Disclaimer: I don't own Dragonball, Z, GT, Kai or Super but if I owned GT then it wouldn't have been Goku Time nor would Goku have turned back into a kid. Martian Tempest owns Tempest, Xeno and her family while thedarkpokemaster owns Shamano plus I would like to thank the two of them for their assistance in working on the story as it wouldn't have become a huge hit if not for them. Oh yeah, while the start of the events of Wrath of the Dragon isn't much right now it will get more epic as things progress since I really loved that movie.
Plus it has been confirmed by Akira Toriyama himself that the Champa Saga is not going to be the last arc of Dragonball Super and Future Trunks is coming back though I am not sure yet on his role in the upcoming next arc but hey, I know it will be good (I find it weird that his hair is blue in Super for some reason, no idea why)… Especially as they brought back the Kaioken, which was never used again ever since Goku achieved SS1 against Frieza on Namek (or in the case of the anime since his fight against Pikkon during the final round of the Otherworld Martial Arts Tournament though I doubt he would be able to use Kaioken due to his child body in GT, which makes me glad that GT is no longer considered canon).

The Z-Fighters and their friends were in complete shock at the sight they were witnessing, while Shamano managed to return to Earth, it wasn't completely intact as he's not only missing an arm but is badly wounded to boot. "Oh my god, Shamano…" muttered Zangya despite her initial dislike towards him, part of her wondered what could have happened to him. "You okay?"
"Yeah… I think so… Unfortunately, the damage to Pan's Timeline was worse than I originally thought" he replied, while they were aware of what had transpired which led to Baby's rise of power but became concerned by the fact he mentioned how worse things had gotten ever since Pan came to their timeline. "The Earth's gone… Destroyed by the countdown caused when Pilaf accidentally turned the Goku of that Era into a kid…"
Upon hearing that revelation, everyone present was horrified by the fact that the Earth ultimately met its fate at the hands of the negative effects from the Black Star Dragonballs and it made them cringe at the fact those on the Earth in that Era were not only turned into Baby's slaves but have all perished in the ensuring explosion. "You don't mean…" Goten began but stopped himself from finishing his sentence as Shamano nodded his head slowly despite his current condition.
"Yeah… Those still on Earth ended up killed by its destruction, especially as even when the Black Star Dragonballs were returned to Earth, they were not returned to where they were originally used and then Baby used them again to restore the Tuffle Planet..." he barely managed to breathe his answer but the others knew that he needed medical treatment as soon as humanly possible even for a Trimonight like himself. "Needless to say, Piccolo chose to die with the Earth so that the Black Star Dragonballs can never be used again in that era and as for that era's Krillin…"
"Huh? What about me?" asked Krillin, somewhat surprised when Shamano mentioned his alternate self from the era that he came back from though the expression on his face wasn't a good sign at all along with the fact the mysterious alien looked away from him.
"You aren't killed either by the destruction of Earth or by Baby, the one who killed you… Was that era's Android 17…" he replied before coughing up a mouthful of blood, as expected everyone present was horrified by what they heard… Especially Krillin, Android 16, Android 17 and Android 18 the most as while they've become aware that in the era of Future Trunks and Cell's Era, it was Future Android 17 and Future Android 18 that killed Future Krillin but the fact that Neo-Tuffle Android 17 had murdered Neo-Tuffle Krillin is something even they couldn't stomach hearing, Shamano couldn't blame them. "I know it hurts hearing this news but unfortunately it is true… Hell, I don't know all the details as to why that era's Android 17 suddenly went on a rampage and murdered his brother-in-law during a battle but I would have ended up with that fate had it not been for the fate there was only way to stop him…"
Flashback
Shamano found himself backed into a corner ever since arriving to Pan's Era… Baby had managed to damage his entire ship with his Revenge Death Ball so he needed to get some parts from the Tuffle Planet in order to restore it for when he returned to the Main Timeline. "Give it up, you don't really think you can face the four of us at once do you?" asked Neo-Tuffle Android 17 with an evil grin on his face as he stood by the side his sister, neice and brother-in-law as Baby had given them orders to kill them.
"You are not going to stop me, besides even if I do fail… There will be others to take my place!" responded Shamano, not wanting to back down from this especially as he knew that he will need to fight his way through the four Neo-Tuffles in order to at least find one intact egg to use for the necessary preparations. "Not one death will go unavenged and I'm sure that your master already knows that doesn't he?"
Both Android 17 and Android 18 got into a fighting stance then attacked Shamano together, he managed to block their attacks but while they were simple punches and kicks… He knew that any ki attacks would cause him a bit of problems. "Android 18, are you really going to do this? Especially with a child and a husband?" he asked the female Android, who responded by sending a roundhouse kick that be ducked under.
"We are reborn as Tuffles, and it is all thanks to Master Baby!" she replied, as a sign that even listening to reason won't be enough even more so as Krillin and his daughter soon attacked which made Shamano toss a smoke bomb onto the ground in order to cover his brief escape… Needless to say, he will also need to be more careful than ever since the Z-Fighters can sense ki.
"You cannot hide from us forever!' yelled the once bald-headed fighter, becoming rather annoyed with the fact that Shamano is playing a bit of cat and mouse against them… As if refusing to come out because of fear towards them or fear of causing severe harm to the former humans but the Trimonight was no fool as he sent a kick to Krillin's face which caused him to crash onto the ground.
"Sorry, but it was for your own good…" he said, normally it would knock him out or bang him up pretty badly unfortunately it's not to be this time as Krillin managed to get back onto his feet with a pissed off expression on his face then as he prepared to charge in at Shamano... Something disastrous had occurred… A dark pink beam came from out of nowhere which pierced through Krillin's chest much to the horror of Shamano, Android 18 and Marron as blood spurted out of the fatal wound. "KRILLIN!"
Soon afterwards, an evil laugh was heard as Android 17 appeared… While he missed his intended target, he figured that the death of one pathetic human being whose use was less than nil would make up for this. "Pitiful human, a shame really… I was really starting to like him too."
