Then, just as Naruto was about to unleash his jutsu, a huge amount of smoke exploded into being in the Kage box.

Konoha Wall
"They're coming!" Shouted the Anbu member Kaeru, prompting about fifty Konoha shinobi to come out of hiding, shocking the approaching Suna and Oto forces.
"NOW!" Shouted Ibiki, as he and three others placed their hands in the tiger seal, causing the dozens of exploding tags placed outside the wall to go off, killing around seventy enemy nins.
"Damn, you leaf shinobi are brutal." Commented Zabuza, who had arrived shortly after his conversation with Naruto.
"You mean, we leaf shinobi, Zabuza." Said Ibiki lazily, getting a sigh out of the demon.
"Yeah, yeah. Now when do we get to have a little fun?" Questioned the demon, only for a gigantic plum of smoke to explode into being, a giant three headed snake appearing from within.
"That fun enough for you?" Questioned the interrogator, as the snake made it's way towards the wall.
"Sir, there is an enemy force trying to flank us on each side, as well as a much larger force following the snake." announced one of the Anbu there who happened to be a sensor.
"Kaeru, take your squad, Zabuza, Mio, Etsuko, and Goro, and take the enemies to the east. Kamome, Perican, you and your squads take the enemies to the west!"
"Aren't eight of us a little too few?" asked Zabuza, a nod from Ibiki being his response.
"Yes, yes it is, but I can't send any more than that. Don't worry, I'll send you guys some backup soon, you just have to hold them off."
Grunting in disbelief, Zabuza nonetheless did as ordered, jumping away with his new comrades in pursuit of the smaller enemy force.
Arena
Startled by the smoke and explosions, Naruto didn't immediately notice the fact that Temari and Kankuro had jumped down into the arena, standing next to Gaara.
"What are you two doing?" Demanded Hayate, as he drew his sword, and alerting Naruto to their presence.
"Sorry, but we gotta go!" Shouted Kankuro, as the three of them leapt out of the arena. But, when Hayate tried to go after them, he was stopped by the three's sensei, Baki, a man with the traditional Suna attire, a turban, and a cloth covering half of his face.
"Naruto, go after them. Don't let them get away!" Demanded Hayate, as he began fighting Baki.
"Hai!" Shouted Naruto, as he jumped off to do as he was told.
"Foolish, no one can beat Gaara, not even I can do as such!" Shouted Baki, as he charged Hayate with a kunai.
Forgoing any further conversation, Hayate quickly made several clones, before disappearing in a burst of speed. The two clones then circled around to the left and right of the Suna-nin, prompting Baki to destroy them both, before looking around for the real one. Looking left, right, and behind, Baki finally looked up, just as Hayate was bringing down his blade.
"Konoha-Ryū Mikazuki no Mai (Leaf style: dance of the crescent moon)?" Shouted Baki in surprise, as Hayate's Katana began to slice through his opponent's shoulder, only to suddenly stop.
"Well, you leaf shinobi certainly are talented, for you to have mastered such a technique at such a young age." Baki told the young Tokubetsu Jonin, grabbing the blade with his left hand, and extending the pointer and middle fingers of the other "A brilliant swing, but an actual blade can be stopped. But, a blade of wind can be stopped by no one." Finished the Suna shinobi, before he made an arc with his right hand, firing off a Kaze no yaiba justu (Wind sword technique), only to miss as Hayate was tackled away by a man with spiky dark hair, and red sunglasses.
"You dumbass! Why didn't you just let go of the sword?" He shouted, standing back up to face Baki.
"Aoba?" Questioned Hayate.
"Less talking, more fighting!" Shouted the now identified Aoba, as they all blurred into motion, reflecting the chaos around them.
With The Kages
"What on earth is going on here, Kazekage-dono?" Shouted Mei as she, Hiruzen, and the Kazekage stood on the roof of one of the arena's pavilions.
"I would think that it'd be painfully obvious to someone like you, Mizukage-dono. This is a full-scale invasion of Konoha by Oto and Suna." Drawled the green dressed man as he held a kunai to the third hokage's throat.
"For Suna to betray Konoha..." Began Hiruzen, only to be interrupted by his captor.
"An alliance is only useful as camouflage to make the enemy relax his guard. The stupid fighting games end here, from this point on...history will change, Sarutobi-sensei." drawled the Kazekage again, getting a momentary look of surprise from the people there.
