So we have reached the climax of the first arc of this crossover.
I am honestly amazed how many people jumped on board with this story.
From the get go, this story was a gamble. I really only had like a small idea as to how it would progress and all and I'm really happy to say I'm proud of this gem and am eternally grateful that all of you loved what I made

So yeah, this is the confrontation of Saren for those of you who have played the game or couldn't tell with the authors note here.
Once I go through this I have free reign to do whatever I want that would fit in the narrative of this crossover. So that means more villains, more heroes and more hoo ha and all that jazz

And one more thing. The pairing. Trust me when I say this, it's not the easiest thing staying true to the pairing that I have chosen on hand. Like for real, the arguments I get in regards to Peter pairing up with either Liara or Tali, dude it is fucking hair pulling when they are that valid. Sure I could feel it like it was forced, but I wanted to make it different rather than predictable…..

Along Came A Spider Chapter 15: Confrontations and revelations
On the Citadel, it was complete and utter chaos.
Civilians were being evacuated as fast as possible whilst C-sec and other military groups fought off the Geth and Reaper husks.
But it was proving to be rather difficult as they just didn't seem to stop.
In the air, the Citadel fleet wasn't having that much easier as for e very enemy ship that was destroyed, two friendly's went with it.
But that would be taken care of later.
Within the Citadel was the Conduit which had a guard of some Geth and several Husks idly standing by.
The only sound that was heard was the sound of gunfire and war of in the distance.
Of course that all changed when the conduit spiked in activity, alerting the Geth Guards.
The Geth expected Shepard and his crew to come through.
What they did not expect was a Mako being shout out like a cannon ball, crushing them in the process.
The Mako flipped around before it stopped by crashing into a wall.
It sat there for a few moments when Spider-man super punched his way out, groaning in the process.
He jumped out and everyone else pulled and crawled themselves out of the Mako.
"Alright" Garrus moaned "that's it"
The Turian looked to Shepard
"Shepard, as of now by the decree of the Normandy Councils board of directors" Garrus said "Your driving privileges are officially revoked"
"Spectre status bitch" Shepard shot back
"Overruled" the Normandy crew said in unison as they all stood up, taking in their surroundings
"We're at the Citadel" Liara said in amazement
"Then that means we could finish the job" Shepard said resolutely
"And it starts now ' Spider-man said as his Spider-sense caused his enhanced reflexes to kick in
The Web-Head performed a spinning kick to two Reaper husks that wildly charged at them.
"Weapons free" Shepard yelled out, pulling out his rifle.
The entire team fired upon a row of husks, making quick work of them.
"Let's move" Shepard declared and everyone ran to the elevator.
All except one.
Spider-man stood out, looking out to the Citadel. He grit his teeth in frustration. Every fiber in his being was screaming to get out there and save the people that were currently unable to evacuate from the chaos.
Something he felt all too often whenever he and the Avengers were in the middle of a grand battle with an enemy that required their undivided attention. Even then they tried to save people.
But right now, he knew that in order for him to save anyone, Saren must be stopped. And it had to be done as a team.
"Peter"
Spider-man blinked under his helmet and mask at the sound of Garrus's voice.
"Peter, we have to go" Garrus said to his friend
Spider-man shook his head
"Yeah, let's go"
Meanwhile, the space battle outside was going on one sided.
While most of the enemy ships were occupied, Sovereign himself was coming in right at the Citadel, undeterred by the multiple engagements around it.
The Citadel was attempting to close itself off to deny access for sovereign with the aid of the Turian warships to hold it back but it was all for naught as the Reaper merely slammed through the ships with ease.
The reaper descended on high into the Citadel just as it closed itself off.
It flew right at the Citadel tower, perching itself on it like it was a piece of a puzzle.
Saren, in the meantime, had taken control of the Citadel.
The elevator in which the Normandy team currently rode in, screeched to an abrupt halt
"Looks like we're going to have to do it the old fashioned way" Shepard remarked "Get your helmets on people, we've got to keep moving. Peter, you're on point"
"Roger that" Spider-man said as Shepard fired his rifle, allowing them all to get out of the elevator.
Since they were in space technically, there was zero gravity.
That was a small nuance as everyone had gravity gear of sorts allowing them to stick to the walls of the Citadel.
Peter had his wall crawling abilities though.
So he naturally began jumping high, and using his webs to keep him close to the ground.
"Don't get to far off Pete" Garrus advised "Best we stick together on this one"
"Just enjoying the view G" Peter joked, swaying in the air holding onto a web line attached to Citadel
Of course the view ended when another elevator stopped and out came Geth
"Party time" Wrex exclaimed, charging headfirst at the Geth.
The Krogan rammed a Geth right in the head, effectively killing it.
"Party time?" Kaidan asked the Krogan, using his biotics to make several Geth float away aimlessly "That's what you came up with"
"It's better than half the crap Spider-man says" Wrex rebutted
"I HEARD THAT" Spider-man exclaimed as he axe kicked a Geth
"Do not let up on your assault" Shepard said, firing his biotics
"Krogans incoming" Ashley said aloud
"I got 'em" Spider-man declared, pulling himself towards them with a web line.
Spider-man pounced on one and with his symbiotic webbing, encased an entire Krogan in a web cocoon which then floated away aimlessly with the Krogan struggling inside.
"Ok…." Garrus said, staring at the floating Krogan "That is somewhat disturbing"
"Yeah" Tali shuddered "That kinda freaked me out more than the Rachni did"
"Now is not the time to be freaked out people" Shepard said to the team, taking down a group of Geth
The team fought in near perfect synchronization as they plowed their way through waves of Geth blocking their path.
"Geez what is this, a videogame?" Spider-man said in frustration, bashing in the head of a Geth
"Well it does feel like the finale of a game" Kaidan said "The last boss, Saren the rogue Spectre of the Citadel"
"Great for a headliner" Shepard admitted, before gaining a roguish, intentionally shit eating grin "Commander Spectre, savior of the Citadel"
"Yeah, don't get your head to far up your ass skipper" Ashley remarked "You wouldn't have been able to do anything without us"
"I can't deny that Shepard" Liara said with a teasing smirk "Whatever would you do without us"
"Whatever the hell I want" Shepard shot back playfully "Spectre status"
"Didn't we just revoke your drivers license?" Garrus reminded "Right, exactly"
"Oh just shut up and shoot" Shepard said
"Easier said than done" Spider-man said, jumping up into the air, floating momentarily before firing another line to keep himself attached to the Citadel "All I could do is get up close to immobilize them. And I can't do it that fast"
"Don't you have something in that suit of yours?" Garrus asked "I mean I know I helped you a bit but weren't you and Tali working on that suit for a while?"
Realization and the feeling of stupidity dawned on the vigilante.
"God I am such a moron sometimes" Spider-man said, holding up his hand.
On the palm of his hand was a certain glowing circle.
"Thank you Tony Stark" Spider-man said with glee, firing a repulsor beam from his hand that tore through several Geth
Everyone stopped what they were doing to stare at Web Head, bug eyed and slack jawed.
"What….What was that?!" Ashley yelled in complete disbelief
"Wow, that had a lot more kick than I expected" Spider-man said, looking at his hand appreciatively "Gotta learn to monitor the power"
"OI, DUMBASS" Garrus shouted, running over to him. He grabbed his shoulders and began shaking him like crazy even in zero-g "WHEN DID YOU GET THAT?! WHEN CAN I GET ONE?!"
"Eh, take it easy man" Spider-man managed to get some space from his buddy
"Are you kidding me?!" Now Shepard joined "You are making me one as soon as this is over with"
"I know it would work in theory, but even I can't believe it would work this well" Tali said "When did you finish?"
"Literally just before Ilos" Spider-man said "I've been busy you could say"
"Yeah you could say that again" Shepard said
"This is amazing" Liara said, wide eyed still in awe "Imagine the possibilities"
"BEHIND YOU" Spider-man suddenly shouted, firing another repulsor beam, only this one flung him back
The beam hit a Krogan, sending it careening away.
"Ok, that's to cool" Kaidan said "I'm really REALLY jealous right now"
"Can we just get back to stopping Saren" Peter said exasperatedly "Seriously, am I gonna have to take charge"
"You are showing us everything once this mission is done" Shepard said, pointing a finger at Peter for emphasis.