As Android 18 and Marron went by the side of the now deceased Krillin and pleaded to him not to die and to wake up but to no avail, Shamano's expression changed from horror to hatred as this made him want to stop Android 17 before he could harm another innocent life regardless of the timeline. "YOU SON OF BITCH!" he lashed, going head on against the male Android and his fist collided with 17's, causing a blinding flash of light to occur in the entire area.
End of Flashback
"You didn't…" said Android 18, with Shamano nodding his head to confirm that the only way to stop the rampaging Neo-Tuffle Android 17 in Pan's Era was to kill him in battle and it contributed to how he ended up like this right now though he never got to finish continue with what he needed to tell the group when coming out of the ship was a young girl with blue-hair and bright blue eyes… reminiscing Bulma during her teenage years when she first met Goku when he was a child but the big difference is that this girl was 11 years old and wore a red belly-baring top with exposed shoulders, red fingerless gloves that go up to the shoulders, a red mini skirt with a yellow belt buckle, and red thigh-high boots.
She also had a red hairpiece however, like Shamano before her, she was in a critical condition and she appeared to be bleeding to death which shocked the Z-Fighters even more than ever that he somehow brought someone from Pan's Era to their timeline and it made them wish they had Senzu Beans with them because it's exactly like when Pan first came to warn the Z-Fighters of the past about what is gonna happen. "Who is that?" Bulma asked in complete dismay, being the first to approach the dying blunette and wondered why she looked like her from when she was younger.
"Well you see that's the thing..." Shamano said weakly as the girl looked at the fighters and knew who they were.
Shamano was about to say who she was when the girl in question decided to talk for him. "Mom." The girl said with a weak smile as Bulma was shocked when she heard this as she knew that the girl was talking to her.
"Wait..." Bulma began as she looked at her and had a feeling that the girl was right. "No please no!" she then cried she had already seen what this had done to Gohan and Videl and now this was happening to her as well.
"Yeah she's your daughter, one of the people who was infected by Baby, you see I tried something to see if what I had could free people from Baby's eggs." He said knowing he would tell them later. "In short it worked on Bulla here but Baby Goten, Videl, Trunks and Gohan showed up."
The Z-Fighters were shocked to hear this and they had a feeling they all knew what had happened and why both were like this Bulma however knew she needed to go to her daughter as her time was short but she wondered why he brought her back and not to the Kai Planet of that time needless to say Piccolo, Shin and Buu had just arrived at the time. "Piccolo!" began Goku, surprised to see the Namekian alongside Buu and Shin having come.
"We sensed something and we came as soon as we did" explained the Namekian Warrior, turning his attention to his former rival and then glanced at Gohan as the three had seen Shamano's ship in its current condition which made the now whole Nameless Namekian suspect something might have gone wrong. "Is Shamano alright?"
"Aside from missing an arm, he's fine…" informed Gohan, however they have more important matters to attend to such as the girl who Shamano ended up bringing with him by mistake and much like Pan, she is dying which worries him. "Besides, we have bigger problems…"
Bulla however looked to her mother with a smile on her face, and it was a joy to her after the prison that she had been in thanks to Baby. Since when she had been made into a Tuffle she could still see what was going on but was unable to do anything to stop her actions, the thought alone of her hurting the ones she cared for still hurt her deeply.
"Mom I'm happy to see the real you and not the one that Baby had." Bulla said with a weak smile as she hugged her mother and looked around to see the others around her.
Meanwhile, Tempest and Xeno were still going out together, having a great time as they just came out of a bar to have a drink together, while also looking at some places Tempest expressed interest of living in. "So, when will you be able to have a place of your own?" she asked Tempest curiously.
"Quite soon, I guess. I just need to be sure my life savings are good enough to afford it and everything, as well as allowing me to at least have the time to restock when necessary…" Tempest said, evidently not wanting to lose a new home within a month or so after just moving in.
Xeno nodded as she understood where Tempest was getting at. "What kind of home will you be looking for then?" She asked, being curious.
"A simple one, one that at least supplies the basic needs, yet can be quite cozy where needed, and can at least be home to two people minimum." Tempest said, taking into account that he could have guests come over at some point of time.
Xeno on the other hand blushed a little at the thought of living in the house together with him, the blush growing even harder as she realized what that could possibly lead to… Tempest didn't notice it, which Xeno was thankful for, but she couldn't help but fantasize a bit, just as Tempest stopped, his expression turning serious. "What's wrong?" she asked.
"We're being followed…" Tempest said, "looks like some people just don't know when to stop."
Xeno narrowed her eyes at this, before the couple turned around, seeing a few men there with a menacing look on their faces…
"Wait, what did you say?!" asked Bulma in complete shock, even the other Z-Fighters were horrified by what Bulla was telling them as things had gotten much worse in Pan's Era than they originally thought.
"It's true… Gohan, Goten and even my older brother Trunks… They were killed…" began Bulla, coughing as she was struggling to hang on within an inch of her life but she didn't have much time left before she drew her last breath so she figured she may as well spend her last day on Earth with those she cared about. "Baby took their lives after he got angry at them for interfering in his fight against Uub…"
Hearing this, the Z-Fighters were more shocked than ever at the fact that Gohan, Goten and Trunks were killed by Baby and yet Pan never mentioned it before she died so she either never saw it or it pained her too much to reveal the fate of her friend, father and uncle from her era. "Great, first Buu killed us in that timeline and now Baby does so!" yelled Goten, slamming his fist into the ground in anger causing a bit of a tremor but he knew that his best friend would be devastated when he hears this.
With a slight nod, Bulla weakly confirmed it to be true and it gave Bulma a reason to hate Baby with a passion for what happened to her future daughter much like Gohan and Videl already do for Pan's fate. "Where's Trunks, is he here? What about daddy?" she spoke, coughing up a mouthful of blood which made Bulma even more concerned than ever.
"They're not here, Trunks is currently training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber" explained Bulma, keeping Bulla close to her and feeling tears forming in her eyes much like when she learned of Vegeta's death from Goku when the conflict with Majin Buu was taking place at the time. "As for Vegeta, we don't know where he is but I have a feeling he is training in an effort to achieve Super Saiyan 3."
