It's finally time.
He don't need Orochimaru anymore. He won't give up his body to the snake freak. He can kill his damned brother by his own hands.
Sasuke kept his pace even as he strode towards Orochimaru's living quarters.
He cut the door to his bedroom in pieces with his kusanagi. Orochimaru looked up from his bed and coughed while doing so.
"Hmm I see your finally here sasuke-kun"
Sasuke smirked. 'This will be over in no time.'

It's been almost two months since the akatsuki Incident. And also two months since everyone saw Haruno Sakura, who is declared as KIA.
Most of Sakura's friends moved on but there are still some who couldn't believe what happened to their fiery pink haired friend.
"Anbu squad 7 is back to report, Hokage-sama." The chunin informed his hokage.
Tsunade looked at him sharply and ordered."send them in"
Three figures entered the hokage's office. She looked at them grimly, her gaze spefically at two of the three Anbu.
"You can remove your masks now, Naruto kakashi and Sai." Said tsunade. The Anbu did what they were told.
Kakashi stepped forward to submit their report.
Tsunade looked at the group in a daze. She was remembering all the times they used to come to her office just like this, the only difference is that the group has a certain someone missing and with her absence she also took away their smiles and laughter.
She didn't listen to any of the things kakashi reported save for 'the mission went successfully'
She nodded as he finished speaking. She looked at Sai and dismissed him from her office. It's not that the kid is bad or anything but she couldn't trust anything or anyone who has any contact with that bastard Danzo and willingly at that.
She looked at the remaining 2 members of Anbu squad 7 and the only members alive of team kakashi still in her office.
She was secretly hoping that What she was about to inform them may bring them some ounce of happiness or even relief, which was impossible for them to feel after the terrible incident.
"We've received information about Uchiha Sasuke." She paused to gauge their reactions. Their was nothing. Not even a flinch.
Sakura's death affected both of them more than anyone else.
She continued "he killed Orochimaru. And has formed a special team named "Hebi" to pursue his revenge on his brother Uchiha Itachi."
Naruto sneered. Tsunade thought that, that expression on his face looked totally out of place. It shouldn't be on Naruto's face, his face was made for only determined smlies and those fox like goofy grins.
"So that bastard is still not coming back after all of this." He said. Tsunade nodded solemnly.
"He recently stole the forbidden scroll hidden in the fire temple in wave country." As she said that kakashi frowned and mumbled "He's being foolish."
Tsunade continued to tell them " I know you just came back from your mission but you two are the only ones I can trust with this mission." They both nodded at her.
"Your mission is to retrieve that scroll at any cost." She looked at them with narrowed eyes and said in a dead serious tone."even if you have to kill him."
She expected at least some sort of angry comment or protest but yet again her expectations drowned.
"When do we leave?" Asked Naruto. Tsunade looked at him but took her eyes away instantly. She couldn't look in his defeated eyes.
"Get some rest today. You will leave tomorrow in evening.And inform Sai about it just before leaving tomorrow " They nodded and she dissmised them.
She turned in her chair to gaze at the village through her large window.
Naruto and kakashi changed completely after Sakura's death. Naruto trained day and night and passed the Anbu exams with flying colours. He never smiles truly, nor laugh. They are always fake.
And kakashi. He took his previous position of an Anbu operator again. He started coming on time. For everything.
Sakura always used to say that 'kakashi-sensei will never be on time for anything'. Oh how she would've been shocked to see him on time. But the cost of his newfound punctuality is too much. And it hurts too much.
And when they weren't on missions or training like hell, they would be in the bars of konohagakure, drunk.
They were suffering. But it's time for them to move on and Tsunade will do everything in her power to ensure it.

He was annoyed beyond belief.
His annoyance was because of a number of things actually. His team can't find itachi. They don't have a single clue as to where they would find him. And his team can't stay silent for more than 5 seconds. It's like having a team full of Narutos.
Sasuke sighed and looked at the road forward.
Sometimes he wished he could get back his old team. He shook his head inwardly to stop the memories of his old team.
He have to be strong. And his old team is a hindrance.
He left them to protect them, to keep them out of harms way. Naruto has became a lot stronger, his name is in the bingo books after all, he can protect Sakura.
He reminded himself.
He looked back at his team and silenced them with his glare.
But the silence was took away from him by karin.
"Wait" everyone stopped and looked at her, karin continued "there are three chakras coming our way, very fast."
Team Hebi looked at their Leader for orders. Sasuke asked karin in a monotonous tone "Do you have any clue as to where are they from" karin shook her head and replied with "No, but one of them has an extremely large and sinister chakra hidden inside his regular chakra." She was shaking.
That chakra is scaring her.
Sasuke contemplated their options and ordered his team "we will confront them. I want to see who is it to have such a strong chakra." He said the last part to himself in a low voice.
