadesico in suggesting what this chapter should be as well as her contributions on how it will go plus I heard from her that the new movie Resurrection of F was awesome which makes me want to see it for myself now that it's been released on DVD and Blu-Ray, plus I'd like to see how Super will further take Z into a new direction past both movies. Also I have to agree that GT should have been referred to as Goku Time rather than Grand Tour since the rest of the Z-Fighters were phased out completely in favor of Goku fighting every major battle, sure Vegeta achieved Super Saiyan 4 but that was way towards the very end of GT and it's actually a good thing both Battle of Gods and Resurrection of F along with Super are removing GT from the timeline permanently.

Something Worth Fighting For

The Legendary Warrior Tapion

By EmperorDraco7

Six months have passed since the defeat of the evil creature known as Kid Buu at the hands of the Z-Fighters but there was no time to celebrate as they needed to be prepared to confront a new threat that would appear on Earth in 15 years time, much like how they had to get ready for the Androids that Future Trunks warned them about 10 years ago when he first came back in time to ensure a better future than the one he originated from. However, for two Half-Saiyan children of Goku and Chi-Chi, they had a lot of work to do if they want to be as strong as their father… especially as Dr. Brief managed to finally give in and allow the two the chance to train under 1000x Gravity even though he said it is pushing it way too far yet Vegeta was actually quite intrigued by the matter and is looking forward to hearing if Gohan and Goten will be able to handle it.

"You know, I'm not so sure that the two of them going through this intense and harsh training is a good idea Videl." commented Erasa, watching her best friend going through some training of her own and while the rest of the population no longer remembers the events caused by Majin Buu, let alone Buu himself except for the Z-Fighters and their respective family and closest friends due to the third wish from Porunga, it wouldn't save them when Baby eventually makes his appearance on the planet as the Z-Fighters themselves are training themselves as hard as they can. "While they are half-Saiyans, nobody can ever survive lasting even one minute within 1000x Gravity."

"I am aware of that, though Gohan is so hard-headed even when I tried to talk him and Goten out of this as seeing our future-daughter die in our arms on the Supreme Kai's planet was one thing but I'll be damned if I lose Gohan again!" said Videl, somewhat annoyed that Gohan as well as his younger brother were actually going through with it especially wanting to train under that kind of intense gravity in their respective Super Saiyan 2 forms but there is a silver-lining as now that six month had passed, the good Buu is allowed to live among the normal public without fear which can help as Mr. Satan's new friend could train as well. "They even got Dende to bring them some Senzu Beans from Korin's Tower before they got started, saying it could help them tap into their Zenkai should they severely injure themselves because of their training."

With a small sigh, the blonde-haired young woman was still trying to process everything she had learned… especially as she never knew prior to her reunion that Videl felt this way about Gohan and the fact it might cause a bit of problems when they needed to get to school as nobody else was aware of what's going on or what will eventually happen but she is going to keep her word in ensuring the Z-Fighters' secrets remained intact. "Now that I think of it, isn't Goten a bit too young to be attempting this sort of thing?" she asked, somewhat concerned for Goten due to him being only 7 years old.

"Well Gohan mentioned having trained since he was a little boy so who knows?" answered Videl, though part of her wished that she wouldn't have to lose either him or this timeline's Pan as she wanted to prove herself capable of holding her own against a powerful foe and especially to make up for nearly dying against that bastard Spovovich in the 25th World Tournament, since the announcer should have disqualified Spovovich right there but didn't do shit to stop the match. "Plus I made a promise to myself following Kid Buu's defeat to be honest, even before Pan came back to warn us about Baby."

"Oh?" asked Erasa, somewhat surprised by the fact Videl actually made a promise to herself but who could blame her as the events that occurred changed all their lives forever, not just the raven-haired girl in question ever since the tournament took place. "What kind of promise exactly?"

Looking away from her best friend at first, Videl thought about her words carefully then she gave Erasa a small glance as she spoke. "Well, I actually wanted to actually have a real date with Gohan once we were back on Earth and now that I knew for certain that he's the one who defeated Cell this whole time, this made me see things differently than before." her face then softened as the next thing on her mind was something she rarely ever talked about. "If only my mom could have seen me become what I am right now."

Remaining silent, Erasa couldn't help but feel concerned for Videl as it's clear that losing her mother at a young age can have a negative effect on anyone, even Gohan knew what it was like due to having witnessed Goku's sacrifice in saving Earth when Cell attempted to self-destruct 7 years ago during the closing battles of the Cell Games. "I'm sure she would have been proud to see how much you've matured over the years and how you're trying your best to become a very skilled fighter" she tried her best to reassure the other teenager, even giving her usual smile as a way to add to this.

"Yeah… thanks Erasa." responded Videl, giving her friend a light smile of her own as while she is the daughter of World Champion Mr. Satan, she is still human on the inside and can feel the same kind of pain that everyone does, whether it be physical or emotional then turned her attention towards the direction of where she's certain that both Gohan and Goten were training at. "Alright, I think I should at least see how Gohan and Goten are doing… provided they didn't get themselves killed during their training with each other."

"I'll say, besides Gohan did promise to finish High School despite wanting to keep his promise to Pan and continue training no matter what." said Erasa as she reflected on the fact that Gohan wanted to graduate from Orange Star High School in Satan City if only to make his mother happy even though he is going to become a full warrior from this point forward.

"Well I'll be doing the same I mean Pan would still want us to live our lives as well." Videl said with a smile on her face as she and went back to see how the one that she loved and his brother was doing.

Gohan however looked at his younger brother with a smile as he had come a long way in the last six months. 'Goten sure had gotten a lot stronger.' He thought with a smile, as Gohan was impressed that in the six months Goten was able to take 1000x Gravity.

Both Half-Saiyans were in their respective Super Saiyan 2 forms with the only difference for Gohan's Super Saiyan 2 state is that instead of two bangs of hair he only possess one, as they wanted to make the most of their training by pushing themselves to the max in order to become stronger and keep their promise to Pan, which is needed especially as Goten's been showing vast improvement in using his Super Saiyan 2 state not just in training with Gohan under 1000x Gravity not only this but a Zenkai boost or two also helped them out as well. On the outside, both Erasa and Videl were baring witness to how their two friends were handling their training session and from what they can tell, they are starting to improve a lot in the six month since they've started. "Wow, would you look at that…" muttered Erasa, unsure of what else to say especially as while no normal human being can handle this kind of intense gravity, Gohan and Goten were starting to adapt to it after all, they were part Saiyan but never the less.

"Yeah, no kidding…" added Videl, knowing that to be honest… she'd have to be crazy if she'd ever attempt to do such a thing, plus Gohan did make a promise to her that they'd at least spar with one another at a field when not training with Goten and it's not like she had anything else planned anyway so she figured she should show that she had gotten quite a bit stronger during her training in the six months. "I don't know how they're able to do it, but then again Gohan mentioned he had been through worse such as against Broly for example."

Erasa remained silent, especially as she continued baring witness to what Gohan and Goten were truly capable of at their strongest which was something she wished that she had seen in the conflicts against the evil Majin Buu and prayed that it will be helpful when the Z Fighters actually fight against that Tuffle Parasite in the next 15 years. "So how are the others doing in their training?" she decided to ask her childhood friend.

"Well that's something we'll have to find out later when we meet up with them." responded Videl still in awe at the training between Gohan and Goten in their SS2 forms, knowing that Trunks wanted to actually give doing two years of rigorous training in two days inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber a try and Piccolo will be doing an entire year of rigorous training and meditation in one day inside of that place though part of her cringed as she wouldn't want anyone to get stuck inside there forever which almost happened with Piccolo, Goten and Trunks when the Namekian Warrior destroyed the door from the inside in an effort to keep Super Buu trapped with them.

Then again, the Good Buu was also planning to do two years of rigorous training in two days inside that Chamber as well and with him being allowed to be among the public without fear, as well as the fact Baby will make everything a living hell even to his friend Mr. Satan, he needed to try his best in becoming stronger for that upcoming confrontation. "Now that I think of it, ever since the training start… I actually wanted to test myself and the new abilities that Gohan's been teaching me during his spare time" she continued, much to the surprise of her blonde-haired friend.

"Wait, Gohan has been teaching you some new abilities?" Erasa asked Videl as she was a little shocked by this but still gave a smile.

