Hey guys, it's good to know that I still have you guys reading this, means a lot.
And I cannot wait cause after watching some movies, both awesome and shitty, so there is a great influx of new ideas that came to me in regards to this crossover as well as my other stories and I cannot wait to write and share them with you, it's gonna be awesome I promise.
Thankfully I've also managed to update this story a lot sooner than usual even after everything I've been dealing with in my personal problems. Normally I'd give a very vague basic answer on what it is I'm dealing with like saying life is being a bitch. But honestly that's just everyday general information that we all deal with. I like to be upfront and honest with my reviewers without giving away as much as I can.
I'm going through a serious fallout with my family specifically my mother. For the past month we haven't been on the best of terms with the two of us barely tolerating one another. I have recently decided that due to my financial situation I'm taking a semester of college off to get some more money. Of course there is natural disagreements here and there but my mom seems to have taken it the worst and now it's devolved down into just spiteful comments without either side really getting anything other than more rage. Yeah, that kind of bullshit. So thanks for listening, really feels good to get this off my chest.
Now that I have that out of the way, I am gonna admit I kinda downplayed Gaius in him being a much more viable threat with Spider-man's humor. I have an explanation for this. See, Spider-man in this storyline is around 26 and he's been well Spider-man for well over 11 years now. The web head has dealt with some of the most insane threats to ever threaten the Marvel universe and so he's more accustomed to these kinds of developments. While the crew does not have a true legitimate grasp on these kinds of scenarios, they are becoming more accustomed to this and with Spider-man's origin they are now more than prepared even if they still have shock. Seeing it is one thing. Believing it and witnessing it is another experience entirely.
However I do admit again, I downplayed Gaius's turn into Scorpion and will rectify this in due time. I'm not gonna just flip the switch and make him a HOLY FUCK kind of bad guy. That can come in due time.
Alright, that's my quota for this chapter in my opening notes.
Hope you guys enjoy the chapter
Leave in the comments on what you would like to see, like a storyline or just some fun moments here and there. To any other reviewer from before, don't worry, you guys will all be getting more Peter and Miranda moments and even a date in due time. They are the pairing after all.

Along Came A Spider Chapter 20 Things get personal
The crew was currently getting ready to leave the planet Utaka after the confrontation with Gaius now calling himself Scorpion.
Most of the crew was nursing headaches over injuries since they were trying to process just what had happened.
Garrus and Peter sat apart from the rest, silently having a conversation with each other on just what to do next in regards to Gaius. This was in a way their own responsibility seeing that the two of them had apprehended Gaius a number of times.
Peter sat on a rock helmet off but mask still on, checking over his armor got melted down by that surprise acid attack.
"Wonder who could have done something like that to him" Garrus murmured "Gaius had some smarts but he was no genius"
"This was definitely done to him by someone else' Spidey said, nodding his head to what Garrus implied "But that's the obvious question. Who did this to him. The real question should be is why they did this to him and what are they trying to do?"
"What are you suggesting?" Garrus asked
"I can't really put my finger on it" Spider-man admitted "But I could feel it. There is an ulterior motive to all this. Gaius must have had someone really give him a good deal if he were to go through with this"
"That suit was also unnatural" Garrus stated "While you were fighting him, I noticed something"
"What?"
"The suit. The armor he was wearing was surgically attached to him"
Spider-mans eyes widened in horror.
"This isn't something that can be taken off so easily" Garrus surmised, crossing his arms in thought "The way the tech moves, it's advanced no doubt. Probably cost a lot to make it. But it's still a prototype. If you damage it enough, I could pick the right spot and destroy it with one shot"
Peter stared at the Turian for a several moments, his friend unaware as he was lost in thought.
Noting the silence, Garrus quirked a brow and looked down at his vigilante comrade who had his big white eyes on him.
"What?"
"Since when did you go full detective?"
"HEY" Garrus squawked "I'll have you know that I've been a detective for good few years now"
"I know, but just never this…good?"
Garrus simply deadpanned at his friend who then chuckled
"Sorry man, I'm just saying you are way into this. Like full on analytical" Spidey stated
"I've been busy in the downtime" Garrus said, his eyes now having a far away look "After everything we've seen and done. What we have learned and what's to come. It's helped me realize that I need to get better. At everything. My sniping skills, my analytical abilities, simply being a detective. I've got a lot of improvement I need to work on"
Spidey merely nodded along with everything Garrus had said.
"Yeah" Spider-man glanced over to the others who were speaking with Citadel Officials who had arrived on the scene several hours after Scorpion had ran off.
The survivors of the lab were also being checked on before being taken away to hospitals to get full evaluations.
"Um… Mr. Spider-man sir?" a female voice cut in
The duo turned to see the Asari scientist that rushed right into Spider-man when they had first arrived here.
"Hey, are you doing alright?" Peter a sked, standing up to face her
"More than you know" The Asari said gratefully, stepping closer to the vigilante making Spider-man tilt his head
"What do you mean?"
"It's easy to forget everyone you save or leave an impressionable impact on" The Asari began slowly, her hands up "You must have a lot of admirers by now"
Now Peter was feeling really humble
"Ah it's not that much" Peter said sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head "All I want to do is help people really"
Garrus let out a huff of amusement as he watched on, amused at Pete's modest nature.
"But thanks to you, I get to return to see my daughter again" The Asari said, now closer "And tell her that not only did her hero save her but her mommy as well"
Something then clicked in Peter's memory.
"You know…I may not remember you…but there's only one Asari kid who also happens to be my number one fan" Spider-man said, getting an approving nod from the scientist
"How is little Leose doing?" Spidey asked happily
"Wonderfully" Her mother said joy "You really have no idea how she idolizes you. She wants to become a hero like you when she grows up"
"Ah, I didn't realize that" Spider-man said, blushing with embarrassment and happiness underneath his mask
"She actually decided to do something quite special" The Asari said with a knowing smile "Leose went out to any old style places and found a human shop. There she printed out a poster of you and has it posted on her wall"
"Wow" Garrus muttered "She's full on hardcore"
"By the way" The Asari said, now wringing her wrist nervously "My little jumpers birthday is coming up within the next two weeks. And I can't pass up an opportunity like this. Do you think you can drop by and wish my little Jumper a happy birthday"
Spider-man stared and gaped at the Asari.
"Really?" Spider-man said "Are you absolutely sure?"
