Chapter 11
Rimuru was waiting before the village's gate. After the battle, he ordered his troop to rest while the leaders stayed with him. He immediately sent a letter to Gazel and now they were waiting for his arrival.
The captured orcs were guarded in their prison for now while the remaining leaders of the orcs were guarded directly by Shuiro and Shion in the government reunion room.
"Nervous, huh," asked Naruto next to him? Rimuru nodded.
"Yes, after all, I will present an alliance of monsters to our allies. An alliance that won a battle that was considered suicidal," he said. He heard Treyni giggling who is behind Naruto.
"Fret not, Rimuru-sama. It will be no more than a reunion with Gazel-sama like last time. You will just present a new ally to him," she said. Rimuru nodded.
"Yes, but I'm still concerned about how the other countries will react. While we are allied to Dwargon, they are still a hub of artisans. So the news of our battle will one day be heard by others and some will react badly," he said to her. Naruto sighed.
"This is what it means to be a leader, Rimuru. Making decisions for the better of your people which have consequences for the future. For now, focus. He will arrive in two minutes," he said. Rimuru nodded to him but sweatdropped at what Naruto-sama just did.
"I forget you have telescopic eyes, Naruto-sama," he said. Abirai turned to them.
"Telescopic eyes," he asked? Rigurd chuckled.
"Yes, he can see through anything. Distances and obstacles mean nothing for those eyes," he said. Shishibushi nodded.
"There is no hiding for evil from him. Even his nemesis, from dimension away, couldn't hide from him," he said. Naruto nodded.
"Yet, it took me two hundred years to find him. I need to manually search something to find it," he said. Abirai now understands. But what a terrifying and godly ability it is. The scheming of the kingdom couldn't be hidden from him. Yet, Naruto-sama can't act directly on them even if evil is realized before his eyes. He wondered how he reacted to the Eastern Empire. He couldn't ponder long as he heard pegasi landing in front of them. And he can guess the king was the one in the front.
Rimuru walked toward Gazel as the king dismounted his steed.
"Good day to you, Gazel. I hope your journey was effortless," Rimuru said, presenting his hand.
"Same to you, Rimuru. And yes, there was no problem on our path," Gazel said, shaking Rimuru's hand. He then turned to Naruto. "A good day to you too, Naruto-sama," he bowed to the god. Naruto nodded to the king.
"Same to you, Gazel. From my perspective, I see you become to Nature," he said. Gazel straightened up and smiled.
"Of course. I noticed my Sage training was lacking, so I resolve this problem," he said. Naruto returned his smile.
"I see. Then I will see the strength you gain when you will duel against Shishibushi," he said. Gazel nodded.
"I promised you this will not be a disappointment," he said, making Naruto chuckle softly.
After their greeting, Rimuru led Gazel to the meeting room. During their travel, Abirai presented to Gazel who do the same, and discussed together to learn about the other leader.
When the group of leaders arrived, they were greeted by Benimaru, Shion, Shuiro, Shuna, and the captured orcs who took more place in the room, even though they sat on benches against the wall. While they received heavy harm to their army, the remaining orcs' number went up to one thousand five hundred. And they all looked down.
When Naruto entered the room, he was guided to a black zabuton with his star symbol, seeing the flinches of the orcs and their cold sweat. The table was replaced with a smaller one in height, to adapt it to the new sitting which is a zabuton with different symbols representing each leader. Naruto's zabuton was situated at one end, and Rimuru was on his right, followed by Shishibushi and Gazel. On his left were Rigurd, Ranga, and Abirai. While the orcs surrounded them, Geld's son could be seen on the other end of the table. Shion and Treyni placed themselves behind Rimuru whiled Shuna and Shuiro do the same with Naruto. All leaders had their own two guards behind them.
"Now that everyone is here, I declare this divine tribunal open," Naruto said, sitting in seiza. All leaders were in the same position as a form of respect for him. He turned to Rimuru. "Rimuru, if you would." The slime nodded before turning to the other.
"Followed leaders, we're here to observe the judgment of Oame-no-genten-no-kami-sama, we're here to report the evidence and proof against the orcs and/or for the orcs, we're here to end a war," he said. Everyone nodded, listening carefully. Rimuru cleared his throat. "When I ate Geld, I found myself for a moment in a desert with Geld. But he was in his old form, before his evolution to Orc Lord." Everyone looked confused, but Gazel got an idea.
"A desert you said. It could be the Orcish Kingdom of Orbic, situated next to the Great Forest of Jura. But why did they travel to the forest," he asked? A question everyone pondered now, murmur could be heard. Rimuru cleared his throat to get everyone's attention. When he got it, he continued.
"The reason was because of famine. Their home couldn't grow plants and water pools were few. Foods and water were so sparse that desperation installed itself. Gelmund used this weakness for his plans," he explained. Everyone looked surprised and the victims of the orcs' attacks were angered.