Nodding her head, the raven-haired girl confirmed it to be true and more so as she hoped to be able to master them which might take another six months to do but it will be possible. "Yeah, if I am to do my part in helping the others then these abilities I'm learning from Gohan can benefit in our survival." she replied, especially as she wanted to show that while she is the daughter of Mr. Satan, she is hoping to actually redeem herself in the next World Martial Arts Tournament.

However, what the girls didn't know was that they were being watched from a distance by and the one watching this gave an evil grin as he overheard the conversation that had occurred between the two since it might prove beneficial to what himself planned yet for now needed to wait until the right moment to make his move…. as he needed some assistance if he was to open the music box that he had in his possession then took his leave almost immediately just in case he was to be spotted before he can properly make his next move.

During those six months, the friendship between Tempest and Xeno had grown exponentially, the time they spent together allowed them to get to know each other more. While Xeno helped Tempest with improving his social skills over time, Tempest brought a sense of comfort to Xeno which eventually allowed her to open up a bit more towards him, beginning to trust him. The fact that Tempest never forced her into anything and instead asked for her input was an indication that he did respect her and his politeness was unlike most of the jocks she had seen in school. Tempest on his turn made sure that the trust Xeno placed in him was not wasted, helping her out as he gave her a bit of pointers as he taught her some additional self-defense techniques, going so far as she joined him in his usual training sessions to work on her condition and improve on herself making Tempest proud.

One day, Tempest decided to take Xeno to a field where they could spar with one another but what they didn't know was that their lives will soon change… "Glad you could make it, Xeno." said Tempest with a smile as Xeno was able to arrive without too much trouble and it's good that the two of them were starting to bond with one another during their spare time as she was someone he's starting to open up to a lot ever since they've first met.

"Thanks, I'm still surprised that six months have passed since we first met and became friends" added Xeno, reflecting on the events that occurred leading up to this and is actually happy that things turned out the way they did.

Giving a slight nod of approval, the young man got into his fighting stance and is looking forward to seeing how much the training sessions with the red-haired girl has paid off. "Alright then, just don't hold anything back against me okay?" he said with a smirk on his face, a gesture that Xeno was all too happy to return as they got ready to commence their sparring session with one another.

They still didn't know just how they and everyone on else came back to life or how only they knew what had happened and the monster that had killed them. But both decided that for now they would at least leave that question until they knew more at least.

Xeno just smiled as she looked at Tempest. "Well then here I come try not to underestimate me just because I'm a girl okay."

"I have no intention to; I'm eager to see what you can do as a fighter." Tempest said, nodding as he got ready…

As their spar began, the two made sure they gave everything they had during their training, although they remained cautious as to not deliver any serious injuries. One might say they are going easy on each other, but it was all part of Tempest's own training, wanting to at least give Xeno a proper chance to adapt before advancing to what could be considered the more dangerous part, being strikes at the head and other potential vital parts. This sense of adaption would allow them both to gradually increase the pressure on each other, as if feeling each other out in accordance to their fighting styles and adapt their strategy accordingly.

A little later Gohan and Goten had finished their training for today and both half Saiyans were leaving to head out and relax since they had earned it. "Goten you did a good job with your training." Videl said as she looked at Gohan with a smile on her face.

Goten hearing this looked up at Videl and gave a smile. "Well I want to get strong like you and Gohan after all." He said as he continued to smile.

However he wasn't looking where he was going and he soon bumped into a girl that as both feel down to the ground and looked up at each other. "Oh I'm sorry." He said as he quickly got up to his feet to help the girl up.

"Oh… it's… it's alright. Thanks for helping me up." She said, smiling.

Looking up, the girl smiled as she looked at Goten. She had long brown hair and wore a sweet smile on her face, making Goten blink for a moment. "Uh, it's no problem." he said, as he grinned while scratching the back of his head.

The girl giggled at this, smiling at him. "You're cute. What's your name?" she then asked.

"Uh, I'm Goten…" He said, blinking at the sudden compliment he got, making the girl giggle at him.

"Nice to meet you. I'm Valese." She said, smiling.

"That's a nice name." Goten said, smiling.

"Thank you." Valese said, blushing slightly at hearing the compliment.

Gohan and Videl both looked at this exchange, their expression being a mixture of surprise as well as amusement. It was as if at that moment Goten's innocent nature resurfaced, giving them a bit of distraction of what had happened over the past months. It definitely brought a relief for Gohan on his own accord, as despite his normal appearance, he was still heavily distraught by the events of months ago…

"I must say that I'm deeply impressed with you, Xeno; you're picking up on things a lot quicker than I expected." Tempest said as he and Xeno took a bit of a break.

"Thanks, you're not bad either; you're adapting quite quick as well. I am curious as to what style you're practicing; it is quite different from what I've read about or even heard of." Xeno said.

"My fighting style is said to be an ancient form of martial arts, rumored to have faded out of existence considering the fact that not many people nowadays practice it." he replied, thinking back to when he first started learning this style not too long ago. "I have done a bit of research of it myself and found out that the style I'm practicing is a lighter based variation in comparison to the original style, which is more brutal in comparison."

"Wow, and you have adapted to the lighter style as a form of self-defense? How do you utilize something like that?" she asked out of slight surprise.

"I prefer to use as few attacks as possible, simply to make sure my target does not perceive me as an aggressive fighter yet having the capacity to show any offender their place, if you put it that way. And if some bad people are persistent, then the more pain for them." he answered, giving a simple shrug then began smiling brightly at the red-haired girl. "If someone however decides to become an actual threat, like the criminals we beat up months ago, then the proverbial kid gloves come off and I will use some of the techniques that I've learned over the time I've been practicing."

"That I noticed, you messed up that leader real good back then." Xeno said, nodding.

"Thanks. I honestly can't stand scum like that, although I find myself having to hold myself back to prevent going too far. After all there's a difference between self-defense and unnecessary violence with lasting consequences." Tempest replied.

"Point taken." Xeno said, seeing his reasoning as a way to prevent getting in trouble with the law for doing the right thing.

"Say, do you have any plans tonight?" Tempest then asked.

"Uh, not that I know of, why?" Xeno asked, tilting her head a bit.

"Well… I was wondering if you would like to go out with me for dinner tonight." Tempest then asked.

Xeno blinked at this. "Are you… asking me out… on a date?" She then asked out of curiosity, hoping that he's hearing this right.

"Uh… yeah…" Tempest said, grinning a little.

Xeno blinked again, before her face sported a smile, nodding at him. "I'd love to."

Hearing this, Tempest smiled back though something suddenly caught their attention and was clear that it's never a good sign whenever something interrupts a moment between the two especially as they heard someone's voice yelling not too far from where they were. "What was that?" he asked out of disbelief, especially as he mentally cursed at this sudden streak of bad luck which made Xeno rather worried as they knew that someone needed help right now.

"I don't know but whoever it is, they might need our help!" answered Xeno with a frown, praying that it wouldn't hinder their chances of having their date since they at least know where the voice is coming from so they needed to hurry if they can be of some assistance. "Let's hope we are not too late…"

There were people watching in complete shock as they saw a strange old man with dark red skin and weird-clothing, hung on at the top of a building which from the looks of it… he's been planning to commit suicide at any moment while those witnessing this horrific event prayed that someone would be around to help him before he attempts to jump. "Words! They're just words! As if you really cared!" he yelled out of fear, especially as he felt afraid while clinging to dear life. "None of you know what it's like to live in despair! One step and it'll all be over!"

"Yeah, all over us…."

"Do you really think he's gonna jump?"

As the people present at the scene were wondering what's going to happen if he really is up there, the two teens Tempest and Xeno managed to reach the area in time to see what's going on which caused both to frown, knowing they needed to do something. "Excuse me, may I ask what's going on?" began the raven-haired young man in hopes of finding out the situation that's taking place.

"We don't know, however from what we can tell there seems to be some guy up that building threatening to jump." began one of the citizens, making Tempest and Xeno shocked as why would anyone want to kill themselves for any reason as the citizen continued. "The question is will he actually jump from that building?"

Great… just when things were starting to go well… thought Tempest, realizing that if this strange guy was intending to jump to his own death then he and Xeno needed to act quickly if they're to prevent him from making the biggest mistake of his entire life. "Listen, I think Xeno and I might have an idea that can help stop this from happening…. It might sound a bit crazy though trust us."

"Oh?"