"Alright whatever" Spider-man said
And once more, the Normandy crew pressed on, fighting back Geth and Krogan alike, even taking down a Geth dropship along the way thanks to Spider-man literally going in there himself to dismantle from the inside.
"Ok it's official" Shepard begrudgingly but jokingly stated "You are the official badass of the team"
"Because I'm SpiderWHOA" Spider-man ducked under a shot
"Yeah, boast about it later, smartass" Shepard said smartly
"I will web you into a cocoon' Spider-man murmured under his breath
"My god, it just doesn't end" Kaidan said in annoyance
"Don't let up the assault, LT" Ashley said, though it was obvious that she was just as irritated
"Saren must have brought his entire force here" Liara surmised
"Boy this guy just really wants to bring about the end of all life, doesn't he" Garrus grumbled
"He's a stereotypical megalomaniacal egomaniacal B-list villain" Spider-man said "They're a dime a dozen"
"You would know, wouldn't you?" Garrus asked
"Excuse me, who single handedly took on crime in the Citadel and fought off the Shocker" Spider-man said triumphantly "Exactly, I thought so"
"Oh my god, would you too shut up and keep firing" Wrex groaned in annoyance "You're like an old married couple"
"Whatever you say Grandpa" Garrus and Peter said at the same time
Wrex blanked out momentarily
"Grandpa?" Wrex growled out"
"Save it for later" Shepard said, shooting a Krogan right in the head
Once more they continued on with the fighting, soon coming across one long open area.
And of course.
"Juggernauts, Warlord, shock troopers, oh my" Spider-man whimsically said "Hey I just realized, where are we exactly?"
"We're on the Citadel tower" Liara answered
"Huh" Spider-man said crouching down as bullets sailed over him "Can't believe I didn't recognize the place. I've been swinging around here for months"
"Now is not the time for memories Peter" Garrus said a little bit peeved, killing a Krogan with extreme precision
"Oh, I recognize this spot" Spider-man said slyly "This is the spot I webbed you up and left you here for a few hours"
"That…is extremely evil" Tali commented
"Shut up" Garrus murmured, moving up to a better position
"Shield posts up ahead" Kaidan said
"Spider-man, you're up" Shepard said
"Ok, let's test this out" Spider-man flexed his hands before firing his repulsor beams, launching right at the enemy
"WHAA, I REALLY SHOULD HAVE TESTED THESE OUT" Spider-man exclaimed, bending his body in unimaginable ways to avoid the gunfire.
"Ok that last twist actually kinda hurt" Spider-man said as he landed on a Geth juggernaut, blasting it's head off with a blast from his hands.
"Alright, I'll admit" Spider-man shuddered, then did a Matrix dodge "That felt a little over excessive and violent"
"Who cares, we have got the fate of the galaxy to worry about" Wrex roared, head butting a Krogan down, killing it with several shots to the body.
The crew rounded a corner and saw a hatch
"There's our entrance" Shepard said, the team running right up to it.
Opening the hatch, they dropped down into the entrance of the Council tower.
"Looks like Gravity here is normal" Spider-man said, jumping up and down at a normal rate "Then you know what that means"
"Then go" Shepard said
Without another word, Spider-man leapt into the air, web swinging towards the council meeting hall.
Of course he was met with resistance in the form of Geth crawlers.
"Perfect, I could take Saren out and settle the lawsuit of who gets to wall crawl" Spider-man declared, using his suit thrusters to enhance his speed.
He crashed into the wall, taking out several Geth crawlers.
Peter shot out two web lines to snag two Crawlers, flicking them down to the ground.
The wall crawler back flipped, landing in front of the main meeting area and was joined by Shepard and the rest of the gang just as Saren disappeared from view.
With guns and hands out, everyone was tense and ready.
Saren suddenly came out on some kind of hover board, tossing several grenades at them.
Spider-man managed to grab two out of the air and swing them back at Saren, but failed to get one, resulting in the grenade blowing up in his face, sending him back
"PETER" The team shouted in horror, Garrus and Tali running to his side while the rest stayed in their cover.
"I'm so glad you all made it here" Saren said condescendingly "Especially you Shepard. You and I both knew that this was going to happen. I was afraid you weren't going to make it in time"
"In time for what?" Shepard asked rhetorically "ME to kick your sorry ass into next week?"
"Full of wit just like that pathetic human vigilante over there" Saren mocked
"You're just saying that because you know he could defeat you in an instant" Liara defended strongly "It's why you fear people like Shepard and Spider-man"
"You're just saying that to assuage your guilt" Saren said smugly "You've all lost, you know that, don't you? In a few minutes, Sovereign will have full control of the Citadel's systems. The Relays will open. The Reapers Will return"
"I've still got a few tricks up my sleeve" Shepard said in defiance "And you're outnumbered here Saren"
"You survived our encounter on Virmire" Saren admitted "But I've changed since then. Improved. Sovereign has upgraded me"
Shepards eyes widened in horror
"You let Sovereign implant you?!" Shepard said in disbelief "Are you insane?!"
"Are you seriously asking that question right now, skipper?" Ashley deadpanned
"No really" Spider-man groaned, sitting up "Have you lost your mind Saren? You letting yourself get indoctrinated?!"
"I suppose I should thank you then, Shepard" Saren said, sounding a little on the edge "After Virmire, I couldn't stop thinking about what you said. About Sovereign manipulating me. About indoctrination. The doubts began to eat away at me. Sovereign sensed my hesitation. I was implanted to strengthen my resolve"
"THAT'S JUST ANOTHER WAY OF GETTING YOU UNDER CONTROL" Spider-man shouted
"All my doubts are GONE" Saren shot bac with an insane passion "I believe in Sovereign completely, the reapers need organics. It is not too late for you all to join us. We shall find a place for ALL of you"
"Can we just stop talking and kill this mother fucker already" Wrex gritted out, tightening his hold on his shot gun
"I agree with the Krogan Battle master" Ashley viciously added, glaring at Saren from her cover
"You're nothing more than a puppet now Saren" Liara now spoke up, a tear in her eye "My mother was able to see through your charade and her final actions were to help us. It shows how weak of a man you really are.
"The relationship is symbiotic" Saren went on, undeterred by their arguments "Organics and machines intertwined, a union of flesh and steel. The strengths of both, the weaknesses of neither"
Then he really hit it over the park with just how much of a lost cause he had become
"I am the vision of the future" Saren send, now grandiose "The evolution of all organic life. This is our destiny. Join Sovereign and experience a true rebirth"
"Yeah, yeah whatever you say infomercial" Peter said, now joining the rest of the gang in cover
"There is still a chance that we can stop all of this Saren" Shepard tried one more attempt at reason "I can stop Sovereign from taking control of the invasion. Step aside and the invasion will never happen"
"We can't stop it" Saren stated with actual fear in his voice "You saw the visions. You saw what happened to the Protheans. The Reapers are too powerful"
"The fact that you acknowledge that means that some part of you knows that what you're doing is wrong" Shepard verbally fought on "You can fight this!"
Saren seemed to stare at Shepard
"Maybe you're right" Saren murmured "Maybe there's still a chance for…UGH"
Saren fell onto his knees, clutching his head
"The implants" Saren gasped out, coughing and hacking "Sovereign, it's just to strong"
"Goddess" Liara teared up again
"Shit, this is just like Benezia all over again" Kaidan noted
"It's not over yet" Shepard now knew he could get through to him "You can stop all of this, redeem yourself"
Saren had a moment of clarity when he heard that
"I'm sorry Shepard" Saren said, truly meaning it "And thank you"
Without saying another word, Saren pulled out his pistol and shot himself in the head.
Everyone watched in blank shot as Saren fell over, all the way down to the ground below the stand.
A beat…then
"Well…" Wrex huffed "That was anti-climactic"
"Yeah, where the hell is the endless hordes of Geth and Reapers" Ashley said, looking around as if expecting it "Not to tempt fate or anything, but really?"