"All genocide attempt was just for food," said Shishibushi, narrowing his eyes.
"What barbarism. They should have asked, we could have found some food to sparse," said Abirai. Rigurd nodded.
"I agree. Our village is not missing food for a long time thanks to Naruto-sama's protection," he said. Gazel sighed at that.
"Yes, thanks to Naruto-sama. They don't have this advantage. Plus, the orcs are known for their reproductive abilities. Their tribe is bigger than this whole village. Are you able to give enough food to them," he asked? Everyone pondered heavily. If they didn't give food, the orcs' attack will begin again. Rimuru turned to Naruto.
"Naruto-sama, is it possible," he let the question float? Everyone turned to him, waiting for his answer. Naruto sighed at that.
"You're lucky the Dryads decided to give me so much offering," he said. Everyone smiled in hope. "BUT," now everyone tensed, wondering what the catch was. "While there will be enough food for a month for them, they must grow their own food after this time. Plus, ten percent of their products will be given to the victims and they will be workers for this village. The place for their new farms will be next to the river," he said. Everyone nodded. It was a fair way for the orcs to repent, working for their former enemies.
"Wait," said someone. They turned to the voice and saw Geld's son. He walked toward Naruto and the leaders narrowed their eyes. Rimuru was ready to intercept but he was stopped by Naruto. Geld's son kneeled. "It is too nice to be true. Please take my life, so my kins would be spared of their sins," he said. The orcs were surprised and were ready to stop him.
"Denied," Naruto said, turning to the orc. Geld's son widened his eyes, despair falling on him again. "Your sacrifice will be unsatisfied to me. Your kins will not learn this lesson and history will repeat itself. No, they will work for this village as repentance." Geld's son couldn't believe his ear. He looked up to see if this was true.
"Really," he asked, hoping to not be a dream? Naruto raised an eyebrow in amusement.
"Really. I'm no evil being, I'm a benevolent one. However, do not think of relaxing. I will not accept slackness in your tribe," he said seriously in the end. Geld's son broke in sobbing, his head touching the floor, and thanked the god over and over. The orcs kneeled too and do the same. Naruto sighed and turned to Rimuru.
"Rimuru, after this meeting, I let you take care of them," he said. Rimuru nodded.
"Of course. They will be named and led to the river for their work. I will make sure the Dryads' food will be delivered to them," he said. Naruto nodded before turning to Treyny.
"As for the Dryads and Truants, they and their territories are now under my protection," he said. Treyny glowed for a moment and without the group's knowledge, the other Dryads, the Truants, and their territories did the same. Treyny bowed to him.
"It is an honor. We will not disappoint you," she said. Naruto nodded and turned to the rest.
"Are there no more subjects you want to talk about," he said. Gazel raised his hand.
"It is about my knights. My elite received the new ether swords that were distributed to us. After explaining their origin and the witness of your presence, they would like to show their prowess to you and bear and transmit your values in battle. Others trained even more for receiving a sword," he said. Yes, morality was high in his kingdom. His warriors trained like possessed people after witnessing the power of the ether swords. "She is right. Today, this village harbors four races of monsters and is allied with three others, the Dryads, the Truants, and the Lizards. It will grow too big to be considered a village and to be hidden. People will come and be interested in his location as the Great Forest of Jura is the road that many try to exploit. If you announce it as a new country, merchants will come and with them, your village will prosper thanks to the money they will bring. Plus, our exchange will be official and easier to do. And finally, Naruto-sama's presence will spray further," said Gazel. Everyone got the idea and agreed with it.
"Yes, as the one who links all of us and is the champion of Oame-no-genten-no-kami-sama, I propose he becomes the chancellor of it," said Treyny. Rimuru turned to her, mouth opened.

"Before you give a name to this village, I will name the forest to give protection to all the forest," he said. Rimuru was surprised as everyone.
"Could you…" tried to ask Rimuru but was stopped by Naruto.

"Now, the new name of the Great Forest of Jura is Saintly Forest of Unity." Everyone averted their eyes, except Naruto, as a bright ball lifted from Naruto before flying through the ceiling. They waited a moment before they opened their eyes and at the same time, a flash happened outside, which could be seen through the window. When the flash disappeared, the leaders could see how vibrant the green trees were, how healthy the trees were, and then the feelings from them. Those who are sensors could sense ether flowing in the area. But magicules were still present.

The leaders' eyes widen. [Voice of the world] answered accordingly. And they were shocked by what they heard. Well, more because of the end.

"Too costly? I find it hard to be for Demon Lord," said Rigurd. Gazel nodded but he had a reason to think like that.
"Then think about it. The status of True Demon Lord is only given to those who are around a lot of death. If it is the [Voice of the world] who give the evolution to those monsters then logically it is the word who gave permission to be one," he explained. The other leaders nodded, following for now. "Now, to name a monster, you will need magicules and the namer must be the stronger one, or else it will not work or the namer will die." The other leaders narrowed their eyes wondering where Gazel was going. But Shishibushi got an idea.
