"You've only got fifteen minutes to live!" Lightning yelled while pointing at my arm. He was terrified, as I was as well. I bit my lower lip trembling, I didn't want to show any fear, fear was proving how weak you were, and I surely wasn't. But something had come over me, possibly the toxins in this mine?
"Well, so do you!" My voice was shakey and while I pointed at Lightning with a worried look. He started to freak out much more than I was, almost falling to his knees and grabbing his head.
"No! This ain't right! I've never kissed a super bowl ring!" Lightning slid his hand to cover his eyes getting glassy.
"And I've never kissed a guy." My voice was breaking as I looked at the ground, while Lightning looked at me awkwardly then saying something I was about me being a guy, which I obviously wasn't. But for some reason I was really hoping to kiss someone. You know when you get to that age when you're 16, never dated, or have kissed someone? That's how I felt. But I was hoping that a certain boy to fall out of the sky, just like he does in the most silly situations. Like this morning when Zoey and Dakota had forced me to do my hair and make up he slipped up behind me and saw all this make up and my hair in curls, he stuttered a bit and slowly walked away.
But hearing him getting closer and closer was what really got to me. I just knew it was him, the way he ran and was huffing was quite adorable, if I must say so myself, which is something I would never say out loud. But he was such an idiot, so naive and silly, always going on with his annoying cadet rules. But hearing him, it made me feel alright, like everything would be alright, I knew it would with him around. But I couldn't show that, he was one of my biggest rivals, little red head Zoey was to tiny to win, and bubble boy? Don't get me started on that twerp, he was a joke in this competition, why was he even here? It didn't make sense. Brick just made my heart do little jumps, like an out of tune giraffe trying to dance, see! He even made my thoughts weird, and invaded my dreams. I didn't know what it was, most guys where so dopey and looked for a girl like Dakota, pretty, mini, blonde, beautiful, fun to be around, Dakota was perfect.
When Brick came up behind Lightening and I, I smiled a sympathetically. He gave me a tight, squeezing hug, but it made me jittery like I drank to much coffee. As much as I did like his hug, I didn't want to seem out of the ordinary, so pushed him off me "Freak boy." I mumbled, just loud enough so he could hear. Lightening eyed the two. "Lets go win this challenge!" Jo called out, running with Lightening and Brick.
Blahhhh. This was so weird, and I don't even know why I did this, but they were so adorable and cute. They NEED TO BE TOGETHER! They need to just get inside eachother and do stuff. Sorry. This is NOT one of those fanfics. It's suitable, and polite, not naughty nor dirty. ;)
THANK YOU! Review if you like? It would be much appreciated. 3