"What a way to die though" Kaidan muttered "He actually fought through the implants"
"I never liked him" Garrus stated "But to think he had that in him"
"We are not out of the woods yet" Spider-man reminded everyone "I hope you all haven't forgotten the giant Reaper squid thing inside the Citadel"
"Right" Shepard said, approaching the control panel to the Citadel.
Bringing out his Omni-tool, Shepard inputted several commands and sent in Vigil's file
"Vigil's data file worked" Shepard said to the team "I've got control of the Citadel"
"Then open the Citadel" Kaidan said "Maybe the fleet can take out Sovereign before he regains control of the station"
"Open up the communication line" Tali said "We can find out what's going on out there"
Shepard did just that and the first thing they heard was…
"…The Destiny Ascension" Said an Asari pilot "Main drives offline. Kinetic barriers down 40%. The council is on board, repeat the council is on board"
Then another much more familiar and friendlier voice chimed in
"Normandy to the Citadel" Joker said through the comms "Normandy to the Citadel. Please tell me that's you, Commander"
"We're all here Joker" Shepard replied
"We caught that distress call, Commander" Joker said "I'm sitting here in the Andura sector with the entire Arcturus fleet. We can save the ascension. Just unlock the relays around the Citadel and we'll send in the cavalry"
Time seemed to stop for a moment when Wrex said
"You'd sacrifice human lives to save the council? What have they ever done for your kind?"
"Wrex, this is bigger than humanity" Liara argued "Sovereign is a threat to every organic species in the galaxy"
"Well maybe that's why we should hold back" Ashley said, siding with Wrex "We can't just throw away our reinforcements to save the council. We should wait for the Citadel to open up and then send them in to take out Sovereign"
"Are you sure, Ashley?" Kaidan asked "I really don't know what to do here"
"I'm lost here myself" Tali said "The Citadel hasn't exactly been the kindest to my people"
"Even I don't know if I want to save those Bureaucrats
"Does it even matter" Spider-man said uncharacteristically "Live have been lost and whatever happens next, people will still die regardless. No matter what Shepard chooses, people are going to die"
That struck a chord with everyone as Joker asked once more
"What's the order Commander?" Joker asked "Come in now to save the Ascension or hold back"
Shepard truly looked like he was in complete turmoil.
His fists were clenched tightly and shaking with anger.
He exhaled, making his choice
"Unlock the relays Joker" Shepard said "Save the Ascension"
"The council better damn well appreciate what you're doing here Shepard" Wrex said
"I hope so, Wrex" Shepard said, glancing back to his Krogan friend "I really hope so"
Out in space, the Arcturus fleet came charging in, being led by the Normandy.
Immediately all fire was directed at the Geth ships that surrounded the Ascension, taking their focus away from the ship on to the incoming fleet.
"Captain, look" An Asari said to the Captain of the Ascension
"It's the alliance" The Asari said in relief and gratitude "Thank the goddess"
"Destiny Ascension you are all clear" Joker said to the ship "Repeat, you are all clear"
Admiral Hackett then spoke to all ships
"All ships, the Citadel is opening. Move in and concentrate all fire on Sovereign"
Back within the Citadel tower, Shepard glanced down at Saren's body.
He had an odd gut feeling and knowing his gut, it usually meant on thing.
Shepard looked over to Spider-man
"Make sure he's dead" Shepard said tonelessly
"oh boy" Spider-man shuddered a bit, jumping down to where Saren's body lay.
The wall crawler cautiously approached the body, unconsciously calling out to his Spider-sense for any danger.
He crouched down to the head of Saren, examining him carefully for any signs of life.
That wouldn't have matter since Saren was suddenly shot in the head from above
"WHOA" Spider-man cried out, leaping back.
Spider-man looked up to see Garrus holding up his sniper rifle
Everyone else just stared at the Turian.
"What?" Garrus asked "I just was making sure"
"Give me a warning next time" Spider-man shouted, shaking his fist at his friend "Jackass, give me a heart attack, that's fine"
"You would have been able to dodge that regardless" Garrus shot back, knowing it was true
"Is it…truly over?' Liara asked, looking to Shepard for confirmation
Shepard looked at her right in the eye.
Before he could even open his mouth, the Tower began to tremble
"Oh shit" Kaidan said
"Now what?" Tali said exasperatedly
A red aura surrounded everything, lightning crackling when multiple bolts shot at Saren.
"Oh come on" Spider-man moaned "Ugh, why didn't I see this coming"
Saren's body began to float up, surrounded in red. A red wave of energy burst out from Saren, knocking Spider-man back into a wall, while the stand that the rest of the team stood on cracked and fell down to Saren's level.
Saren was convulsing when his body began to grow and expand. His arms and legs became longer and bonier whilst his feet and hands grew and were now more claw shaped.
"Oh COME ON" Spider-man was the first to stand "REALLY!? You just couldn't stay down, could you?"
The now possessed Saren slowly looked back at Spider-man, eyes glowing menacingly that deeply unnerved Peter
"I am Sovereign" The husk said in a disembodied voice "And this station is MINE"
It pointed a claw at the hero.
"Though Shepard has proven to be a threat, you are the most demanding threat right now" Sovereign declared
"Oh that's nice of you to say that" Spider-man said
"Your body will be harvested and studied. We shall unlock all your secrets" Sovereign went on
"Ok, CreeWHOA" Spider-man flipped away as Sovereign leapt after him
Not hesitating, Spider-man timed the next jump that Sovereign did towards him, performing a flip heel kick to knock the indoctrinated Saren back.
This rattled the body but it managed land on its four limbs only to get shot at by Shepard, Tali and Garrus.
Saren jumped up onto the ceiling to avoid the gunfire but was pursued by Spider-man.
"We are ending this now" Spider-man shouted, punching the body down to the ground, giving the team the chance to shoot at the monster.
Saren roared in a shrieking fashion before roughly swatting away Garrus and Ashley.
Liara fired up her biotics only to get grabbed by Saren
"NO" Shepard roared, firing his own biotics before shooting repeatedly at Saren before it let go.
The human Spectre ran up to make sure that Liara was ok.
The Asari gave him a look that said she was fine and he whipped around to fire his shot gun at Saren which only enraged the deformed creature.
Before it could do anything else, Spider-man landed on top of it hard but was then struck back.
Reaper Saren jumped at the web head, grabbing his neck.
The monster began to strangle Spider-man, roughly shaking him with all his might.
"BACK OFF" Wrex roared, slamming into the reaper.
Spider-man followed that up with a double kick to its chest.
Tali and Kaidan began firing at Saren together only for it to jump up once again.
"Hold still dammit" Kaidan grit in frustration
"Keelah" Tali only murmured
Reaper Saren returned to fighting Spider-man primarily, his kinetic barriers taking most of the fire from the others.
"Jeez he really wants him dead" Garrus groaned, standing back up
"Can you blame him" Ashley said, getting helped up by Garrus "Say what you will, but out of all of us, Spider-man is the strongest member on the team"
"No arguments there" Garrus agreed, looking into the scope of his Sniper rifle to get a clean head shot at Reaper Saren
The bullet went right through the head, jolting Saren from his attack on Spider-man
That moment was all Spider-man needed to unleash a full attack on the Reaper.
"Show's over Sovereign"
Spider-man flipped over the Reaper, firing two webs at its legs.
He then tugged with all his might, pulling Saren over his head to slam him hard down onto the floor only to spin around and slam him into the wall.
He didn't relent there as Peter pulled Reaper Saren towards himself only to kick him away, repeating the process several times before upper cutting the Reaper.
The Reaper was then pulled down again by the webbing to receive a roundhouse kick to the face.
Spider-man was not done there as he fired another web line that caught the wrist of the Reaper.
Peter swung around hard, smashing the body into the wall, effectively tearing off the arm in the process.
Spider-man heard an odd voice in the back of his head that was not his own, telling him to press on and make sure Saren stays dead
The Normandy team gaped at the actions.
"Um" Ashley nervously spoke up "Is that really Peter?"
"I really don't want it to be" Liara murmured, standing close to Shepard
"Alright, that's enough" The Spectre said firmly, walking up to the hero that was now punching and kicking the Reaper to smithereens
"Peter" Shepard said "Stop"
But Spider-man didn't hear him
All he was focused on doing was making sure that Saren stayed down, permanently.