"Nothing would light up her world more than you being there, Spider-man" She said assuringly and confidently
"Wow" Spider-man was in a daze before shaking his head "Absolutely. You can count on me. I'll do it for her no doubt"
"Oh wonderful" She said elated now "Oh, Leose will love this. It will be the perfect surprise for her"
"No problem ma'am I…Wait, I'm sorry for dropping this by you, but uh heh, what's your name again" Spider-man said embarrassedly
"Oh my" The Asari said, sharing the same feeling Spider-man had "How rude of me. My name is Kiella Thasi"
"Well Kiella consider it a Guarantee then" Spider-man said "I'll drop by little Leose's birthday no doubt"
"Oh thank you so much" Kiella said, a small tear of joy escaping "Here, this is the address of her little birthday"
"Got it" Spider-man said, holding up his Omni-tool
"I guess it is time for me to go" Kiella said, looking over to the other scientists who were being loaded onto their transport ship to get off this planet
"I'll see you in two weeks Kiella" Spider-man said with a thumbs up "That's a promise"
"Thank you again Spider-man" Kiella said sincerely, leaving the two to join her fellow scientists
"Ah would you look at that" Garrus jokingly gushed "You've got two admirers now"
"And how many do you have?"
"More than you know"
"Are you guys ready to go?"
Garrus and Peter glanced over to see Shepard and Kaidan waiting for the two of them.
"Ready Commander" Garrus said
"Right, let's get back to the Citadel then, see what we should do next" Shepard said
With that, the team was soon enough back on the Normandy, on their way to Citadel.
Elsewhere in the galaxy, Gaius had placed in the coding for his pod which soon rocketed towards its destination.
An isolated outpost on the very edge of the charted galaxy. The outpost was built on a moon which aimlessly floated around a dead planet.
The pod eventually crash landed on one of the landing pads built into the moon and out stumbled Gaius who lumbered forward towards the base.
At the entrance were a group of men and women waiting for his return.
"Gaius" Said the lead man with a smooth voice "How did your test run go?"
"How does it look like it went" Gaius said with anger, holding up his dented metallic arms which made the scientists widen their eyes in disbelief
"But that's one of the most advanced titanium alloy armor we had" A female human spoke up
"Yeah well Spider-man dented it like it was aluminum" Gaius shot back at her "In case you don't realize now, Spider-man is a hell of a lot stronger than you anticipated. This(Holds up dented arm) is child's play compared to him. I may not be as smart as you dumbasses but you need to reinforce this thing for high impact"
"I never took you for being as knowledgeable as you are Gaius" The lead man said smoothly
"Well Vladimir, my old prison cell buddy was a Salarian' Gaius said, his eyes on the Cerberus scientist "He talked to himself a lot on metals and other projects. I may be a criminal but I'm not a complete moron. I picked up on some things during m y time with him and my times in dealing with new tech"
"Hmmm" Vladimir stroked his chin, examining the arms "Alright, get inside and we'll start working on the repairs and improvements"
Gaius only grumbled out a few words, entering the base with the rest following after him.
Vladimir remained outside for several moments, eyes on the Turian who willingly subjected himself to an experiment where he might not ever truly get any better from.
"Corinth" Vladimir Spoke into his Omni-tool "Send our report to Illusive Man"
The Citadel 5 days later
Peter was with Garrus and Liara, enjoying a simple lunch at the Manhattan Shack whilst Shepard dealt with some politics regarding Gaius AKA Scorpion.
The rest of them simply decided to spend the few days together, since it was becoming surprisingly rare in between the downtime that they have.
Al was humming to himself as he served the three their favorite dishes.
"What is wrong my friends?" Al asked, leaning on the counter "You all seem rather down this day"
"Eh, it's just that Al" Garrus said, taking a drink "We've been handling some grim business. It's rather concerning"
"Bah" Al waved off "You all are some of the best people this galaxy has to offer. After that whole Citadel incident, you can take care of anything"
"Thank you, Alphonse" Liara said with a smile
"Think nothing of it my dear" Al said warmly, like a father would
"Remember my friends, if you ever need anything, I'll be there to help"
"Much appreciated Al" Peter said sincerely
Al only smiled with a nod and returned to the back.
"So now what?" Garrus asked
"We find Gaius" Peter said firmly
"Yeah? And how do we do that?" Garrus asked dryly "Clap our hands together three times and he'll appear before us?"
"You'd be amazed at the story I have for that" Peter said, a fond reminiscing look on his face "Ah the Savage Land"
Liara and Garrus opted only to stare at Peter before returning to the matter at hand.
"But will Gaius return here?" Liara asked "What would he gain from returning here?"
"Gaius is right now thinking with his rage and power and not his intellect" Peter said knowingly "I've seen this happen one to many times. Even if this is a different universe bad guys all think the same. Now that he has power beyond his understanding he's gonna come after all those that have wronged him in his life"
"Primarily the two of us then" Garrus said
"Exactly" Peter said "I hate to say this but just like with Shocker, we're gonna have to wait and see what happens. Gaius knows that the Citadel is where we operate out of the most so he's gonna be gunning for us here. He will come to us"
"Are you certain?"
"Liara, you already know my life" Peter said knowingly "By this point it is a guarantee"
Several Days later
Spider-man was on the patrol, moving from district to district in the Citadel with the occasional petty crime he had to stop.
"Hmmm" Spider-man said to himself "If I was a recently super empowered criminal where would I go"
Spider-man landed on a pole, balancing himself on the top in a crouch, scanning the city. Rubbing his chin, Peter spotted several places he had by this point committed to memory. The Citadel Park, the diner districts, the high class restaurants and shops.
"Normally" Peter said aloud "There would be an abandoned warehouse on a random dock in the city…but this isn't Manhattan"
Peter blinked at his own conversation "Is it?"
Choosing to keep that idea in hand, Spider-man swung away once more, in hopes of finding somebody that can help him.
And wouldn't ya know it, up ahead was a construction site for a new building.
He swung down and landed in front of the site, startling several workers at his sudden arrival.
"What the-? Spider-man?" A Turian worker said
"Spider-man?"
A bunch of men stopped what they were doing and saw that the Superhero of the Citadel was here and they couldn't help but approach him.
"What are you doing here, Spider-man?"
"I can't believe this! This is so awesome!"
"Many questions, many questions"
"Hey, Spider-man, I'm a big fan!"
Spider-man couldn't help but be overwhelmed with what was essentially a fan mobbing. Just much more contained.
"Guys" Spider-man shouted out getting them to quiet down "Listen, as insanely awesome as this is with you all basically showering me with praise, I need help"
That made them all murmur in surprise and slight humility and ego.
"Alright guys, listen up" Spider-man said "How many of you here have worked around the Citadel? Like a lot, where you know the Citadel's areas, how things work in each environment and so on"
A decent amount of hands went up and Spider-man nodded
"Ok, so here's the deal" Spider-man said "There is this criminal that I'm looking for and he had recently gotten a bit of an upgrade in threat level. I know for a fact that he'll be coming back here"
The workers were confused as to what Spider-man was talking about, but remained silent as they listened on
"So, I'm guessing that he has a hideout somewhere here on the Citadel and I can bet my bottom dollar that it's something like an abandoned district or warehouse, or just something with housing" Spidey said, listing off everything at the top of his head "So, does anybody here have any idea on something like that?"
The gathered held silent, contemplative expressions as they all thought on the Web-heads words.