Bulla on the other hand, remained silent as by this point there should be real peace for the time being before the whole mess with Baby had taken place but yet she sensed there was changes with the other Z-Fighters especially Goku, who she sees is still an adult as opposed to her timeline where he was reverted back into a kid due to the Black Star Dragonballs. "Still, something is different about you guys… To be honest… You're actually a lot stronger than you were when I was born…" she gave another weak smile, as she looked at Gohan, Videl, Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu, Piccolo, Mr. Buu and Goten because they weren't as strong in her timeline than they are here. "I take it that you've been training weren't you? Weird as I thought Goku was the only one still training ever since the evil Buu's defeat."
"Long story… but ever since Pan warned us about Baby before dying of her fatal injuries, we needed to be better prepared so history doesn't repeat itself…." said Videl, not wanting to remember when Pan died in her and Gohan's arms nor did the Half-Saiyan she fell in love with because it reminded them why they despised Baby. "Plus a lot has changed even before you and Pan came back in time…"
"Wait, what?" wondered Bulla in disbelief, especially before Gohan and Videl decided to explain the changes that occurred to their timeline starting with Bulma risking her life to save Videl's, how Super Buu absorbed Gotenks, Piccolo and Videl, how Gohan went ape-shit against Super Buu, how he then later allowed Super Buu to absorb him so he can save Goten, Trunks, Piccolo and Videl, how Goku and Vegeta assisted him in successfully saving them as well as Mr. Buu, how Tien, Chiaotzu, Zangya, Android 17, Android 16 and Shamano got involved, how everyone except Icarus got off of Earth before Kid Buu destroyed the planet, how Kid Buu killed Android 16 and Mr. Satan on the Sacred Kai Planet, how Goten's and Trunks' tails had grown back, how Videl had her potential unlocked by Old Kai and then helping Gohan in ending Kid Buu for good, how Pan came back in time to warn them about Baby's threat before dying, how Goten achieved SS2 afterwards and how they then went to New Namek to restore the Earth and its population except for the evil ones and then erase the memories of Majin Buu from everyone except the Z-Fighters. "I see…. I can't believe that she's gone…"
"It wasn't your fault, it was Baby who influenced you into becoming his slave…" reminded Shamano, even if there was no way to save Bulla from dying of her own fatal injuries let alone having been unable to prevent himself from losing an arm. "Besides, all things considered you could have done a lot worse."
"Even so, I feel like I can never make amends with her…" she choked, even though the unbearable pain was keeping her from moving anywhere let alone the fact she still felt her life dissipating from her entire body. "If only I had gone with her when she, Goku and my big brother left to gather the Black Star Dragonballs… In fact, if I had trained then maybe things would have turned out differently."
"Please, save your strength!" Bulma pleaded to her, knowing that it is going to kill her faster with the way she is acting and more so wished that Trunks and Vegeta were there to see it but another part of her didn't want them to because of how it would affect them. "You need help, please… Try to hang on for a bit longer!"
"I wish I could… However, I am not sure I can… I don't have much time left.."
Everyone else remained silent, more so as it pained them to have to re-experience the death of a loved one that they cannot bring back to life. "Don't say that, I don't want to face Trunks and tell him that his future sister suffered the same fate that my future niece did!" exclaimed Goten, trying his own best to see if he can help Bulla.
"Well there is nothing we can do, I mean Buu wasn't able to heal Pan when she was dying plus Porunga couldn't bring her back to life when he restored the Earth's population" added Shamano, knowing that it would hurt them even more but he needed to say his piece on the matter. "Unfortunately even if my ship wasn't so banged up, it would't be able to treat her on time either."
"Damn, all this because of Pilaf turning me back into a kid…" said Goku, cursing the fact that he was made much weaker in Pan's Era and it contributing to the end of the universe as they knew it with anyone still alive becoming Baby's obedient slave while Vegeta had to remain as the Tuffle parasite's permanent host. "If I can stay an adult and stop Pilaf from making that wish then maybe we may have a chance to stop our Baby."
"Yeah, but remember that Android 17 and Android 18 of our timeline was much stronger than the ones that Future Trunks had to deal with in his era even with our training dad," reminded Gohan, reflecting on how Android 17 and Android 18 easily defeated Piccolo, Vegeta, Future Trunks and Tien in battle without any effort but spared their lives. "Odds are the Baby of our era might become stronger as well than the one Pan and Bulla were mortally wounded by."
"Gohan is right." Videl said as Gohan brought her closer so that he could comfort her. "Besides we still have no idea what other changes could happen." she continued, knowing that they also needed to watch what they did.
"I agree I mean we still have no way to stop Baby from laying his eggs in our heads and now we all have a bigger reason to stop him as well." Gohan said as he looked at Bulma knowing full well what she was going through right now.
"Well I have good news there." Shamano told them as he showed them a vile that he took out from his pocket.
"What's that?" Chi-Chi asked as she looked at the gross purple thing in the vile.
"This is the egg that baby uses to make you all into Tuffles." Shamano said as he handed it to Gohan, so that he could rest a little since he was missing an arm still.
"How'd you even get it I mean you and even Pan said it's in our brains after all and the only..." Videl soon stopped what she was going to saying know what had happened and how he had got the egg in question.
"Yeah..." Shamano said, knowing he had to kill someone or he had to cut open their head in order to get it, and it was best that none of them asked how he got it or who from, as none of them wanted to know.
Everyone just back to Bulla who was coughing violently as they all looked back at the dying girl in front of them. "No Bulla hold on!" Bulma cried out looking at her daughter to be.
Tempest and Xeno stood their ground against the crooks whom approached them, evidently not scared… at least not yet. Xeno was initially more on edge, but seeing Tempest's own posture, the overall seriousness of his expression and the fact that he appeared relaxed at first glance made her feel reassured as well. Tempest on the other hand looked at the approaching crooks with a serious expression, sizing them up as the group stopped in front of them, the distance between them being only a few meters. He could see that some had already sported injuries, coupled with a few familiar faces from a previous encounter. "Well, well, if it ain't the two runts whom stopped us earlier…" One of the men said. "To think that normally the Great-Saiyaman was the only one capable of doing so but I guess we were wrong…"
"Now it's our turn." Another one said.