Tempest turned his attention towards Xeno, who nodded her head silently then they immediately made their way towards the building since it would be their first time saving someone in need together though at the same time, wondered how an old man like him even got to that high a height. "Okay, time to see if that training paid off." he said to himself then got ready to do his part of this rescue operation. "You ready Xeno?"

"As ready as I'll ever be." said Xeno, both prepared themselves to stop that suicide attempt despite having never met this guy before, hopefully their going up there and talking to him will help with making the man reconsider his current course of action.

At Dende's Lookout, both Dende and Mr. Popo were patiently awaiting Piccolo's return from the Hyperbolic Time Chamber as it's clear that the Namekian Warrior wanted to make use of being able to do a year's worth of training and meditation in one day inside of the place now that it's been restored and especially as if Baby of this timeline was to be more powerful than the one from Pan's timeline then it would be for the best not to take any chances. "Piccolo's been in there for a very long time." began Trunks as it's been a day since Piccolo entered the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and he is really hoping to get his chance to go in for some much needed training in there then again he's amazed that Goku, Gohan, Piccolo and Vegeta were able to last training in the Time Chamber, with the former three doing a single year of training in one day while Trunks' alternate future counterpart along with Vegeta managed to do the maximum two years of training in two days. "Sure it will help with getting stronger more quickly but I'm worried he might end up trapped in their again…"

"No need to worry about that, I'm certain he knows what he's doing by training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber again much like he did when he was preparing for the Cell Games." reassured Mr. Popo, the older Z-Fighters were already aware of the rules of how long one should be inside the Time Chamber and especially as he needed to make sure Trunks learns the importance of patience. "After all, if Baby is much stronger than Majin Buu then we can't take any chances unlike in the future that poor Pan came from."

"Oh yeah, don't remind me…" muttered Trunks, he didn't want to remember learning that in the timeline that Gohan's and Videl's future daughter comes from, he along with the entire Earth's population except for Goku, Piccolo, Mr. Buu, Mr. Satan, Pan and even this Uub guy were turned into mindless and loyal Neo-Tuffles under Baby's control even when that damned parasite is expelled from the host's body, he'll just leave an egg inside beforehand so that they remain his slaves. "Still, I have to admit that Gohan and Goten are insane for having decided to go through with training under 1000x Gravity, sure my dad has been through almost half that amount but never the less…"

"They were smart enough to have some Senzu Beans from Korin's Tower just in case they'd get seriously hurt during their training or worse plus their Zenkai boosts can help them become much stronger as well whenever they heal from near Fatal Injuries" said Dende, remembering the Zenkai boosts that Gohan and Vegeta experienced when he healed them from their near fatal injuries on Namek during the battles against Frieza himself though the fact Cell was able to tap into the Zenkai after self-destructing on King Kai's Planet and regenerating into his Super Perfect Form before returning to Earth via Instant Transmission during the closing stages of the Cell Games was something he didn't like, same with how Broly came to Earth during the Z-Fighters' training for the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament after his power increased through the Zenkai following his initial defeat at the hands of Goku on New Vegeta about 7 years ago. "It goes to show that the Zenkai still has its usefulness to Saiyans whether if be from training or during battle."

Trunks remained silent, he had to admit that Dende made a very valid point as the Zenkai was not exclusive to just Full-Blooded Saiyans but Half-Saiyans as well since Gohan, Goten and even Cell had demonstrated themselves. "He's done!" informed Mr. Popo, knowing that Piccolo's training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber has been completed as his second and final use of the room as the door opened to reveal the powerful Namekian Warrior with Trunks, Mr. Buu, Dende and Mr. Popo in awe at how much stronger he's become.

"Well, guess it's my turn… hopefully for real this time." commented Trunks, managing to shake his surprised expression out of his head for the time being as he made his way into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber as he intends to do two years of rigorous training in two days much like how his alternate future timeline self and Vegeta did. Get a grip on yourself, you're the son of Saiyan Prince Vegeta and there's no threat to the Earth that could interrupt the training this time unlike when we were preparing for the fight with that evil Buu…. at least the door wasn't destroyed again.

"Good luck." began Dende, wanting to at least wish the purple-haired Half-Saiyan luck as the door closed behind him following the young son of Vegeta and Bulma entering the Time Chamber, marking the first time he would train in there without Goten in hopes of becoming a more powerful warrior in time for the coming battles to come.

Nearby, Shin watched as this was taking place as he too was rather amazed by how much stronger Piccolo had become but what really surprised him was that his decision from two months ago also contributed to increase of power not just the training he did. Piccolo's power has gotten even higher, but will it be enough? he thought to himself, reflecting on the events that led to him becoming what he is right now and how the Kibito Kai in question contributed to this in some form or another.

Flashback

"What did you say?" exclaimed Shin as he was in shock at what Piccolo was suggesting especially as they were at his current training ground at a frozen location and he was in deep thought concerning the eventually battle against Baby so he won't meet the same end that his future self from Pan's timeline did though part of him suspected that his death didn't occur at the hands of the Tuffle-Parasite until after the Tuffle Planet was restored in Earth's Orbit by the Black Star Dragonballs if memory serves.

"I know it's coming as a shock to you but what choice do we have?" asked Piccolo, knowing that what he is planning to do now might be risky though in order to aid Gohan and Videl in keeping this timeline's Pan from dying at the hands of their future foe then they'll need to take that risk. "Besides, ever since the conflicts with Majin Buu… I had been wondering what I lacked, especially as fusing back together with Kami should've restored my original strength."

"I see, well in that case… I'll take you over to New Namek right away." answered Shin, knowing that this was one hell of a risk in what Piccolo's plan was then again so was the plan that Vegeta from Pan's timeline made to restore the Earth and its population so that Goku could use the Super Spirit Bomb to kill the evil Kid Buu once and for all, something which never happened in this timeline due to Videl being saved from death by Bulma during Super Buu's feeding frenzy at the Lookout. "I sure hope that this works."

"Yeah, me too since it would lead to me re-inviting evil into my heart." responded Piccolo, nodding to the Kibito Kai as it's clear that training alone might not be enough to stop this upcoming threat but at the same time, they needed to show that they can't always rely on their Saiyan allies in battles and that they can decide their own fate as well as their own destiny. "Fortunately, the Namekian Dragonballs don't need an entire year to be reactivated; we just need to wait 130 days to use them again."

"So technically, it's around four months maximum." began Shin, taking in what Piccolo was telling him and they needed to use all the time they can in order to increase their chances of surviving the impending hell that could come. "I'm starting to see where you're getting at... alright, let's get going!"

With that said, Shin prepared himself to bring Piccolo to New Namek via the Instantaneous Movement even though he wasn't liking this plan of Piccolo's and the Old Kai most likely wouldn't approve of using the Namekian Dragonballs again but it wasn't just about protecting the universe, rather it's about the survival of all existence out there.

Once the two were on Namek both were greeted by elder Moori who smiled at the two. "Hello again my friends, I have to say this is an odd visit." He said with a smile a Piccolo just gave a bow to the elder and fellow Namekian.

Piccolo nodded at this as he looked at Moori before telling him just what he was going to do. "I know that this is not a wise move but…"

Moori however just held his hand up to Piccolo. "I understand and while it's forbidding to use it we know that it's for a good reason that you're doing it." Moori said remembering the look that Videl had on her face at what happened to her daughter.

A little time had passed and the Namekians had gathered as Piccolo turned over to his people. "I think it may be best that you get to a safe distance my father was not known for his kindness." he said as the other Namekians all nodded and left the area.

Once they had left Piccolo looked down at the Dragonballs which glowed and with his arms folded Piccolo soon called forth Porunga. "You have summoned me now state your three wishes." The large Dragon said looking down at Piccolo.

"Bring back the soul of King Piccolo you see King Piccolo separated from Kami not Junior." Piccolo said as he uncrossed his arms and looked up to Porunga.

For a while Porunga just remained silent over what Piccolo had said and simple nodded at Piccolo. "What is your next wish?"

"Although I inherited all of King Piccolo's memories, I still need to become whole for the Tuffle Parasite that shall be coming in a few years my wish is for King Piccolo to be brought back to this place."

Soon both Piccolo and Shin were on guard as the two looked over to none other than King Piccolo himself who was shocked that he was alive once more, but he also noticed that this was not Earth and began to wonder just what was going on. "What's going on?"