"Peter" Shepard said a bit more louder
Peter still didn't respond
"PETER" Shepard shouted, roughly grabbing Spider-man
That caused him to stop and stare at Shepard before looking down to the now scrapped up Reaper Saren.
"I…." Spider-man tried to speak but….
"It's over" Shepard said, placing a hand on his shoulder "We've won"
The team only stood in silence, hearing a particularly large explosion that came from the outside space battle that was occurring.
Garrus looked up to the window
"Incoming!" Garrus shouted
Everyone looked to a large piece of debris hurtling itself towards them
"MOVE NOW" Shepard shouted and everyone began to run the moment the debris crashed into the Citadel tower.
Scene cut
Anderson entered the Citadel tower to find it in complete and total ruin. There small fires everywhere on top of trees and burning rubble.
Structure damage was visible everywhere as pillars and piles of other metals and rocks littered the entire area.
A human crew was sifting through the destruction, trying to find any survivors.
"Captain Anderson" A sergeant called the captain over, helping out Tali and Kaidan from the rock they lay under.
Both were clearly hurt, but no life threatening injuries.
They were being tended to by a doctor while Anderson continued to search through the rubble.
Moments later, they found Urdnot Wrex and Ashley Williams both covered in treatable injuries.
But no sign of Garrus, Liara, Shepard or Spider-man.
"Where are they" Ashley asked her doctor then to Anderson "Where's our friends?"
Anderson didn't reply.
Instead he looked to where Shepard was first anointed the status of Spectre.
That was when metal groaning was heard.
All heads turned to a large slab of metal that was shuddering.
Everyone held their breath in anticipation, some going to their pistols in case of attack.
Then the metal was lifted up by none other than Spider-man who let out a bit of a triumphant roar as he stood tall before tossing away the piece of metal a few yards away.
Beneath the metal was Shepard, Liara and Garrus who now stood up facing all who stared at them.
Mostly at Spider-man for the insane display of strength.
Nothing was needed to be said other than…
"Mission accomplished, sir" Shepard said, looking at Anderson, his friend and mentor
Anderson only returned the sentiment with a proud look on his face
Scene cut
It had been a week since the battle of the Citadel.
And in that time, events just seemed to fly by.
The reconstruction of the Citadel began.
A memorial was held for those who lost their lives in the battle, with special emphasis on the heroics of the alliance.
A small celebration for the heroes of the Normandy
And the biggest shocker of all
Humanity was granted a seat on the council
With Captain Anderson as Shepards choice to represent humanity
All in all, it was a long but quick week in the eyes of the Normandy crew as they sat in the cargo bay of the Normandy.
There was a small table set for them as they all sat around it, drinking, eating, playing cards and just enjoying each others company.
Some still had there bandages on from the battle whilst other(Wrex and Spider-man) looked no worse for were.
Spider-man sighed, mask off and all, leaning back into his chair
"Man…I can't believe it's already been a week" Spider-man said
"After all that's happened" Garrus said 'Yeah, it's weird to think that everything happened a week ago"
"Is it really over?" Tali asked herself and the crew "We've been chasing after Saren for months and it all ended just a few days ago"
"That's how time tends to feel" Kaidan said reasonably "It just flies by"
"So now what?" Ashley asked the group
"What do you mean?" Liara inquired
"Come on Liara, you know what I mean" Ashley said to her "Now what do we do? We came together cause all of us recognized the threat that Saren held. Now that he's gone, what do we do next?"
"…"
"Did you really have to drop that kind of question on us now?" Wrex asked grumpily
"Yeah, doesn't really fill me with a lot of joy" Peter quipped
"Sorry, it's just true" Ashley admitted
"There are still the threat of the Reapers" Shepard grimly reminded the team "We know for a fact that they are still out there and they are waiting for the right time to come in to the galaxy and try to bring about the end of all life as we know it"
"Peachy Commander" Spider-man deadpanned "Real peachy"
"You know it's the truth" Shepard said
"Not denying that it is" Peter said "Just saying my thoughts out loud"
"So what do we do until then?" Liara asked
"Continue on with our lives I guess" Garrus said with a shrug "I honestly don't really want to go back to C-sec considering all the good we've done together"
"I think it is high time I return to Tuchanka and start what I've always wanted to do" Wrex said determinedly "Rebuild my people and unite them as one"
"That's a daunting task" Liara said
"I know" Wrex said "It's why I gotta do it"
"Well you've got my support" Peter said sincerely "If you need my help, don't hesitate to ask"
"Same here" Garrus said, surprising the Krogan "Can't deny your fuzzy personality has won me over Wrex"
"Keep talking Vakarian, and we'll see just how fuzzy my personality is" Wrex growled
"That sounded weird" Kaidan said
"Did you think that one through, Wrex" Shepard asked with a smirk
"Shut up" Wrex said, crossing his arms and looking away with a pout making everyone laugh
"But really though" Spider-man said "What's our next step?"
"I have to return to my people soon" Tali said dejectedly "My pilgrimage has reached its end after what you guys did for me in getting information on the Geth"
"I'm gonna get cycled back into C-sec most likely" Garrus said glumly
"Who knows what's gonna happen to the two of us" Ashley said, gesturing to herself and Kaidan
"I…truly have nowhere to go to be honest" Liara admitted
"Well Ilos is still around" Shepard said, smiling at the Asari "We did promise to take you back after this whole ordeal"
It was pretty much an open secret that Shepard and Liara were now together at this point.
"Oi, go up to your room" Spider-man said "Most of us here are single and would rather not have it rubbed in our faces"
"Here here" Most of the crew said in unison
Liara blushed whilst Shepard deadpanned at them
"You guys are a bunch of assholes, you know that right?"
"Right, like you should be the one to tell us that" Spider-man quipped back
The team fell into a comfortable silence, Kaidan dealing out a set of cards for everyone.
They all picked up their cards, and set up the betting chips.
The game went on for a bit of an hour or two before the team decided to disperse amongst the ship, Spider-man choosing to do a patrol instead.
The wall-crawler was swinging across the Citadel skyline at a casual pace.
All across the city he could see multiple construction sites being manned, repairing the various damages from last week's eventful confrontation with Sovereign
Spider-man sighed, landing on a roof.
Currently he was out of armor, just wearing his 'standard' black suit.
Spider-man sat down on the edge, bringing up his omni-tool. He sifted through the tool before coming upon his file of interest.
Peter pressed a command and out popped a screen marked Normandy memories.
Snorting at the memories, Peter opened the file, revealing pictures he had been taking along their journey for the past few months.
On was of him and Tali working on engines and other scientific things together.
Another was Garrus calibrating like always.

And the latest and last one made Peter smile.
It was a picture of all eight of them, standing together with a look of triumph.
Shepard, Kaidan, Liara and Wrex all stood together in the back.
Wrex held his shot gun with a grin, Kaidan giving the peace sign and Liara was leaning her head against a smiling Shepard.
Garrus, Peter, Tali and Ashley were on the bottom row.
Garrus and Peter had their arms around each other's shoulders, grinning with victory.
Tali had her hand resting on Peter's shoulder with Ash doing the same with Garrus.
Peter had suggested taking a photo to commemorate their victory together as a team and they were all for it.
Besides, the public had gotten a crap ton of photos and videos of the team after their clash with Saren and Sovereign.
Peter wanted something personal with all of them just being them, together as a team. As a family.
Smiling fondly, Peter put his tool away and returned to just gazing out at the skyline.
'Man' Peter thought to himself 'How long has it been? How long has it been since I arrived here?'
And still, he had absolutely no idea as to how to return home to his universe. He pondered as to how much time had passed since he had left.
Did time move quicker or slower? Had it been a few days? Or a few decades?
Peter truly was at a loss here and had no idea what to do.
That was all Peter had left to think when his Spider-sense literally screamed in warning as he was blasted with lightning bolt from behind.
"AURGH" Spider-man cried out as he plummeted to the ground, his body crackling with electricity
Crashing into the ground, Spider-man lay their motionless as his enhanced healing and symbiote kicked in to patch him up as fast as it can.
Groaning, Peter began to strain himself to get back up. All around, citizens were fleeing.