Team Hebi followed their leader to a small clearing inside the woods. The four of them stopped and waited for the supposed enemies. Jugo had a bird sitting on his fingers, he looked as if he was talking to it. He looked at his leader and said "They seemed to be Anbu " he paused but continued after a moment "from Leaf" Sasuke looked at him sharply. 'This is becoming troublesome'thought Sasuke and inwardly smirked at his choice of words as they reminded him of one of his old comrades.
Somewhere laying in the woods of konoha, lazily watching the clouds shikamaru sneezed.
A moment later team Hebi was face to face with the Anbu previously following them.
Sasuke started with his monotonous voice. "Why are you following us"
"That's because you are doing foolish things" yelled a Anbu standing to the right. Sasuke turned his face to him and thought 'his voice his familiar ' "who are you ?" He asked immediately. He couldn't be who he thinks he is.
"Now now sasuke, don't act as if you don't remember us" Came the laid back voice of the Anbu standing in the middle.
Sasuke can never forget that voice. After all it belongs to the times when he spent his most enjoyable days.
He struggled to maintain his emotionless facade. But his years of training kicked in and his face remained passive. "Kakashi" pointing with his eyes towards the middle one and "Naruto" to the one on the right.
"That's right, you bastard." Came his affirmation. He looked at the last member of the squad.
The third one hasn't said anything. But he was clearly a man behind that mask. 'Where's Sakura'he thought. 'Did she not come with them'
She must've not promoted to Anbu. She wasn't the Anbu type anyway. That's good, at least she will remain alive far longer that way.
He looked at kakashi and said "What do you want with me? I am not coming back to your pathetic village if that's the reason."
Suigetsu's voice came next " you know these people sasuke" his reply was a sharp glare which shut his up.
"We are here to retrieve that scroll which you stole from the fire temple." Came the voice of the third Anbu.
For some reason sasuke doesn't like him.
"Well you can just leave, because I am not going to give that scroll back "
Then Naruto charged at him" Then I will take it back after beating you to a pulp"
Sasuke smirked and replied "we all know what happened last time when you tried to beatme to a pulp." His tone mocking the blonde.
Sasuke took a moment to asses his surroundings. Kakashi was fighting jugo and that third Anbu was fighting Suigetsu.
Then he focused on his own opponent. He attacked Naruto with his kusanagi. Naruto dodged using a kunai but sasuke's Katana peirced his mask in pieces.
Naruto growled. But when Sasuke looked at his eyes, he frowned inwardly. Naruto's eyes looked dead.
As if the reason of his happiness has been taken away from him.
But during his musings Naruto found an opening to attack sasuke.
Sasuke used his fast reflexes to dodge. "Tch your as weak as always Dobe" he teased him. First he has to find out about something.
So sasuke continued "So you became Anbu, konoha's standards seem to be decreased to an impossible level." He received a Rasengan for that. "Hmm so where is Sakura? Was she so weak that you had to replace her with another Anbu"
This time, he felt it. That sinister chakra rolling out from Naruto. It was the same in the valley of End.
"Don't you dare insult her" Naruto yelled, an orange cloak of chakra was covering him and there were 4 tail like things emerging from it.
This is what happened last time. Sasuke activated his sharingan and looked at Naruto. And tried to see what is inside of him.
He was standing infront of what looked like a dungeon, sasuke looked forward to find naruto with an gigantic orange fox. So this what is inside of Naruto.The fox looked at him." Hmm an Uchiha. I haven't seen one since I was sealed inside of this brat. Boy, do you know Uchiha Madara? " It asked.Sasuke looked unimpressed and suppressed the fox's chakra inside Naruto.
"Who knew You had something like that inside of you" Sasuke said once Naruto seemed like in control.
"Shut up" Naruto said in a low voice. He still had that defeated look in his eyes, as if he had given up.
Sasuke's eyes narrowed. "So Where's Sakura? " He asked again. He was a curious person by nature, he just didn't often show it.
Naruto looked up from the ground, he was exhausted because of using the kyubi. "She's dead"
Sasuke's eyes widened. Something passed in his eyes but it dissappeared as soon as it came.
"Tha...that's impossible" Sasuke said, his normal facade cracking.
"I couldn't save her, he took her, killed her and I couldn't even do a damn thing" Naruto was crying now.
Sasuke was shaking, 'no no this is another nightmare, just another nightmare' "who?" He asked in a cold voice.
"Akasuna no Sasori , an akatsuki member"
After getting that piece of information, he flash stepped behind naruto and pushed a pressure point. Naruto fell unconscious.
Sasuke knew, he too was tired because of his fight with naruto, but he didn't stop. He made his way to his team and ordered them to retreat immediately.
They were gone before the two Anbu members could do anything.