"So you've finally taken off that mask, Orochimaru." Stated Hiruzen, earning him a slightly shocked look from the Kazekage, before he reached up with his free hand, and tore off his face, revealing the snake sannin.
"Well done, sensei. I would ask as to how you knew it was me, but you're about to die anyways."
With Naruto
As he was pursuing the three Suna genin, Naruto was forced to dodge several traps, as well as take down several enemies. Finally, as he got to a clearing, he saw a massive amount of corpses. Pausing for a moment to examine them, he noticed that not one of them was a Konoha shinobi, as well as the fact that they all had massive blunt force trauma. Briefly wondering who could have done such a thing (since Gai and Lee were both at the stadium), he shook it off, focusing only on continuing the mission given to him.
Finally, after about three minutes of tree jumping, he was stopped by a very large fireball, which he dodged by ducking behind a tree.
"Give it up, Oto scum! You're not getting past me!" Shouted a familiar voice, one that Naruto instantly recognized.
"Oi, Ero-sanin! I know you don't like that nickname, but killing me is uncalled for!" Shouted the blonde, getting an indignant outburst from his sensei.
"Damn it brat, stop calling me that!" Shouted the white haired man, as he jumped onto the same branch that Naruto was on. "So gaki, what are you doing all the way out here?"
"I'm following Gaara as I was ordered to." Answered Naruto truthfully, the sannin sighing and rubbing the bridge of his nose.
"That wasn't supposed to happen. Look gaki, I'm just a Kage bunshin (Shadow clone). The real me is already following the three of them, and will be making sure that the Ichibi doesn't get out. Now, I need you to go back to the village, and help out. Make sure to take out any summon creatures you can, and help as many people as possible. With your chakra stores, you should be able to do something like that easily." Stated the Jiraiya clone, Naruto nodding in acceptance and disappearing in a swirl of leaves.
Kages
At this point, Mei and Hiruzen were busy fighting for their lives against the first and second hokages. After Orochimaru had revealed himself, his guards, who also turned out to be Oto shinobi, had surrounded the three of them and created a barrier, blocking everyone from entering or exiting, as shown when one of the Anbu was set ablaze when he accidentally ran into it. Inside said barrier, after a quick battle, in which Orochimaru was losing due to having two kage level shinobi as opponents, he quickly tried to summon three coffins, one of which was unsuccessful. In response to this, Sarutobi summoned monkey king Enma, sho then transformed into a long black staff with golden ends. As the three of them were fighting, Orochimaru had apparently decided to simply hang back to allow his zombie cohorts to do their stuff.
"Hokage-dono, how are we supposed to win if they keep regenerating?" Shouted Mei, as she once again melted the second hokage with a glob of lava.
'If only Hokage-dono wasn't here, I could just pump this little box with acid and be done with this.'
"Don't worry, Mizukage-dono, we have a plan." Shouted Hiruzen to the woman, as he fended off his teacher with his staff.
"Oh, Sarutobi-sensei, you make me laugh. A plan? If it's just the two of you, how could you ever plan something, but I'll humor you. Let's kick this up a notch, eh?" Remarked Orochimaru dryly as suddenly the first hokage jumped away from his battle with Hiruzen, and put his hands in the snake seal.
Recognizing what was about to happen, the aged man quickly shouted for Mei to stop him, but it was too late, as suddenly a massive amount of trees burst forth from the roof, making it impossible to see either in or out.
"What's going on?" Shouted one of the Anbu, his captain, the Anbu in the white cloak, answering him.
"It is our first Hokage's most feared and lauded ability; the Mokuton (Wood release). With it, he can create entire forests to decimate enemy forces in mere seconds. It was only due to this ability that he was able to defeat Uchiha Madara and the Kyubi."
"How does one defend against such a thing?" wondered the awed Anbu, getting a terrifying answer from his superior.
"You don't."
Naruto
Jumping through the village, Naruto quickly saw several places where he would be able to help. Making several clones, he gave them each their own orders and a small vial of his blood, three to the hospital, three to the academy, and three to the gate. Seeing that there was a giant snake rampaging through the city, Naruto bit his finger and went through the necessary hand signs, before placing his hand on the ground and shouting, Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Summoning technique)!" When the massive cloud of smoke cleared, it revealed a large magenta toad with black markings on his body, a black kimono with a white sash, a sake-cup shaped shield, and a sasumata.