"What hit me?" Spider-man said in a clear daze as he struggled to get back up
'Why did that feel so familiar?' Spider-man thought to himself as he stumbled a bit to stay upright
"SPIDER-MAN" A familiar voice roared at the top of his lungs "I KNEW I'D FIND YOU SOMEHOW YOU SON OF A BITCH"
Spider-man's eyes widened in complete disbelief.
Slowly, Spider-man turned back, glancing up at the being that floated down towards him.
"You have got to be kidding me" Spider-man said aloud "ELECTRO?!"
"SPIDER-MAN" Electro AKA Max Dillon shouted, now hovering before Spider-man "YOU HAVE A LOT TO ANSWER FOR"(He has the look he had from Spider-man Shattered Dimensions)
"Stop shouting" Peter yelled back "Geez man, what the hell is going on?!
"You tell me" Electro growled out "One minute we're fighting over a rock, the next thing I know I see a bright flash and I wake up to this place"
"Ok, in a nutshell, we are in an different universe" Spider-man said
"You think I couldn't figure that out?" Electro growled "What I want to know is do you know a way back?"
"You kidding me?" Peter now was a bit irritated "I've been trying to figure that out for months man. It's not the easiest thing in the world to do when you're busy like I am"
"So you're completely useless to me" Electro's body began to radiate with energy, electricity sparking off of him "I'm going to enjoy cooking you alive"
"Seriously?!" Spider-man said incredulously "I say one thing about not being able to help and you attack me?!"
Then Peter thought about that statement
"Actually, I wouldn't have expected anything else" Spider-man said thoughtfully "But! This is a different situation. You can't just go attack me willy nilly"
"SCREW YOU, BUG" Electro roared again, lightning bolts shooting off from him "I may not have the entire thing but a piece is all I need"
"What?"
Electro reached behind him and pulled out a rock with odd carvings on it that was glowing some turquoise color.
"This little pebble here is more than what it seems" Electro said with a maniacal grin "It was probably the reason why we got here and it could be my ticket out"
"Hang on" Spider-man thought back really hard "THAT'S IT! It must h ave been that Tablet of Order and Chaos! That's what brought us here"
"And it's my ticket out of here" Electro declared, sending a surge of his power into the shard of the tablet.
While it did not have the intended affect Electro was hoping for, it did do something else.
Electro's body began to glow even more so.
"What the…?" Electro muttered looking at his hands as they crackled with energy "What is going on?"
'Oh god, did he just get a power up?' Peter thought with dread
Electro continued to inspect his body, getting an odd feeling from within.
"WHOA" Electro exclaimed giddily "I FEEL LIKE I'M ON CLOUD NINE RIGHT NOW. THIS POWER! IT'S INCREDIBLE!"
Electro then looked to where Spider-man stood only to see that he was gone.
Looking around, Electro heard the familiar thwip of Spider-man firing a web line and looked up to see Spider-man swinging away.
"HEY , YOU'RE NOT GETTING AWAY THAT EASILY BUG BOY"
Electro then took off in flight, in hot pursuit of the web head
'You have got to be kidding me right now!' Peter thought wildly 'It's only been a week and now I'm fighting a super powered Electro! Does the multiverse have a vendetta against me or something?!'
"And people wonder why I guilt trip the hell out of myself" Peter said to himself, picking up speed as Electro began firing bolts of electricity at him.
"SERIOUSLY MAN!?" Spider-man yelled back at the Super villain "You see me and the first thing you do is attack me?!"
"It's not m y fault you're an annoying piece of shit that's beaten me multiple times" Electro shouted in turn "It's like basic instinct at this point to attack you first and ask questions when you're close to dead"
Spider-man momentarily stared blankly at Max
"It's insane how much that makes too much sense" Spider-man said, continuing to swing away to find a place where he could take Electro down without civilians getting in the way
Easier said than done
Spider-man narrowly avoided a blast of electricity, continuing to swing on as fast he inhumanly possible
"COME ON DILLON, IS THIS REALLY HOW YOU TREAT AN OLD FRIEND"
"SHUT UP, IT'S YOUR FAULT THAT I'M HERE YOU BASTARD"
"Well I guess that never changes" Peter remarked landing on the edge of a roof only to jump off from it a second later as another bolt was directed at him
"Really should have kept my armor on for this one"
Electro's teeth were grinding up against each other intensely. He was subconsciously calling upon more energy from the shard when suddenly he vanished in a spark and reappeared in front of Spider-man
"WHOA" Spider-man cried out as he let go of the line he was swinging on to avoid the gigantic electric fist that swung at him.
"SPIDER-MAN" Electro yelled out like a madman "GET BACK HERE"
"Ok, now I know something is wrong" Spider-man analyzed "Sure I get on his nerves but he never acts this insane unless he's gone power crazy"
A beat
Then realization hit Spider-man
"The rock!" Spider-man exclaimed "It must be that rock!"
Swinging around on a pole, Spider-man went on the offensive as he slammed both feet on to the chest of Electro.
Though he was zapped thoroughly, Peter got the effect he desired, sending Electro careening back to the ground.
It was not to last sadly, as Electro righted himself and teleported.
Thankfully, Spider-man's Spider-sense was thrown into overdrive as he used his reflexes to drop down again from the spontaneous appearance of Electro.
"HOLD STILL" Electro shouted in a crazed frenzy
"Not gonna happen sparkplug"
Back on the Normandy
Joker let out a yawn in his pilots chair as he was idly flipping through the channels of the Citadel television network(Yes, there's a television network, don't argue with it)
He couldn't find anything of interest other than the coverage of last weeks epic battle and the heroics of Shepard yadda yadda yadda, same old media hungry bullshit.
"Hey Joker" Garrus came in holding some drinks
"Sup Garrus" Joker greeted the Turian "Got bored of calibrating"
"Well, waiting for Peter to return" Garrus admitted with a shrug, handing Joker a drink "He was supposed to show me how he got those palm blast thingy's"
"Palm blast thingy's?" Joker inquired
"OH, that's right, you never saw it" Garrus said excitedly "Joker, let me tell you one thing, you have to see it to believe it. When Peter comes back, the first thing we are going to do is show you what this bad boy can do and trust me when I say this, it is fucking incredible"
"Wow, you actually got me excited for something nerdy and geeky" Joker said honestly "Hope Peter doesn't take too long"
"WE INTERRUPT YOUR DAILY SCHEDULED PROGRAMMING FOR A BREAKING NEWS REPORT"
Garrus and Joker blinked as they glanced at the screen.
On it was an Asari news reporter who was standing before a decimated area.
"This is Belyne T'kaix reporting live from the aftermath of what appears to be an intense battle taking place between the superhero known as Spider-man and a being that seems to be composed of electricity. I…BY THE GODDESS, UP THERE"
The camera shakily swiveled round to where Belyne was pointing to and caught sight of Spider-man narrowly avoiding a blast of electricity when suddenly a humanoid figure that was glowing blue and had lightning crackling around it appeared before Spider-man and grabbed him by the neck.
The camera caught the being electrocuting the living hell out of Spider-man as the wall crawler screamed in agony before he was hurled through a building and pursued by the humanoid
"By the Goddess, he's going to kill him" The Asari reporter cried out in terror "Jeremiah, hurry"
The two reporters began running towards where the action seemed to be taking place as fast as they could whilst explosions were heard.
Joker and Garrus could only stare at the screen in total disbelief as to what was happening.
"Wha…." Joker could only utter out
Garrus was silent, his mind on overdrive after witnessing his friend fight off something that didn't seem possible AT ALL. In a galaxy as chaotic as this one, this being seemed to literally spit in the face of physics and time and EVERYTHING.
"Hey guys, have you seen Kaidan anywhere?" Said the voice of Ashley as she entered the Pilot's deck "He said he should be finished polishing my gun"
When she didn't receive an answer, Ashley quirked an eyebrow at the hunched over position of Garrus and Joker leaning into his seat only staring at a screen
"Guys?" Ashley said again and again no response.
She came around the two and looked at their gaping expression.
"What's wrong with you two? You've look like you've seen a ghost or something" Ashley asked
Instead, Garrus wordlessly, without taking his eyes off the screen, grabbed the top of Ashley's head and turned it to what they were watching.