"Well, There's always the older parts of the Citadel you can go to" A Turian spoke up "This place does have some more rundown areas compared to the others"
"Yeah, there's the lower levels on some of the edges of the Citadel or you can go to some of the older districts down around the middle of the Citadel" A human added "Some of those places have been abandoned"
"Any places you know of?" Spidey asked
"There's always the old factories of the western pillars(I'm making shit up here, just go with it, it's fiction for gods sake)" Another Turian suggested "That place has become a bit of a haven for criminals. There's a lot of hiding spots there that even the best C-sec have problems in finding"
"And you can always check out Bar city" A human added "There's always shady activity there. Including the back alleys"
"That's a start then" Spider-man said with a grateful nod "Thanks everyone, this helps me out a great deal"
With that, Spider-man was off to explore the Citadel, sending out a message to the others while he began his hunt across the Citadel.
He dropped by many locations, usually making some people gawk in awe at the hero while making any criminal scatter and flea for their lives only for them to get snagged up immediately.
Peter searched for nearly half the day, getting no results or any word if Gaius had returned.
His search eventually lead him to a string of storage warehouses. Spidey saw that people were working here so he decided to get some answers.
Peter landed in front of a warehouse with some workers around, surprising them just like he did at the construction site.
"Hey" Spider-man greeted friendly and all
"By the Goddess it's the Spider-man"
"Pleasure" Spidey said earnestly "So I bet the big question is, is 'Why is Spider-man here?'"
A bunch of nods and murmurs of agreement
"To put it simply, I'm on the hunt for a criminal who's recently gotten a bit of a power up that made him go from mildly threatening to insanely threatening" Spider-man explained "Is it alright if I check around this place out?"
"Excuse me, just what is going on here?" A male voice said from behind Peter.
The Web Head turned around to see a Human male, tanned skin with slick back black hair, wearing a professional suit.
All in all, gave off a very business like but also mobster like vibe.
The man saw Spider-man, his expression changing into one of surprise.
"Spider-man?" The Man said in confusion and slight awe "What are you doing here?"
"He said he's looking for a criminal boss" A Turian informed
"A criminal?" The man said, rubbing his chin\ "You think a criminal is hiding out here"
"Could be" Spider-man said "In all honesty I'm just using any word of mouth or hunches I could think of. The guy I'm looking for is really big, like bigger than a Krogan and in my line of work, and from what I've already encountered here on the Citadel, the baddies usually use Warehouse areas to ship special cargo"
The owner of this area listened to Spider-man's statement, humming in thought.
"Alright, I guess I can let you check around this place" The businessman consented to the reason
He then turned to the man behind him "This is Ralph, he'll show you around. My name is Jordan O' Donnelly. If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask"
"Thank you sir" Spider-man said respectfully
Spider-man began to follow Ralph who gave the hero brief explanations as to what each warehouse stores, ships out or bring in.
"So is there anything like Tech related?" Peter asked "One that brings in anything from parts to completed vehicles"
"Oh that's right there" Ralph said pointing to the edge of warehouse complex "Those last five are usually our science wing you could call it"
"Awesome, Thanks"
Ralph lead Peter to the buildings, workers going about their business.
Some used a variant Mech Suit that was designed for heavy lifting and transporting around large crates of ship ins.
As the many workers walked around, doing their jobs, Spider-man began going over to specifically large crates, asking Ralph of their origins, when the crates got here and where did they come from. Of course, Ralph could only tell the wall crawler so much as there was still the legal privacy entitled to each their own basically.
Ralph did however pull some loopholes, describing certain areas where each crate was going to, like a biotics lab, hydraulics, Mech, and so on and so forth.
"Tectonics?" Peter asked, standing before a stack of crates that come from a planet that regularly records earthquakes
"Huh?" Ralph said "That's a little weird. Why would tectonic technology be shipped in?"
The answer came in the form of Spider-man's spider-sense blaring when he was hit with two shockwave beams
"AURGH"
Spider-man crashed into a large stack of shipment which then proceeded to collapse onto him.
People scattered away from the area and looked towards the direction of those shockwave beams.
Sakoln "Shocker" Lumar
"This is certainly an unusual turn of events" Shocker stated approaching the crate that Spider-man was inspecting moments ago "I was hoping for a quick pick up…"
Peter groaned in pain as he managed to dig himself up out of the pile of metal on top of him, standing out in front of the heap. If one looked closely enough, you could see the black suit shifting about with great discomfort which didn't help Peter as he felt it literally right on his skin.
"Sakoln?" Peter murmured
"…But looks like it has become more complicated than its own worth" Sakoln finished, holding up his gauntlet to the crate "So I'd rather not deal with this right now'
He flicked a switch on the side and out fired dual metal wires that wrapped itself around the crate.
Sakoln then shrugged his shoulders and out came thrusters.
There was a blast that fired out from them which allowed him to launch himself up in the air
Sakoln's boots then fired a steady vibration wave which allowed him to maintain flight, flying away from the warehouse complex
"Oh no you don't" Spider-man said, jumping up to begin his pursuit of Sakoln
"What are you doing here Sakoln?" Peter shouted at the super villain
"This is my base of operations"
"That's not the point"
"I have something I needed so I came to pick it up"
"Would it have mattered if I was there?"
"Yes, the fact that you were there forced my hand"
"By Attacking me?! Wait…That's how all my bad guys usually greet me"
"Glad you see reason"
"Wait, were you going to attack anyone?"
"No, I'm not some foolish power hungry lunatic. Why should I attack those who do their jobs"
"Oh…that actually makes you sound better than you are"
"Thank you"
Sakoln then pivoted downward with Spider-man hot on his tail.
The duo continued this song and dance when Shocker threw his crate forward into an awaiting truck.
The back trunk that was awaiting the crate closed shut the moment it received its objective and then flew of down into the lower wards.
"You were prepared for this?!"
"I always have contingencies. Now that I have you to deal with have an entire folder file"
"Aw, that much for me?"
Sakoln finally whirled around and unleashed a torrent of shockwaves at Peter who nimbly dodged each one, getting closer to the super villain.
Shocker saw that he was nearing him and with quick thinking, deactivated his boots allowing him to drop, surprising the Web head.
That did little to deter the superhero as he simply chased down after him.
Once he was closing in on the pavement down below, Sakoln activated his boots momentarily to let off a vibration wave, slowing down his descent.
Sakoln landed normally and broke off into a sprint, Spider-man not that far behind him still web swinging.
"I am in no mood for games today Spider-man" Shocker declared and he fired at a passing car in the air.
The shockwave struck the back of the car which in turn fell down towards the civilian crowded streets.
Spider-man of course didn't even hesitate in leaving Sakoln to go after the falling car.
With incredible speed and reflexes, Peter reached the falling car in time, pried the doors open, reached in and grabbed the two civilians inside and jumped back, firing a web net to catch the car.
Spider-man landed in between a crowd of people who were simply gawking in amazement at just how fast Spider-man saved everyone.