"Your turn for what? Another beating?" Tempest quipped, subconsciously stepping a bit closer to Xeno, whom herself remained silent.
"No, our turn to have some fun. And this time you will not be stopping us." The main leader said, brandishing a gun, while others had various melee weaponry, varying from brass knuckles to knives and even a crowbar.
"Well, it appears that you can't help stupid. You fools are in fact stupid." Tempest said.
"You dare insult us?!" One of the mooks asked.
"We dare, since apparently you do not have the brain capacity to understand when enough is enough, to learn from your mistakes, or to understand what you are doing now is a bad, really bad idea." Xeno then said.
"Okay, that's it; get them!" The leader said, after which the mooks went to attack…
Bulla just looked up to her mother as she gave her a smile knowing that this was meant to be she was just happy she could meet Pan in the afterlife. "Mom, please don't cry I'm just happy I get to see Pan and say sorry for what I did to her."
"But that was not you who did it." Bulma said to her future daughter knowing the guilt she must be feeling right now. "It was that monster Baby who did this to you."
Bulla gave another smile on her now pal face as she slowly reached her hand up to her mother's face and touched Bulma cheek and gave a weak smile. "I love you mom please tell Trunks and dad that as well." she said as she looked over to Gohan and Videl knowing that she had buried Pan someplace she was just not sure where. "Can you take me to where you put Pan, even I know I'm not going to make it and I told Shamano all I know and everything Planet the others went on while looking for the Black star Dragonballs."
Gohan and Videl just nodded at this knowing that she might want to say some parting words to her good friend. "You must have been good friends with Pan." Videl said as she gave a weak smile of her own to Bulla who nodded lightly.
"I was I just wish..." Bulla began as she coughed up some blood and looked over to Gohan and Videl. "I just wish it was more than Friends with her."
Hearing this, it made everyone present shocked by what Bulla meant more than friends with Pan as it was already bad enough that Vegeta died when he previously sacrificed himself to try and take Majin Buu with him, now she is going to bare witness her own daughter dying in front of her with no way to save the younger girl to boot… Much like Gohan and Videl did when Pan appeared before them on the Sacred Kai Planet following Kid Buu's defeat.
Both Gohan and Videl, remained silent as while they didn't like having to see anyone experiencing what they themselves had to witness… It was unavoidable as now Bulma is going through a similar event which showed that there were times where they would fail to protect those they truly cared about and they knew it'll also have a negative affect on Vegeta and Trunks when they find out about what is happening. "We'll take you to where Pan was buried, but we will need Shin's aid to get us there faster" she reassured the dying girl because it may take too long to get there via Instant Transmission as Piccolo and Gohan are planning to learn that technique should they ever lose Goku again.
Even Piccolo didn't know what to say, same with Goku or Chi-Chi. "Poor kid, still it wasn't her fault all that even happened to begin with." began Shamano, silently unsure of want to say without making it worse because now another member of the Z-Fighters' future family suffered because of Baby and by extension Pilaf for starting this mess.
Flashback
Shamano mentally cursed as his streak of bad luck… Not only was Baby this powerful with just Vegeta's body as his permanent host, he had no choice but to kill Neo-Tuffle Android 17 the moment he killed Neo-Tuffle Krillin right in front of his wife Neo-Tuffle Android 18 and Neo-Tuffle Marron which made him wonder what the hell caused 17 to go on a rampage since that wasn't part of Baby's plans at all. Then again, he feared for the fate of the Earth of Pan's Era as because Baby used them to wish back the Tuffle Planet in Earth's orbit and Baby is migrating everyone who had survived 17's rampage to the new planet.
However, he had Bulla on his spaceship in a mortally wounded state and he was fortunate that he had a means to restore her to her original state from Dende's Lookout but cursed at the fact that Baby destroyed it before he could use it on the rest of the planet and as he saw the Earth from the depths of space… He knew that he needed to speak with a friend of his concerning that foolish decision of his. "Piccolo, are you sure that staying on Earth is a good idea?" he mentally called out as a certain Namekian Warrior be befriended with in the Main Timeline who in this era has chosen to stay behind on the doomed planet. "Sure I am grateful in your help in getting me what I need and for bailing my ass when Baby nearly killed me but…"
"I know how you feel but there is no other alternative right now…" responded Piccolo, one of the only few to managed to avoid being infected by Baby and turned into a Neo-Tuffle as he knew that the Black Star Dragonballs will continue to exist as long as he is alive due to his fusion with Kami restoring those damned things to begin with. "The Black Star Balls are too dangerous, look it the damage it caused to the Earth… If I die, they'll turn to stone and this will never happen again."
"Dammit Piccolo, you can't die!"
"It's okay, I know now that it was meant to be this way…" remarked Piccolo with a somber expression on his face, especially as Baby has won but since Pan went back in time… Maybe there would be a chance to save the past in order to ensure a better future much like how Future Trunks coming back in time did so to prevent what happened to his era from happening to theirs. "Sometimes we have to look beyond what we want to do what's best."
Biting his lower lip, Shamano understood where Piccolo was getting however this wouldn't be the cause because now that his allies from the past have become aware of it then they're going to train hard so they can be more than ready to fight their Baby when the time comes even though that would change history but as Future Trunks once told Goku, some history should change. "I am well aware of that, but still… It is a stupid ass decision and I would like to protest on that" he said especially as while he lost an arm on his personal mission in this era, he did acquire something that would aid the past timeline Z-Fighters in their future battle. "Besides, that is not gonna hinder your Baby at all because he has what he wanted."
"Yes, I know…" added Piccolo, knowing it was the sad truth that they've failed to keep a villain from achieving their ultimate goal and had Goku not been turned back into a kid by the Black Star Dragonballs then he would have won much like how he killed Kid Buu with the Spirit Bomb on the Sacred Kai Planet. "However, since you are going to the past then perhaps that egg you extracted from one of Baby's victims would help prevent this disaster from ever taking place."