"Don't tell me…" he began to say but he was answered by Gazel who nodded.
"Yes, even if it is a part, you will try to name the world because the world gives permission to evolution," said Gazel…
"The world itself is stronger than the Demon Lord, meaning they can't use Naming System on areas," finished Shishibushi for him who he nodded. It was a terrible revelation. They turned to Naruto.
"Then," begin Rigurd but couldn't finish his sentence. But Shuiro nodded for him.
"Yes, this is the power of a True God. You saw why the rules are important for them," she said. The leaders winced, agreeing with her. The truth was terrifying. Naruto-sama was careful around them. It was like walking on a floor of glass for him. If he acts, the floor risk breaking. And the glass was simply the world. They couldn't help but shiver at that notion.
"Well, for the area of gaining skills, I have an idea," said Abirai turning to the window. The others looked at him. "When I feel the forest, I sense a will. It is like the forest gained sentience." The others widen their eyes in surprise. But Rimuru then shook his head, smiling at Naruto.
"Only you, Naruto-sama," he said, making Naruto chuckle softly.
"Now, you know the truth and learn with powers come responsibility," he said.
"Meaning, taking care of the world but letting it autonomic," said Rigurd. Naruto nodded to him.
"Yes, it is more complex than that, but a good example will be like a parent looking at his children," he said. The leaders nodded. They understood now. Gods are primordially the creators or watchers. They made sure everything was in order for the worlds. When Veldanava was still around, it was said he created the system known as [Voice of the World] to manage this order. And they have the confirmation.
"Well, maybe it is best to come back on track," said Rimuru. The others nodded, waiting for Rimuru's answer. Which name will he choose for the new country? "Thanks to Naruto-sama, I have a name. It will be the United Tempest Federation," he said.
"United Tempest Federation," asked Shishibushi?
"Yes, it is thanks to our unison that we win the war and I hope we stay unified like that. Each race will put his work forward. The orcs will be farmers and builders, The lizards will bring fish, the ogres will be our securities, the goblins will create clothes, and the Dryads will bring fruits and seeds. Those are examples but if you have ideas, I'm listening," he said. The leaders pondered for a moment, brewing Rimuru's idea until Shishibushi nodded.
"I accept this name. It is true only together we prevail in this war. As for ideas, I have none for now," he said. Abirai nodded.
"Yes, this is a magnificent name showing our values and morals," he said.
"I am with you, Rimuru-sama," said Rigurd. A smiling Gazel nodded.
"It is a proud name for a proud country. I am happy to be your ally, Rimuru," he said. Rimuru turned and nodded to him.
"As I am, Gazel," he said, smiling. He then turned back to the rest. "Well, if there are other subjects you wish to discuss." He wait but nobody answered. "Alright, this meeting is adjourned. The orcs will be led to the river." The leaders stood up, ready to leave. Shishibushi turned to one of his guards.
"Natsumi, I let you take care of the orcs," he said. She nodded.
"Yes, sir." He nodded and let her walk toward the orcs before leaving. Rigurd returned to the other Goblins Lord to announce the news while Abirai was ready to return to the Marchlands. Gazel approached Rimuru.
"I will come back in two or three days with a gift. I will engage my duel too with Shishibushi," he said. Rimuru nodded and wondered what gift he was talking about.
"I see. It is honorable of you to let him rest first. I will give him the news," he said. Gazel nodded, accepting the compliment.
"Shuna," said Naruto. She turned to him and got the slime's and king's attention. "Make sure nothing is scheduled this day. I will be the judge of this duel." Gazel likes what he heard. She nodded.
"I will, Naruto-sama. If you follow me," she said, leading him back to the shrine.
"Naruto-sama," said Treyny. Naruto stopped and turned to her. "I will come back with my sisters. We will be ready to move nearer to the village. Thanks to you, I'm sure the Truants will be able to move through the Forest's will." Naruto nodded.
"I will wait then," he said before continuing to follow Shuna. Treyny fazes through the floor disappearing.
"Rimuru-sama, this way," said Shion. Rimuru let her lead him.
"Rimuru, I will wait for you at the shrine," said Shuiro before disappearing in flames.
"Alright," he said to himself. Gazel has waited for the other leaders before following their example.
'Well, the coming days will interesting and lively,' he thought, smiling before he frowned. 'I just hope it stays like there. But knowing Falmuth, they will not appreciate this new country. They lost after all their advantage.' His eyes darkened then. 'And if they…' he shook his head to remove the thought. He will be patient and observe how the next event will happen. And he shouldn't worry too much. If Falmuth's greed will go too far, the wrath of a god will fall on them. For now, he has an announcement to do to his council and prayers too.