"What do you need from this clumsy one, Jiraiya-sama?" Enquired the toad, before looking around and seeing the destruction.
"Sorry, Toad-san, but I'm not ero-sannin." Responed the blond standing on his head.
"Ah, then you must be our new summoner. Boss is rather upset that he hasn't met you yet, so you should probably do so soon." Responded the giant toad, earning him a nod from Naruto.
"Alright, but for now, I need you to take care of any summon creatures that you see, as well as any Suna and Oto shinobi." Naruto told him, as he jumped off.
"My name is Gamaken, and though I am ungraceful, I shall try my best!" Shouted the toad, vaulting away to do battle with the snake.
Kages
"Thank you, Hokage-dono." Panted Mei, as she and Hiruzen stood within a box seemingly made of several dozen staves.
"Do not mention it, Mizukage-sama." Said one of them, an eye appearing upon it and staring at her.
'Well that's more than just a little bit disturbing.' Thought Mei to herself, as most of their barrier disappeared, the aged Kage catching the only one remaining.
Zabuza
"Where the hell is my backup!" Shouted Zabuza to himself, as he cut down one shinobi after another, the four Anbu that had been with him lying dead at the hands of the unexpectedly heavy opposition, he himself riddled with a few kunai and shuriken.
"Kill him, he's just one man!" Shouted one of the Oto shinobi, as they all grouped up upon him.
Jumping off one of the tree trunks, Zabuza quickly spun around in mid-air, temporarily upside down, and sliced the heads off of several enemies, their lifeless bodies dropping to the ground with sprays of blood.
"Oh yeah, I haven't had this much fun in ages! Come to me you trash! Come and meet your maker!" Announced the demon, as he started trading blows with an agile Suna kunoichi.
As he would strike, the woman would simply move enough to barely dodge the attack, before viciously counterattacking, which Zabuza mostly blocked.
'Damn, this little girl is too fast for me to hit. I might have to do something drastic.' thought the ex-kiri shinobi to himself.
While trading blows with the woman, every now and then he would also be forced to cut down another of her comrades, taking his concentration off of her, which she took devastating advantage of. Soon, Zabuza was riddled with injuries, mostly small cuts, but also a rather large but shallow gash on his left thigh, so he decided that it was now or never.
Renewing his offense, Zabuza quickly started to overwhelm the woman; Dodge, left swing, parry, downward chop, left kick, right knee, pommel to the face, clockwise spinning chop to clear the area, all the while ignoring the kunai and shuriken that riddled his body.
Finally, Zabuza managed to knock the kunoichi's weapon out of her hands, leaving her momentarily defenseless; but before he could capitalize on that, the kunoichi reached up her shirt, pulled out a kunai, and got much too close for Zabuza to effectively swing Kubikiribocho, and stabbed him in the stomach.
Temporarily letting go of his zanbato, Zabuza then grabbed the woman in what might be considered a hug, before squeezing and squeezing, driving the kunai that was still in his stomach further in, until a resounding snap resounded throughout the clearing, his opponent's spine having been broken.
Dropping the woman unceremoniously on the ground, the demon incarnate ripped the kunai out of his stomach, picked up his blade, and asked is awed audience, "Who's next?"
Suddenly, hearing the 'poof' sound that usually came with a summoning, Zabuza turned around just in time to block the downward swing of a set of steel covered claws belonging to a ten-foot-tall, armor-clad bear.
"Well that's interesting, I haven't met anyone who could block my attack before." Commented the bear, earning him a grin from his opponent.
"You haven't met me before!" Shouted Zabuza, as he again focused on his opponent.
Suddenly, as one of the Oto shinobi got too close, the bear swung a backhand at him, completely removing the man's head from his shoulders in a shower of viscera.
"What the hell did you do that for Gadokuma?" Shouted one of the Suna jonin who was probably the bears summoner.
"He's mine!" Shouted the now identified Gadokuma, an exasperated sigh making itself known from his summoner as he leaned against a tree.
Turning back to the fight, Gadokuma was forced to quickly raise his arm to block Zabuza's blade, which had been brought down in a vicious ark.