Peter glanced up to see the car hanging up above in the webbing he made.
He glanced towards where he last saw Sakoln running off to only to see, unsurprisingly, that he was nowhere to be found.
Sighing in annoyance, Spidey checked on the two civilians he rescued, a couple(Asari and human).
"Are you guys ok?" Peter asked in concern
"Dude, my brother is never gonna believe this"
"Praise the goddess, Thanks you Spider-man"
"Just doing my job" Peter said humbly before jumping up into the air to swing away, getting a round of applause from the crowd below
"Geez" Spider-man said blushing beneath his mask "This is just ridiculous. Normally I only get this kinda treatment when I'm with the Avengers"
With Sakoln, later on that day
Sakoln patiently awaited the car that received his shipment after that wild chase he had to deal with earlier today. It was a mild annoyance to be frank and it would be best if he had not dwelled on it.
Shockers patience was rewarded at last when the truck arrived, whirling around before landing before him, the back trunk opening with a human wearing an alliance type military suit with modifications, specifically his fully armored right arm, the armored knee pads and lower legs and the right shoulder had a very unusual shoulder pad that covered his entire shoulder, being held by a strap.
"Sakoln" The man said pleasantly
"Dealer" Sakoln said in turn
"Sakoln" The man said knowingly "Are we not on mutual enough terms that you can't use my name"
"Wouldn't know now would I" Sakoln said casually
"Hmmm, true" The man called the Dealer said
"What's with the armor might I ask" Sakoln said, entering the truck to check on his delivery
"I had recently gotten this as payment" The Dealer said offhandedly "The guy I was doing a run for didn't have the conventional pay so he compensated with this. Told me it was top of the line custom made"
"And is it?"
"Very much so" Dealer said, holding up his armored arm. A blade came out which crackled with energy. It then got surrounded by an orange energy(Like an enhanced Omni-blade) before it retracted itself into a gun gauntlet and then it turned back to normal.
"That is a very impressive suit you've got there" Sakoln praised
"Indeed" The Dealer said, admiring his new equipment "Because of this, the creator of these little gems now is under my direct payroll"
"Oh? And does he have a lovely alias such as yourself?"
"It is in my prior sentence, Creator plain and simple" The dealer said casually "His brilliance for machines is truly a marvel. For example"
The dealer reached for a pocket and pulled out a metallic sphere with several spikes.
"A gift, from me to you" The Dealer said generously "After years of working with one another"
"And what would this be?" Sakoln asked, inspecting the sphere
"A simple creation that truly shocks me, since it seems to have never been made" The Dealer said "You see, it's a simple capture sphere. Press the center button, adjust its strength and simply throw it at your designated target and cable wires reinforced with Element zero will easily immobile the target"
Sakoln was truly surprised at the simplicity of the device in hand and was even more stumped at the fact that what the Dealer said was true. It's amazing at how something so simple seemed to have been completely forgotten by al civilizations.
"So" Dealer said, patting the crate "Got you your tech, got your ride without a hitch. All in all, a perfect run"
"Indeed" Sakoln bringing up his Omni-tool. He sent the demanded amount to the Dealer's personal account and then the two shook hands
"Pleasure doing business with you again Sakoln"
"And to you as well"
The crate was unloaded off the crate and Sakoln and The Dealer parted ways.
The next day
Peter and Garrus were currently in the Cafeteria of the Normandy, eating and playing cards together.
"So currently, we have Gaius on a wild power trip, Shocker running about stealing something clearly of value and we have no idea as to what to do next" Garrus said, summing up what had happened in the span of three days
"Yeah…Kind of a typical week for me back home" Peter remarked before sighing "Man, I would hope that I would at least deal with stuff like this here to a bare minimum…then again that would be asking too much knowing my good ole Parker luck, regardless of what universe I come from"
"You really love railing on yourself don't you" Garrus deadpanned
"Thanks, it's a gift"
"Only you can take a horrible underhanded comment and turn it into a compliment"
"That's another gift"
"I see you guys are using your time wonderfully"
Garrus and Peter looked up to see Ashley walking up to them, tray of food in hand
"Hey Ash" Garrus and Peter greeted as she sat down with them
"So, I take it your search for Gaius yielded nothing"
"Basically…if you don't account my run in Shocker, just a long drawn out day"
"Shocker?" Ashley said "Him again?"
"Yeah, he's still around" Spider-man stated "Probably will be for a while. Guys like him know when to pick their spots and how to get away. As he proved yesterday"
"What happened?" Ashley asked
Peter gave her the quick rundown of yesterdays events.
"Hmmm" Garrus rubbed his chin in thought
"What's up Garrus?" Ashley asked
"Nothing it's just….or maybe it is something" Garrus said confusing his friends
"The way that truck was waiting for Sakoln" Garrus elaborated "It seemed to well placed to be coincidental, and you said that he had this as a contingency in the event that he would run into trouble yes?"
"Uh-huh" Peter said with a nod
"Then my money is on The Dealer" Garrus said with finality
"The Dealer?" Ashley and Peter said in unison
"Who's that?" Peter followed up
"A figure of great importance to the criminal underworld of the Citadel and actually a decent chunk of the galaxy from what I've managed to gather" Garrus said "Not much is known about him actually. You could say he's as secretive as the Shadow broker, and he does a damn good job of keeping himself on the low profile"
"How did you hear about him?" Ashley asked
"About several months before meeting all of you" Garrus said "It was during a stakeout. Me and several C-sec officers got wind of a shipment of weapons and we managed to bust the deal thankfully. When we began interrogated who we captured they only mentioned that this was smuggled in and orchestrated by "The Dealer". We tried getting more out of them but they surprisingly didn't want to rat him out"
"Out of fear?" Ashley asked
"Out of respect" Garrus stated "After that I began doing my own investigations on this guy and I found a lot of fascinatingly vague information"
"Fascinatingly vague?" Peter said, tilting his head at the word play
"There was a 'substantial' amount that was said about the Dealer but at the same time very little" Garrus said "He's human from what I've gathered and is a man of very strict and high morals. A villain with a code you could say. He deals with criminals yes but he is very selective of his clientele. From what I've gathered the criminals he has worked with while having very large rap sheets have something all distinctly in common. They are criminals who have minimal casualties in terms of death counts"
"So you're telling me he doesn't work with murderers?" Ashley scoffed "A criminal is still a criminal"
"That may be but this one is different" Garrus said "This guy actually has respect amongst those he has worked with and offered his services to. He is a real enigma really. I have some data on him, but it really doesn't tell much on who he is or where he comes from. What I do know is that when you want something done and you have the Dealer on hand, you may as well consider that a guarantee. I haven't found an instance where he failed"
"Yeesh, a bad guy with a perfect record" Ashley remarked "Doesn't exactly sound that encouraging"
"This guy seems like he can be reasoned with" Peter suggested "You said yourself that he's selective with his clientele right?"