"It's been a long time, King Piccolo"

"What is this?" asked King Piccolo upon hearing Piccolo's voice and he turned to see the Earth-born Namekian Warrior but it wasn't for long before he felt something familiar about the other Namekian in question which made him wonder what it was at first then eventually, realization came to him as his expression changed to show shock. "Hm?!... Wh…what is this feeling… Is it Kami!"

'He catches on quick' thought Piccolo, having a feeling that King Piccolo would realize what's going on but he needed to act quickly if he is to fully become whole again for the impending confrontation with Baby which was a long time from now yet they didn't want to take any chances. "Merge with me, King Piccolo!"

"Merge with you? Don't make me laugh! I am evil incarnate! I will not merge with Kami!" mocked King Piccolo, which in way made Piccolo remember when he originally refused to merge with Kami as he told Nail on Namek prior to merging with him to face Frieza and when he was defeated in battle against Android 17 and Android 18 on Earth, that's when he realized the only way they could win was for him to reunite with Kami, and that was before they learned about Cell. "If you wish to merge, you must beat me!"

Shaking his head, Piccolo knew this fight would be unavoidable and it's clear that he has no choice but to win in order to accomplish his mission. "That's what I thought you'd say. No… that's what I knew you'd say…" he responded with a confident grin, taking off his hat and cape in order to properly fight against King Piccolo.

End of Flashback

"I still can't believe that you actually went through with this" commented Shin, knowing how much pure evil King Piccolo was and even though Piccolo merging with him is the only way to become truly whole again as he had heard of the terrible things the evil Namekian had done even before being sealed away years ago…. yet because of the Pilaf Gang's stupidity, it caused King Piccolo to be set free and led to the deaths of Krillin, Chiaotzu and Master Roshi until Goku managed to become strong enough to end his reign of terror for good following his initial defeat and King Piccolo restoring his youth via the Dragonballs but not before one last egg was spat out, causing Piccolo to come to be and ensuring Kami's continued existence. "I can only hope that your decision was a good one not only for your sake but for that of the entire universe."

"Trust me fighting King Piccolo moments after bringing him back to life was no picnic" responded Piccolo with a serious expression on his face, knowing how King Piccolo was able to hold his own against him and how it proved to be a tough battle though managed to ultimately defeat his past life in the end so that he could become the single Namekian that he originally was. "It had to be done however, after what Baby did to Pan and what would happen to me, Goku, Mr. Satan, Mr. Buu and this Uub character due to us being the only ones not infected… I couldn't allow myself to meet that fate."

Nodding his head in agreement the Kibito Kai had to admit that Piccolo made a valid point and another thought came to mind. "I still worry about Shamano, having gone to that timeline by himself" he said, knowing that if Baby was able to take over the Earth and turn everyone other than who Piccolo mentioned into mindless and loyal Neo-Tuffle then he fears that Shamano might fall victim to it himself for going through with that one man mission. "He is the last of his kind and should he perish then it would be all for nothing."

"Shamano knows what he's doing when he decided to leave to that era in his spaceship" reminded Piccolo, then again he has a feeling that if Shamano exists in this timeline then he would also exist in Pan's timeline, Future Trunks' timeline and Cell's timeline as well. "Odds are he won't kill any of those Baby had infected but he will need to know what the extent of our opponent's power will be so we'll better be prepared for the worse."

"Plus as I recall, Kami had the Sacred Water hidden within the Lookout which he and Mr. Popo used to free everyone infected by Garlic Jr's Black Water Mist years ago" added Dende, deciding to speak up to Shin with Mr. Popo by his side as he needed to more than ever make good on his word on being a good guardian to the Earth. "It might also be useful in case the Earth still falls under Baby's infection in this timeline."

"As for the Black Star Dragonballs, we need to do our best to protect them more than ever" Mr. Popo informed them and remembering the negative effects of using them on any planet. "Plus using them again right away on the same planet that they were used on before doesn't stop the countdown."

The two remained silent, Piccolo remembered the Sacred Water benefiting in saving Earth from becoming Garlic Jr's mindless slaves and had a feeling that Baby would have had the Dende of Pan's timeline dispose of it permanently in order to prevent the Earth of that era from being saved but it's too soon to confirm or deny it until Shamano returns with some news to share.

Back on Earth, Tempest and Xeno managed to reach the top of the building, still finding the old man there on the edge of the building. Tempest narrowed his eyes. "What's the matter?" she asked.

"Nothing, I'm just trying to get a feel of the situation. Besides, the man isn't that tall and I haven't seen anyone with a red skin around anywhere…" Tempest said.

"You think he's someone from a different world?" Xeno asked.

"That is a good possibility, or he must be from somewhere away from the city. I suggest we approach him with caution, one mistake can cause him to jump to his death…" Tempest said.

"Good idea… wait, what's that up in the sky?" Xeno asked. Looking up from their hiding places, Tempest and Xeno could see two figures approaching… from the sky! "Are they… flying or something?" she asked again.

"That they are… I heard that there was a martial arts school where people could learn to use their energy to fly, which has surprisingly caught my interest…" Tempest said, as the two people, one male and one female, apparently wearing disguises of their own, approached the man as well. "Let's wait and see how this plays out; I don't want to attract unwanted attention or give them the wrong idea."

"Good idea." Xeno nodded.

"Look it's Great-Saiyaman!" informed one of the bystanders on the ground as everyone watched in aw as Satan City's famed crime fighter had managed to reach the scene along with his new partner, though they could only hope that they will be able to succeed in stopping this guy from making a horrible mistake.

"My mind is made up!" yelled the strange red skinned man, having his eyes closed as he was about to end it all right there and then though it appears that he wouldn't be able to make that attempt due to the arrival of two people. "I'm going to jump!"

He soon opened his eyes the moment he saw the two people right in front of him. "No problem, just take my hand first okay?" informed Gohan, who was in his Great-Saiyaman outfit which had the white turban and sunglasses he wore at the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament rather than the helmet he wore up to Videl having blackmailed him to participating in the competition back before the whole mess with Majin Buu had taken place.

"Get back!" yelled the man, not so willing to do so as he intended to keep his word and refused to accept help from anyone least of all Gohan or Videl, the latter donning a similar outfit to Gohan's, including the helmet only the colors were different and the helmet was a different design than the one that her boyfriend used to wear. "I want to die!"

"Then what are you waiting for?" she asked, having her arms crossed and her eyes closed though Gohan wasn't exactly thrilled with what she said.

"Videl, what are you doing?"

Videl soon turned her attention towards the Half-Saiyan, becoming somewhat annoyed with him. "Well Gohan, we don't' have all day" she responded back, especially as she is still new to being a fellow Super Hero helping Gohan in fighting crime within Satan City as a means to hide her cover, fortunately only Erasa is aware of their real identity as is Trunks and Bulma, then again the blunette was the one who created the costumes for the two.

Needless to say, the red-skinned man didn't want to hear this any longer. "Fools, you'll see!" he soon jumped off the building much to the dismay of Gohan and Videl while on the ground below, everyone was horrified that he actually made good on his threat.

"Oh man, I had a feeling this would happen!" muttered Tempest, turning his attention towards Xeno and they needed to hurry in order to stop him from crashing onto the ground as he would most definitely meet his end when that occurs. "Let's go!"

Nodding her head, Xeno had to agree with Tempest as they got ready to jump down after him though it seems that their assistance wouldn't be necessary as Gohan managed to grab the man just in time much the surprise of the two teens in question. "Guess we weren't needed after all" she commented with a smile of relief forming on her face.

"Thank god for that" added Tempest, yet he was rather curious on the two who rescued this man, the ones known as Gohan and Videl as it seemed that there might be more to them than he and Xeno initially thought. "We better get back to the ground; maybe we'll get a chance to thank them when we do."

"Okay…" responded Xeno, giving Tempest another nod as they decided to make their way back down the way they came.

"You can open your eyes." informed Videl, flying next to Gohan as the Half-Saiyan was carrying the red-skinned man in his arms to a safe location and the moment he did so, he didn't sound too pleased that they intervened at the very last second.

"What were you waiting for?" he exclaimed looking at the two Great-Saiyamen in question at what happened, somewhat furious that they stopped him from ending his life when he clearly wished for death unlike most victims on the planet. "I could have been killed! I should sue!"