"Not bad, little man, but we're just getting started."
With the only opponent busy, most of the invaders took the opportunity to run past him, hoping to finally get into the village to cause some mayhem, only for a group of eight more Anbu to surprise them with a plethora of elemental jutsu.
Back with Zabuza, he and Gadokuma were deadlocked, the bear holding off a thrust from the demon's sword, as they each tried to push the other back in a violent contest of strength, until Zabuza, using chakra to strengthen his limbs, quickly turned his blade so that the sharp side was facing up, and levered it up, forcing the bear's arms away from his body, and swinging Kubikiribocho full circle, running the blade through the Gadokuma's body before he had a chance to defend himself.
"Well...that certainly hurts." Gritted out Zabuza's opponent, as he dispelled himself in order to heal.
Stumbling to his feet, the bear's summoner quickly attempted to contact another one, only to be killed by a kunai to the forehead, courtesy of Zabuza.
After that, the former Kiri-nin placed his hands in the ram symbol, spitting out several globs of water, heavily damaging, if not killing all those that were hit.
'Damn, I'm running out of chakra.' he thought, as strange markings started to cover five of the people with Oto hitai-ate's.
Seeing this, Zabuza quickly ran over and decapitated one of them, stopping them before they were able to do anything. Seeing this, the last four each pulled out a separate weapon, one had an odachi, one a scythe, one a bladed whip, and the last a spear.
"Let's do this!" Shouted Zabuza, his vision swimming from the blood loss.
'If this battle doesn't end soon, I'm not going to make it!' he though to himself, as he hefted Kubikiribocho charging at the Oto Shinobi with the spear. As he got closer, the rather skinny man tried to stab at him with his spear, only for Zabuza to catch it within the circle on his blade. Twisting Kubikiribocho, the spear was wrenched out of the enemy's hands, and in a dexterous display, Zabuza quickly grabbed it, and shoved it through the odachi wielder's brain.
However, as he did this, the scythe wielder, a rather attractive kunoichi, took a swing at him, managing to hit his left bicep, completely disabling that arm.
Then, placing his right hand like he was about to play a trumpet, he quickly fired off a Suiton: mizurappa (Water release: water trumpet) at the kunoichi, cutting her in half at the stomach with the high pressure stream. Then, blocking the odachi the spear wielder had picked up, Zabuza kicked, and broke, his opponent's knee, before decapitating him with his giant blade.
Dodging the skilled swing of the whip, he stomped upon the whip, forcing the other shinobi to let go of it and jump back, as Zabuza followed with a kunai in his right hand, him being unable to hold up his enormous sword any longer.
As the other man was weaving in and out of Zabuza's attacks, he picked up the Odachi like his now deceased comrade, and tried to defend himself, only to fail against Zabuza's almost disturbing prowess with a blade. But just as the ex-Kiri shinobi was about to deliver the finishing blow, his arm was almost completely torn off as the bladed whip wrapped around it below the elbow.
Looking back, it was revealed to be the Kunoichi he had cut in half with his jutsu, screwing him over in one last act of defiance. Turning back to his last living oponent, his condition caused him to be caught off guard, allowing the shinobi to slash across his neck with a kunai, cutting off his bandages in the process.
Snarling, Zabuza lurched forward and buried his teeth in his oponent's throat, ignoring the heinous screeching, simply biting down harder and harder, until his teeth met in the middle and the man fell down dead.
Falling to one knee, Zabuza was caught by one of the new Anbu members, who slowly lowered him to the ground, before placing their greeen glowing hands on his chest.
'Damn it I'm exhausted. This'll be one hell of a story one day. "The legend of Zabuza"! I like it. Argh, FUCK! I'm not gonna make it am I? At least I got some happiness out of my last few months. Well Mei, it looks like you're getting your sword back early.'
Thus did Zabuza, former shinobi of Mizu, wielder of the Kubikiribocho, member of the Shinobigatana Shichinin Shu, demon of the hidden mist, die; taking with him fifty-three Suna chunin, twenty Suna Jonin, sixty-two Oto genin, seventy-eight Oto chunin, twelve Oto jonin, and one summon beast.

Wall
"Damn it, there's too many of them! Fall back!" Shouted Ibiki, staring as the enemy poured in through the hole the three headed snake summon had made.