Shamano remained silent, praying that the Baby of the Main Timeline won't be as powerful as the one in this one… Unfortunately, the Baby whom the Z-Fighters of the Past will be facing might be more powerful than this version if Android 17 and Android 18 were stronger in both timelines as opposed to how they were in Future Trunks' timeline. "You know, if I see Gohan, Trunks, Goten, Krillin and Goku in Other World then I will tell them of my decision to take this path and perhaps to tell Gohan how much he has matured…" continued the Namekian Warrior, reflecting back to how Neo-Tuffle Gohan used his powerful Kamehameha to seemingly annihilate him in one blast… Though while he managed to survive it's he felt blood leaking out of his stomach and he didn't have much time before he met his end. "Goodbye… Shamano…
With his last words, he let out a scream as the Earth soon exploded from the negative effects of the Black Star Dragonballs and with it, the universe's last hope much to the shock of the male Trimonight. "DAMMIT!" he yelled, punching the wall of his ship with anger filling his entire body had Emperor Pilaf not attempted to steal the Black Star Dragonballs then things would have turned out a lot differently so he had another reason to help, by preventing the Pilaf Gang from doing so in the past but the downside is Baby needed to be defeated regardless which could mean trouble when he comes into the picture in the past.
The problem also came with the girl he had to bring onboard as his ship had been heavily damaged by Baby and her condition is beginning to worsen due to what the Tuffle parasite did when he saw that she had been freed from her control. "I am sorry kid, guess I have no choice but to bring you along for the ride…" he said to the blunette, not wanting her to suffer any further and the fact that the Senzu Beans were already destroyed along with the planet added to the problem. "Let's hope the others are doing well with their training."
End of Flashback
Bulla gave a smile as a sigh escaped her lips. "Thank you, I know it sounds odd but I loved her at least I think I loved her we may have been young but I always felt close to her."
Gohan and Videl just smiled now knowing who it was Pan wanted to tell her feeling too. "I'm sure she felt the same Bulla." Videl said with a smile on her face at the dying girl as she held onto Gohan's hand and gave a smile to him.
All Bulla did was give a smile as she soon closed her eyes, and they would be for the last time as well. Once this happened Bulma just cried as she pulled her now dead daughter close to her, knowing that she will not let Baby win in this timeline and become a slave to the monster.
Even Goku was angered seeing his best-friend heartbroken like this as he placed a hand on Bulma's shoulder. "Bulma I'm so sorry." he said as he saw the anger Bulma had not at him he knew who she was made at Baby the monster that had caused his family and friends so much pain and he hadn't even shown up yet.
With a sniff Bulma looked up to Goku. "Can we wait , I need to tell Vegeta and Trunks what's happened."
Later that day, Kibito Kai had arrived as Old Kai had told him what had happened and the fused Kai arrived as fast as he could as he knew that this was not good. "Sorry I'm late." Shin said with a frown as he looked down and saw Bulma hadn't let go of Bulla.
"Bulma..." Videl said as she looked at the older woman knowing the pain she was in right now "Shin is here." She said as they wanted to at least place Bulla with Pan as they knew it would not be easy doing it on Earth.
Bulma just nodded as she knew both Vegeta and Trunks should be here when they had to burry Bulla, and Bulma knew that neither Vegeta nor Trunks were going to like this at all. "I have to say I'm happy the Saiyans killed the Tuffles, I know it's wrong to say it but..."
"I know Bulma I mean we all thought they were victims." Goku said with a frown of his own at what the Tuffles had done.
"Well goes to show not every race are good." Zangya explained looking at everyone in the group. "I mean look at what we have been told this Baby wants revenge for his race and what was done to them, but look at what he did he attacked the Earth and made them all his slaves and is planning on doing so to every last living thing back in his timeline."
"Not to mention what they did to your people." Piccolo said as she looked over to Shamano as many Trimonight's had been killed by the Tuffles and even agreed with what Zangya said as well that no race was perfect.
"That's why we all have to make sure we are ready." Shamano said holding where his arm used to be. "And with that Egg Baby used on your future self's we might just have the fighting chance that we all need."
Bulma nodded as she looked at what the parasite would use in disgust. "Right once we have dealt with what's going on with Tapion I'll get to work on it."
"Okay, who exactly is Tapion?" asked Shamano, feeling that he missed out on a lot ever since the Z-Fighters started training for their eventually encounter with the present timeline Baby though he knew that he didn't have the heart to tell Gohan and Videl of what became to the alternate timeline's Earth let alone it's Piccolo choosing to die in an effort to prevent the Black Star Dragonballs from being used ever again as that would make things worse right now so instead he opted against doing so.
"Long story but we met this guy called Hoi whom we saved from killing himself for some reason we could never understand and he told us about how Tapion was sealed inside that Music Box he had with him" explained Videl still showing some distrust towards the mysterious red skinned man that is among the group and had a bad feeling there might be more to freeing Tapion than he's telling them. "Even Goku and Gohan couldn't open it despite their training so we had Shenron open it because we still had one good wish we never used."
"I see… is there any reason why you had to free Tapion?"
Shaking her head, as even she nor Gohan had all the details because of the fact Tapion didn't exactly look happy on being set free from the Music Box then took off sometime afterward before the others could stop him. "Well that was something Hoi never told us, plus when Tapion was set free… He wanted to be sealed back in right away" she replied, which amplified her distrust towards the old man in question. "That was where you came in with Bulla…"
"Great, well at least you guys have gotten much stronger in the time I was absent," responded Shamano, sensing the Z-Fighters one by one though he was a bit disappointed that 17, 18, Trunks and Vegeta weren't present with them as 17 and 18 were looking after Marron for Krillin when not training while Trunks is so far doing an entire year of rigorous training in one day inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and Vegeta, who knows where Vegeta might be but he is determined to achieve the Super Saiyan 3 state that Goku and Gotenks were able to acquire in an effort to not only catch up to his rival but also to make sure Baby regrets being born. "I take it that Goten is getting used to his Super Saiyan 2 state ever since first acquiring that form?"