"You're welcome…" muttered Videl, especially as she is not fond of the fact the man wasn't very grateful that they rescued him and was having a bad feeling about him as they speak, because it's a bit suspicious that they had received a call about someone attempting to kill themselves all of a sudden but couldn't put her finger on it.

However, Gohan on the other hand wasn't just curious on the man whom they saved but along the way he felt two presences at the same tower that they arrived at though they'll have to worry about it later when they get this guy onto the ground. "It couldn't be the ones I felt six months ago, could it?" he silently asked himself with a frown on his face.

A while later Videl and Gohan had arrived at a park with the odd person they had saved yet Videl still didn't trust the person as she crossed her arms over her chest and looked at the red skin man with a frown on her face, while Gohan was hearing what he had to say. "You're saying that you never heard of Tapion the brave."

"No not really." Gohan said as the man went on to tell the two super heroes just who Tapion was and what he had done as well.

That caught Videl's attention at what the short man had said and knew that he was not from Earth, which made her mistrust him a little more, and she knew she had to follow her gut on this. "I better talk to Gohan about this later when we're alone." She thought as she walked up to him knowing they needed to get back to school. "Speaking of which, I think we should be getting back."

"So can we meet him, I mean we could use his help." Gohan said with a light smile on his face as he looked at Videl but he failed to notice the evil look the short alien was giving. "So where is he then?"

Hoi simple smiled at this, looking at the two Humans at least that is what he thought. "Why I thought you never ask." He said as he reached into his coat and began to get something and soon pulled out a Music box. "I just happen to brought him along sadly I have to say he has been trapped in this music box."

Gohan was a little confused at this as to why a hero would be trapped like this. "But if he was a hero as you said then why would he be trapped?"

Hoi once again looked at Gohan and smiled. "Well that is a mystery that begs to be solved." He replied with a sinister smile.

"Wait a moment what else is there, I mean I'm sure there is more that you're not telling us." Videl said and looked down at Hoi with a frown on her face.

"While it is true that he saved Planet Cronos, the same crisis will now happen to Earth." Hoi yelled while a few people who passed by just gave him an odd look that he was crazy or something. "Yes the evil will destroy the Earth and then move on to the next world. There's nothing anyone can do only Tapion can save you now."

Hoi said as Videl and Gohan looked at him and then each other as Hoi soon went on once more. "You see that's why I have come, as I have spent the last thirty years searching for this music box."

With an irritated look on her face Videl just looked over to Hoi. "Then why don't you stop talking open it then." She said with her eyes closed.

"Don't you think that I've already tried that already!" He yelled at her with anger but looked at Gohan who was a little worried now as well as he felt that something was wrong as well.

"So if you can't open why tell us?" Gohan asked as Hoi looked at Gohan and gave a smile as he soon handed him the box.

"Well I thought that you might be the one who could open it, after all only great heroes can open this." He said with a smile while Gohan took the Music box From Hoi and looked at it wondering what to do and how to open it as well.

Once Gohan had the Music box the half Saiyan did his best to try and open it but the tiny hand wouldn't move, no matter how hard he tried. "Argh it won't move!"

"Give it here Gohan." Videl said as she began to look over the box as she did have ones like them when she was just a little girl and frowned lightly. "Well its busted looks like you're out of luck." She answered throwing it away.

"Great danger, yeah right if there was something bad coming I'm sure we would have been told." Videl thought to herself as she soon got ready to fly off.

Yet it was then Hoi said something that the two looked at him. "Please call Shenron call the eternal dragon." he begged as he looked up at the two and noticed the looks of distrust the both had now towards him.

Unknown to the three they were being watched and hearing what was going on as well as both Xeno and Tempest looked at each other and what was being said. "What are they talking about?" she asked him.

"I don't know," Tempest said, "But I don't like it. The old man seems to be knowing a lot about what is going on here… and this great danger he mentioned… this would better not be something that could end us all over again; I mean, didn't you and I came back to life about six months ago?"

"That we did and I have no intention to bite the dust anytime soon, unless it's of old age." Xeno replied.

"My thoughts exactly." Tempest said, as he and Xeno watched the three leave.

"We should get out of here, looks like the job's done." Xeno said.

"I agree, but I can't help to think that there's more to this than that meets the eye… I have a feeling we'll be seeing those two again in the near future."

"I believe so too." Xeno said as she and Tempest went to exit the building.

"Hey, how about we go shopping for a bit now that we're in town anyway?" Xeno then asked as the two were out in the street again.

"I don't see why not. There's been a few stores that have caught my attention and I'm eager to see if I get some more useful equipment. Perhaps soon I have made enough money to afford an apartment of my own to settle, so I don't have to worry about moving places all the time anymore." Tempest said.

"Oh, right; you still are doing those odd-jobs you told me about. Can I go with you for some time to see the routes you're taking?" Xeno asked.

"Sure thing; I've taken my time to explore the city and calculate the shortest routes possible, even if it is to take shortcuts across sidewalks and the like while avoiding getting into accidents." Tempest replied.

"Are you sure that is safe?" Xeno asked.

"It is. I'm also keeping my speed in check too; I'm not one of those callous guys whom takes the scenic route at blinding speed just to get to the destination the fastest as possible." Tempest replied with a smile.

However, as Tempest and Xeno crossed the road using the zebra with green light, a car from an obvious street racing punk just stopped next to them by at high speed with the breaks screeching a little, beforehonking loudly, startling the two. "Watch where you're going, you dumbasses!" The punk driver shouted as he passed by.

"Double dumbass on you, you bloody speed demon!" Tempest hollered back.

"Haste makes waste, you moron!" Xeno added the driver simply flipped them off before driving off at high speed, popping a balloon which had landed on the road after a child had lost its grip in it. "Can you believe that idiot?!" she asked, her hands in her sides.

"He'd better watch himself; next time I see him, he's in trouble." Tempest said, his green eyes shimmering.

"You bet!" Xeno said, nodding at him before the two made their way onward, chatting about irresponsible drivers in traffic.

"Wait, some crisis coming to Earth?!" commented Erasa, somewhat surprised by the fact that her two friends from Orange Star High School were telling them about this strange old man that they've saved not too long ago and felt that the others should be present for the meeting at the Capsule Corp in order to better discuss the situation in private. "Just when you thought we only had Baby to worry about…"

"Yeah, yet even though you don't trust him you brought him here?" asked Krillin, even he was having a hard time believing what the old man was saying while Videl shook her head with a frown on her face the moment the raven-haired best friend of Goku's mentioned it.

Even though Trunks, Mr. Buu, Piccolo and Shin were absent it has to be addressed right away and the four will need to become aware of this later after they join with the others. "Good or bad Krillin, we had to know what's in that box." she answered, as much as she hated the idea herself and especially as everyone was glancing at the mysterious music box.

"Whether you believe me or not is irrelevant at this point," commented Hoi, not blaming the fact that Videl isn't so trusting of him let alone the rest of the Z-Fighters present in the room as Bulma was scanning the music box in hopes of finding out more on it. "Evil is at your doorstep and unless you find a way to release Tapion, all of mankind will be laid to waste."

"A little late for that," began Yamcha, being the next to speak referring to the fact that mankind was already wiped out completely by a previous threat to the entire universe even though it all got resolved in the end though this led to something much worse coming their way. "Majin Buu beat you to the punch and that was six months ago."

"Huh?" wondered Hoi, turning his attention towards the former Desert Bandit with a hint of curiosity upon hearing Majin Buu, without arousing any unnecessary attention from everyone in the room including Videl. "What is this Majin Buu."

"Some things are better left unsaid." responded Tien with his close friend Chiaotzu by his side, knowing it might take a very long time to explain the situation that transpired long before the red-skinned old man's sudden appearance though the Z-Fighters were all training during the course of the six months that passed following Kid Buu's defeat then turned his attention towards Bulma. "Any luck on finding out what's inside that box, Bulma?"

Light filled the room and Bulma shook her head, frowning as she turned her attention towards the three-eyed man. "No, the scans are inconclusive…" she replied, getting nothing on what she's been examining this whole time and she turned her chair around to glance at the music box. "Whatever's in that box won't be revealed until we open it."

The glass dome opened and Goku picked the music box up with his own hands, glancing at it for a brief moment before attempting to pull on the handle in an effort to use his own strength to open it but to no avail. "Goku, what exactly are you doing?" asked Chi-Chi, though she gave a small sigh as it is Goku she's talking to but never the less hoped he knew what he's doing by attempting to open it with his power until he eventually gave up.