Just then, in a blur of green and, the Naruto clones arrived with a group of thirty Anbu and Jonin close behind (2), asking, "What's the situation?"
"What the hell are you doing here, genin?" demanded an irate Ibiki, surprised that the Anbu hadn't told him to get lost.
"Ero-sannin ordered me to assist in the war effort. The three of us are just clones. What are your orders, Ibiki-san?" Shouted Naruto, everyone waiting expectantly for his answer.
"To hell with it! One of you summon as many toads as you can, don't make them too large, or else they'll hinder our attacks, the other two provide long range support! The rest of you, three groups, one for close range attacks, one for long range jutsu, and one for projectiles. MOVE!"
"Hai, Ibiki-san!" Shouted everyone, the one Naruto only managing to summon two horse sized toads, both of whom looked like their brother Gamatsuba (3), just different colors. The two other Naruto's creating small earthen walls for everyone to hide behind, then firing off jutsu after jutsu until they were dispelled.
Arena
Naruto was not the only leaf genin who was fighting that day. Lee, Tenten, and Neji, being the well oiled team that had existed for over a year, were quickly decimating the opposition, Naruto's seals on Neji's chakra having long since disappeared. Ino and Sakura however were currently knocked out by the Genjutsu. Kiba, Hinata, and Shikamaru were following Naruto, only to be turned back by the same Jiraiya clone. Shino was with his father, and Choji was also asleep. Sasuke however was still unconcious in the infirmary with Kenji, allowing a someone to kill both the guards and the nurse, and inject a black fluid into Sasuke's neck, causing three tomoe to appear on his neck like a reflection of the boy's Sharingan.
Academy
Upon arriving, the three Naruto's realized that there was nothing to really do, as everybody had already been evacuated at the begining of the invason. Realizing this, they all decided to dispell to let the others know that everything was fine there.
Hospital
Joining in the chaos nearby, the three Naruto's made quick work of anyone in their way with one of them being dispelled along the way, before coming up to Shizune, who ordered the two left to use their fuinjutsu to aid the medics.
Kages
"Mei-san, have you noticed? When they're fatally damaged, they don't move again until they're healed!" Shouted Hiruzen, as he caved in the first hokage's head again.
"Now that you mention it, yes, I have! That means that one of us has to keep killing them while the other goes for Orochimaru!"
'Well that's interesting, I suppose that I'm going to have to fix that little flaw when I leave this place.' thought the snake man to himself, as he got ready for whichever one of them tried to attack him.
"Mei-san, get ready!" shouted Hiruzen, making a shadow clone, much to the confusion of everyone there, before the now two old men began an intricate dance of staff maneuvers, driving the two undead kages towards each other, which they failed to notice due to their current status as mindless killing machines. Mei, understanding his intent, quickly went through several hand signs, focusing for her most powerful Yoton attack. However, just as she was about to unleash it, she was forced to abandon that idea as Orochimaru tried to hack at her with his Kusanagi.
Jiraiya
'Sensei, I really hope you're okay.' thought Jiraiya to himself, as he sat on Gaara's gourd, the jinchuriki and his siblings unconcious and tied up a few feet away, before making aother clone and jumping away, hoping to be of more help in the war effort.
City
"Where the hell is everyone?" Shouted the leader of a Suna squadron as they ran in and out of houses in order to kill as many as possible, only to not once come across a civilian.
"Maybe they got word of the invasion beforehand." Suggested one of his underlings, a contemplative look appearing on the leaders face.
"I don't really see as to how, but I suppose that it is quite possible, but if that were true, then where did they go?"
"Perhapse they're-"
BOOM
Interrupting the lackey, the explosion was large enough to completely destroy a building, in which, about ten of the Suna force were searching.
"Holy shit! Captain, they got Soyokaze and Hariken!" Shouted One of the man's other subordinates, to which he demanded an explanation.
"Captain, the whole building must have been rigged with explosive notes, but there's not going to be any evidence left!" Shouted the one who had informed the captain
"These leaf shinobi are nuts! They sacrificed an entire building just to kill ten of us! Alright you maggots, be careful from now on!"
"Hai, captain!"
Naruto
Arriving in his clan's district, he found most of his new family cowering in the mddle of a group of Oto shinobi, a bruised Ryu being held by his wife, while several more stood over a bleeding Karin, with several more ransacking the buildings within the compound.
