the sun was just rising up in the vast sky. The birds, on the tree near her window, were chirping enthusiastically.
A steady and calm breeze was blowing through her window and into her room.
Everything is as it is everyday except the absence of the loud snores of her blonde friend who's room is just beside her's. She blinked herself awake as she tried to process what is going on around her. she didn't sense any hostile presence or a presence at all for that matter in the house.
Having s-class shinobi teammates, sometimes have its disadvantages. You can't sense their damn chakra no matter how good you are at it. They are just that good in suppressing their chakra. she just have to check downstairs if the two of them are in the living room. she can accept her quiet teammate to be up this early but it's very uncharacteristic of her loud blonde teammate as deidara can sleep till evening if no one woke him up.
As she climbed down the last of the stairs, she instantly noticed an absence.
"has deidara went out?" her voice held curiosity.
"He's been called by the leader" was what she received.
she accepted the answer as she nodded and made her way to the kitchen to provide herself with some breakfast. She didn't want to eat infront of her teammate, who can't eat at all, so she finished her small breakfast while remaining in the kitchen.
His glare was the first thing she received when she re-entered the living room.
"you have to stop doing that" came his cold voice.
she came closer to him and said in a tone that was laced with emotions.
"but i care tha-" she was cut off with his harsh snap.
" well then you shouldn't care."
when he looked at her eyes , they were glazed with hurt and concern.
there burst a very very tiny bit of feeling akin to guilt in his heart but he didn't acknowledged it.
he didn't have emotions and neither should she.
He stood up from his sitting position on the couch and took hold of her wrist.
" tell me , what should I do to get rid off those emotions that you have. I've tried every possible way to make you more skilled and efficient in the art of killing. And you've improved as a shinobi but those emotions, they are a hindrance. tell me...tell me how to exterminate them."
She felt angered more than hurt or scared.
how dare he talk about her as if she was a machine or one of those puppets of his.
She was about to snap at him but stopped when she heard his next words.
"I should've just turned you into a puppet just like i was supposed to do. "
tears were forming at the corner of her eyes.
"no, no you-... wha... you won't do that, we are teammates, I. .I know you"
His chocolate brown eyes were stone cold.
"Then you really don't know me"
she can't take this right now. she have to get away. away from this-this monster.
but she can't go anywhere, she doesn't even know anyone else except her two teammates and one of them isn't even here. and the other is the one who she wants to be away from right now.
so she just ran upstairs, into her room and slammed the door shut.

The office was void of any presence. The guards outside were already in a deep sharingan induced sleep.
He reached the desk and the first thing he saw was enough to make him go in an almost panic state. Almost.
He has enough self control to avoid such incident when on a mission.
So he ignored her grinning smile that could light up a thousand bulbs and her emerald eyes that used to burn with a passionate fire. Uchiha Sasuke ignored the framed picture of his beloved teammate , Haruno Sakura, that was resting upon the hokage's desk.
He reached for the drawer and was about to open it to search for any scrolls or documents that could help him in his pursue of akatsuki but stopped as he sensed her before even hearing her.
"What purpose do you have sneaking in the hokage's office, uchiha" Came the booming voice of the Hokage of the leaf.