"It's no use, it won't budge…"

It was then that Krillin came up to the group near the music box and said. "Guys, this isn't working… "he informed the other Z-Fighters despite the fact that while he's curious on what's in the box, there might be nothing they can do to open it even with the power of a Saiyan after seeing Goku's failed attempt in making it open up. "If Goku can't open it then that thing's gonna stay shut."

"Not necessarily" said Goku, placing the music box back onto the table with Goten rather curious on it and how it looked much different than any other music box he's seen though part of him wishes Trunks were here to see this rather than attempting to handle two years of rigorous training in two days inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. "As Gohan said himself, we need the seven Dragonballs… besides we still have one good wish and since Porunga erased the memories of Buu from everyone on Earth except for us and our family then we could make use of it."

"Right."

Videl approached the group, and had something in her pocket which she had brought with her from her house in Satan City for sometime. "Well we technically only need six of the Dragonballs actually" she said, revealing that she had with her none-other than the Four Star Dragonball much to the shock of the others in the lab.

"The Four Star Ball?" wondered Gohan, having a bit of nostalgic value when it came to that one particular Dragonball as he used to have it on his hat when he was little and before he was trained by Piccolo… which is also ironic that it also happened to be the one Dragonball that his late adoptive great-grandfather left in Goku's care during his father's childhood days growing up in Mount Paozu. "Where did you find it? In fact, how did you find it?"

"It's a long story" answered Videl, flushing pink as she did have the time to look for one of the Dragonballs before they all started their training for Baby's arrival and placed it into his hand.

"Wow, so that's a real Dragonball?" asked Erasa, examining the Four Star Ball up close and was left in complete awe as if the other six were anything like this than she might volunteer helping find them no matter how hard it may be. "It looks amazing."

Nodding his head, Gohan had to admit it was amazing but there was something that needed to be said as while they're meant to give them hope, he fears they could be their end if they weren't careful. "Yes, plus they are the only means of summoning the Eternal Dragon Shenron but only when all seven of them are united" he began, knowing he also needed to be careful in what he's saying. "However, in the wrong hands… they could be used for God knows what dangers."

"Oh?"

"He means there were villains that tried to get their hands on the Dragonballs before Buu even came into the picture" said Videl with a frown on her own face, still trying to take in what Gohan told her about what transpired before he met the two female teens at Orange Star High School six months ago and that he's been fighting for the fate of the universe since he's been a little boy. "Aside from that Emperor Pilaf guy, there were others who wanted the Dragonballs such as the Red Ribbon Army, King Piccolo, Garlic Jr, Vegeta and Nappa, and yes Frieza as well."

Erasa didn't say a word, especially as this was a notion that her two friends left out when they first told her about the Dragonballs but never the less, they couldn't blame her for feeling this way. "I… I'm not sure what to say…" she finally spoke, lowering her head with a hint of concern in her own voice as she thought about what was revealed earlier.

Yet an evil grin slowly formed on Hoi's face and it didn't go unnoticed from Videl as she still had a bad feeling about this strange old man as if her entire body could shiver. "Videl?" came Gohan's voice, causing the raven-haired girl to turn her attention back towards her half-Saiyan boyfriend. "Is something the matter?"

"Nothing, I thought I've seen an expression on his face" she replied, though while she was hoping that Hoi is indeed right about Tapion, she can't help but feel that there might be more to his tale than what he already revealed to them. "I hope I was just seeing things."

"I see…" he said, yet before they made their way back to school, he felt the power levels again and had a feeling they were being watched the moment they first learned about this Tapion guy from the red-skinned old man. Guess he'll have to worry about finding them later since they still had a task to do themselves such as searching for the remaining Dragonballs in order to bring Shenron forth and make their wish to open the music box. "Try not to get too worked up over what happened earlier okay?"

"Maybe" she replied back to him, still hoping that it was just her seeing things and yet it's too soon to tell if there was something suspicious on the entire thing or not.

"I'll let 17 and 18 know that I'll be home late" said Krillin, knowing how much 17 wanted to spend time with his niece which helped to make up for missing out on the 7 years of doing so following the Cell Games and the conflict with Bojack plus he couldn't leave Marron alone by herself. "Hopefully Marron will be fine with me being out for a bit longer."

"I'm sure you have your reasons, we all do" informed Goku, not blaming his best friend for being worried about his only child and especially as everyone is doing their absolute hardest in order to become stronger for the upcoming conflict that needed to be resolved. "My other self lost to Baby because of being turned back into a child… I won't let that same fate happen to me."

"I know you won't, after all this is who you are" commented Krillin, even though no normal human being could ever get as strong as Goku this won't mean they won't train to become stronger themselves, then again Goku is a Saiyan which makes perfect sense for him to become stronger faster than anyone else, aside from Vegeta, Gohan, Goten and Trunks. In fact, hopefully Piccolo's training would assist him in become stronger himself as they're going to need all the help they can get to win this.

Ch-Chi turned her attention towards Bulma and said. "By the way, where exactly are Vegeta and Trunks?"she asked the blue-haired woman, causing her to frown the moment she heard the question told to her then recalled the previous conversation six months ago involving their plans for what to do about the mess 14 and a half years from now.

"Trunks is still at the Lookout with Piccolo, Buu and Dende, odds are he is serious about the whole training for two days inside the Time Chamber," answered Bulma, showing her concern for Trunks and hoping that he won't lose his life out there in a possible battle that they aren't sure they will be able to win as for Vegeta, she knew her husband well enough to train in an effort to achieve the next level of Super Saiyan after learning that even his Super Saiyan 2 form isn't enough to stop his alternate timeline counterpart from becoming a permanent host of the Tuffle Parasite. "Vegeta on the other hand is elsewhere doing his own method of rigorous training…. saying that he won't rest until he achieves Super Saiyan 3 like Goku and Gotenks did."

"Well then let's get going and find them." Videl said as Bulma got the dragon raider and gave a smile.

"Well it shouldn't take us too long to find them." Bulma said as she clicked on it as Bulma looked at it and already saw two Dragonballs.

"So we should split up then to look for them and then we can all meet back here." Krillin said, while the others all nodded.

The others all nodded as one by one they took off into the air so that they could find the Dragonballs and free Tapion from the Music box. Soon one by one the Dragonballs were slowly found the remaining six, though it took some time.

Erasa was the most happy as she had never see this dragon before and she had to admit she was as she was standing outside capsule corp. with all seven Dragonballs glowing. "Wow I can't wait to meet the dragon Videl." She said with a smile on her face.

"Arise Shenron!" began Goku, looking forward to summoning the Eternal Dragon and find out what's inside that music box while Hoi secretly gave an evil grin as the sky began turning from clear to completely black as if there was some kind of storm about to take place.

Tempest and Xeno continued to walk down the street. "What do you think?" she then asked, noting towards the events which had transpired not too long ago.

"For some reason I'm having a bad feeling about this," Tempest said, "that old man definitely didn't look he was from here at all, as if he is here for a specific purpose. Yet what the purpose is happens to be something only he may know of."

"True. You think that he may be up to something?"

"That is a possibility, although I wonder…"

Tempest and Xeno both suddenly stopped in their tracks as the air suddenly got darker… yet there were no clouds that indicated anything of a dangerous thunderstorm coming up, nor was it forecasted in any weather broadcast anywhere…

Back at the Capsule Corp, everyone watched as the sky turned completely dark which was a sign that Shenron is about to be summoned and in a flash of golden light… everyone briefly shielded their eyes as the Earth's Eternal Dragon soon appeared before the Z-Fighters and their friends and family. "It worked…" began Hoi in slight awe, having never seen something like this before in his entire life but then again never has Erasa. "The Eternal Dragon… Shenron…."

"Wow so that is Shenron?" asked Erasa in complete shock, especially as it was her first time seeing the Eternal Dragon of Earth in person and even more so at the sight of how huge he was. "Now I've seen everything…."

"Yeah, that how I reacted when I first saw him being summoned at the Lookout," answered Videl, knowing this was her second time ever seeing Shenron as the first time was when the Z-Fighters used the Dragonballs to bring back to life everyone killed since the start of the World Tournament except for the evil ones which in a way was a good thing because had Kibito not been brought back to life himself, Gohan would have actually died following his initial defeat at the hands of Majin Buu. "However Namek's Eternal Dragon Porunga is much bigger than him believe it or not."