"Wait, Pete, you're not actually thinking of trying to get in contact with this guy?" Ashley said incredulously
"Hey, I'm not suggesting anything' Peter said, holding his hands up "But you gotta admit, this does sound interesting. I haven't met a baddie with a code in a while. I had one back several years ago. Was basically the informant to me and any other street level heroes. He eventually went clean and retired. Last I heard before coming here was that he has a nice shore house in Hawaii, lives there with his wife and kids"
"Ok, fine, I see some reasoning there" Ashley conceded somewhat "But how do we get into contact with him"
"Well the basic info on that is…complicated to say the least" Garrus said "Either you know him and you have your designated way of contacting him, or you let the word out and hope for the best in finding him OR…you get lucky"
"Wonderful, that narrows down all our chances" Ashley dryly stated
"Hey it's something" Peter said "And knowing how things work out for us, I've got a gut feeling we'll meet the guy sooner or later"
"Hope you're right about that" Garrus said
The trio then went into relative silence, enjoying their meal.
The rest of the day played out as exciting as one would get when waiting for something to happen. Sure Garrus had joined Peter on patrol with even Shepard and Kaidan joining in to kill some time but eventually it lead to another end of an uneventful day.
Spider-man was sitting on the edge of a building, munching on a hot dog as he gazed down below.
He saw cars flying in their lanes, the people down below going about their business without a care in the world…or galaxy really.
There was an odd sense of envy for Peter at that moment. To think that 11 years ago, he was one of those everyday civilians down there, going through life one step at a time. As a kid, Peter didn't truly long for anything greater really. He didn't want to stand out or be this incredible person that people would look to or aspire to.
And yet the moment he got these powers he leapt at the opportunity to do something with them.
Peter shook his head, clearing it of his memories.
He was about to eat the rest of his hot dog when his Spider-sense went off.
Spider-man instantly jumped around, landing on his feet, one hand ready to fire his webs the other holding his dinner.
"One more step and I web you to the wall"
"Well that's the not the last thing I would want" A sultry accented voice said
Peter tilted his head and then narrowed his eyes, catching the shimmer in front of him. His eyes then widened when the person de-cloaked itself revealing it to be none other than the thief he had encountered a while back.
"Oh dear god no" Peter murmured
"What's with the attitude?" The Thief said teasingly, putting on a pose that was WAY to reminiscent of a certain cat burglar back home "Is that anyway to treat a lady?"
"Listen...lady" Peter said slowly "I've had a…complicated relationship with a certain someone back home that is a little too much with what's going on here"
"And what is going on here?" The thief said, now nearing him
"Please don't make me do this" Peter whined childishly eliciting a giggle out of the hooded lady which only served to make Peter groan at his own stupidity. Now he just added fuel to the fire because the thief before him was now giggling more akin to a blushing school girl.
What did he do to deserve this?
"You're cute" The thief admitted, now closer than spider-man realized
Like really close as in, her body was only a few inches away from his own
"I like that" She whispered
"Oh" Spider-man shivered in anxiety "This is just too much"
"What?" She said playfully "I didn't steal anything. And besides, I'm not a thief because I want to be"
She paused
"Well kind of" She added sheepishly "I'm just really good at what I do and I get paid to do so"
"Right, nice to know you made a career path out of it" Peter deadpanned, choosing to finally sit back down on the edge
"You know for a hero who catches criminals, you're oddly nonchalant about me being here"
"Listen miss…" Spider-man paused 'I'm sorry, what's your name?"
"How forward" The hooded lady said cheerfully "It's Kasumi Goto"
"Spider-man" Peter said "Listen Miss Goto, you are not the first cat burglar that I've encountered in my line of work and I have a firm feeling you will not be the last. Girls like you mean well and aren't really bad, and you usually find a way to sneak away from me so I've decided not to do this anymore"
Kasumi simply stared in surprise at how blunt and honest Spider-man was, watching him chomp down on the remainder of his hotdog. Her coy smile returned in full force which then made Spider-man palm his hand to his face.
Quickly finishing his meal, Spider-man slid his mask down his face and turned to face the streets down below again, his back to Kasumi.
Kasumi stared at Spider-man's back, now in a thinking pose as her finger grazed her chin smoothly.
She then had a mischievous grin on her face as she sensually leaned over, wrapping her arms around Spider-man who went rigid when he felt her assets press up against his upper back.
"Why don't you and I have some real fun tonight" Kasumi whispered sensually into Peters ear and grinned when she felt his entire body shiver.
"My entire mind and body is screaming for me to run away right now" Spider-man said "But there's also a part of me that's saying, she has an ulterior motive"
Kasumi found herself blinking at Spider-man's perception and found herself grinning now.
"You're really smart for a nice, well built, sculptured man" Kasumi said, rubbing her hands all over Peter who was now about to squirm
"Alright, what do you want?" Spider-man said finally "Are you trying to steal something of mine?"
"Oh you are good" Kasumi complimented, resting her head on his shoulder "You are way too comfortable. Well more so than most"
"Like I said, you're not the first cat burglar I've dealt with" Peter said, the whole scenario giving him Deja vu
"Then who is this, first experience"
"Are you trying to seduce me Ms. Robinson"
"Ah, you've seen that?" Kasumi said cheerily "Wonderful, we have something in common"
"Listen, Kasumi" Peter managed to get Kasumi off of him "You seem like a nice girl and you're insanely gorgeous but I've got other things to deal with like taking down some super criminals so I'll see you around some other time"
Kasumi blinked once more in surprise as Spider-man back flipped off the roof.
She leaned over the edge and saw Spider-man swinging away.
Kasumi propped up her arms on the ledge, resting her chin in the palm of her hand.
"Spider-man" Kasumi said with clear interest
With Sakoln
Sakoln was currently working on his next suit, welding together a new gauntlet with the technology he had gotten today.
The gauntlets were a little more stream lined, making sure that they cover his arms up to his elbows. He made sure to add back up functions in case of the suit being damaged, specifically for Spider-man since well, he's the only legitimate threat to him.
Sakoln abruptly shot up out of his seat and pointed a gun at the entrance to his secret hideout.
"How did you find this place" Sakoln said darkly to the large shadowed figure
"Hmph, is that any way to treat an old cell mate" Said a familiar voice to the Salarian
"Gaius" Sakoln said, lowering his gun
The Salarians eyes then widened in slight shock to see that Gaius wasn't what he used to be.
"What happened to you?" Sakoln asked slightly disturbed.
Sakolns analytical eyes made a quick rundown of Gaius's new look.
"Who did this to you?"
"Some humans who offered me a chance" Gaius said offhandedly making Sakoln narrow his eyes "A chance to finally fight back against any and all who stand against me"
"That seems rather foolish" Sakoln stated "Do you even know what they did to you?"