"YOU FUCKERS!" screamed Naruto as he charged the Oto shinobi. Upon reaching the first one, he aimed a punch for the man's stomach, his knuckles tearing open and his blood pouring out of them, ripping out the Oto shinobi's in a second. Startled and disturbed by the his death, everyone present could only stare as the blood swirled around him like a small black hurricane.
"Close your eyes." He said in a chilling voice, most of the Uzumaki's doing just that, before Naruto willed his blood to tear through the Oto shinobi.
Walking forward, Naruto would create giant arms out of the blood, tearing holes though the enemy, blood spears that would pierce them, giving him more to work with, some he would wrap the blood around their necks, snapping them in an instant, all the while simply crushing the rest.
As he tore his way through his compound, he delved deeper and deeper into his own personal darkness, his vision blacking out, until he was in a seudo berserker state, his curse mark activating at some point as well.
Eventually, he came to, kneeling in the middle of the street, surrounded by two squads of Anbu.
"It's alright, Naruto-san. They're all dead now." Stated one whose mask looked like a rat.
Looking around, Naruto blached as he noticed the dozens of corpses surrounding them, the gigantic pool of black liquid on the ground, and all of his family but one shaking in terror, their eyes closed and their hands on their ears. Only Ryu was looking at him. Staring at Naruto for a few seconds without any emotion in his gaze, Ryu then gave Naruto a single nod, before closing his eyes to rest.
Watching Naruto, the Anbu waited for a few seconds, before four of them left, leaving the other four to make sure that there were no survivors.
Pulling out one of his scrolls, Naruto quickly sealed all the new blood away, before he suddenly remembered that Karin had been injured. Fearing the worst, Naruto made his way over to her, checking her vital signs, only to realize that she wouldn't make it without help.
Pulling out several sheets of paper, he began to draw on each and every one of them, placing them on her body and activating them. Hands glowing from how much chakra he was pumping into his tags, Naruto was sweating due to his heavy usage of chakra, knowing that he was going to feel this day for a while.
Suddenly, he realized that while she was still bleeding, her blood was black!
Panicking that he had inadvertantly killed her, Naruto immediately picked her up bridal style, ignoring the rather loud protests of his body, and made his way to the hospital.
Kages
Eventually catching both of the undead within a Yoton jutsu, Mei stood over them, every now and then melting them with another, as the student and the master once again dueled to the death.
"You've gotten old, Sarutobi-sensei." Drawled Orochimaru, as he traded sword swing for staff.
"I may be old, but I can still put you in your place!" Shouted Hiruzen passionately, as he counted off in his head the beginning of the plan.
Eventually, his age catching up to him, Orochimaru was able to cut off Hiruzen's left arm at the shoulder. "Now!" Shouted Hiruzen, confusing both his ally and his oponent, before Tsunade suddenly burst onto the scene. Index and Middle fingers glowing, she thrust them into the back of the snake Sannin's neck, a scream coming from his throat as they penetrated almost an inch into his spine, before he broke out of his restraints, immesurable pain wracking his body.
"YOU! What did you decrepit old fools do to me!" Screamed the snake, fighting off his desire to simply curl into a ball.
"That's a special jutsu I developed. It specifically targets the chakra network, slowly shutting it down. In two weeks you won't even be able to use chakra, in three, you'll be dead." Tsunade answered him, only for the pale man to chuckle and open his mouth regurgitating another him, healing all of his wounds.
This plan failed however, as he was still wracked by the pain.
"How, how is this possible!" he screeched, before whiping his head up, and shouting, "Retreat, fall back!"
The barrier going down, his guards came in, the largest picking up his master, before the five of them started making their way out of the village.
One of Orochimaru's guards was a little too slow however, and was captured and pinned down by Tsunade.
All across the village, the invading forces were fleeing or dead, and Konoha had won the day.
But at what cost?

Now, before you say that the two kages wouldn't have disintegrated without Orochimaru releasing the jutsu, or them being sealed, let me just say that Orochimaru had three years to perfect the jutsu, as well as Kabuto's fine-tuning, and shut up.

Am I the only one who likes the manga's katana version of Orochimaru's Kusanagi more than the anime's jian version of it?