"What?" Ashley said, deciding not to struggle against Garrus's clawed hand
What she saw made her pale to a degree
It was a replay of Spider-man being shocked beyond all compare by some blue lightning man then thrown through a building.
"What the fuck?!" Ashley whispered
"Call Shepard" Garrus said suddenly, now snapping out his trance
He immediately turned to leave calling back to them
"We have got to get over there, RIGHT NOW"
Back with Spider-man
Spider-man groaned in pain, his body practically on fire.
That last grab hurt beyond all compare.
That was painful
But of course, Spider-man knew he couldn't pass out.
So with a will of iron, Spider-man forced himself up again.
'Thank God for enhanced healing and symbiote upgrades' Spider-man thought to himself as his powers were working on overdrive.
'I actually haven't had a challenge like this in almost a year!' Spider-man mused as he was trying to figure out where he was
Looking around, he saw most running away while others stayed behind to see just what was going on.
"It's Spider-man!" A human male stated aloud
"EVERYBODY" Spider-man shouted, making all present jump in surprise "YOU HAVE TO LEAVE THIS AREA NOW!"
"SPIDER-MAN"
"OH COME ON" Spider-man whined, flipping back, dodging the body of Electro as he smashed his fist into the ground where spider-man landed
Electro looked up to show his pitch white eyes with cracks all around his blue energy face.
"Max" Peter said in remorse
"You" Max Dillon growled out "You did this to me!"
"NO" Spider-man shouted back "It's that damn rock, you let yourself get consumed by it"
Electro only shouted animalisticallly, throwing lightning bolts at Peter he jumped out of the way.
"Come on Parker, think" Peter said, frantically trying to get some distance between himself and Electro "How the hell do I take down a super charged Electro"
Peter was really starting to hate the fact that this wasn't Manhattan. He could always lure out Electro to an area where he could either drain him of his power or send him crashing down into a body of water.
'That's it!' Spider-man thought 'Why didn't I think of it earlier?'
At that exact moment, Spider-man's comms chimed in
"SPIDER-MAN!"
"Ah damn, Shepard, don't shout" Spider-man complained "You're talking into my ear here"
"We saw you fighting some freak of nature on the news" Shepard said "Are you alright?"
"Well I'm not dead yet" Spider-man said whimsically
"Peter, this is not the time for jokes" Ashley then spoke up, sounding immensely worried "I saw that guy shock you with like a thousand volts!"
"Actually, it was close to about 3000 thousand, but who's really counting" Spider-man quipped
"SERIOUSLY?!" Ashley was now angry "Peter, you're fighting somebody that defies that laws of nature! How can you be so calm?!"
"Alright, take it easy" Spider-man chided "This isn't my first tango with this nut job"
"Wait" Now it was Kaidan speaking "You know what you're fighting?!"
"His name is Max Dillon" Spider-man answered "But he's more famously known where I come from as Electro, a super-villain composed of pure electricity and energy. He and I have quite the history"
"Geez, what did ya do to him that made him so eager to kill you" Wrex asked
"I don't even know where to begin"
"Ok, we'll talk about that later, where are you right now?" Shepard demanded
"Honestly, I've lost track of that" Spider-man said, once again pivoting his body so the bolt of electricity could pass by him without hitting him
"I've been running from this guy for nearly half an hour now"
"Hold on" Tali spoke up "I could probably locate you through the comm link"
"Tali, you are a genius" Garrus praised
A moment of silence
Then….
"You are headed towards the park" Tali said to the superhero
"The park?" Spider-man said in clear confusion "The Citadel has a park?"
"It has multiple parks" Tali stated "This one in particular is a direct inspiration from this human place known as Central Park"
"So does that mean that there's a giant lake in the middle of it all?" Spider-man said with hope
"Yes" Tali said
"Then that's all I needed to hear" Spider-man said now swinging high up past the skyline
"What's your plan?" Shepard asked
"It's pretty simple really" Spider-man said, jumping atop an antenna "I just gotta slam the guy into water to drain him of all of his pent up energy"
"Really?" Ashley said skeptically
"Yeah, Seriously" Spider-man said confidently "You can trust me"
"Alright" Liara spoke up now "But that place is filled with civilians. How are you going fight Electro with the park full?"
"Well how far off are you guys from said park?" Spider-man asked now free falling with Electro still in hot pursuit
"We should be there in about ten minutes" Shepard said
"Alright then" Spider-man said "I'll keep sparky back there on me, you guys get to the park and begin evacuating. Garrus, think C-sec could do anything to help"
"I'll see if I could call in a few favors" Garrus said
"Ok so we know our roles, So yeah Normandy Assemble!" Spider-man cut off the line leaving a bewildered Team
"Normandy Assemble?" Garrus asked "Is that supposed to be a thing now?"
"Oh god I hope not" Ashley said "That sounded WAY to stupid"
While the team babbled on, Shepard took note of Liara for the moment.
Out of everyone in the transport, Liara seemed to be the most calm out of this situation.
Though there was concern on her face, she wasn't as frantic as some of the others.
It's almost as if she knew…
Shepard shook his head. Now was not the time to be asking what was wrong with his lover. Right now, he had to help Spider-man.
Ten minutes later
Shepard and co. arrived at the park and almost immediately began firing their guns in the air startling everyone present.
Shepard utilized his built in speakers in his helmet.
"This is Commander Shepard, Spectre of the council" Shepard's voice boomed across the area "I need you all to listen to me carefully. We are dealing with a very dangerous element that is headed in this direction. You must all clear the park Immediately"
Nearby, Garrus ran into some C-sec officers and began telling them to start getting people to get out of the park as fast as they can.
While most listened, some were a bit curious and wanted to see what was going on.
The answer came in the form of a black blur zipping past multiple people before he was pursued by a blue lightning bolt.
"SPIDER-MAN" Garrus shouted, running over to his motorbike to catch up to the Web-head.
Spider-man was currently jumping in between tree which were promptly destroyed by Electro moments later
"Hey Electro, haven't you ever heard of nature awareness? It's a really important matter that people can really rally behind"
"GAH JUST SHUT UP AND DIE ALREADY"
"Well I see you're past the point of no return" Spider-man murmured "What else is new?"
"Spider-man!"
Peter looked up to see Garrus flying overhead on his flying bike
"Jump on" Garrus called out
"Roger that" Spider-man let go of his web line to run on the ground for a bit before leaping up into the air, perfectly landing on the back seat.
With quick reflexes, Spider-man spun round to fire a large, thick spider net that dragged Electro down, though it wasn't enough as he easily disintegrated the net.
"Ok, that wasn't going to work" Spider-man said dejectedly "Should have seen that one coming"
"Peter what exactly are we dealing with here?' Garrus said in clear concern "Seriously, not even Saren was this close to making shit my pants. And he turned into a reaper zombie"
"His real name is Max Dillon" Spider-man began "But he prefers Electro by this point. He was a regular guy when a little electric experiment went wrong. He at first was a regular guy who could control electricity at will but some enhancement occurred, changing his anatomy to the point where he became a being of practically pure electricity. You literally have to suck him dry if you want him to be in his human form. And I've only accomplished that once since his transformation"
"You really know a lot about this guy" Garrus noted
"I'll tell you about it later" Spider-man said "Right now, we need to get him into a big body of water to drain his power. Otherwise he'll go ape shit on the entire Citadel"
"Is he always like this?" Garrus asked
"No, normally he's an irritable, cranky, pompous spark plug" Spider-man said "But he had this rock on him. And let's just say this rock gave him such an insane power boost, it's overwhelming his mind right now"
"Ok, so we knock him out then" Garrus said
"No, you guys distract him" Spider-man said firmly "I am gonna be the one to knock the sucker out. Have you ever been shot with 5000 volts in your body and had to stand up again to fight, no I don't think so. Stay clear of him and do not let him touch you and stay on your feet. One wrong move and you can end up in a coma"
Garrus glanced back at Spider-man.
This was a very different peter. This was a man who was a seasoned veteran, to the point that fighting guys like this Electro was clockwork.
And now Spider-man was baking orders at everyone.
"Shepard" Spider-man held up his hand to his earpiece "How's the park looking?"
"Empty on almost all sides" Shepard said "What's your plan here?"