"This suit essentially gives me superpowers" Gaius said blandly "They hooked up some neural interface on my neck which allows me to control this suit mentally"
"You do realize that this is attached to your body" Sakoln said in total seriousness "This wasn't done properly…or was it"
"That doesn't matter right now" Gaius said "What matters is that I have this and now I can finally rid myself of that Spider-man and rub away the stain of my reputation"
"You did all of this just because Spider-man ruined your reputation?" Sakoln said in a critical tone "How foolish"
"I have been sent to jail nearly two dozen times now because of Spider-man" Gaius growled getting into Sakolns face who didn't even flinch "And not just him but Garrus Vakarian to. Those two have ruined me. THREE YEARS. Three years I was one of the most feared and respected criminals on the Citadel. The C-sec could never catch me. Then that human freak show and his Turian sidekick comes around and ruin everything, turning me into a chore then a real challenge"
"I understand all that…to an extent" Sakoln said uncaringly "But why come to me?"
"I understand that Spider-man has been a thorn in your side as well" Gaius said leaning in "He's captured you several times now and has bested you in nearly every encounter you've had thus far"
Sakoln couldn't help himself as his eye twitched in irritation and anger at the facts
"And I know you know that he's gonna be a pain in our ass in the foreseeable future" Gaius said
"What are you suggesting Gaius?" Sakoln demanded
"I think you already know" Gaius said with a manic grin "You and I, team up to take down Spider-man"
Sakoln stared hard at the newly christened super villain. The two remained in eye contact for a good few moments.
"Very well" Sakoln said with a nod "Let's say I go along with this. Let's say we do decide to take him out. Do you even have a plan?"
"Spider-man is a simple man" Gaius said casually "When he hears a cry for help he's willing to throw his life away. But we need to make it more personal"
Sakolns eyes narrowed once more. A criminal he may be but he would never truly stoop that low.
However, in his mind, he knew that Spider-man was a threat that wasn't going away anytime soon. And as much as he hates to do this, he has to get rid of him.
"Then what is the plan?"
Several days later
An entire ten days had passed since his run in with Gaius and Sakoln and the Citadel was quiet.
The entire team was a bit on edge but they'd be lying if they weren't lessening their guard. From the looks of things it seemed as though Gaius wasn't making a reappearance anytime soon.
So that's what leads to now, where Garrus and Peter were walking amongst the entertainment district of the Citadel, aptly and blatantly named fun town
"Say what you will about Humans, you guys really know entertainment" Garrus admitted in awe, taking in all the sights of what the human venues had to offer. From movies, to arcades, to unique recreational activities.
"Where do you want to go first?" Peter asked
"Where to first? I don't even know where to begin" Garrus exclaimed
"Well there's always the grand arcade up ahead" Peter said "I haven't been there yet and I wanna see what's so grand about it"
"Space mountain" Garrus murmured, mesmerized by the sights and sounds coming from the building
"Oh wow, a six flags….How in the hell did they cram a six flags here?" Peter asked before shaking his head "Why am I questioning that?"
Elsewhere
A large ship docked at one of the many bays of the Citadel and there was an outpouring of civilians who entered the center of the galaxy.
They all made their way to check ins and so on, picking up any luggage they couldn't carry on.
Eventually the large crowd made it past customary checking and were now dispersing in random directions.
One stood out from the others, feeling a sense of nostalgia as she stood in the very docking bay where she departed from the Citadel several months ago. And more importantly, departed from her friends.
Tali smile excitedly, already having a good number of places where she can find her friends.
She was hoping to see them all, silently hoping that Wrex had taken some time from his Krogan unification pursuits to also stop by and see the team.
She's been so busy with helping around the flotilla that she hasn't been keeping up with what has been transpiring with her team.
Tali glanced down at her hand, smiling happily at her advancements, getting even more excited in seeing everyone especially Peter and Garrus.
With that, Tali giddily sped up her walking, barely containing herself at the thought of seeing her friends again.
Back with Garrus and Peter, the two entered a large arcade and were currently playing an old shoot 'em up involving Aliens, as in the Aliens from Ridley Scott, and since it was an advanced version they had a full head set and gear equipped all around them to simulate the entire experience. And since these kinds of games have made leaps and bounds since the start of the VR headset…
"AAAAHHH" Garrus screamed like a little girl
"RUN GARRUS RUN! THEY'RE EVERYWHERE" Peter exclaimed and the two of them began to run at full speed, still in their sphere.
Surrounding them was the typical crowd that surrounded the game, all laughing understandably at the next set of victims of the game.
Eventually the two pulled off their helmets and took off their gear, panting heavily as they leaned on one another for support.
"Oh god" Garrus said in a high pitched wheezy tone "That was fucking awful. Spirits save me, why the fuck do you humans do this? What is wrong with your species?"
"I don't know" Peter moaned "We have a sick sense of humor and urge to scare the living shit out of one another. Seriously I question my species on a daily basis"
"If it's to get a good laugh, then by all means keep at it" Said a familiar growly voice
Peter and Garrus finished dry heaving and looked up to see a friendly, savage looking Krogan directing an equally friendly, savage grin.
"WREX" The two cried out in surprise, their past experience forgotten as the two rushed over to the Krogan Battle master
"Dude, when did you here?" Peter said with a wide grin
"A While back" Wrex said offhandedly, giving both his old comrades a hand to hand clap followed by a gentle noggin bump which made both stumble resulting in the three of them sharing a laugh
"What are ya doing back here, Wrex?" Garrus asked "How goes your presidential campaign on Tuchanka? The Krogans uniting under your cause?"
"Bit by bit" Wrex said solemnly "It's taking a while but I've currently have ten of the old clans sworn to me. Wasn't easy, or pretty. Shit eating Pyjaks tried to kill me more times than I can count. But they all eventually fell"
"That's not foreboding and terrifying" Peter deadpanned
"Hey, after our whacky adventures, I learned a lot of that from all of you" Wrex said "Plus all my 700 years of experience"
"Right" Garrus said "Well, since you're around Wrex, wanna go meet up with the others and hang? It's been rather dead"
"Unless you don't consider Gaius's recent upgrade" Peter said wryly
"Gaius?" Wrex pondered on the name briefly "Ain't he that second rate Pyjak you two catch on a weekly basis"
"Yeah" Garrus rubbed the back of his head "We have a lot we need to catch you up on"
Scene cut
Shepard and Liara were currently enjoying their time together at the large open park of the Citadel.
The Spectre had his arm around Liara who had head resting comfortably on his shoulder. Her one hand was resting on Shepards lap with the other holding the hand around her shoulder.
The Asari sighed contentedly as she felt an artificial breeze that was real enough for the two of them.
"This reminds of this great spot on Earth" Shepard reminisced "During my training days, I found this nice river with the mountains ahead. Never felt air so clean in my life"
"It sounds wonderful" Liara whispered into her lovers ear
"I'll take you there" Shepard promised with a sincere smile, leaning his head onto hers "Just the two of us without anybody around for miles. We can spend as long as we want there"
"Now that sounds like a blessing from the goddess" Liara said serenely, tilting her head up to capture Shepards lips in a loving kiss
*CLICK*
The two broke apart and saw Ashely holding up an old fashioned camera. She held it down, holding a teasing grin
"Oh, perfect moment" Ashley said mischievously "This will god wonderfully into our photo album
Shepard stared at his sergeant with half lidded eyes while Liara glanced down somewhat embarrassed but unable to hide her smile.