"Yeah, he is and what shocked Erasa and I that he and Gohan had been training under 1000x normal gravity," added Videl, knowing that the two Half-Saiyans were insane to go that far with intense training since neither she nor her best friend would never survive it for even a single second because they were normal human beings, then again she almost got killed first against Broly and then again when she fought Spovovich at the 25th World Tournament. "They had Senzu Beans with them for when they seriously hurt themselves or each other in that training but..."
"Sounds like they wanted to get as powerful as possible… Even more so Gohan since he wants to make up for the fact that he never trained for 7 years following the Cell Games and the Zenkai boost they get for recovering from near fatal injuries does help a lot…" said Shamano, having a feeling that the two wanted to utilize the full extent of their Saiyan heritage but also started becoming more like Goku and Vegeta when it comes to intense training to become stronger which is not a bad thing since Goku does tend to want to become as strong as possible even during times of peace. "Ever since learning that in the alternate timeline that Pan and Bulla originated from, he got a lot weaker which added to him easily falling victim to Baby's abilities."
Videl remained silent, she gave a darkened glare the moment he brought up Baby as it wasn't enough that she and Gohan lost their future daughter because of that monster but now Bulma suffered the fate of losing her future daughter to that same parasite which added to their current hatred yet it also made Erasa concerned. "The good news is Gohan and Videl were able to balance training and school which helps a lot," she spoke for her raven-haired best friend, having her hand to her face. "I'm still trying to process everything I learned even now."
"That's good then, since Gohan did say he was going to finish High School before becoming a full warrior" commented Shamano as if regretting even bringing up Baby's name when around Gohan or Videl… Now he feels he may as well not do so with Bulma present either after things in the alternate timeline gotten far worse than when Pan first left to this timeline, mentally cursing at how stupid he himself can be at times for forgetting but then another thing came to his mind. "Do Goten and Trunks…"
"Still have their tails? Then yes, plus Trunks is currently doing a year of training in one day inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber at the moment since Piccolo already finished his training in it before he and Buu met to the rest of us with Shin," answered Videl, she and Erasa were still dumbfounded that Saiyans whether they were Pure-Blooded or Half-Blooded were born with monkey tails as neither of the girls even saw the tail on Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Goten or Trunks when they first met the male Saiyan Warriors until the younger Half-Saiyans somehow had their tails grow back when Goku, Vegeta and Gohan rescued them, Piccolo, Good Buu and Videl from inside Super Buu's body. "We decided against removing them even if we're risking the chance of them turning into Giant Apes at the sight of the full moon because they'll be training their tails similar to how Goku did in his childhood so they won't succumb to the weakness that Saiyans usually have when their tails are grabbed…"
While Shamano didn't like the idea of Goten and Trunks keeping their tails, he had no say against it because he noticed that the alternate timeline Goten and Trunks had no tails nor did Bulla or Pan before the two girls in question died from their fatal injuries… On the other hand, he never saw what Future Trunks looked like due to never being in the timeline that he originated from. "Oh and it seems that my boyfriend and his little brother decided to give training together in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber a try, saying that it would help them in mastering Super Saiyan 2 so it would feel natural." the raven-haired girl continued with a sigh.
"Wait, master Super Saiyan 2?"
"Yes, that is what I just said… Because when he and Goku first trained in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber in preparation for facing Cell, they not only trained together but also allowed Gohan to achieve the normal Super Saiyan form and to think I once called that state the Gold Fighter when we first met," Videl replied, thinking back to when she first saw Gohan fighting the criminals while in his Super Saiyan form as at the time she didn't know he's not all human until the events with 25th World Tournament and Majin Buu threatening the universe, including the Earth which was the first to fall victim to his destructive power. "His dad was the one that came up with a plan to make the two of them turning into a Super Saiyan feel natural by staying as a Super Saiyan for the whole day so it starts to feel normal. I assume that Gohan and Goten will try to stay in their respective Super Saiyan 2 forms for a day inside the Time Chamber when they begin their training in it, who knows maybe Goku might give it a try when he goes in there to train with Mr. Buu after Gohan and Goten have their turn."
All of a sudden, Shamano saw a shadowed silhouette speeding passed the two but it moved so fast that he didn't get a proper glimpse of whatever it is which made Videl a bit concerned for the male Trimonight more than ever as it's bad enough that he lost one of his own arms when he went to Pan's era. "What's up?" she asked him, getting his attention again and a frown formed on his face because despite the shadowed appearance, there seemed to be something familiar about it.
"It's nothing, I thought I saw something that's all…" he replied, he didn't like the idea of lying to the younger girl but the Z-Fighters had enough to worry about as Bulla's death along with the introduction of Hoi and this Tapion. It couldn't have been Android 17, last I checked I killed the one in Pan's Era… Plus I am pretty sure that the Android 17 of our timeline wouldn't try and avoid us since he is just as involved in preparing for Baby as we are. A pity that we can't sense Androids otherwise it would make finding whoever it was easier.
In all of this Hoi had slipped away from what was going on yet he had a frown on his face by all this not liking what he had heard, he knew that he needed to act fast if he wanted Hirudegarn to be whole once more.
Yet Hoi disappearance didn't go unnoticed as Videl noticed that the old man was gone. "Where did the old man go?" She thought with a frown on her face as she was a little worried on what he was planning. "I better talk to Gohan about this later."
For right now however they would need to tend to Bulla and wait for Vegeta and Trunks to both show up as Videl, Erasa and Gohan knew neither were going to take this well, Chi-chi was doing what she could as well to help Bulma.
Later, Goku was the first one to feel both Vegeta and Trunks heading towards them as all the Z-Fighter were ready and waiting to tell them what had happened now that Trunks has finished an entire year of training in one day by himself which they could tell by the fact that his hair was now long, reaching his shoulders, due to a year of having to cut it himself inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber plus he now donned what appears to be an later wears clothing identical to his father's from the conflict with the Androids, Cell, the Big Gete Star on New Namek, Bojack and even the first battle against Broly on New Vegeta: a blue skin-tight jumpsuit with a Battle Armor, white boots with yellow tips, and white glove, and Goku knew Vegeta was going to be very pissed.