"W…What?!" muttered the blonde-haired teen, even more shocked than ever at hearing that the Namekian Eternal Dragon Porunga is much larger than Shenron which was something Videl couldn't believe herself the first time she ever came to New Namek after Kid Buu's defeat and after learning about Baby from her future daughter.

Overhearing this, Hoi was at a loss of words himself upon hearing about Porunga but will need to ask them about that Dragon later as Shenron glanced down towards the Z-Fighters. "I have returned to grant you one wish!" Shenron spoke to the ones who have summoned him, especially as it has been exactly six months since he was last summoned by the Z-Fighters back at Dende's Lookout. "Quickly name your desire!"

It wasn't for long before Hoi approached Shenron, knowing what their wish was going to be and needed to take advantage of that. "I wish only the release of noble Tapion from his cruel prison!" he said, revealing the Music Box that he held in his possession to the Eternal Dragon and hoped that he had enough power to open it.

"It shall be done!" said Shenron before his eyes began glowing a brighter shade of red and electricity struck the Music Box, resulting in Hoi losing his grip on it immediately as it fell onto the ground but never the less the Dragon was successful in accomplishing the wish that needed to be granted. "Your wish has been granted… Farewell!"

With that, Shenron departed in another flash of golden light but Gohan paid attention towards each of the Dragonballs and knew which one was the Four Star Ball that his adoptive Great-Grandfather had passed onto Goku during his childhood. "Alright, here is goes!" he said to himself, jumping into the air just as the Dragonballs all rose up and were about to be scattered across the entire planet only for the Half-Saiyan warrior to grab the Four Star Ball before it can disperse with the others. "Got it!"

Upon the Dragonballs scattering across the Earth, the sky immediately returned to normal and everyone approached the Music Box in hopes that it worked though after a few seconds or so, Bulma crossed her arms with a scowl. "That's granting our request?" she said, believing that not even someone as powerful as Shenron was able to successfully get the Music Box open. "I think he's losing his touch."

"Huh?" wondered Videl, upon seeing the handle suddenly beginning to turn itself slowly and everyone watched in surprise that it worked with strange music being heard throughout the entire area that they were all in. "Wait a minute…"

"The music…" commented Gohan, just as surprised as his girlfriend was and had a feeling that Shenron's power may have actually worked out.

"It sounds nice." Videl said as she closed her eyes and listened to the music, and she was not the only one since the other females were also listened to the music.

Bulma smiled at this as she listened to the music that was playing. "It's so beautiful." she said as she placed her hand on her chin.

"Actually it sounds sad to me." Videl said while Erasa nodded at what her friend had said since it too sounded sad to her as well.

Goten on the other hand looked excited in seeing what Tapion looked like. "He's coming!" he spoke with enthusiasm in his voice and couldn't wait for the Music Box to finally open up.

The lid of the box popped open and a great wind rushed out of it surrounding the Z-Fighters and Hoi along with white smoke as well. None of them noticed that Hoi was slowly backing away from them as he smiled at what was going on and soon his eyes went red and a blue aura was around his body and lightly laughed.

Goku and all the others were amazed at what they were seeing as they continued to look on as Hoi slowly landed on the grass all the while play the music. "Hoi was right, his hero really does exist."

Something wasn't right, not right at all. The music box shattered in pieces and Tapion lowered himself. Tapion had pale-pink skin and flaming-red hair. He stopped playing his instrument as he looked up to see the people who released him.

"Wow he kind of looks cute." Erasa said with a smile on her face while Videl gave a sigh at her friend, after all first alien meeting and she finds him cute.

Hoi slowly started walking up to Tapion before the man pulled out a sword and held it to the small red alien's neck. "Stay back," he warned. "Are you the one who revived me?" he thenasked Hoi as he looked at him with a frustrated look on his face.

However all Hoi did was continue to smile, even with a sword pointed at his neck. "You're most welcome," Hoy told him. "Nice to have some leg room after 1,000 years a bet."

"You old fool! Send me back!" Tapion said through gritted teeth while keeping his eyes on the smiling Hoi.

"Not an option, the music box has been destroyed." Hoi told him as he soon showed him the former music box that was now destroyed, but he also lightly laughed at this and soon looked at the ocarina in Tapion's hands.

"Hi there, you must be Tapion! I'm Goku," the Saiyan said walking towards the new alien. "You know we had a real hard time getting you out."

"Do you have any idea of what you've just done?!" Tapion yelled angrily. "Well do you? I don't know if I can stop him this time!"

"What do you mean?" Goku said confused as he had no idea what Tapion was even talking about. Tapion didn't answer he just jumped off a rail and stormed off.

Videl however crossed her arms over her chest as she continued to look over at Hoi with mistrust in her eyes, and Gohan caught this all too well. "Videl what's the matter?" he asked as he moved closer to his girlfriend.

All Videl did was node at this and looked at Gohan. "Hoi is hiding something Gohan." she said with a whisper making sure that Hoi didn't hear her.

"Boy..." Goku began as he rubbed the back of his head and looked in the direction that Tapion had gone in. "He sure seems troubled."

"Well I think we should..." Bulma began to say when a flash in the sky caught their attention, as they all looked up and saw something with black smock coming out of the back.

"What is that thing?" Goku asked as he tried to see just what it was.

"I don't know, but it's coming this way." Bulma said as she soon could tell what it was a ship. "Guys it's a ship!"

Everyone else just looked on as the ship was getting closer and saw that it and was heading right towards them, but that was not the only thing they could see it was out of control as well. "Wait a moment." Gohan said as he looked at the ship.

"What is it Gohan?" Erasa asked as she started to wonder what the matter was and why Gohan was worried.

"I know that ship." He said as he looked at Videl and Bulma as they all soon knew the ship that Gohan was talking about and they too were worried at what this meant. "I think something happened to him you guys."

The other all nodded at this knowing that they needed to stop the ship from crashing, yet Videl was sure to keep at least one eye on Hoi as she still didn't fully trust him nor what he wanted from Tapion from being free. "Great… just when we thought we already didn't have enough to worry about" she muttered to herself, especially as she is still new to flying and hopefully will be able to catch up better than she did when she tried to accompany Gohan and Kibito in meeting with the others in an effort to stop Babidi from unleashing Majin Buu.

Needless to say, just to be on the safe side Goku, Gohan, Goten, Krillin, Yamcha, Zangya Tien and Chiaotzu went up ahead as they were the strongest among the group as well as the best bet in stopping Shamano's ship from crashing onto the Earth. "I didn't think he would be back from his mission this soon…" commented Krillin, suspecting that there might be something wrong as Gohan said.

"Me neither," added Yamcha, feeling as if this was like when Vegeta and Nappa first arrived on Earth as well as when Frieza and King Cold arrived, though the latter was stopped before it could even happen thanks to the arrival of Future Trunks who easily took the two tyrants down like they were nothing which was back before they knew who the time travelling Half-Saiyan really was. "And it hasn't even been a year yet too."

"I know, but right now our main focus is to make sure he's okay" responded Tien, both he and Chiaotzu missed out on the 25th World Tournament as well as most of the events involving Buu but this time they intend to make up for that and do whatever they can to help make sure they don't make that mistake again. "There might also be some reason for his return, such as what information he has on this Baby guy."

"Well its best not to bring that up while Gohan's around, I mean you know what happened with…" Krillin stopped himself from finishing as he is already aware that Gohan and Videl still hold a grudge towards Baby for killing their future daughter because of the fatal injuries inflicted upon her by their alternate timeline counterparts who were made into loyal Tuffle slaves to do his bidding. "They already have enough on their minds as it is, best not make it worse."

"Sorry…" said Tien with a frown on his face, especially as the two raven-haired teens were hoping to become stronger by the time their timeline's Baby arrives on Earth so they can make his life a living hell for what he has done in Pan's timeline and hopefully the others would become stronger themselves so they can do what is needed.

"Fortunately Krillin and I learning the Kaioken could help make it easier, I mean it wouldn't make sense for Goku to be the only one to know that technique" said Yamcha as he reflected on their previous conversation six months ago concerning their preparations for when they have to fight Baby in the impending 15 years from now, technically 14 and a half years from now as they all were training their absolute hardest to get stronger. "Sure he's known that since before he returned to Earth to fight Vegeta and Nappa but we should at least become better prepared as well with techniques from King Kai."