"I really don't know how Peter talked you into this" Shepard said
"Me neither" Ashley admitted with a shrug, now waving the new photo until the picture came out clear "But I gotta admit, it's kinda fun really. Have you guys seen Pete's collection? It's actually quite sweet"
"Hmm" Shepard briefly thought it over "Actually I haven't. How many does he have?"
"A good few dozen, maybe close to more than a hundred" Ashley said
"So what is it Ashley?" Liara spoke up "Is there something wrong?"
"I hate to interrupt you guys but I got a message" Ashley held up her Omni-Tool with a grin "I just received this! Tali's back on the Citadel! And Peter and Garrus sent me a message saying Wrex is too"
"Really?" Shepard perked up with a grin "That's awesome, we haven't seen the two in months"
"This is certainly wonderful" Liara said with a smile "I would love to see us all together again"
"Me too" Ashley said "I heard that Wrex, Garrus and Peter are at Fun Town"
"Couldn't think of a better name" Shepard muttered
"Then let us go to them"
The three departed from the par, Shepard discreetly promising to make up for this to Liara who only gave him a confirming peck on the cheek.
"By the way, Skipper" Ashley looked back to John "Have you heard from Kaidan by any chance?"
"Now that I think about it, I haven't seen him since he left the Normandy" Shepard said "Told me he has to run a few errands"
"I'll send out a message to him" Ashley said "In case he's…"
"WATCH OUT"
Shepard shoved both ladies aside just as the ground in front of them exploded, sending Shepard flying back into a tree
"SHEPARD" Ashley and Liara cried out in horror, rushing over to him
"Well Well Well" A sinister voice remarked "What do we have here? a couple of familiar faces"
The two girls glanced over to where the crater from the explosion was and their eyes widened in shock and horror
"Fancy meeting you here girls" Scorpion said with a crazed smile
Before Liara or Ash could do anything, Gaius swatted aside Liara and grabbed Ashley by the throat, proceeding to drag the red head away.
"ASHLEY" Liara cried out getting to her feet only to get a sudden sense of vertigo as she clutched her bruised head, collapsing onto the ground, unconscious.
Peter, Garrus and Wrex were enjoying their food that they had purchased from a vendor
"Man I can't wait for the gang to be back together again" Peter said "It's been way to long"
"Haven't been in the Manhattan shack in a while" Wrex remarked "It'll be good to see Al again"
"Yeah, he's been asking about us for a while now" Garrus said "Anytime I'm over there, he's wondering where the rest of the gang are"
"We won't have to keep him waiting for long" Peter said "Wonder where we should go to meet up with the others?"
Peter's question was met with an explosion not that far off from where they stood.
The trio stared at the smoke in the distance, followed by sirens and screams
"It's honestly wishful thinking that whenever we're all together in one area that anything but normalcy will happen" Peter said
"Would you have it any other way?" ' Wrex asked with a raring Grin
"On occasion, if that's too much to ask"
"Knowing us, that is too much"
"OH Garrus, the truth of your words" Peter clutched his chest "They pierce my heart"
The trio split, Garrus and Wrex running towards the action, Peter running into a secluded enough spot to call upon the Symbiot an become Spider-man.
Spider-man was web swinging right above Garrus and Wrex soon after and in a matter of minutes, they all arrived at the scene of the explosion.
"Alright, I know there is some kooky thug who is having a bad day but that doesn't mean you have to go out of your way to ruin other people's day" Spider-man called out "We all have sucky days as it is"
"Oh, but Spider-man, the purpose of this was to make it worse"
The trio spun around and saw none other than Shocker, casually leaning up against the wall of the building he just attacked
"Shocker" Spider-man said, narrowing his eyes, Garrus holding up his sniper rifle, Wrex pulling out a large bowie knife(Going away gift from Shepard)
"Ah" Sakoln held up his hand "You wouldn't want anything bad to happen to them, now would you?"
The three friend paused
"What?" Peter said "What do you mean by that?"
"I could see why you are all such close friends" Sakoln said, not even regarding the three battle ready men "The fierceness, the fire. It seems to be a trait you all hold dear"
"What are you talking about, Sakoln?" Garrus demanded, getting a horrible gut feeling
"When I found her, she was full of excitement, it was almost contagious" Sakoln went on, ignoring them "She was true, how would one phrase it, doll? Not sure if I'm using the proper words here, but still, I found her to be quite entertaining"
This did not sit well with them as Sakoln continued on
"And then there was the other guy" Sakoln said "He seemed rather plain at first but he held fast to the resolutions and morale of his fellow teammates and friends that he holds oh so dear. The both of them put up quite a fight"
Now Wrex, Garrus and Peter were tensing up, not liking what Sakoln was insinuating
"And then Gaius told me about that spitfire, as he described her" Sakoln remarked "Told me she was real hassle of trying to silence. Tried every method of trying to escape, but failed when bashed her head"
That nearly sent Peter over the edge
"WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO OUR FRIENDS" Spider-man was about to charge at Sakoln when he tossed two items before them
Both items filled the trio with dread and some horror.
One was Kaidan's custom rifle he worked very hard on with Shepard, Garrus and Wrex during their mission to catch Saren.
The other, made their blood boil.
It was Talis mask, and it was cracked on the left with a piece missing.
Wrex, and especially Garrus and Peter were seething with fury.
"Try anything" Sakoln calmly spoke, holding up a switch "And they all die"
That made them all pause, just as they were about to pounce on the guy.
"I have the fate of your friends in my hand" Sakoln said coldly "Do not tempt me"
They knew they had no choice.
Peter, Wrex and Garrus stood up straighter and lowered their arms and weapons.
"What do you want?" Peter all but demanded darkly
"Simple" Sakoln said "You"
Spider-man blinked, Wrex and Garrus looking over to the hero.
Peter didn't even have a moment of hesitance.
"Then take now and let them all go" Peter said, stepping forward
"Spider-man" Wrex and Garrus said in alarm
"You can't be serious about giving yourself up to these shit eating, fucking Pyjaks" Wrex all but growled, glaring venomously at Sakoln who stood their unfazed
"Oh no, it's not going to be that simple" Sakoln said
His suit made a whirring sound and then his gauntlets had several holes appear. A heavy smoke came out, surrounding Sakoln until he was no longer visible to them.
"Come alone Spider-man" Sakoln's voice echoed out "Dock 24-AD65. I'll know if you bring your friends along with you. If you do, Gaius and I will kill the ones we hold captive"
The last message was then said
"You have two days"
Don't you just love/hate cliffhangers?