"Hey mom, dad and I have gotten a lot stronger so..." Trunks just stopped as he noticed his mother and could tell she had been crying, and it made him wonder why she had been crying. "Mom what's going on?" he asked as he began to walk over to Bulma and saw her eyes were red.
The only answer she gave of that moment with a sniff trying her best to fight back any fresh tears that may come forth. Once Vegeta had landed he saw his wife was crying and the looks that they all had on their faces which made him wonder what had happened while he was off training with his son. "What going on now, did that fool get himself killed?" He said as he noticed Shamano's ship.
"No Vegeta, he came back but lost an arm, it's a lot worse than you think." Goku said to his rival knowing he should be the one to at least tell him what happened to his future daughter.
"He didn't come back alone Vegeta he brought someone with him." Piccolo said cutting in as he looked at the Saiyan prince with his arms crossed over his chest.
Trunks too was starting to wonder what was going as he saw how Goten was acting around him and was unsure why had had a bad feeling on what was going to be said. "Look he came back here with a girl Vegeta… your daughter, and just like with Pan it seems she too was dying." Goku began as Vegeta and Trunks were shocked at what they had just heard.
"From what we were told he wanted to see if he could use his advance technology to remove the eggs and it worked with Bulla but it seems that baby was ready for him and he was not happy with what he did to Bulla." Gohan said knowing it was best that he helped his father tell them what they had been told.
"I'm sorry Vegeta there was not a lot we could do, she asked to be brought here so she could see us and say goodbye." Goku added as he looked at Trunks who was not happy to hear what he had just learned either. "To make matters worse, Pan's Era has gotten from bad to worse because as it turns out Gohan, Goten and Trunks of that Era were killed by Baby himself when he got angry at them interfering... while the Android 17 of that timeline was killed by Shamano himself after seeing that timeline's Krillin being killed in front of him."
Needless to say, he was starting to understand how Goten felt when he had to witness Pan's death and now his own future sister had died all because of that damned Tuffle Parasite, the same kind of rage that triggered Goten's transformation into a Super Saiyan 2 for the first time back on the Sacred Kai Planet, while Vegeta's anger started to build up as well. "Damn it… First that parasite steals my alternate timeline counter's body and now both my son and daughter of that timeline are dead?!" he could barely contain his rage, especially as he is starting to feel the same way he did when he saw Future Trunks killed right in front of the Z-Fighters when Cell returned to Earth as Super Perfect Cell.
"Unfortunately… That is not the only thing that happened, as you already know even when the Black Star Dragonballs are used on the same planet that they were used on the first time… It doesn't reset the countdown at all so in other words the Earth of that era ended up exploding in the end…" began Shamano, becoming the next one to speak up because it is another thing that he had to tell the others as it could be painful but necessary. "Needless to say for anyone who wasn't present when I revealed it the first time, that timeline's Piccolo died in the explosion because he chose to stay on the dying Earth while everyone else was transferred to the newly restored Tuffle Planet… Piccolo knew that as long as he lived, the Black Star Dragonballs will still be around so he chose to die in order to ensure they be turned to stone."
Everyone present was even more shocked at least those who were not aware of this before when it was revealed, Piccolo included, upon hearing the alternate timeline Piccolo perishing in the destruction of the Earth and it made the others wonder if there is a way to turn their timeline's Black Star Dragonballs to stone without their Piccolo dying as that's something they needed to deal with too. "Dammit…" muttered Goku, mentally cursing Baby with every fiber of his own body while punching the nearest wall and blamed himself for what happened in the alternate timeline. "If only I had known that Pilaf was using the Black Star Dragonballs…"
"Dad, it isn't your fault… Besides you never knew about the Black Star Dragonballs until it was too late" reassured Gohan, even though he too had another reason to hate Baby than ever before which was the reason he decided to rethink what he wanted in life and not to shun training altogether as his alternate timeline counterpart did which cost him everything. "Even that timeline's Dende and Mr. Popo knew they were there at the time."
Remaining silent, Goku understood where his son was getting at and more so because they still had 15 years to train themselves before they were ready for their Baby… Hopefully by then he, Gohan and Goten would not only be able to make turning SS2 feel natural via their training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber but also SS3 since it was their best bet at surviving this time around. "I hope Baby is ready because after what he did to my future sister, he's going to regret the day he was born!" lashed Trunks, clenching one of his hands in anger but he did achieve something out of his year of training in one day inside the Hyperbolic Time Chamber as he wanted to show his friends and family. "Especially as I have some new tricks up my sleeve!"
"Huh?" wondered Goten, glancing at his best friend as he had a feeling he achieved a higher level of Super Saiyan and hoped that it is the Super Saiyan 2 form that he himself ended up tapping into because of his anguish and rage over what became of Pan. "What is it?"
"Well you'll see… In fact stand back!" answered Trunks, which everyone backed up a bit and once they were far enough… He powered himself up, transforming into his Super Saiyan state then a grin formed on his face as whole it doesn't look like that different, he knew that his planned surprise for Baby will be something worth using. "Yes I know it is my regular Super Saiyan form but it is gonna get much stronger, maybe even on par with Goten's Super Saiyan 2 form."
With that said, he started to power himself up even further… Causing his muscles to swell, making his body several sizes larger than normal, and his power and speed were elevated beyond his previous Super Saiyan limits while his flowing, golden hair became slightly more rigid and paled in color. Even the aura surrounding his body increased in size and became more jagged, accompanied by bio-electrical discharge during transformation. "Well what do you think? Pretty sweet huh?" he asked them as they were surprised to see that Trunks achieved what Gohan, Goku, Krillin and Vegeta immediately recognized as the form that Goku, Vegeta and Future Trunks achieved from their respective first time using the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, however that is not where he is going to end this at all. "Now here is something I will use if this isn't enough to stop our Baby."