"Just keep the night light distracted while I pummel him into the water"
"That's it?!" Ashley yelled out
"Just trust me" Spider-man affirmed now jumping off the bike
He rocketed down towards Electro, making a quick flip. And in the flip, he encased both of his legs in layers of webbing before doing a double axe kick to the top of Electro's head.
Electro smashed into the ground.
Spider-man landed on the edge of the small crater he had made, waiting.
"What's he doing?" Wrex asked impatiently "Why won't he just go in and take him out already?"
"I don't think it's that simple, Wrex" Tali said
"He told me that this guy is composed of electricity" Garrus said through the comms "That the only way to beat him is to drain him"
"Didn't he just bash him into the ground?" Kaidan asked
Then of course, multiple electric hands sprung out and made a grab fro Spider-man.
"Nevermind"
Electro rose up from the ground and once again moved to engage Spider-man
"He said we needed to keep him distracted while he delivers the final blow" Garrus said "We gotta draw him to the lake"
"Then that's what we'll do" Shepard said, his biotics flaring up "HEY ASSHOLE"
Shepard fired a blast which barely reached a yard from Electro.
The group blinked owlishly
"Ok that happened" Kaidan said "I've seen some things but….yeah never saw that happen"
"The aura around him must be really unstable then" Liara concluded
"Then how the hell can Peter hit him?" Ashley asked
"He's Peter" Garrus said exasperatedly "He does the impossible on a weekly basis"
Spider-man continued to weave and jump in between all the shots of lightning, thunder, electricity and all that static nonsense.
"MAX COME ON" Spider-man shouted "YOU'RE NOT THINKING STRAIGHT. THAT ROCK IS MESSING WITH YOUR MIND"
"I HAVE THE POWER OF A GOD"
"Great, add megalomaniac to your resume for your next job interview" Spider-man said when Electro was bombarded with grenades that barely reached him
That was enough for Electro too look back in confusion giving Spider-man the chance to give the guy a power uppercut punch.
Electro flew back, landing a few yards away from Spider-man who danced around on the spot, clutching his fist.
"AH" Spider-man whined "DANG IT. Oh it's like that passing spark you get between friends times a million"
Shaking his hand, Spider-man got ready seeing that electro was back to floating, glaring menacingly at him.
But this time, Electro was being pelted by grenades, rocket launchers, biotics and bullets from the rest of the Normandy crew.
While none reached him, it did annoy him to the point where he waved his hand back and out spawned small, four legged electric creatures(The ones from Shattered dimensions)
"…"
"Did that seriously just happen?" Ashley asked blandly
"…"
"Yes" Croaked out Garrus
"WHAT THE FUCK ARE WE FIGHTING?!" Wrex roared out, now firing his shotgun at the onslaught of these miniature electric monsters.
"Ok, didn't see that coming" Spider-man murmured weakly seeing his team fight off the new foe
"HEH" Electro was grinning madly "SURPRISED?!"
"Great, now booming voice is on in full bloom" Spider-man said "Whatever. CATCH ME IF YOU CAN SPARK PLUG!"
Spider-man turned and hightailed it to a random direction which just so happened to be the direction where the lake was.
"DON'T THINK YOU CAN RUN AWAY SO EASILY" Electro yelled out
"Crap" Shepard repelled several static monsters with his biotics, spotting Spider-man and Electro leaving the area "Spider-man's on his own again"
"Then let's finish this quickly and go aid him" Liara said, throwing up a biotic dome for herself and Tali
"You heard the archeologist" Wrex said, actually slapping away a static creature. He felt a jolt of electricity course through him.
"Ok, that actually kinda hurt" Wrex admitted
"Try not to make a habit out of it" Garrus said holding up his scorched armored hand
Back with Spider-man, the web-head was back to jumping in between trees all Naruto style.
"Man, I have the worst luck sometimes" Spider-man said to himself "Somebody up there must really hate me"
In his own musings and self pity, Spider-man had a rare moment of clumsiness as he jumped out of the trees…
Only to jump into the shallow end of the lake.
Seeing this, Spider-man jumped up in triumph
"Maybe there is somebody who tolerates me up there"
Spider-man turned around in time to see Electro appear, hovering just a few feet away from the water.
"Hey Max" Spider-man said, cheerfully waving at him "Wanna come in for a swim? The water's great"
"DON'T PATRONIZE ME" Electro shouted, firing more lightning bolts at Spider-man
Spider-man once more had to dodge them, firing web strands at Electro's chest.
Electro glanced down at the webbing before looking back up at Spider-man, arching an eyebrow up as if he was stupid.
The webbing was destroyed a second later.
"OH RIGHT" Spider-man said snapping his fingers "Forgot you could do thaWHA, EASY MAN JUST GIVE ME A CHANCE TO TALK"
Spider-man jumped back onto the shore.
Thinking fast, Spider-man ran up to a short but thick tree and kick it down.
He shot a web line at it and with all his might swung round and bashed the tree into Electro who then was sent careening back into the shallow end of the lake.
Instantly, Electro was howling with agony as he hurriedly ran out from the water.
Spider-man stared, then looked at the tree he used.
"Oh yeah, wood doesn't conduct electricity" Spider-man said "Yeesh and I'm a science major?"
Electro was on his hands and knees, taking in deep breaths when he saw a pair of black legs with webbing designs.
Glancing up, Electro saw Spider-man standing over him with a large log on his shoulder.
"Sorry Dillon" Spider-man said "It's the only way to take you down"
With a swing, Electro was launched back and fell into the water.
A bright display of blue lightning danced across the lake surface a s Electro struggled to stay afloat when at the last minute a strand of webbing grabbed the back of his neck and pulled him out of the water.
Electro lay on the shore, unconscious and defeated.
Peter sighed and slumped down onto his ass.
"Oi vey, victory at long last" Spider-man said tiredly "Hmmm….thought I'd be harder than that"
Jolting slightly, Spider-man glanced in all directions, praying that nothing was going to happen. Sighing in relief, Spider-man hung his head, thanking that nothing was going to attack him
Suddenly, the rock that Electro had on him that made him so crazy floated up, hovering above the body of the down villain.
Narrowing his eyes in caution and curiosity, Spider-man reached out, taking the rock from the air.
Examining it momentarily, Spider-man chose to pocket it right now.
He ensnared Electro to keep him immobile and went to rejoin the others.
Spider-man saw that the team was resting on random rocks and benches, all covered in black splotches with Shepard, Kaidan and Ashley's hair standing on edge.
"We won" Spider-man announced, exhausted.
"Right" Shepard said, groaning as he got back up. He gave Liara an appreciative smile from the support she was giving him.
"Come on guys" Spider-man said "Let's head back to the Normandy so I can devise something to keep him powered down and get us all patched up"
Several hours later
Electro was being held in the cargo bay by a dampener of some kind to keep him under wraps whilst the team got bandaged up and sat in the meeting room.
"Alright Peter" Shepard said in all seriousness "No jokes, no beating around the bush. Explain to us what just happened today"
Peter sighed, knowing that this would come in the end
"Ok, how do explain this without sounding even more crazier than I already am" Spider-man scratched his head "Should I start with the rock or with Liara"
"Liara?" Tali perked up
"What does she have to do with this?" Ashley demanded
"Um" Liara timidly spoke up, making all eyes turn to her "I…Know exactly who Peter is and where he comes from"
A look dawned on Shepard's face
"You told me that Liara knows your back story" Shepard said, facing Spider-man "That she mind melded with you and helped you get accustomed to the Citadel"
"Glad you remembered that Shepard" Spider-man said appreciatively
"And what's this rock you're talking about?" Kaidan asked abruptly
"This" Spider-man said, pulling out the rock
"Hang on a second" Garrus stood up from his seat, coming up to examine the rock.
His eyes widened with surprise.
"Hang on a second, I'll be right back" Garrus said, dashing out of the room
…
"Uh, what was that about?" Spider-man asked the others
They all just shrugged.
In a matter of a few minutes, Garrus came running back, out of breath.
He held up a hand so he could catch his breath.
Standing up straight while cracking his back, Garrus approached Spider-man, holding up a rock of his own.