"Don't forget Dad is planning to teach it to me and Videl not just to you and Yamcha" added Gohan, joining in on the conversation as it is clear that even though the Super Saiyan transformation completely overshadows the Kaioken technique completely that doesn'tmean the Kaioken doesn't still have it usefulness when used at the right moments. "Plus Videl and I have a score to settle with Baby when he does arrive."

Yamcha remained silent, knowing what Gohan meant by that remark especially as the older Half-Saiyan wanted to make good on his promise to Pan to become stronger and not to stop training at all because that was how his alternate timeline counterpart easily fell victim to Baby's infection to begin with… he was damn well not gonna let it happen again, especially not to this timeline. "Not only this but Yamcha and I were practicing the Fusion Dance technique that Goku taught us when not training" Tien spoke up, getting everyone's attention.

"That's great you guys!" commented Goku, glad that the two humans were able to balance training and practicing the Fusion Dance so that they would be stronger by the time they needed to actually perform the move successfully for a difficult battle. "How far along have you made in the progress?"

"So far so good" answered Yamcha, speaking up as well especially as there is a chance that they'll need to use it against Baby and that Gotenks and Gogeta would also be a needed assistance for the worse case if their timeline's Baby is somehow stronger than in the future that Pan originated from. "I can only hope this dance better be worth it."

"I'm sure it will, besides Goten and Trunks used it four times successfully during the conflict with Buu" reassured the pure-hearted Saiyan Warrior, then again both Goten and Trunks were Half-Saiyans and little kids when they learned the technique while he, Vegeta, Tien and Yamcha are full-grown adults that had to know it which Vegeta made it clear that he would only do it because of Bulma making a good point. "It helped them so far, and it may help you two as well."

"For the sake of the Earth, I hope you're right" replied Tien, giving another serious expression but part of him was concerned for Launch as she was also one of the humans who ended up becoming a Tuffle slave to that bastard of a parasite and wanted to make sure this timeline's Baby would do the same thing Pan's timeline's version did.

Remaining silent, Goku in a way felt responsible for what became of Pan's timeline as allowing Pilaf to accidently turn him back into a kid with that accidental wish from the Black Star Dragonballs ended up contributing to the way things turned out and how it made him much weaker to the point where he couldn't even maintain his SS3 state against Baby-Vegeta and ultimately got him killed by the Revenge Death Ball afterwards…. he knew that in order to help this timeline, he needed to keep Pilaf from turning him into a child and before he somehow gets his hands on the Black Star Dragonballs no matter what.

Back at the Lookout, Piccolo, Mr. Buu, Dende and Shin all felt a strong presence heading towards the Earth though it felt familiar to them due and hoped that it was who they thought it was. "Huh? He's back already?" wondered Piccolo, having a feeling that it was indeed Shamano that was approaching Earth and hoped there would be some good news from their Trimonight ally.

"Oh?" muttered Buu, while new to being able to sense the power levels of other beings at least those that are not Androids, he was just as curious as Piccolo and the fact that it could be Shamano made them more surprised.

"Wait, are you sure that is really him?" asked Mr. Popo, becoming concerned since they needed to be certain that it was him as just sensing his presence alone wasn't enough as they looked at the crystal ball that Shin was able to borrow from the Old Kai. "Oh my… it is him but…."

Needless to say, their expressions changed to show that while it was a relief that they now know for sure it's Shamano… something was off with how the ship is returning to the Earth due to the fact that it looked as if it was out of control. "Oh no, it looks like its about to crash-land and I pray that it wouldn't hit where I think it would…" began the Kibito Kai, knowing that they needed to make certain that wherever it lands at wouldn't hit a civilian populated area as they don't want a repeat of when Vegeta and Nappa first arrived on the planet in their respective Attack Balls.

"We don't know but we need to be ready to intercept it just in case!" responded Piccolo with a serious expression on his face then turned his attention towards Mr. Popo knowing that Trunks wouldn't be able to assist them since he is still undergoing his training inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and wanted to make good use of those two years of rigorous training in two days. "Mr. Popo… Dende… Shin, Majin Buu and I will be making our way to stop that ship… especially as we don't know where it's going to land so we need to be sure it won't hit a civilian population!"

With a slight nod of his head, Mr. Popo knew what Piccolo and the others at the Lookout were planning to do for the worse case scenario as they didn't need any unnecessary civilian causalities as the Dragonballs were just used and will be stone for an entire year due to the remaining wish having been used but they had no idea on what it was. "Just be careful, as we still don't know as to what is causing this crash landing" he informed the others and turned his attention towards Dende as the young guardian hated having to stay behind but it was for his own safety as his death would cause the Dragonballs to be permanently inert.

"Any idea on where it would land specifically?"

"Hold on Dende, I am doing my best to find out…" said Shin, glancing at the Crystal Ball and examining for the précised landing coordinates so they would be more than ready to intercept as it took some thorough searching and a few minutes or so before he managed to estimate where it would crash. "Okay, I think I have an idea on where it will crash-land."

Nodding his head, the male Namekian Warrior knew what they needed to do as the quickest way to that location is via Shin's Instantaneous Movement. "Let's get going!" he responded, then he and Buu approached the Kibito Kai while turning their attention towards both Dende and Mr. Popo before having one last thing in mind before they go. "We'll be back when we find out what's happening with Shamano, tell Trunks not to worry if he finishes one of the two days inside the Time Chamber okay?"

"Gotcha" Dende replied back, all five knew that Shin was their best bet in getting to them their destination as swiftly as possible to reduce any innocent causalities as much as possible plus they're certain that Goku would most likely get there ahead of them and the rest of the Z-Fighters thanks to his Instant Transmission, though he did mention teaching it to Piccolo and Gohan later in case anything were to happen to him again. "Good luck."

The three fighters were silent as Shin immediately teleported himself and both Piccolo and Buu from the Lookout yet they couldn't help but have a bad feeling about this as Shamano making a crash-landing isn't a good sign and hoped nothing has happened to him while he was on his previous mission.

Both Tempest and Xeno watched as the dark clouds also gave the appearance of a Dragon, before they saw it vanish and the air cleared again. "What was that?" she asked, wondering what had just happened as it can't all of a sudden become night and then back to day this quickly.

"I have no idea, and to be honest I don't like it one bit. Something's rotten in and I have a feeling that this may cause us to get into action sometime soon." Tempest said.

"I agree." Xeno replied, before she and Tempest moved on with their business. Little did they know about what was going on as to why a dragon was summoned…

The Z-Fighters all made their way towards the crashed ship wondering what happened as they reached closer to the now crashed alien ship that thankfully didn't land in the city but outside in the rocky desert.

"Man his ship sure took a beating." Krillin said as he saw the holes and how bad the ship was as they looked for the door to the ship.

As they looked for a way in Gohan and Videl soon noticed the door opening and soon the other Z-Fighters all came to the door as a ton of smoke came out and soon a hand. "Hey man we didn't think that you would be coming back this soon."

For a while they were all silent at why he was taking to long to answer them but once they saw his head come out from the smoke and how hurt he was they knew that something had gone wrong. They saw that his face was covered in blood and was having a hard time breathing in air and rushed over to him knowing that he needed help, more so as they saw him fall to the ground and that he was now missing an arm.

Videl was shocked at this and wondered what that monster Baby had done after all Shamano said he was going to Pan's timeline to get as much information as he could so it could help them in this timeline. "Oh my..." she said as she covered her mouth at the sight he was in and knew this was Baby's work and maybe theirs as well.

A/Ns: Well here it is, the first part of the Wrath of the Dragon events is done and I know that there are people who want to see Trunks and Tapion meeting each other but let me reassure you that it will still happen especially as it is a huge part of the movie other than the epic battle against Hirudegarn itself.

Also I figured that I could try another twist by adding in Valese from Dragonball GT into the mix early on since the Goten/Valese pairing is one of the only things I liked about GT in general aside from Super Saiyan 4 I mean. Especially as it is a pity that there is no Valese for Battle of Gods, Resurrection of F or Super, the only thing that bummed me out on the retcon.

As for what happened to Shamano and how he lost his arm, well that's something you will have to wait until the next chapter to learn of that… Sure it is a cliffhanger but there are times where it is needed to help make things more interesting so it is best to stay tuned for how the next part will handle the rest of the movie's events. Peace!