Yup, another cliffhanger so this is officially a three parter.
Next one may not be as long but that don't mean it won't be as good.
It's great to be back for this one and I have a great deal of ideas lined up for the upcoming time gap.
This was basically a setup/continuing narrative chapter, if it wasn't that obvious and I can't wait to write more of what's to come
So I'll leave you with one last thing
My next crossover cause I'm having a compilation of work and I've been on a role

The Grand Line.
An ocean feared and revered by all those across the world, be they fish men, human, Giants or so on. An ocean where only the insanely brave and insanely strong have gone on to challenge in hopes of conquering the savage ocean that holds no mercy for those who sail its waters.
For centuries, pirates from all walks of life half attempted this impossible feat only to come up short every time, barley nicking the true insanity of the grand line.
That was until Gol D. Roger.
Gol D. Roger had done the unthinkable. With his crew, The Roger Pirates, Gol had conquered the Grand Line, discovered the secrets of the world and had become the King of The Pirates.
And then, just as quick as Roger had defeated the Grand Line he had been executed by the world government less than a year later. But not before he declared to the world of the One Piece, setting off the Great Age of Pirates.
Fast forward 22 years later, the world government was in a state of turmoil to say the least. All across the Grand Line, new and young pirates having been wreaking total havoc, actively going against the world.
This in turn only caused a greater deal of a headache for Fleet Admiral Sengoku who was nursing the biggest headache he had gotten in a very long time.
He held up a large stack of papers which were wanted posters issued by the World Government in response to these rising super rookies.
Sengoku read off several of the wanted posters in his head
'Eustass 'Captain' Kidd' Sengoku in his own thoughts 'Wanted dead or Alive for 315 million'
'The 'Magician' Basil Hawkins. 249 million'
'Surgeon of Death Trafalgar Law. 200 million'
'Soldier of Slaughter Killer. 162 million'
Sengoku then brought up the papers that truly mattered at this very moment.
"To think that this crew alone single handedly took down CP9" Sengoku murmured to himself
This crew was none other than the Straw Hat Pirates lead by the grandson of the Legendary Hero of the Marines Monkey D. Garp.
"Monkey D Luffy" Sengoku said to himself "Wanted Dead or Alive for 300 million Beri's"
And that was not all.
No, apart from being a supernova with a bounty of 300 million, Straw Hat Luffy had the distinction of being the captain of a crew where everybody had a bounty. Now that was truly a one in a million kind of occurrence. Granted, over in the New world, there had been multiple Pirate captains were a great number of their crew members and subordinates had bounties but most of those were pirates under the Yonko. And yet, here was a crew that challenged that very notion. And the fact that it had happened on the paradise half of the Grand Line truly spoke volumes as to just what kind of crew the government had been dealing with over the course of the past number of months.
AND to add even more shocking news is that 3 of the currently 12 rising supernovas were a part of this one crew.
To say that was frightening was an understatement.
Sengoku had the same thought as his Admiral Aokiji had when he first met the Straw Hats.
For a small group of pirates, their actions scare the shit out of the government.
Getting back to reviewing the task at hand, Sengoku went through each and every bounty individually, his years of experiencing coming into play as he assessed each member.
Monkey D Luffy was obviously the biggest threat seeing that he was the captain and the man with the highest bounty on the crew. It also didn't help the fact that he was not only the grandson to his old friend and comrade Garp but the son of the most wanted man on the planet Monkey D Dragon. He was to be watched closely and Sengoku hoped to whatever god there may be to spare him of the trouble of catching him. He honestly was getting quite full of the constant upstarts that he had to bring down, be it directly or indirectly. Now there were more pirates than ever, with this era having a group of pirates being labeled as "The Worst generation". When you have an era with a name like that, you know things were going to change dramatically in the coming months.
Back to the Straw Hats.
Garp held up the next wanted bounty and it was none other than the first mate of Straw Hat Luffy, 'Pirate Hunter' Zoro, with a bounty of 150 million Beri's. this man had already built up a reputation beforehand, and since joining the Straw Hats, his name has become even more well known.
This of course lead to the next crew member and the third supernova of this crew. Now this one truly alarmed Sengoku, like Luffy and Zoro did.
"Jedi Knight, Anakin Skywalker" Sengoku read aloud "Wanted Dead or Alive for 120 million"
Sengoku stared intently at the three posters, giving each one an analytical once over.
He stayed on Skywalkers the longest. The picture was of a damaged Anakin Skywalker yet he held a roguish grin of proud defiance, wielding his blue blade in a swinging motion as the picture captured him rushing into battle.
In the reports he had received, this Anakin called himself a 'Jedi knight' which earned him said epithet on his wanted poster.
When one was able to hear him speak, the pirate was heard speaking of this ability that he had called 'the force'. A phrase Sengoku hadn't heard in a very long time. A phrase that a select few knew of and even fewer knew just what it meant. Clearly, this Anakin Skywalker was one of them.
Sengoku only growled in disgruntlement as this pirate crew was shaping up to be even more troublesome then he had initially thought.
And what was worse, this wasn't the only force user on this pirate crew.
Shifting through, Demon Child Nico Robin and Black Leg Sanji, Sengoku reached the other force user of the crew.
Emerald Typhoon, Ahsoka Tano, Wanted dead or alive for 65 million Beri's.
What was she exactly? She clearly wasn't human or Fish men to say the least. No, Sengoku knew that she was something else entirely. Something not of this world. So if she wasn't a part of this world, neither was Skywalker.
"To think that Jedi would be on this world once more" Sengoku said to himself, spreading out the 11 Wanted posters of the Straw Hat Pirates. Alone, this crew all together was a whopping total of 882 million Beri's.
The Jedi and their counterparts the Sith were not truly unknown for their very sporadic appearance in this world. It's just so far and few in between that normal everyday folk and even some of the highest ranking Marines to the most infamous of pirates know next to nothing on these individuals. Some have even claimed that these warriors were just myths upon the sea.
But the Fleet Admiral knew better. In his time, sometimes one had to question the unimaginable and see just what happens when your path takes you down that road
Sengoku read over them once more
Straw Hat Luffy Wanted Dead or Alive for 300 Million
Pirate Hunter Zoro Wanted Dead or Alive for 150 Million
Jedi Knight Skywalker Wanted Dead or Alive for 120 Million
Demon Child Nico Robin Wanted Dead or Alive for 80 Million
Black Leg Sanji Wanted Dead or Alive for 77 Million
Emerald Typhoon Tano Wanted Dead or Alive for 65 Million
Cyborg Franky Wanted Dead or Alive for 44 Million
Sogeking Wanted Dead or Alive for 30 Million
Cat Burglar Nami Wanted Dead or Alive for 16 Million
Cotton Candy Lover Tony Tony Chopper Wanted Dead or Alive for 50
Sengoku leaned back into his chair and sighed aloud.
This was going to be a long few days ahead of him
Thanks for reading my friends and comrades