"We found this back on Virmire and I decided to keep this as a souvenir" Garrus said, handing it over to Peter
Spider-man quickly analyzed the rock, his eyes widening.
"They have the same engraving pattern" Peter then put the two chunks next to each other "And they complete each other…..to an extent but it's something"
Then things went from weird to just freaky.
The two rocks sent out a burst of energy, making all present jump up in surprise
Then a disembodied voice spoke into the room, one Spider-man thought he'd never hear again but was about to cry in joy from hearing.
"Spider-man! At long last I have found you!"
"Madame Web!" Spider-man jumped forward towards the elderly lady that sat in a chair surrounded by a web with various images of alternate realities.
"Madame Web?" Shepard nearly went for his gun, but upon seeing that Spider-man knew this sudden entrant, he withheld the action.
"Peter who is this?" Shepard asked one last time "And what is going on?"
Peter gave the Spectre a bit of a melancholy smile
"Well, this is the multiversal Madame Web who spans the multiverse of Spider-men" Spider-man answered coyly "And to follow up to that….Well, I'm from a different dimension/universe/reality altogether"
OH MY FINGERS ARE BURNING. THEY ARE BURNING CAUSE I AM ON FIRE RIGHT NOW. WRITERS STROKE AND I HOPE IT DOESN'T END PEOPLE.
Haven't felt this good in a while.
So yeah guys. After months of delay. The Normandy crew will now know the true origins of Spider-man.

It was quiet on the Normandy right now.
It had been an eventful day after that whole Batarian extremist situation regarding that asteroid and the human colony but all turned out well in the end.
Currently, a young teen decked in all black sat alone in the cargo bay, alone in his thoughts.
The boy had a bit of a messy blonde hair do with blue eyes as radiant as the sea.
Sighing, Roxas, chosen wielder of the Keyblades Oathkeeper and Oblivion, glumly reminisced on his past friends Axel and Xion.
Roxas knew there was no point in his longing to go back and have ice cream on the clock tower with them cause those days are long gone.
But that didn't mean he wasn't allowed to remember the good days and times.
The times were all he really looked forward to was laughing and smiling with the two of them whilst watching the sunset, eating their sea-salt ice-cream.
What he wouldn't give just to do that once more.
Granted he actually could just go to Twilight Town and do just that.
But he knew it wouldn't be the same and he'd risk getting caught by the Organization.
His musings were cut off when he heard his name get called out by a melodious voice that he'd had grown to really like
"Roxas?"
Snapping out of his thoughts, Roxas looked up to see the beautiful figure of Liara T'soni, someone he had become quite close with over the course of his stay here in this odd…world? Galaxy? Universe? Whatever, he had made a very dear friend here
"Roxas, are you alright?" Liara asked in concern, coming up to the young blonde
"I'm fine Liara" Roxas said with a sad smile "You could just say that I'm a little homesick"
"Oh" Liara said in understanding, sitting down before him "Yes, I've experienced that myself before"
"I think everyone has at least once in their life" Roxas said
"What made you homesick?" Liara asked delicately
Though she did a rather spectacular job of hiding it, Liara was very nervous right now.
Ever since meeting Roxas, he has done things that truly defied everything she knew about the galaxy. His powers and abilities were truly a sight to behold and she was still trying to wrap her head around the fact that he could actually do all of these things
And yet, beneath all those amazing powers was not some overbearing, confident and cocky man.
It was just a person who was sad and lonely and lost.
Somebody Liara could almost instantly relate and gravitate to.
They have forged a strong bond over the past few months, one noticed by the entire crew as half their time spent in and out of the ship was with each other.
And it was quite clear as plain as day that there was something there between the two, the air around them was tense and palpable.
"It's just…There's this place I used to go to with my friends back when I was a part of this group that called themselves the Organization" Roxas explained "And we used to all go on missions together for this group"
"At the end of every day, we use to go to this place where sat down and ate ice cream together while watching the sun set"
"That sounds quite lovely" Liara said at the thought of it
"Not the word I would use to describe it" Roxas chuckled "But it was something special between the three of us. Something we could look forward to, everyday"
Then a sullen expression fell upon Roxas
"But now….they're not there anymore" Roxas said sadly "And I haven't gone back since"
Liara's expression was one of sympathy.
Tentatively, she reached out and took Roxas's hand into her own.
Surprised, Roxas looked up at her blushing face as she tried her damn hardest too look at Roxas in the eyes.
"It's alright Roxas" Liara said softly with a shaky voice "You are amongst friends once more who care for you just as much as you cared for you other friends. And if you ever need anything, don't hesitate to ask"
Roxas blinked before blushing himself, giving Liara a truly appreciative smile that seemed to glow, making Liara blush even more.
The two sat there in silence when
"Hey Liara" Roxas was really taking a gamble "Can I show you something"
Liara was a bit startled but smiled regardless
"Yes of course"
"Now, this is actually important and a bit of a surprise" Roxas said "So I'm gonna have to blind fold you for a bit"
Now Liara was a little on edge.
Roxas stood up and opened one of those 'corridors of darkness' as he called them right next to them.
He pulled out a piece of cloth from his pocket and gave her an expression of hesitance.
"Do you trust me?" Roxas asked with trepidation
Liara stared at the blind fold then at Roxas.
Though she had only known him for a few short months(Really close to eight months) Roxas had never presented himself in a manner that made her distrust him. As a matter of fact, she trusted him with as much faith, maybe even more so than Shepard.
Making up her mind, Liara nodded making Roxas carefully cover her eyes.
Once that was said and done, Roxas took Liara by the hand and guided her through the corridor, throwing up a protective shield around her with his powers so she could safely traverse through the darkness.
Liara had no idea where she was walking on a second later.
The only thing she did know was that she was on a stone floor.
"Alright, it may take a moment for you to adjust your eyes but you can take off the blindfold" Roxas's voice said beside her
Heeding his instructions, Liara slowly removed the blindfold.
She cautiously opened her eyes, shutting them from the brilliant light before opening them again.
She gasped.
Liara stood up on the roof of a clock tower with the most brilliant view of a town and sunset she had ever seen.
"It's…so beautiful" Liara said in a hypnotized trance by the sunset and its vibrant colors
"Yeah" Roxas was instead looking at Liara who seemed to become even more radiant in his eyes as the suns ray cascaded her figure "It is"
"Have a seat Liara" Roxas said, sitting down onto his favorite spot on the ledge "Relax and enjoy the view"
Liara was a bit nervous, since they were so high up.
Noticing this, Roxas held up his hand to her
"I promise you, nothing will happen" Roxas said serenely, practically erasing all doubts within her
Next thing she knew, the two of them were sitting hand in hand, eating ice cream while watching the sunset.
They didn't even notice that they were holding hands until they had finished their ice creams
Liara and Roxas both glanced down at their intertwined hands then back up at each other.
"Uh…" Was all Roxas managed out before blurting "You look really beautiful right now"
Then his face reddened
"I mean, you always look beautiful, all the time" Roxas quickly covered up, rambling on "IT's just the sun and everything makes you look even more gorgeous that you usually are…ARGH I'm such an idiot"
Liara only further blushed at everything Roxas was saying before deciding it was now or never. Scooting closer to him, she leaned in closely
"Roxas" Liara all but whispered
Roxas stopped his rambling in time to see Liara lean in and kiss him oh so softly.
His mind shut down as the soft delicate lips of Liara's kissed his own.
She retracted back, seeing Roxas was unresponsive.
Liara then felt horrified and embarrassed and was about to try to leave when Roxas stopped her by gently snaking his arms around her back and waist, pulling her closer.
The two of them were blushing like mad as they exhaled roughly, locking eyes.
The two then closed the distance between the two and kissed one another, this time more passionately.
Roxas now pulled Liara closer than he could and Liara pressed herself up against him, wrapping her arms around his neck, one hand travelling through his spiky hair.
Leaning in closer to him, Liara moaned from the kiss before yelping as Roxas fell onto his back taking her with him.
The two blinked before laughing a bit, resuming where they left off.
Ok let me just say this quickly
This is an idea right now, it's a teaser, it's not set in stone.
That being said, I really loved writing this teaser and am happy to say that I have begun working on my Kingdom Hearts and Mass Effect Crossover.