Before the others could say anything, Trunks started to further increase his own Power Level even further and in the process his skin became slightly redder due to increased blood flow, his muscles started to swell even larger than in his previous state, his hair also became spikier and larger, and his power grew immensely. The aura around his body no longer flowed upward, but flailed outward, with surges of bio-electricity becoming more frequent and prominent. "There, that should do it!" he spoke, confident that he was much stronger than ever and grinned as he wanted to use his new states in a real battle soon while the others could tell he was now similar in appearance to Broly's Legendary Super Saiyan form. "Let's see Baby try to possess me or harm my sister when I go all out on his butt!"
"Well… You definitely gotten a lot stronger since you did that training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber by yourself without worrying about the door being destroyed again but I heard from my dad and Gohan that while your newly acquired forms, known as Super Saiyan 2nd Grade and Super Saiyan 3rd Grade as a way to tell them apart from Super Saiyan 2, are powerful which they are now that I got to see it for myself…" said Goten, scratching the back of his head as he needed to tell Trunks before he decided to really use those new forms in battles which would prove disastrous if it were a life or death situation. They come at a price, even more so the current form you're in since the heavily increased muscle-mass comes at a cost of reduced speed and mobility, and because of the massive energy required to maintain this form, it is not sustainable for long periods of time, which could ultimately put you in a life-threatening disadvantage."
This in turn caused Trunks' expression to change from confidence to shock at the fact that he didn't realize the risks that his 3rd Grade state had until just now. "Oh man, now you tell me?!" he asked, starting to feel like a complete moron for having just realized it now but at least he didn't find out during a real battle otherwise he would have been killed because of his cockiness combined with the Super Saiyan 3rd Grade's lack of speed. "Well there is still the chance my 2nd Grade state could help since it wouldn't have that kind of problem right?"
"Well I think we all best keep training and work out why Hoi wanted us to help him." Gohan said after Trunks powered down back to his normal state, knowing Videl still felt uneasy on the old man that they had saved.
"We should also find Tapion as well and ask him his side of the story too as he might know more than us." Videl added as she gave a smile knowing that it would be good to know what was going on and get info on Hoi.
Trunks began to wonder who they were talking about as he looked over towards Goten for some answers to who Tapion was. "Oh yeah you missed it." Goten said with a smile as he began to tell Trunks what had happened and just how cool Tapion was. "And I know just where he went as well."
With another smile to two younger half Saiyans quickly took off into the air to head in the direction that Tapion had gone with both smiling at meeting him. "But wait Trunks…." Bulma said seeing that he needed his hair cut but knew that would need to wait till he got back at least.
As they were flying there Goten was sure to look over to Trunks hoping that he would be alright with what had just happened. "Trunks are you alright knowing what's happened?" Goten asked with a frown on his face.
Trunks however just gave a deep sigh as he looked at Goten. "Not really I thought that if we did this training we could stop Baby with no trouble but knowing what he has done to us my family and yours I'm not happy about it."
"Well Trunks we will all try to make sure that we all make sure that this will not happen." Goten said as he gave his friend a reassuring smile knowing that they will stop this from happening the future will be changed and for the better they hope as well. "Besides, Gohan and I are gonna be training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber soon now that you finished your training."
Remaining silent, Trunks understood where Goten was getting at and knew that he needed to tell his best friend something concerning the Time Chamber since it is really helping them become stronger faster than normally and secretly, he is jealous that even after all that training… He felt that Goten is still stronger than him ever since achieving that Super Saiyan 2 transformation six months ago which in a way made him jealous too. "To be honest, I am hoping to get another shot at the Hyperbolic Time Chamber later once you two are done your turn" he spoke with a serious expression on his face, hoping that he would be able to make himself stronger due to becoming aware of the risks that his newly achieved 2nd Grade and 3rd Grade states had, mainly the latter. "How did your training with Gohan under 1000x Gravity go?"
"It went pretty good, I am getting the hang of it especially with the Super Saiyan 2 state" responded Goten, thinking back to his intense training with Gohan and both were in their SS2 forms as they wanted to make the most of training together by pushing themselves to new limits…. Hopefully it'll be enough for them to be better prepared for the Tuffle Parasite they would be fighting against. "By the way, where did you get the battle armor?"
"Oh that?" wondered a somewhat surprised Trunks, realizing he forgotten to mention where and when he got his new outfit but now that his first real time training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber has been completed he can tell the raven-haired young man. "My mom made it seven and a half years ago, she told me my dad wore it for the Android conflict and the events with Cell… She even made it for my future self and for your dad and Gohan as it turned out."
"Wow, that's pretty cool!" commented Goten, somewhat surprised to hear this yet is glad to see Trunks wearing something different for a change which could be useful in the future, provided that nothing else goes wrong during the preparations and considered telling the purple-haired boy about his first meeting Valese at the park earlier too.
Before the two knew it, they had reached the area that as both heard some music being played and Goten and Trunks looked at each other as they moved in closer to hear it and who was playing it as well.
Once they had both reach where the music was coming from Goten and Trunks noticed it was Tapion who was playing the music. Yet Tapion noticed that he had been followed and was also being watched as well, so he got out his sword ready to deal with who was watching him.
"Come on out whoever you are slowly." Tapion said with his sword still at the ready on who it might be.
A/Ns: Well here you go, and about time I got this chapter finished especially as I had always planned to have Trunks and Tapion meet as per the canonical movie. Yes I did make references to the events from previous movies beforehand (mainly the Dead Zone and its sequel the Garlic Jr Saga, Cooler's Revenge, the Return of Cooler, Broly the Legendary Super Saiyan, Bojack Unbound and even Broly Second Coming because these are the only ones that I feel could fit without contradicting the events of the canonical series too much) but I always liked how they were done so I figured yeah why not include elements from the movies into the story in order to help make it more interesting.
Also looking forward to eventually getting to the next part of the events, maybe even show Gohan and Goten training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber as who knows what could happen due to the changes in history? Anyway I hope you guys will enjoy it, I would again like to thank thedarkpokemaster and Martian Tempest in their aid in getting it ready as I'll be sure to update it very soon.
